The moments of Ayumi own freedom were short lived. Enough to be confused for a moment about Lynette's intention, still worried for her master.. with just a moment to feel relived once the connection was re-established with her master.
Arietta took a deep sigh when she felt the bit of her spirit essence return, signalling that she had regained the ability to summon Ayumi. She glanced about for anything interesting, but found nothing but trash bins and crates. Not exactly the most effectively things. Arietta thought what she had learned about her enemy, but not much. She wasn't too worried about Knight of Flaming Armor being tethered away from her however, as unlike Ayumi he had no programmed responses to appeal to, and if he fought her with fists she was sure Lynette would lose. If anything it would allow her an increase in strategy. No. This.. Lynette would have to show off more then that.
Arietta had Knight of Flaming Armor trail just behind her with hardly any sort of gap between them, blocking her back side as she walked back closer to her original place on the bridge, away from the direction that Lynette had run. She wasn't particularly interested in pursuing now that her temper had been calm, and the standard battlefield had proved useful thus far. She was getting the impression such an open, but contained fight was counter to this girls strategy. Arietta was not the sort of fool to run into a trap either.

Following interrupted source of energy she was feeling earlier she took a turn down another alley, headed for the street she originally was on. This street was connected to the bridge and their original location. Moments later after arriving, she spotted Arietta walking to her original location. This was an opportunity for a rear attack. Despite her summon being positioned behind her for defensive purposes, it wouldn't protect her from a pinpointed ranged attack. Lynette readied her energy intending to create some sort of weapon but suddenly she felt a disturbance in the area. Something interfering with the energy in the area for a moment then disappearing. Did she desummon Ayumi? Perhaps that why Arietta was walking away so calmly, unlike her temper fueled decisions up to that point. At that moment she stopped creating her weapon. Lynette promised the little one not to kill her master. Once a lady keeps her word, she must honor that commitment.
"Jeez if sister was here she would have have shot right through both of them." Lynette said as she began walking down the street toward the bridge. She made sure to keep lots of distance between her opponents so they wouldn't notice her soft, silent steps. Keeping her hands tied together behind her back, she took this time to gather her thoughts as well as the energy around her. This whole match went off the rails due to Arietta not being straight up with her in the first place. She should have just announced herself as her opponent from the beginning so she could face her properly. However Lynette shared some fault as well, getting some emotions tied to someone else's familiar. That was going to interfere with her decisions later in the match but Lynette accepted that as a decision she made. She created a weakness for herself by caring for something that was obviously a tool for the enemy. Before that summon comes back she needs to take Arietta down and without getting her a fatal wound. Lynette was more than capable of doing that, she just needed to get up close and personally with her. Its time for this match to officially start.

Arietta reached her original starting position and turned around. Her rocky friend was now in front of her, and somewhere even further ahead of her.. wherever Lynette was.
"I know what you told Ayumi." she taunted. "Why not just let the baby be happy and let me kill you now?" she shouted. She mimicked Ayumi's voice, with surprising ability to do so, "You'll make so happy, no more fighting.."
And at this interval, she would have Knight of Flaming Armor send a flaming ball of destruction at one of the randomly simulated buildings, just causing wanton destruction while she was bored. Then, she shouted again.
"Also, you know if you kill me she dies too right?" she shouted once more, snickering. Which was only technically true, but that was the best kind of truth.

"Interesting familiar you created." Lynette stated as she walked within Arietta's line of sight once again. Ignoring the random attack the knight shot off, she focused her attention on her opponent who apparently got her composure together quite nicely. She even mimicked Ayumi's voice which was quite impressive to say the least. That summon is a clever trap that draws on people's emotions. Even if you know it to be a fake you still feel it's effects. If Lynette didn't handle it so well it might have done more damage to this match than she intended. Though it did make her wonder about something.
"It's said that a familiar contains a part of it's master. A soul, a personality or perhaps a connection to a past memory. I wonder what part of you was forged into her. Perhaps a personality trait you felt was unnecessary to accomplish your goals? If that's the case perhaps I should be offering you a hug as well." Lynette said with a confident smile. Her feelings were dispersed and her worries put to rest. She no longer had to worry about Ayumi, she could focus all of her attention on Arietta. If she learned anything from her short time with Ayumi its that Arietta was a ball of emotions rather than a killing machine. She seeks the death of others but for an emotional reason rather than pure pleasure of doing so. If she was a true killer, the severed connection of Ayumi wouldn't have sparked such a violent response. Walking toward her direction, Lynette readied a response to the knight's next attack. Arietta has been on the offensive this entire time and she wasn't going to ease up for any reason. She hasn't shown any other methods of attack either. A fireballs isn't very fearsome for someone like Lynette who can dispel magic and if Arietta learned anything from earlier, she would know that her knight can be severed as well. No reason to act decisively just yet until she reveals some more abilities.
"You don't have to fear death, as this match will end without such a result. Come at me with everything you got but remember my hand is going to come crashing down on your rear when this is over."

...
"S-Shut up!" she squealed, with the same sort of ferocity as she had when she was trying to keep Ayumi from spilling too much, but filled with far more evident embarrassment as she was unable to hold back such a powerful feeling. The poor thing actually flustered, a rare emotion for Arietta. Without even her directing it, just sensing her troubled state the Knight of Flaming Armor sent a fireball directed straight at Lynette.. "Y-You don't know me!"
That being said and believed despite how apparently untrue it was, unfortunately for those in the audience that drew blood.. Lynette had officially become interesting enough that Arietta.. would probably not chuck her off the bridge. Ugh. It was SO hard to admit that. She wouldn't be doing it out loud, that was for sure. She needed to get to know this girl.. even though she was sure it wouldn't be worth the time.
Still.. she wasn't about to send a signal to those watching that she was weak either. She was going to win.. a part of her was legitimately scared this strange and confusing girl was going to actually attempt to spank her too.. which was certainly it's own kind of motivator. She.. would not be able to live that down.

Apparently Lynette struck a nerve somewhere as Arietta seemed to have become riled up again. Her knight responded to her emotions as well, sending an attack directly at her. Unfortunately for Arietta this attack wasn't very accurate. When shooting a large projectile you're suppose to aim slightly slanted, usual toward the direction you believe your opponent would dodge. Straightforward attacks are only good when they are extremely fast or when your target is distracted. Lynette was nether which showed in spades as she geared slightly toward the edge of the bridge and sidestepped the fireball. She still felt some of the heat which irritated some of the exposed skin on her body but no real damage was done. She transformed some of the energy she gathered earlier into a long staff like weapon, with the ends slightly curved on the end. Her walk quickly turned into a dash with her target being the golem. The first thing she needed to do was disable that thing then she could approach Arietta without too much worry.
Despite her new target though she couldn't just let Arietta have a chance to relax when she becoming so flustered. If emotions is what really drive her abilities then Ayumi must be driven by an emotion as well. The giant might represent rage and ambition, Ayumi on the other hand may represent fear and insecurity. Someone attacking Ayumi wouldn't faze her at all since they are attacking an emotion she feels should disappear but severing the connection like Lynette did earlier returns those feelings to her, causing a frantic reaction. Lynette was smiling a bit while she was having these thoughts. She was starting to figure this girl out bit by bit.
"Perhaps we can get to know each other more after this match. You seem to wear your emotions on your sleeve and I just happen to be a tailor." She said with a tiny chuckle. Perhaps Lynette was enjoying this match a little too much.

Arietta was a mass of confusing emotions. The things Lynette were saying.. she didn't like the way they were making her feel. She was getting sloppy. She was making mistakes. She was breathing too quick and feeling a strange sweat on her forehead. She wanted them all to stop. Then.. as if answering her thoughts at once, she felt a warmness in her belly.. as a thought started to creep in her brain. A single thought of purpose. A question whose answer made her eyes grow wide for a moment. 'What reason did she have to be afraid anymore?' (( Mood Musics because I'm super lame )) The sudden realization set that warmness in her soul to a fiery blaze. A confident, blissfully happy smile appeared on her face. She even started to laugh, and it was such a happy one. "Oh Lynette.." she started to say once her momentary giggling had ended.. the feeling becoming movements as she rushed at the girl head on, the Knight of Flaming Armor being able to predict her movements and move in front of her, in unison. A literal extension of herself. As she rushed forward with a cool confidence, stride, and clarity of purpose that was nearly unbecoming to her but one she relished and one that felt so right to her every moment, every intent to close the cap between her and this girl and give her a good, hard, solid, rocky punch. ".. only problem is.. you can't frighten me without the threat of death! Fool! Let's see who is the one getting a spanking now, you disgusting creature!" It was probably the most affectionate way anyone had ever referred to someone as a disgusting creature.

It seems Arietta's confidence returned to her eyes. Her strategy changed from relying on ranged attacks to rushing into a face to face confrontation. This was good as melee range provided the best chance for victory in this fight. Her thoughts now turned to this golem who was advancing toward her. Lynette suspected that this summon can't function independently without Arietta's will. It didn't attempt to talk with her earlier and despite it's recent attack, it seems to react to it's master more like a traditional summon. It wasn't like Ayumi who was capable of mimicking traits of sentient beings. Thus she needed to sever the connection of this one as well. Lynette considered her options as she shrunk her staff down to a tiny handheld rod which she quickly put between her teeth. She gathered a bit of energy in her right hand as continue thinking about possible strategies to take.
If this Golem tried to attack her with his massive hands she could meet his blow with a fully powered dispel. That would completely remove it from the field and she would have a clear shot at Arietta. However there was no evidence stating she couldn't immediately resummon it. In that scenario, Lynette would have to put Arietta down in a single shot or immobilize her. Plus she still didn't know if summoning was all she could do. So many unknowns yet Lynette had to make a decision. She was getting annoyed just thinking about everything. Removing the connection was the best course of action but how to do that while dodging at the same time. That's when it finally hit her. A smile grew across her face as she increased her running speed, switching her focus toward Arietta. Lynette was going to make a gamble and she was hoping its a good one.

"Ayumi!" Arietta suddenly shouted, her summon shifting from the hulking ball of fire to the cowardly girl in a quick flash of brilliant light. Ayumi, the summon was hardly prepared herself for this quick shift in summon, and suddenly finding herself with momentum she didn't expect, she landed flat on her face. Arietta smiled and shouted as she continued to run without her. "Pick yourself back up and stay put!" she said, moving forward.
To be honest, Ayumi was aware of what Arietta was planning. She never liked this part. It was just.. rare to see Arietta charge in like this. Arietta's demonic blood boiling.. her fists aching to take a smack themselves.
And yes. Running was done with, she had closed the gap. Lynette was right there, charging up a spell of some kind. She wasn't afraid though. She had no reason to be. So this done up, teenaged, pigtailed, summoner moved close to Ayumi and literally attempted to grab her. Without any spell, without any enhancement with Ayumi a few feet behind. If she managed to grab a bit of her, sharp nails would instantly start digging into her skin.

"She can switch summons like that? In that case." Lynette's mind instantly thought of a response to the return of Ayumi, molding the stick in her mouth into a ball then shutting it inside. Her hands clasped together as she turned slightly and positioned her feet for a slide. After a few brief seconds Lynette spewed out a stream of water out of her mouth aiming for Arietta's Eyes. She made sure to leave the energy used to create the water thin, so it can easily be formed into another spell later. At the same time Lynette leaned her body to slide right under her feet. Once she got through she switch her target to Ayumi.
Arietta's decision to resummon Ayumi puzzled her a moment. The flaming familiar had more offensive capabilities than her and was an appropriate choice for her situation. So she wondered, what else is this one capable of? Lynette didn't know, but this was an opportunity for her. Ayumi was a summon that needed to be restrained rather than simply severed from her master. A summon that can function independently is always a potential thread. If she could immobilize Ayumi, it would bring this match closer to its end.

Boosh. As the energy was sent towards Arietta's eyes, she would activate Ayumi's primary ability. Arietta was confident of one thing. This girl only thought she knew Ayumi. In the end, she had yet to see this technique. It would only surprise once, but it was tactical and annoying always.
In an instant, Ayumi and Arietta switched positions. The sudden shift in position caused Ayumi to immediately to fall flat on her ass, which, given the timing, Arietta believed she would caused the Summon to fall on top of Lynette. If Ayumi did fall on Lynette's back, the weight would certainly stop her momentum for a moment.
If however Lynette was fast enough to narrowly avoid falling, Arietta still felt she had the upper hand. Now standing where Ayumi was, Arietta continued her burst forward. She figured that the position shift of sliding under someones legs, and then having to pull one's self up, would basically extremely limit Lynette's dodging ability. Arietta thought she had her this time, that she would be able to tackle her and start dealing some "nail" damage.
Although Arietta said no words, there was a smile on her face.. a cocky sort of smile that she couldn't help but feel every time she activated Ayumi's positional switch ability. It always took the enemy by surprise, and left them with a nagging annoyance that threw them off after.
She assumed anyway.
This was kinda her first actual fight.

This was an interesting turn of events, Lynette thought as she quickly returned some of the energy used in the water attack back into it's free form. As Ayumi's body dropped from the sudden shift of position, the energy which hit her eyes would shower her with its magical veil. With a quick snap of her fingers she used the energy to cast Dispel which sent Ayumi back into the magical abyss moment before her body would have landed on her. Using her hand to quickly bounce herself up off the ground, she rose to her feet keeping most of the momentum she originally had. She continued running toward Arietta who looked eager to start a physical fight. It was unfortunate that she had to remove Ayumi from the field rather than restrain her, but it was the best choice in that given situation. Now that she knew what that summon could do, she could anticipate it and continue pressing the offense. However with an ability like that in her opponent's arsenal she couldn't see a quick end to this fight. Honestly Lynette would get really irritated with this fight if she continued using such a ability.

Arietta felt a moment of lingering panic as her layer of defense was once again dispelled. It was however a feeling she was trying to shake. She stopped. She summoned Knight of Flaming Armor between Lynette and herself, standing not but a few inches in front of Arietta.
Fear was no longer relevant, she had no reason to be afraid... this girl was not going to hurt her to the point of killing her. She had made that clear.
Arietta sighed, annoyed at this girl. Apparently dispelling and dodging was all she felt like doing. Arietta was tired of it. She had intended before to make Lynette come to her, it was time to stick to that plan.
She tapped her foot. She placed her hands on her hip. "Come on Lynette, I'm waiting for this spanking you seemed so confident I would be getting. Just a whole lot of running away so far." A slight smirk on her face. She liked to tease people.

"That's my line missy. You rush in and then quickly retreat behind your familiar? Perhaps you aren't as confident as you think." Lynette said as she stopped in her tracks. This match was going no where. Arietta had an guaranteed escape from any attacks that aren't sudden but limited attack options. Lynette had many attack options but no ability to get to her opponent quickly. At their best these they would simply dance around each other until one gets tired or someone takes a risk. As some thoughts rushed through her head she couldn't help but notice that she wasn't preforming very well. She was overthinking her movements and not acting on the fly like she usually does. Against someone like her sister, developing long thought out strategies would be best but against Arietta you simply need to rush her down. She had one idea left. A tactic that may tip the scales of this battle into her favor. She no longer thought about strategy, she only thought about getting right on top of her. She unzip her robe, taking her hand out of her sleeves and tying them around her waist. Only thing she had underneath was a red bra and a necklace around her neck. She was ready to get serious, and this time Arietta won't be getting away.
"You're gonna fire off one of those fireballs aren't you? That's about the only thing you can do. Might as well try it again. Come on." She said will facing her gathering some energy. This next move will not be a pleasant one.

Arietta gave her opponent a cold stare, an angry scowl quickly appearing on her face. Lynette's word were still annoying as hell to her, and completely untrue. Arietta had no idea in what universe someone could talk themselves into seeing this match in the way she had. Arietta had attacked many times, Arietta just hadn't been stupid enough to stick around to get hit. The difference between the two was leagues wide!
"Nah." she said. To be honest, she was a bit worried about it. She hated Lynette's words again. Her mind wasn't sure if she was trying to bait her into using a move, or if Lynette was counting on the fact that Arietta would feel baited and her words were nothing more then a cheap ploy to keep her from using one of her fireballs..
So the only answer was to completely ignore them. Knight of Flaming Armor looked ready to spring into action because Arietta wanted to punch with him, not use a fireball. That was the reason she was not using a fireball right now. Nothing to do with what Lynette was talking about at all! Knight of Flaming Armor was waiting for Lynette to get close to take his powerful swings, but as soon as he could he would!
