In honor of my 666'th post.. I decided we should dissus.. in all of fiction, who is the greatest villain of them all? The one that strikes the most fear in your soul and surprises us all with his ingenuity and might? I'll post my opinion laterz.

hmmm...
Dimentio... nah! How about... Shadow... no, he helps the good guys.
Well this is hard, but Kratos Aurion in a way because knowing Lloyd is his son, he betrays him and makes Lloyd feel super sad when seeing Collette as a puppet and seeing them both in great pain. But Ganondorf may top that because he has betrayed lots but... not his own son.

LOTR Sauron? I don't really know about that one. He did somehow make a presence without actually having one.. but even in the books, he doesn't really feel like he has much of a physical threat. In the end, all he could do is watch his own hopes get dashed. But you also did feel a threat.. his presence in the world was known.. it's a hard one to call. *skipping Giygas* Now.. Sephiroth was another character that has a awesome sense of power. Some people dont' really think.. this is just his INFLUENCE during the entire game. He's so strong that even death couldn't stop his will and power. He summoned Meteor and everything while dead. If that isn't threatening.. I dont' know what is. He still manages to keep his influence alive through Cloud and others.. will he EVER truely go away? hmmm... Well this is hard, but Kratos Aurion in a way because knowing Lloyd is his son, he betrays him and makes Lloyd feel super sad when seeing Collette as a puppet and seeing them both in great pain. Kratos I give a no, he in the end, never TRUELY betrayed them. It was revealed that his actions throughout the entire rest of the game were of aid to the group, he was on both sides throught the game.. helping Mithos and the rest at the same time.. he was more like a double agent more than anything.

Yes, true, but he was still helping the enemy UNTIL the end when Lloyd had to actually beat him, but your right too. That's why I think Ganondorf tops that.

*slaps Angel* Anyway, it's Pokey/Porky. I don't want to spoil the plots of either EB or M3, so I'll PM you if you want my reasoning.

No way, he was collecting things for you to get the ability to create the Eternal Ring the entire time. He made it for you. Did you forget all of that? He was a double agent the whole time. He didn't kill them when he had chances to, and even helped with cryptic clues.

You're telling me you would not feel threatened by that? A powerful being who knew exactly what he was doing, and how much pain his actions would cause.... And who ultimately turned people like this: Into this: ...ranks high in my evil book. He didn't just destroy lives like most villains...he RUINED them. Took happy, innocent, good people: ...twisted their hearts, and turned them into damnable creatures to slaughter and be slaughtered: Only reason why he lost was because he underestimated Hobbits. ONLY REASON. But Satan beats them all because he...actually wins. He intentionally seeks to spread misery and drag the souls of even the elect to his level.

Hmm.. I have to say, I don't think it was in Sauron's plan to ever LOSE the ring in the first place. The ring caused more trouble than he did. This all happened because he died.. which is because he was slain.. by a broken sword.. wielded a single man.. Which is lame. I'm sorry, feeling argumentative, and also.. I said fiction for a reason. RL villians are sadly not very fun to talk about.
