Oh yeah, the endless debate. It's time to restart it. Because justice must be served. Also, I don't care if this has been posted before. AGAIN! AGAIN!Like most aspects of life, the answer I believe can be found in loli's. Taking the concept of loli and applying it to this debate, Angel begins her search for noteworthy pirate loli's or ninja loli's. I started with ninja's, and even a few searches didn't come up with much.. which is a shame. I can't believe that no one has matched these two wonderful things.. so I will keep looking. But. I didn't even have to think of a noteworthy pirate. Patty Fluer from Tales of Vesperia! Oh yes, how much love! So as for now, loli's have in my eyes solved one of life's many debates. But you'll have opinions.. so make them. Now. =o  |

 What is this nonsense I hear about pirates being better than ninjas? We are disciplined. skillful, loyal to our clan and kill those that ruin our way of life. Your mere lust for gold and adventure is meaningless. You pirates are nothing but a foolish group of outdated wurms living life without honor, meaning or purpose. Without honor, you're not even fit to die by our swords. |

The movie ninja assassin contradicts stars comments about ninjas being loyal to their clan. But then again, they do have more hygene than pirates, or at least the pirates that I think of(the ones of the carribean). Ninjas are very fast and stealthy but aren't very strong without their blade while Pirates are powerful with their guns and pirates swords. Guns are the most effective against ninjas giving the pirates a range boost and not having to go into 1 on 1 combat. I think ninjas are cooler but Pirates are stronger. And it would be epically funny if a ninja walked the plank too.

Guns > Swords How many ninjas do you know of with talking parrots, eyepatchyes, peg legs (let's see a ninja get by wit that), and says "argh" in all their sentences? None, all they do is kill people like Ryu, and he's not very good at it considering that random baddie #8,000 is pretty inept at kicking his butt, or killing his camera man.  Do ninjas have theme songs? I didn't think so. |

Pirates:
Maybe not trained per se, but completely accustomed to fighting anyone and everyone that comes their way as well as their fellows. Carry guns, swords, and god knows what else. Known for fighting endlessly, ruthlessly, and by any means necessary. There is no code of ethics amongst pirates, and if they must cheat to win then they will.
Ninjas:
typically untrained peasants with a couple of tricks up their sleeves and very little by way of actual combat, preferring to instead skulk about in the shadows and kill their opponents by taking them completely by surprise. If discovered they would flee without exception. Used to fighting many foes at once, the Ninja are not trained to kill if engaged in combat, but instead to trick or avoid the opponent then run from them.
1-on-1, I'd say the pirate has the advantage.
