couldn't we go back to the story style we had before? This! did it ever fail? Nope. Until a failure occurs in something, it need not to be "improved", so to speak. "Well, it works but lets make it better!" Not the case. Every time people "Make something better" (dealing with site things, obviously) it doesn't exactly get better. I was on a site a while back and there was an RP. I, of course, was young and didn't understand what it meant to RP; thus, I did not look into it. But this place had a C-Box. I can vaguely remember people barking at each other about an "upgrading" change in the RP. I had no idea what the hell they were talking about so I left. I really don't want this to happen here. JUST A COMMENT (ignore if you are not replying to Angel):
This personally just insults me. I came here originally because I loved smash brothers. Then I found fun in RPing. Standards for one of MY RIGHTS is simply unacceptable. Yes, I used that scary phrase,"my rights". I want to protect them as well. If I can't do something allowed on the forums, well then to hell with this place. I don't want to be in a god damn dictatorship and I doubt others do.

Dood, give some of the new styles and systems a chance.. like the new story for instance. All while you do that, push for staff to make some compromises. That is the best approach in my opinion.

Okay, first of all I want to apologize for sounding way too harsh on this thread. I should never have let all these comments attack me personally.
I want to start by asking something. If you all want a simple, fun RP so badly, why aren't you trying to make one on Other RPG? I know I told this to Star and she felt it wasn't the right idea.. but I see two sides that both want something and they conflict. I feel like if the second side went and got together and made a fun RP as well, just separated, then both sides could be happy.
But if that doesn't work. I understand.
Mariomasher, spoiling something and etc. doesn't really change the fact that you said it. But I do understand where you are coming from when you say it. I never said you couldn't RP.. I was saying that if you can't devote anytime to it, your entry into it is hurtful if anything. I understand maybe a post every other day, but if someone can't keep up with that on a 75% basis, if that person feesl like even spending 1 hour on a template is too much, then the person in question should really think twice about entering something where everyone is going to be waiting on them, where they are keeping the site itself from reaching potential and why them entering the RP is fair when they might if anything make it worse.
I'm asking one more time for people to please put your judgment on the current RP aside for just maybe a few more days. RP Staff is really working hard on something and I think that even Big Boss does really like it.. so if one of "you" enjoys the sound of it, maybe the rest will too.

Upon the loli's request, let's lay down our arms and see what the staff has to present. We gave them our complaints, so lets wait. However if the system is still complicated or sucks in anyway, you may tie Angel to a wooden post and execute her.
