Chapter 4: Shattered Sanctuary

Eiron did not move. His face displayed no emotion, no hint of his thoughts or intentions. The childish version of Sour rushed at him out of the darkness, brandishing his staff menacingly, the shattered mirror below tingling as he passed over it. Eiron stood unmoving, his head cocked slightly down and to the side, staring at the violent persona. The wrathful incarnation leapt forward, slamming the staff downward towards Eiron’s head, malice etched across his face.

Eiron’s hand shot up, catching the staff in his hand. His voice carried no sound, but it boomed within Sour’s mind. “I will creatures into existence merely with the power of my thoughts.” He said, anger seeping into his voice. “Did you think you could challenge me here, in this place?” He wrenched the staff out of the persona’s hands and smashed it across his face, sending him sprawling. He then threw the staff to the ground, annoyed.

He turned to the shattered mirror on the ground, his face and voice still hard. “Get up. We go now to the greatest battle of our lives, against an unspeakable evil, and you would fade away into nothingness, devoid of purpose?” The younger version of Sour was slowly climbing to its feet, staring at Eiron with rage. “Stand up and slay your demons. I am not going to forge your destiny for you. If you cannot-will not decide your own fate, then there is no point in me being here, and you have wasted all of our time.” Anger began to spread across Eiron’s face, and his voice turned harder yet. “Now stand up Sour. Help us return Order to this chaotic world. Stand up and take your destiny into your own hands, or fade into nothingness and die.”

“NOW GET UP.”

Sour stood up from the shards. His body twinkling from the mirror shards still on him. Suddenly, everything flashed and as the light returned, Eiron was viewing a new environment.

A green environment stretching as far as the eye can see. The flowers in full bloom, the wind peacefully blowing in your hair, the cool breeze in your face. There was a rugged little tree that had many markings all over it. These marks must've been from Sours staff. There was a little bed right under the leaves of the tree providing a nice cool shady area for sleeping.

Sour was sitting on one of the tree trunks.

"You have truly shown me the way," Sour explained to Eiron. "You have awakened the fire in my spirit and its up to me to keep myself burning."

Suddenly, a dark force was running towards Sour. The grass gradually began to die and the trees leaves were falling at a quick pace. Suddenly, standing in front is Sour's evil variation.

Evil Sour had a grin on his face, his rugged hair and red eyes revealed bloodlust. He was ready to fight.

Sour(normal Sour) opened his hands and suddenly a staff appeared. Sour got ready to do battle.

"Leave my mind!" Sour yelled. "I have to end this myself, this fight shall end the power struggle for my mind once and for all."

The tyrant's eyes flickered towards the child-like matron, cocking his head in a curious fashion. Dumbfounded, he glared into those bright, child-like eyes of hers; piercing and never moving, pupils immense, seemingly lost forever in her chocolatey stare. This began to make Arietta uncomfortable, breaking the hypnotic gaze with monumental effort. Crehavos straightened his posture, eyes returning to normal - or as normal as demon eyes could be.

"So you didn't puncture my vessle's exterior after all." he said, finally breaking the silence. Arietta gasped softly, and she finally realized what her master was doing: reading her delicate mind.

"Don't do that!" She exclaimed, the corner of her mouth twitching with humiliation.

"I was merely curious." Crehavos shrugged. "It was odd though... I could've sworn I had felt your energy destroying my ship."

Arietta sighed, a cold shiver racing down her body. It was beginning to rain, it felt like a potent hurricane was beginning to arise. "It wasn't me who destroyed it, but a being known as Kaimu. He can morph his energy signal to mimic someone else's."

Crehavos' face was unreadable, though it was hard to miss the terrifying rage behind his irises of white. However, this ever so interesting conversation was interupted by an all too familiar face. His wild black hair was whipping around in the violent winds, pale skin covered with dribbles of the falling percipitation. His cloak of deathly black seemed to be ancient, like it was passed down for eons at a time. And his eyes, a brilliant, smoldering scarlet that was both alluring and frightening...

"It seems I've missed a lot in a week," Evil Kin began, his rough voice unfamiliar to only one in the group, "but I'm back for whatever you need me to do, I guess."

The Dark Emperor, still vacant as ever, refused to turn to his second in command; remaining motionless, staring out into the raining clouds above. "They're in space..." The whole group looked baffled at this sudden statement. Who was in space?

"... come again?" Evil Kin asked.

"The SSS, they've escaped the planet. The majority are departing to an unknown corner of the Universe that I'm not sure even I could find anytime soon." He seemed to be speaking more to himself at this point. "Another group, much smaller, are in the Red Subspace. They're trying to free..." the demon broke off there, seeming to grasp that he was still graced by company. "It makes no difference. Giratina will be enough a fractious beast to deal with, and now I'm detecting Steele there as well...

"It is essential to egress against the cosmos to locate the new Super Smash Saviors Headquarters, now before it is too late. This requires you all to venture out into the darkened abyss, and there you will find those inept leeches." Crehavos finally turned towards Nemeck, Arietta, and Evil Kin; his gorgeous face and diaphanous, silver hair drenched from the downpour of this coastal line. "Do destroy them, won't you? Their heckling ruins my amusement."

The small crowd of heroes were gathered, preparing to face whatever fate threw their way. Another screech shot out, louder this time, forcing the SSS warriors to cover their pained ears. There was something colossal rushing through the shadows, Snicket catching a brief glimpse of the monstrous creature. It had a long, serpentine body, like that of a basilisk; jagged spikes purging forth along the lower sides of its body. Gray with red and black stripes, golden claw-like sections forming around its neck and upper body; like a ribcage. It's head was made up of the same golden material, red eyes piercing and vivid in the darkness; and long, wing-like limbs flowing out of it's back. The monster was Crehavos' pet, the deity Giratina.



Giratina finally confronted the party of SSS warriors, glaring at them as though they were a tasty meal. Then they all heard quiet footsteps on the invisible pathway ahead, a dark figure now forming in the distance. "Isn't this a nice turn of events? Crehavos will be very happy with me when me and his pet... well... I shouldn't reveal the surprise just yet."

There, standing ever so smugly, was the deadly traitor: Steele.

Eiron calmly walked to the side and leaned against the rapidly decaying tree, watching the two Sours square off. His face was calm and collected, and he was not particularly concerned with the upcoming battle. He would not participate directly in any way-this was Sour’s battle to fight. However, if his darker side emerged victorious…

Eiron’s faced darkened. He would end it himself.

Nemeck studied the new arrival without turning his head towards him. The rapid procession of events had seemingly cooled Crehavos’ rage, returning him to his normal, arrogant façade. Nemeck did not move, but cast his attention skyward. Eiron… he thought, drifting out of focus with his surroundings. Briefly, memories surged into his consciousness. His home-no, his birthplace, long forgotten, long sealed by the power of his mind, shimmered forth. He remembered the audacity of youth, the feeling of invincibility, the unquestionable certainty in his own abilities-the absolute knowledge that his destiny lay before his fingertips.

He remembered the fall. The terrible, relentless, burning fall from grace and glory.

“Do destroy them, wont you? Their heckling ruins my amusement.”

Nemeck slowly returned to the present, feeling the cold, stinging rain dripping down his cloak, and the aura of malevolence that emanated from Crehavos. He turned his head slightly; taking Arietta and the newcomer under his gaze, then focusing solemnly back onto Crehavos, the tyrant, the Alazon. Nemeck already knew how his story would play out. He had already lived out that failure, long, long ago. He spoke, his voice emotionless.

“Thy will be done.”

"There would be a giant ghost dragon in the way." Dobs withdrew his sais and then addressed the group, "We can't all stay to fight this thing... some of you have to keep going, but I'm staying."

"As am I," said Samus. "Got any idea how to beat this thing?"

"Well," said Dobs, "You keep shooting it in the face as I figure something out."

"Sounds good," Samus locked her arm cannon onto Giratina's red eyes and began to rapid fire as she strafed around the massive creature.

Dobs gazed up at his enemy as he formed a plan of attack. He would run and platform up its back until he reached the head then he w-Thud.

Steele had tackled him to the floor.

Dobs rubbed his head as he got up, "Why did you switch sides again?"

Kin looked at Snicket "I have to help dobs, theres no way he can do it alone, I promise I will catch up with you later, just contact me via smash Orb."

"Are you shure you can defeate Giritina!?" Snicket asked as he diddnt want Kin to really go for his saftey reasons. Kin looked back at Snicket "I would much rather put myself in harms way first, you all are too valuable, and Snicket you have Arceus to take care of, i couldint live with myself if you were hurt and that would mean arceus would never be awakened." Kin said as he drew out his hand gun and loaded it with silver bullets. "Dont worry, Ill be fine" Kin said as he walked away.

He then Looked at Snake, "Ok Old Friend, This time i should probobly do this alone you go on ahead with Snicket." Kin said as he put his hand on snakes shoulder, then walked away towards Dobs. Snake stood there for a second, he looked back at snicket who was also looking at Kin. "Im not that old" Snake said in his rhaspy voice and walked over to Kin and grabbed His shoulder.

"I am destined to fight on the battlefeild, till the very end of me untill i die i will still fight, when I die i am set free" Snake said as he continued on to Giritina.

Evil Kin looked at his commander "Look for a base that I have never seen or heard of before?" he asked in a annoying tone. ".........whatever, your the Boss" Evil Kin said.

Steele stood up from knocking down Dobs. The Sai master was knocked back a few yards. "Well, this is my first battle, lets see how I do without this thing..." Steele reached up to his forehead and tapped the gem on his headband. The gem turned from green to a glowing ruby red. Steele reached behind his head and unclipped the band.

Something snapped in Steele's mind. His power and energy skyrocketed up, surging like never before. Steele's eyes widened, and his pupils disappeared.

"GRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!" Steele screamed at the top of his lungs. Red and black lightning surged from all places from his body. A shockwave of malitious power went out through the dimension. Steele's body began to glow a bright white color, and he levitated up a few inches. Everyone watching covered their eyes.

From the light an evil crackle could be heard.

As the gang looked they saw a silouete of a large, blulky Steele with his hair flopping all about. The light dimmed, and Steele returned to the ground. The large figure receded back, Steele looked normal again.


"Now then..." Steele began. "I'm afraid that I can't let you all leave." Steele swiped his hand in front of him. "Demons of Hell, arise!!" A portal opened up in front of Steele. Out of it, a single demon came forth. It was a muscular, human like creature, but with hooves for feet. It wore no clothing, but it's goatlike legs were covered by ripped rags. It's skin was red and grey, and it sported two horns on it's head. "I'm going to need you to stop them, kill them if you must." Steele pointed towards the gang of Snicket, LGN, Yoshi, and everyone else.

The demon grunted and signaled back into the portal. From the portal, 50 more demons ran out, and charged at the gang of Smash Saviors.

X looked in on the SSS members where they were and quickly decided where he needed to go.
"Alright, so you all are staying here, and I'm going and...well, I'll...I'm glad I'm back. I'll miss her, but ... I was feeling the same way...if she didn't it might have lasted longer...but I tihnk we both feel it's right. But I'll still miss her and wish her the best. I...I guess I have nothing else to say. So. let's fight."

X cut himself and looked into the scar, and soon he found himself falling.

As the 50 demons came out of the portal, he landed on one, staff ready for action. He quickly hit two more before anyone knew what was going on, and they fell to the ground. A few of the demons turned to him, ready to fight.

"Hey guys," X called to the SSS. "I'm back."

Voltage answered to Genesis's question, "I believe its time we parted ways, there is a path I must follow....as do you Genesis." Genesis replied, "So well meet again someday?". Voltage replied,"Yea, and then well settle our score...but this time there won't be a tie this time." Genesis nodded and then they pated ways.

"So those SSS bastards left us...bunch of ridiculous traitors, they'll pay for that when we begin our domination"Reynal said with anger. Oakley asked, "So there's no way to get to them now?". Abdol pushed his glasses up and replied,"Heh, I knew this plan would come in handy." Everyone got confused, but always leave it to Abdol to have an ace up his sleeve. Jonas asked, "Alright man, watcha got planned in that brain of yours?" Abdol stepped back a distance from his team and yelled....

Suddenly a portal appeared infront of Abdol, and then an image of Zel's Ship showed in the portal. "Its the ship!",Neni yelled. "Right this way please" Abdol said. Everyone entered the portal, but Abdol remained behind and sensed an energy of fire a distance from him. Abdol yelled,"Whoever you are, don't bother following us, you're outnumbered...but you may enter if you wish." That being said Abdol entered the portal.

They finally arrived on Zel's Ship, outside where they hang out. Luckly the outside was protected by a huge clear protective window so that the Super Humans would have oxygen. "Well were here...I'll go let Zel know of our arrival." Abdol left the team and went inside the ship to see Zel. "You guys have this habit of being in command, its getting annoying", Reynal said. Genesis laughed silently in the background.

Alicia floated inside a wierd magic-like capsule as she rests.



A voice came out of nowhere and began to speak to Alica. "Alica my child, awaken." Apparently it was her "Father" and then she awakened from her slumber as the capsule slowly opened."I am awake my father", Alica responded with a calm emotion like she was being mind controlled. The mysterious "Father" asked,"Are you ready my child?". Alica replied,"Yes my father." "Father" then answered,"Then it shall begin...good luck my child."

Suddenly a bright light began to fill the dimension and Alica walked into the light. Then she, and the dimension itself, vanished.

Voltage watched as Genesis and the others leave. Goodbye for now, my friends He thought to himself. Suddenly he felt a small form on his back and was forced into the portal.

Voltage and his attacker flew through the portal and landed hard on the floor. Genesis was surprised that Voltage had followed. "What are you doing here? I thought you didnt want to come."

Voltage groaned. "I didnt." Then he heard a voice he hasnt heard in a small while. "Voltage!!" He got up and turned around to see a little girl. He sighed and spoke. "Hello again Crush. What have you been up to?" Crush replied, "Nothing much really."

Genesis interupted by asking: "Voltage...who is this?" Voltage turned back to Genesis with Crush climbing onto his left shoulder. She answered for him saying: "I am Crush, Knight of the Earth Insect Tribe." Voltage then said, "Lets go inside before we talk to catch up, hmm?" With that he walked inside, followed by the Super Humans.

Bob was about to approach Arceus with Giratina being distracted to look for a way to liberate it from the red chains, but before anything could be done, another threat appeared: Steele.

"What happened to you?" LGN called to the powered-up Steele, whose headband seemed to be the source of his strength. "Seven years ago, you used to be one of us. You were Geo's apprentice. He taught you some of the most valuable techniques he knew, but you betrayed him. You betrayed all of us...Why?..."

But there was no response; the un-human-like Steele appeared to be totally absorbed in the task of summoning demons from a portal which led to a place that wasn't hard to guess. First one enormous creature, followed by a horde of slightly smaller ones, the demons surged forward to unleash their bottomless fury on the SSS.

And then Steele turned his attention to Dobs, Kin, Snake, and Samus, along with Giratina, who looked about ready to bite someone's head off.

Snicket addressed the rest of the group with a set expression of determination. "Well, it looks as if we've found the right place. But Crehavos isn't going to let us off easy. LGN, Diddy, Banjo, Kazooie: hold the demons back with projectiles for a second; I will join you shortly."

Compliantly, the four heroes began directing their efforts toward the satanic army approaching them. LGN used his guns; Diddy, fired many spinning peanuts at crippling speeds; Kazooie spat out a barrage of Grenade eggs from her beak, while Banjo bent down to help her aim. The first several demons were sent flying back or were blasted away, but as soon as they were out of the way, more rushed forward to take their place. Their sweaty, glistening red skin, their dagger-like horns and claws, their savage crimson pupils like that of a cat's, and their bat-like appendages would have daunted many heroes. But not the SSS. For, after all, they had nothing to fear but fear itself. And even then, the Super Smash Saviors thought nothing of fear.

A surprise appearance arrived to their aid in the commencement of battle: X, the strange, mysterious identity who had sporadically shown up here and there to assist them. He seemed to have started showing up about when Smashbro, their old leader, had vanished. But either which way, he also was a welcome addition as they waged war with the very embodiments of sin and heresy.

Snicket directed Yoshi to face the rampant Giratina. "I have a special task for you, my fruit-eating friend." He reached inside his cloak and pulled something out. "Remember this?"

Yoshi's eyes widened as he recognized the green Melon which the Yoshi Chief had bestowed upon Snicket, over seven years ago now. So much had happened between then and now, and yet the boy had still held onto this object. "Really, Bob? You know, a melon like that is worse for me than a Smash Ball. I'll have control, but I don't prefer that kind of fighting..." He gazed at his old friend beseechingly.

Snicket gave a small grin. "I'm afraid you must, Yoshi. Kin and Snake won't be able to hold off a legendary monster like that alone...especially when it's most likely been souped up with Crehavos's dark powers. We really don't have any other choice."

The green dinosaur relented. "Alright. But you owe me for this one."

Bob nodded, and then tossed the melon up over Yoshi. Effortlessly, the kind Brawler flicked out his long red tongue and dragged the fruit out of the air into his mouth, swallowing quickly.

The Smasher doubled over, lurching as if a carnivorous insect were eating his stomach from the inside. He winced, shuddering violently and struggling to maintain his position. "Go...Bob..."

Satisfied, Snicket nodded and returned to the task at hand: the demon army.

Arceus remained unconscious nearby all the action, oblivious to it all in his captivity.

"Alright, ye fiends of the infernal pit," Snicket whispered to himself, brandishing his Super Hammer. "As much as I try to abstain from violence, I must make an unfortunate exception in your case. Prepare for..." He hesitated, searching for the right words. "...some clever, profound battle remark." With that, he dashed forward, his billowing Invisibility Cloak rendering him all but hidden from the eyes of his enemies as he ran. The next thing they knew, a blurred, distorted mass of space was upon them, plunging through the demons' numbers.

Yoshi shuddered one last time, and came to a cold, suspenseful halt. Then...

"WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" (Yoshi's Story voice)

All of a sudden, Yoshi had become...something else. Something else entirely.

The true Dragon Yoshi bellowed with a tremendous roar that seemed to shake Red Subspace just as much as Giratina, and sped forward toward his equally-monstrous foe, a very un-Yoshi-like glow in his yellow eyes.

Steele turned to LGN. LGN no longer had his signature helmet as Steele last remembered. A thought occured in Steele's head. He hadn't seen LGN in seven years. Seven years of destruction, seven years of hating. "LGN" Steele began. "I left the SSS for several reasons. Primarilly of the self corruption that occurs in the SSS itself. I served the SSS as a lackie for some time, a janitor. I saw what truley went on in that blasted HQ. The supreme and powerful leaders decided what would go on, how they would do it, when they would do it. Then before any of the lower Saviors would try to do something, the Leaders would run off leaving the rest in the dark.

Then when it came time to actually do something important, your leaders sat back and let the grunts do the dirty work. How can you to claim--to try--to bring justice to this world, when you can't even bring justice to your own?

Ever since I last left the SSS HQ building, I've seen the truth to you Smash Saviors"

Steele turned and looked at all the SSS members, and the gigantic Dragon Yoshi. Steele looked at Giratina again. Giratina is a gigantic wall... it has enormous health and strong defences. If we can get a Will-o-wisp on Yoshi, we can take it down with ease.... Steele concocted a plan.

Giratina and Steele disappeared instantly simultaneously.

"Shadow Force!" Dobs shouted "Watch out!"

Steele reappeared between Kin and Snake. He had crossed his arms, left palm pointing at Kin, right at Snake. "Lightning Wave!" Steele shot large blasts of dark, purple lightning out of his hands.

Giratina appeared under Yoshi. Yoshi looked down to see two piercing red eyes glaring at him from a dark and sinister portal. Giratina lunged upward, flinging Yoshi up. Yoshi spread his wings and glided back down. Yoshi spat three huge fireballs at Giratina as he was decending. Giratina covered it's head with it's tentacles to protect itself. SHHHSSHAHA! The fire hissed as the Shadow Dragon's mighty tentacles were seringed in the flamed. It flicked back the tentacles to be unharmed.

LGN stood star stroke for moments as calamity spiraled around him, his right arm twitching uncontrollably. The nefarious beings of Hades took advantage of this opportunity and tackled him to the ground. LGN’s eyes were fixed on the commander of the Hellion grunts, as to be his mind, far too busy to note the rushers as his mind flashed images of past memories through his mind. Years ago in what is now a distant but revealing memory, Steele and LGN had been in a situation similar to this, fighting for each other and what they believed in, against the same ghastly beings lacking true order and thought process. The two would always have one another’s back, that’s how they thought it would be, now the two craved to tear open their opposing rival’s back. LGN’s mental state was now shattering, his calm and collectiveness was diminishing; hysteria, vein, and reprisal now took the controls.

H-h-hey....LGN thought, his heart racing and his mind turning into one of a lunatic, there’s my….f-fri-end….I had almost forgotten about….my……..friend...However LGN would not finish his mental sentence. His thoughts now raced to everything that had happened over that seven years, every detail and every color of those past memories that normally would be blurry shone bright. Those very gory and forsaken acts were aided by his friend, his friend did it for pleasure, for greed, and betrayed

LGN let out a small grunt as he shoved the two demons to his left, making way for him to fling himself up. Almost to fast for the eye to spot, LGN yanked out his riffle, flame emitting mod slotted in. Exerting a small, heinous laugh as he unleashed a blinding stripe of flames upon the demons, distorting their bodies and melting their flesh into a black charcoal substance. The demons screeched in pain, attempting to retreat from the teen and his weapon of psychosis, but as they flapped their wings and made a dash for the portal, the flames engulfed them and they fell flat on the ground. Demons apparently didn’t remember the stop-drop-and roll technique. LGN grinned, not due to his miniscule success over the pair of foul beasts, but at the other being he returned his grin with his own; the first time LGN and Steele’s eyes locked in over seven years.

LGN barked over at the Hell bound commander, “You,” LGN violently ripped off his helmet off his skull and held it in his springy arm, semi-wagging the helmet as if it was Steele’s own head. “The traitor returns, I wonder,” LGN spoke in a mocking tone, “why did you leave, Steele? Creed lead you to the SSS, but it apparently was not strong enough to keep you with us,” he concluded, “No matter,” LGN added not letting Steele respond to his question, “I just wanna say if you have the same helmet size, because your head inside of this helm would very nice over the mantel,” LGN smirked, and then wiped out his riffle, switched out the mod for his dastardly flamethrower and imputed a tornado based modification, granting him the ability to launch miniature tornadoes. He bombarded the premise of Steele’s locale with a trio of tornadoes, snatching several demons in its vortex. Steele was dodging the tornados for the most part, frustrating LGN. He wound up his left arm and was about heave his iconic helmet at the diverted Hell Lord, but oddly Dobs grabbed his arm mid throw from out of the blue. Dobs merely swung his head in a sense of resentment, “We got this, go help Snicket,” he said. LGN gazed at Dobs, then toward Steele and his parade of demonic foes, and finally to Snicket. He groaned, but agreed with Master Dobs and wished him the best of luck, now making his way to Snicket to await orders.

Now excused to engage, LGN lusted to demolish Steele, for LGN assumed his inhumane adversary was no match for what he had become. Like a world class sprinter, LGN zipped through the bodies, thus leaping toward Steele after spotting him just staring, as if he was expecting LGN. Almost forgetting, LGN hauled his plasmatic sword from its holster and pointed it straight down at Steele’s heart mid leap. Steele blocked his banzi charge, but LGN was still applying pressure to the block and hectically forcing Steele’s sword out of the way. Steele had to yield ground to LGN, first kicking at LGN’s legs and then retreating back a few paces.

LGN, still in the fixed of an emotional battle, now confronted Steele, lunging again at his opponent, “Self corruption?” LGN remarked, “God man, the entire empire of Crehavos is corrupted!” He affirmed, “You may think that the leaders conspired only amongst themselves, well you are wrong. We never took you guys out of consideration; if one of you were to fall it would make us shudder and wince knowing that we could not protect all of our fellow comrades,” LGN admitted. “That’s how I felt when you and Peram disappeared, truth be told Peram came back, same old same old, but you….you’ve turned into a shadow of yourself, a monster. This new you is a disgrace to humanity all itself, you not only shirked away from the Saviors, but now you are focused in on annihilating our vary alliance that aided you in your growth, I guess you wanted to throw it all away for your self pity and greed.”

Steele repented LGN’s surge and countered with his own, getting right in his face. “Bah, the SSS was a sham,” Steele exclaimed. “I’ve seen the looks the give fellow members, a sense of not desiring for them to even take part in their meaningless crusade.”

LGN rolled backwards and slashed at Steele’s legs. Steele hopped over and then lunged for LGN again, “Oh yeah Steele?” LGN commented, Steele’s blade pushing LGN back against his own rapier. “Well let me refresh your memory, when we were in Subspace who had your back?”

“You,” Steele blurted loudly, trying to focus his will power on knocking LGN off his feet and ready for the takedown.

“Who took your piece of advice into account for the strike force, despite you threatening to kill the man?” LGN continued.

“You,” Steele repeated, he threw a bit more power into his rush and knocked LGN onto his back.

“Who, my former friend, was the selfless do-gooder that sacrificed his own life for yours?” LGN questioned already knowing the answer.

Steele didn’t answer, but his flow and power seemed to have diminished slightly. Taking advantage of Steele’s soft spot, LGN used his metallic and springy replacement arm to grab Steele by the legs. Steele could not break free and violently slashed at LGN’s arm, amazed at the sight of what now take its place and its miraculous strength.

“See this,” LGN barked, gesturing to his left arm that now had been replaced by a cold, hard, but improved shell of his own. “This is but a mere taste of what you, your ruler, and the blasted empire do to people. I know you remember that? But that….that is nothing compared to what scars you have placed throughout the realm!” LGN cried. “I’ve seen thousands, maybe millions or more so die or fall to the slave driven and god forsaken empire. You have taken more lives than one shall ever count, and I’ll give you one, and only one, warning. Leave this place with the beast and your followers back to where you came from, leave us be, or I will show you no mercy the way I did for others!”

Steele stood there trying to shake LGN's arm off his leg. "LGN" Steele replied. "I'm afraid that I can't heed your so called warning. Giratina and I are not here on a leave, we've come here to put a stop to this. Stop this madness of the SSS. What you say is true. In the past you have had my back when I needed it most. In the past you have "sacraficed" yourself to save me, and the SSS. In the past.....I called you friend."

LGN tightened his grip "And what of Geo? You learn some tricks from him and leave him in the dust?"

Steele winced. "Geo was incompetitent. When we were ordered to capture him for the ritual of Urcria's Last, he barely put up a fight" Steele replied. "I'm not one for breaking bonds LGN, but I had to break away. Unfortunatley I cannot break them all. You may hate me, every fiber of my being, but I am fighting a friend...."

LGN whipped his arm upwards, skyrocketing Steele to the skys. Steele and his cape flopped every which way, he must have been moving at great speeds. He regained his composure and spread his wings. He glided back downwards to LGN, who was contracting his arm back. Steele unsheathed his sword, and pointed it at LGN. Steele tucked in his wongs and corkscrewed rapidly.

LGN dashed to the side, avoiding Steele's drill rush. LGN turned to see Steele disappeared. He felt rumbling beneath his feet. BAM! Steele spun out of the ground, spinning right into LGN.

Meanwhile, the Saviors fighting the demons were almost through. They had easilly plowed their way through the small force of the demons. The group had driven the demons into a small group. Suddenly, a demon grabbed Snicket by the leg. "Aaahh!" Snicket jumped back. The demon had his leg blown off by a grenade. Scarlet blood was dripping out from where his leg would be. But still, the demon was alive as ever. He ckucked an axe at the group. They all ducked and surveyed the rest of the fallen demons. Those with limbs were getting up, ready to battle again. Those who lost legs were crawling along the ground. They all started to giggle in a malitious and haunting tone.

The Super Humans, Voltage, and Crush began to conversate on things. Then Genesis thought about telling his secret to Voltage, Crush, and Jonas. "Guys, I think I should let you in on alittle somethin." Jonas replied, "Sure, let's here it." Genesis began talking....

"After I left you guys that day after we abandoned JUSTICE, I was continuing my crimes as Reynal commanded. During another attack I recieved this scar on my left eye from a civilian." Genesis removed his eye patch to let everyone see it."Oh my god that's one serious scar!", Crush yelled. Voltage told her to keep it down and she covered her mouth. "Anyways, during another encounter by an SSS member, I was sadly defeated an taken to them. After I spent a month there, they made me realize that what I've done was wrong....and I agreed with them." Jonas got up and yelled,"So what the hell are you saying, you're actually cool with these idiots?! Genesis nodded his head and then said, "I'm not the only one, Neni's on this too."[/i] Jonas turned to Neni and asked,"Is this...true...Neni?" Neni nodded her head. Jonas was silent for a minute and then replied,"Awesome, and I thought I was the only one with a defect problem. Genesis and Neni was shocked of Jonas's reaction. So after that everyone made an alliance and promised not to mention this to Reynal, Oakley, nor Abdol. Voltage then asked, "So what about what happened while you were unconscious in GreenHell?Genesis replied,"So you knew too, guess I gotta let you guys know as well."

Genesis turned to Neni and asked, "Neni, remember those headaches I was having back at SSS,and that time with Maia in MoonView Mountain?" Neni nodded her head. Genesis continued, "Well, that was the original me...when I was just like Reynal, a killer. Voltage started to look at Genesis with a serious look and Crush gasped. Jonas asked,"So you have a darkside in your mind?" Genesis replied, "Yeah, I call him...Dark Genesis, his mission...regain control of my body and kill." Voltage then said, "Is their anyone in perticular he wants to kill?" Genesis replied,"He wants to kill everyone, but he mostly wants to kill Maia and you...since you guys are the key of my conscious." Voltage replied, "Me...the key of your conscious...but how?" Genesis answered, "I don't know....but that's all I know." Everyone understood his situation and agreed to help him out. Genesis gave thanks.
