Because a character who didn't even have a role in the game in the 360 version is more notable than a pair of characters who count as main characters and playable in multiple appearances. |

When I say noteworthy, I'm talking about even being slightly.. well.. interesting. Ashley is the most popular female of the series, for sure.. especially in Japan (trust me, I know) and she's the only real interesting character in the series anyway. The characters in the WarioWare series are kinda bland and cardboard cutout. I'm talking about noteworthy as a character.. not noteworthy as a role or history. Anyway Ashley could kick their tushies. (Mentions of Ashley are meant simply to show that the ninja girls are not noteworthy. Please don't take this as me trying to insert a witch into the conversation. That means you KoD.  ) |

Well lets see here...
Pirates have shotguns and pistols and stuff, but they wear heavy shit and aren't very hygenic. They do have a boat with cannons though and a huge crew.
Ninjas are stealthy mofos and do have ranged weapons as well, shuriken and kunai. If a ninja gets on a pirate ship unnoticed he may be able to take them all out, but that's doubtful, unless he's Ryu of course.
