Do you want the most EVIL villain, or the BEST villain? There's a big difference.
Evil: Sauron, Emperor Palpatine, ect. Flat characters, for the most part.
BEST: Ashnard, from Fire Emblem. Does unspeakable and evil things but is willing to die for his beliefs, which were both complex and coolish.

I'm just going to assume you've never played EarthBound before, otherwise you wouldn't have posted that. (I'm just gonna ripoff the EarthBound wiki for this) Giygas, as you probably know, is the main antagonist in Mother and EarthBound. He was raised by a couple named George and Maria. Maria raised Giygas from infancy, but as Giygas grew older, he was tasked by his people to invade Earth, in turn going back on the one he loved most. While held in captivity, George discovered an ability known as PSI, and George retreated back to Earth to study it. I dunno what happens to George, but I assume he is killed during the invasion. At the end of Mother, Giygas is confronted atop Mt. Itoi by Ninten and co., who manage to defeat him by singing a song once known by Maria and Giygas. The song exploits his weakness, which is human emotions. Giygas flees, but promises to return. Sometime before the events of EarthBound, Giygas gains such tremendous power that it completely destroys his entire being, losing any semblence of life. Now wielding vast cosmic power, Giygas becomes a threat to the existence to the universe, and 10 years after the events of EarthBound, Giygas initiates the apocalypse. An alien named Buzz Buzz travels back in time ten years to warn Ness about the upcoming end. Ness is tasked with gaining the Eight Melodies, which form the song that stopped him during his first invasion. Throughout EarthBound, Ness can fight people who are under Giygas' mind control (namely because their appearance is different then that of normal humans), as well as animals, and even inanimate objects. In the final battle of EarthBound, Giygas is held within the Devil's Machine, a device which can hold all his tremendous power. After taking down Pokey, the fat kid shuts it off and frees Giygas, trapping himself and the heroes in eternal darkness. Due to his loss of mind, Giygas isn't aware of himself or what he is doing. He is incapable of thought, and his speech is erratic and mindless. According to the game, we cannot grasp the true form of Giygas' attack. Giygas is utlimately defeated after Paula calls out to the people of earth to pray, which also manages to exploit Giygas' weakness (human emotions). Giygas fades into nothingness, ultimately defeated. Giygas is a rather tragic character in the Mother and EarthBound, as he was FORCED to do something he didn't want to, and had to kill the person he loved most: Maria. Hell, even during EarthBound's final battle, you can hear Giygas saying something like "Let me out" in the background music. It's also interesting to note that during EB's Giygas showdown that he occasionally says "It's not right...not right...", possibly hinting that he does, in fact, have some rationality left to his thoughts. He also occasionally says "...Friends..." after saying the player's name, maybe implying that he doesn't want to attack them, and is only doing it out of defense and not necessarily for victory. So before you go and decide to review a different villain instead of another, at least do some research on them.

I did play Earthbound. Not a fan. How far? I've beaten the game before, and was recently convinced into picking up again to give it another shot by our very own KoD. Still not fan. I would like to not be attacked for this, otay?

OK. It's an opinion. I was just making sure you didn't play the first couple of towns and then quit (because, IMO, the game really shines best after Threed).
