Chapter 3: Smashbro, Dervish and Dobs

[Dobs]

{Dragon Roost}

Dobs and smashbro continued to hike up Dragon Roost's tall mountain. It was getting extremely late, and the two could hardly see in front of their noses.

Dobs: We have to keep going, we're getting close i can feel it.

Unbeknownst to Dobs and smashbro, there was in fact a battle going on at the top of the mountain, between the army, and a strong malevolent force...

[smashbro]

as smashbro and Dobs continued, they started to hear fighting.
"Maybe you weren't imagining things Dobs..." smashbro said, as he dropped to the ground. Dobs followed suit catching on. They did not want to be seen by whoever was fighting farther up the hill.
"Lets crawl up further, then we can peek over the rocks, and see whos fighting." Smashbro said. The two inched their way up the volcano's side, and when they were closer to the summit, they stopped.
"Dobs, peek over and see whats going on up there." smashbro said

[Dobs]

{Dragon Roost Peak}

Dobs peeked over the rocks to see what was going on. He saw magmar fending off a couple of subspace goons... with some help. Magmar and Dervish were fighting back to back destroying a group of primids that was attacking them.

Dervish: You people never give up, do you? Dumb a**es.

Derish unleashed a blast of coldfire at the group of primids, who stood no chance. Magmar was also holding his own.

Dobs: C'mon smashbro, lets go help!
Smashbro: Help Dervish?
Dobs: I know he isn't exactly on our side, but we have a common enemy right now, besides, we need to get magmar. Lets Go!
Smashbro: You're right.

Dobs dashed into the fray and smashbro followed.

smashbro and DObs prepared to fight, then ran to join the fight. Everyone was suprised to see the two newcomers, and most of them stopped fighting for a minute. This was everyone but Magmar, who took the opportunity to take out a few more of the army. But, just then, more of the subspace birds flew in, each carrying another minion.
"I guess we have our fight cut out for us." smashbro said. then he turned to Dervish. "we still have a truce, right?" Dervish did not respond, but he did not make anymove to attack Dobs or Smashbro, so they took it as a yes. and so the four fought the army.

[Dobs]

{Dragon Roost Peak}

The group stood back to back in a circle as they wer surrounded by the army. They began to beat down enemies as they approached in unison. Then Dervish flew up unleashing a storm of pistolfire, Magmar and Smashbro began to move to opposite sides of the peak and Dobs remained in the middle.

Dobs Stuck his staff into the floor, and began to swing around it, landing kicks to each subpace member he saw. The only enemy that remained was the leader, a huge greap.

The Greap charged at smashbro who quickly did an energy uppercut. From the air, Dervish shot the greap with a blast of coldfire towards Dobs. Dobs withdrew his staff and swung with all his might, sending the Greap flying towards the edge of the cliff. Just as the greap was falling Magmar hit it with flamethrower in mid-air. The greap tumbled down the side of Dragon Roost's huge mountain, ignited.

Dobs: Well he won't be coming back any time soon.

Then a figure broke out of the window of the nearby building and landed next to the group. It was Komali's Father.

King Ruto: THank you so much brave travelers. You have Destroyed the subspace threat on Dragon Roost. I finally escaped the room i was contained in when the army came out here to fight you. Now that peace is restored to Dragon Roost, i beleive that Valoo will return to her home soon. To whom do i owe the pleasure.

Smashbro: Well i'm smasbro.
Dobs: I'm Dobs, this is magmar, and we're friend's of Links. *Dervish says nothing*

(Komali's father was never given a name, youre fine)

"Well, I would like you to all come down to the main room for a celebration. It is not everyday our people are saved." The King then flew down. The others started to walk down the path. Smashbro had magically changed his costume to his sweatshirt, long jeans, and, of course, beanie.
"How'd you do that?" Dobs asked.
"I dont know..." smashbro said. "i just felt like i wanted to wear it..." then Dervish took smashbro's beanie.
"Hey! Give it back!" smashbro said, trying to jump as high as where Dervish floated. Dervish started laughing. Then he seemed to have an idea. He floated off the cliff, and put his arm out.
"No." smashbro said. But Dervish did. he dropped it off the cliff, and it fell down to the ocean.
"I'll meet you down there." smashbro told Dobs, then glared at Dervish. Before someone stopped him, Smashbro jumped off the cliff, and got his beanie. They later met at the meeting room.

Off far in a different world where animals rome around with human characteristics a battle was being fought between an evil ruler named Lord Onset and a hero named Speed the Cheetah. Speed was on the ground while the evil dragon Onset stood there with a Power Gem,"Mwa, ha, ha, ha! At long last! I have won! But since you dodge every attack I try to put on you, I have something in store for you."
A huge machine rised from the ground with 3 of the Power Gems in it. Onset grabbed a switch saying,"Now all I have to do is press this little button and you are gone." Speed got up,"Yeah, if you can press it before I grab it." Lord Onset looked with fright then shouted,"Warp this pest to a far far away land!" Just then the button was gone, but Speed was right behind Onset holding the button. Speed laughed,"Heh, heh, heh... You lose... again." The dragon swung his tail strait to Speed, but Speed dodged it causing the tail to destroy the machine. The Power Gems bursted a flash that caused Speed to disapear.

When Sspeed reappeared, he landed right on top of Smashbro. Speed jumped off,"Woah, my bad... hey, aren't you Smashbro?! W-where am I?"

[Dobs]

{Dragon Roost}

Dobs and Dervish continued to walk toward the meeting room.

Dobs: I have to admit, beeing evil is fun. But do you have to do it all the time.
Dervish: Its what i do. Deal.
Dobs: I respect that.

Dobs and Dervish met up with Dervish in the meeting room, but he had complany.

Dobs: Hey smashbro and..............blue cheetah?

Speed looked at the two,"Heh, heh. You two look suprised." Speed turned his back to them saying,"Y'know, I actually didn't choose to come here, and if you really wanna' know, a dragon named Onset used Power Gems that accidently warped me here. So uuh... would anyone mind telling me just exactly where's the exit? It's not like you guys need me... unless... how about I hang out with you guys since I have no choice really, and what are we up to anyways?" Speed turned back around,"But I like to move fast, so if you guys wanna' ride somewhere I can help."
Speed shook both their hands,"As your friend Smashbro. already knows... call me Speed, Speed the Cheetah."

[Dobs]

{Dragon Roost}

Dobs: Hey Speed. Smashbro and i are members of the SSS the super smash saviors. Dervish isn't exactly our friend but we're kinda stuck together. We were ata meeting called by sakurai at the dojo when we were attacked by the subspace army and scattered across the universe. The three of us met up and are on the way back to the dojo now.
Dervish: Great, another freak i'm stuck with...

The party walked into the meeting room and was greeted by pretty much the entire ruto tribe. Prince Komali stepped out from the crowd.

Komoli: You saved dragon Roost! How can i ever repay you?
Dobs: It was nothing really, i was just getting my magmar.
Komali: Here, take this seachart, it will help you guys find your way back to the dojo.
Dervish: Sea chart with no ship, really useful.....tard.
Komoli: That is why, on behalf of the Ruto tribe, we are granting you our greatest vessel. It runs on an engine and is much faster than sailing. You should be able to reach the dojo by nightfall.
Dobs: Thanks a lot... i hate the water.....its EVIL, ill be glad to finally be on dry land again.

Smashbro: All right guys, lets head out to the dojo.
Dervish: don't tell me what to do.
Smashbro: THen stay on this island with no way off or direction to go.
Dervish: I didn't say i wasn't coming, i just told you not to tell me to.
Dobs: *to ruto tribe*Bye everyone, thanks for everything.
Speed: I'll help you guys out, but can you get me home afterwards?
Smashbro: Sure, the SSS HQ has a portal room, theres bound to be one leading to youre homeworld.

the group set sail for the dojo.

As they get in the Ruto's engine boat Speed quickly leaped in, "C'mon, let's go!" Dervish was last to go in. Speed asked him,"Hey buddy. Why dont you act a little more excited? You remind me of someone back home that hates me." Dervish just walked past. While they travel through the sea Dobs and Smashbro. explain the adventure to Speed. Moments later Smashbro. looked at Speed sitting bored and asked,"What's the matter?" Speed got up,"Well this thing is too slow. I wish there were some way I can speed this up."

[Dervish]

OOC: thanks for including me in the rp. sry i wasnt on but my internet completely crapped out i hate it!! and you guys did great with controling my character. you even thoguht of somethings i never woul have... lol.

Dervish was standing on the bow (front in normal language) of the boat looking out into the water. dervish loved the water. he sailed alot and raced and was the frst place almost everytime (actually true). he closed his eyes and felt the breeze in his face.... he looked back at the others.. didnt say anything just looked. he looked back into the front again and sat dwon looking into the horizon.
