Chapter 3: Smashbro, Dervish and Dobs

[Dobs]

{Outset}

Aryll: GRANDMA!!! THERES A STRANGE MAN SLEEPING IN MY ROOM!!!1

Dobs woke up slightly confused, he took a few moments to remember where he was.

Dobs: No no no! Im a friend of Links!
Grandma: Youve seen link? is he ok?
Dobs:*quickly*Yea Yea hes fine
Grandma: You dont soud too concerned for his safety, My grandson is too good for you, get out!
Dobs: but-
Grandma: OUT!
Aryll: Sorry, shes a little crazy.
Dobs: REALLY!?

Dobs steped outside and began walking around the island, looking for a place where his smash orb/phone would get service. It kept reading "out of range".

Dobs: How freakin far out in the middle of nowhere did that portal take me that a magical orb cant get service?

Dobs looked up to the top of a large hill in the center of the island, wondering if he could get service from there. He saw something he did not expect, subspace goons running down the hill.

Dobs: Magmar, help me out!
Magmar: Magmar mag! (No Problem)
Dobs: ATTENTION! YOU ARE ALL UNDER ATTACK BY THE SUBSPACE ARMY! STAY INSIDE! IF ANY OF YOU COULD CONTACT LINK, I COULD USE SOME HELP HERE!

The army began to run down the hill towards the town and Dobs.

[Dervish]

dervish was still attacking the people. he had been fighting for hours and they wouldnt stop coming. even thoguh he had been fighting for hours he hadnt a speck of dust on him or and damage. he was way more powerful than these people.dervish finally let out a groan.
"i am bored of these people." dervish said
after he said this he waved his hand and a giant rock wall sprouted out of the ground and blocked the attackers. dervish started to fly away but there was one problem... he didnt know where to go! he still didnt know how to get home. so he flew back to the rock wall and sat on top of it where they could hit him. he chot ice and fire at the people one by one slowly, thinking on how to get out.

[Dobs]

{Outset Battle}

Dobs: Has anyone called Link?
Aryll: He's on his way!

Dobs looked over the horizon and saw the sail of a small red boat. It was link.

Dobs: Magmar, we've got a few hours until Link shows up, so we'll have to fend for ourselves until then, alright buddy?
Magmar: Mag magmar magmar (Right! I got youre back)

Dobs looked over to his enemy, standing in the sunrise atop the hill. The army was being led by a huge shaydas, and it began to charge forwards. A group of three roaders (motorcycle dudes) charged out of the pack quickly towards magmar and Dobs. Magmar used fire punch and took one out immedietly. Dobs timed a jump to land on a roader's back and rode it into the army, slashing at huge numbers of enemies as he passed them. Magmar was left to fight the final roader, which was a little too fast for him. Dobs saw this and rode back towards magmar, jumped off of his roader which hit into the other with a massive explosion.

Magmar: Mag (thanks)
Dobs: Dont mention it. Lets go!

Dobs looks over his shoulder for link who is still quite far away. The two charge into the remaining group of primids and began to fend them off back to back. Magmar let a blast of fire out, lighting up half of the army.

Dobs: YOU LEARNED FLAMETHROWER! GREAT JOB! KEEP USING IT!

Then the shaydas in charge tackled Dobs into a seperate area of the battlefeild. Dobs began fighting his hardest to get back to magmar, but his sais simply passed through the enemy after every strike. Dobs was struck back several feet when he noticed a pink ord in its chest. He exploited the weakness and threw a storm of shurikans into it. The shaydas discintegrated in the rising sun.

Dobs: Good Riddance. MAGMAR!

He looked over to find that Magmar had been kidnapped by an auroros.

Link: Need help?

Dobs didnt answer with a witty remark, he simply walked away.

[smashbro]

Smashbro and Pit entered the city...it was overrun by the army.
"Ill take the north part of town, you take the south," said Pit. They headed off in different directions. Smashbro headed south, and found a group of angels like pit, hiding in a corner.
"Are you ok?" asked smashbro.
"Yeah...but we're new...and the roaders almost killed us." said one.
"You'll be ok...have you had any training? know how to use a bow?" smashbro questioned.
"Yeah...why?" another asked.
"even if you are far away, you can still hit them with your arrows. If you could do that, it would help us, but if not, ill get you out."
"We...We'll help."
"Ok..so just aim...and fire!" a few hits. then smashbro ran to fight with his sword.

_{"What are you guys doing, the roaders were not supposed to be here?!?" Pit said} The minion didn't say anything, and Pit destroyed it. Pit fought the rest of the monsters, and easily gained the advantage.

[Dobs]

Dobs: You got here just in time for my magmar to get kidnapped by a freakish rainbow bird.
Link: Sorry, the wind can only carry me here so quickly.
Dobs: have you ever considered investing in a motor?
Link:Wha-? do you want help saving magmar or dont you?
Dobs: I'm listening........._skank
Link: What?
Dobs: Nothing......_slut
Link:Whatever, there's triforce shard hidden in a cave on this island, with its power we can find magmar and save him.right after i use it to stop ganon. i still need his help though
Dobs:......ok....so i just help you get the shard, and you help me get magmar? whats in for you?hes planning something
Link:Nothing, i cant be a good person.hes onto me

The pair set off into the cave to look for the shard together.

[smashbro]

Smashbro and Pit won...the army was driven out...all was peaceful again. Pit led Smashbro to the portal. Smashbro saw the Dojo, now under control of the Subspace Army. he desparately wanted to go to the Dojo and save it now, but he knew he needed help.
"Pit. I need you to go to the SSS HQ. Me and the other forumers are going to find all the help we can get, and from there, we'll plan our attack."
Then, smashbro saw another place. A place with an item that could help them save the Dojo. he needed to get it. Smashbro stepped through the portal.

Smashbro's hand was gripping a rope.
"Yo, ho, yo, ho. A pirate's life for me."

[Dervish]

dervish was still sitting on the wall killing people but he got bored. he got up let out a couple more blasts then left. he started to glide towards the house. he went in from a window. he wandered around looking at all the art.... paintings.....statues......evil minions...wait what was that last one?!?!?!?! dervish looked just in time before he was about to get attacked. he blocked most of the kicks and punches but took one hard one right to the side. he dgave a small grunt and was sent flying. he stopped himself in mid air and looked at the minion that kicked him and said... his voice full of evil "thats gunna cost ya!!!!" he ran at top speed at the opne. he got to him... stuck his hand into its chest.. and ripped out its heart...still beating... he threw it aside and looked at the others and yelled" come and get some!!!!!!" they all ran at him. he dodged most of the aattacks but he still got hit with some small attacks... they didnt bother him.... then they started to get stronger and he could beat them as easily. he got becked into a crner when he remembered something "eevee!! abra!! come out!!" the two came out infrotn of him and looked at him. he said to them "i knwo its bad timing to finaly get you out of your balls but i need your help.... now attack with everything youve got!!!!!" after he said that the three ofg them ran towards the minions attacking with full force...........

[Dobs]

{Outset}

Link led Dobs to the cave where the shard was supposed to be hidded.

Link: ARe you sure you want to go in?
Dobs: Why wouldnt i be sure, ive got to get magmar.
Link: Alright lets go, no turning back
Dobs: Right.

They walked intot he cave and looked for some wort of secret passage, for it was mostly empty. They found what they were looking for, a secret stairwell. They descended for at least ten stories and fially came to a room with many collums in a circle. THey walked into the room and marvelled at its beuty, when three huge, armored, sword weilding monsters appeared.

Link: THis is it, you ready?
Dobs: Im always ready for a good fight.

Link rolled around one monster and in hingede much of its armor. He continued this process untill the enemy was open for attack, and then link did a massive spin attack and took him down. Dobs learned from link and led his adversary to a wall. Dobs ran up the wall, flipped onto the creature's back and ripped off its helmet. Dobs then delivered the final blow with his sais.

Link: You're pretty good!
Dobs: You're not so bad yourself.

They turned their attention to the final enemy. Link attacked it furiously from the front, giving it time to do nothing but defend itself against the blows. Dobs snuck around to the back and prepared for attack. He jumped up, kicked off of a pillar and landed a massive blow to the swordsman's skull with his staff and he was out cold. The two walked into an illuminated room in far end of the room and there lied a chest.

Dobs: Well, arent you gonna open it?
Link:Um..... no
Dobs: Isnt that what you do? You beat down monsters, solve puzzles, and then YOU OPEN CHESTS!
Link: Yea, i forgot to mention, we still need to find the key....
Dobs: KEY!?!? YOU ARE SUCH A BAG OF nice person!
Link: CHilll.... my...er...friend Tetra is on her way to Outset with the key, so we just have to wait for her.
Dobs: Fine, then we can save magmar.
Link:Right.

The two climbed the stairs of the cave and emerged with the chest. THey took it to the beach, sat and waited. Eventually they saw the sails of a pirate ship coming over the horizon...

(some time before Dobs' previous post)
“Who goes there?” one of the pirates came on deck.
“I’m a friend. You’re one of Tetra’s pirates right?” smashbro asked.
“Yes, you’ve heard of us?...anyways, you need to talk to our captain before we allow you to stay.” They went to Tetra’s cabin.
“Miss Tetra, we may have a stowaway.”
“I’m smashbro,” said smashbro, putting his hand out for her to shake.
“If he’s a stowaway, hes not a very good one. Tell ya what. We’ll have a swordfight.” They set up to fight on deck.
“I have to warn you, im good with a sword.” Smashbro said.
“you have one?” Tetra asked.
“Yep.” He took out his energy sword.
“un…deux…trios…allez!” said a crew member. It was over in less then 10 seconds. Smashbro won. The crew gasped.
‘What do you want?” asked Tetra, defeated.
“I want you to bring me to outset island…” said smashbro.
“Good, we were going there anyways.” Tetra said.
“And I want you to give me the key to a chest on outset island.” Smashbro continued.
“I have no such thing.” And Tetra left.

That night, Outset island came into view of the ship. The pirates wanted to have party. Tetra reluctantly agreed. She went below deck to talk to smashbro.
“You coming?” she asked.
“No, I need to get some rest…and sorry about beating you, I just wanted to help save the Dojo. You must have heard of it. The item in the chest would help me do that.” Smashbro replied.
“Oh…ok…bye then.” Tetra left. Smashbro rested. When smashbro got up, it was almost dawn, but still dark out. The pirates were still partying. He went into Tetra’s room. Just as he suspected, the key was under Tetra’s pillow. “Sorry…,” smashbro said, and he left the empty room. He found a porthole to slip out of, and swam to shore.

Dobs:Soo....link....
Link: ......so....
Dobs:This is kinda awkward.....what do you want to takl about?
Link:.............yeaa....
Dobs:sorry i called you a bag of....nice person, before, it was uncalled for.....
Link:......watever.....np
Dobs: Boats move really slowly here, don't they?
Link:.........yup
Dobs:........so........you and Tetra?
Link: .......not so much
Dobs:........k

“Wow…the chest.” Dobs said.
“But I need the key to open it.” Link said.
“You need the key? I need to save Magmar.” Dobs replied.
“Well I need to save this world.” Link said taking out his sword.
“You know, I never trusted you.” Said Dobs, taking out a sword of his own.
“With good reason!” Smashbro appeared on the island, dripping wet. There was a pause. “Dang it, I wish Jordan was here to run into my arms like Elizabeth did when Will…nevermind. Point is, I’ve been listening to you talk to yourself through the pirate’s stone link. You want it for yourself, and was going to take it from Dobs. Well I need it for the Dojo,” said smashbro as he went to open the chest.

“I can’t let you do that…” Dobs said, smiling and threatening smashbro with his sword.
Smashbro got up, with the key, smiling. “You know we’re about to rip off a great movie, right?” smashbro asked.
“That we are, but it fits. And Smashbro, just so you know, I’m rooting for you." The key dropped, but no one would go for it, in fear of being quickly sliced by a sword. Then Aryll came out.
“Brother? What’s going on?” she asked. Smashbro and Link looked. Dobs got the key and ran. Link realized this, and was about to run when smashbro turned around. Link kicked sand into smashbro’s face.
“By your leave, smashbro," Link said as he ran after Dobs. Smashbro got up and followed.

“He took it!” Tetra yelled. “Get the chest and key and get it to me!” Tetra said, and the pirates went ashore. Two pirates stood and watched the 3 fighting.
“What happened here? Aren’t they all on the same side?” one pirate asked.
“Well, each person wants the shard for his own benefit. Link is trying to be all noble and save everyone in the Great Sea, Smashbro needs it to beat some enemy at a weird place called the Dojo, and Dobs wants it to save his somewhat strange half duck fire thing, Magmar.”

A pirate ship with the subspace army appeared. A roader was the captain. “Go and get the chest. If three heroes are fighting over it, it must be important.” He said.
“Why aren’t you going?” one minion asked.
“I’m a roader, I cant swim! Whoever made me captain of this boat was an idiot…” Then Tetra’s ship started firing cannonballs at them. “Return fire!”

Smashbro, Dobs, and Link jumped on top of buildings, and continued to fight. Link and Dobs had forgotten about smashbro, since he was farther behind. Smashbro came around the roof of one building, grabbed the key, and started to run up the hill.
“By your leave, Link!” he yelled back. Then smashbro was tripped by Link’s boomerang, and he dropped the key. Dobs ran and got it, continuing up the hill. They continued up the hill, and before they got to the bridge, Link and smashbro backed Dobs up to a cliff.
“Please excuse me while I kill the man who almost stopped me from saving the world.” Said Link.
“Ah! But who really is stopping you? All I want to do is save my friend. I would have only used it to get Magmar, and give it back. But smashbro here, he stole the key from your girl over there, and would have brought it to a completely different world. So really, he’s the one at fault.” Dobs said. Link slashed at Dobs as he backflipped off the cliff and landed on a building.
“Unfortunately for you, smashbro, hes right!” Link said and slashed at smashbro.

“Still rooting for you, Smashy!” Dobs called back, walking to the chest. Smashbro and Link fought each other all the way to the middle of the bridge. Then Link thrusted his sword at smashbro, and smashbro fell off. Links momentum made him fall off the bridge too. They both landed on separate rocks though, and saw Dobs walking toward the chest. All three ran to it. Then, members of the subspace army came ashore. Smashbro took charge.
“Dobs, you take the ones on the right, Link, the left, I’ll take the center ones. They took down the enemy easily. They all realized something.
“This is stupid,” smashbro said. “Link, you need the triforce peace to save the Great Sea. Dobs, I’ll help you find Magmar, and then we’ll save the Dojo on our own.” Everybody shook hands, and Tetra came on shore.
“We destroyed their ship.” Tetra said. “Oh, you have the chest?” she asked link. “I guess we could let you keep it.” Then, Link and Tetra sailed off in their own directions.
“Well, I guess that’s it. So where do you think Magmar is?” smashbro asked.

[Dobs]

{Outset}

Link: Alright, Tetra and I have go to go to gannon. Dobs, as for your magmar, i beleive i saw a small subspace hq atop Dragon Roost Island on my way here. I would bet anything that he is there.
Dobs: Alright, thanks a lot. And link, i guess......your note a complete waste of life.
Link:....er...thanks, you too.

Link, Dobs, Smashbro, and Tetra set sail. After a relatively short journey, they arrived at dragon roost, said ther goodbyes and left. Dobs and smashbro heard a noise from the top of the mountain.

Dobs: Was that.....gunfire?......it makes no sense.

[smashbro]

Dobs and Smashbro started to climb up the mountain, to try and fing the Rito, a tribe that was supposed to be living there. The Rito had wings and therefore could fly. Smashbro and dobs reached the main room of where the Rito lived, and were met by none other than Pirince Komali.
"Who are you two?" he asked as the strange people walked in.
"Im smashbro, and this is Dobs." said smashbro. "We're friends of Link."
"I remember Link!" said Komali. "He helped save Valoo! Well, since you're here, do you mind if you can help us find out whats going on atop the muntain? I have not seen Valoo, the dragon, since the building appeared on top of the mountain. and my father has not returned from investigating it. Please, we need your help."

[Dobs]

{Dragon Roost}

Dobs: We would be glad to help, but thats not the reason we're here. Have you seen a strange looking bird flying a magmar to this building?
Komali: Yes, i beleive i have, the bird seemed to have burst into flames just as it reached the mountains peak.
Dobs: Thatta boy magamar. Alright, we will go investigate what is going on at this new building, and we will find magmar and your father.
Komali: On behalf of the Ruto tribe, i thank you both.

Dobs and smashbro left the main room of the rito tribe and began to scale the island large mountain. Again, Dobs heard very faint gunfire.

Dobs: smashbro, did you hear that?
Smashbro shook his head, looking confused.
Dobs: hes gonna be fine, your just imagining things

[smashbro]

"Dang this place is hot." smashbro said, as they entered another lava filled room. He didn't like it to be too hot.
"This is a volcano...you want to go back? I can take it from here." Dobs said.
"No...I'm fine, lets keep moving." Smashbro said. I cant go back, I'd look like a wuss. Crap I hate ths freakin heat. I wonder how Dobs can stand it. I hate it in the summer when it gets to be near 100. I just gotta toughen up. They then found a was out of the volcano.
"Hey, I think I remember this." smashbro said. "This is where Link went out to find Meldi. I think we're getting closer."
"Great, I hope Magmar is still ok." Dobs said.
"I wonder what happened to Plsule and Buddy." Smashbro said, thinking of his own pokemon.
"I think they're gonna be fine, they're tough." Dobs replied.
"Man, what i wouldnt give to be at a remote island with plam trees and a beach right now..." smashbro said.
