"Ah. Here we are."
Henry stooped and lifted his name tag off the ground, brushing bits of debris away as he slipped it back in his pocket, deeper this time to make sure it wouldn't fly out so easily. With that done he turned to face the new person, the one he didn't recognize, and only then did his words take on any meaning.
People of the smash bros fansite, he said? So these are all...
The persona of Serras melted, leaving only Henry to feel the soft pang of regret for deceiving those who had been so good to him, but he refused to allow such a thing to tip his hand enough as to allow his name to actually be placed upon his armor. They may even know who he was, it wasn't a secret that he was a fan of Roy after all.
But any edge was better than none, so Henry put his mask back on, and Kai leaned himself against the counter he had peeled himself off of in a calmed manner, but neither said a word.

Kevin smiled at Angel after she heard him speak. it seemed as if she was the only one who acknowledged him for speaking. Just like life back home. Kevin thought. Only one or two people listen, usually girls, and nothing is done...
It was then the explosion came, and Aran was thrown away from the group. As soon as he could, he got onto all fours and looked around. He picked up the navy helmet and put it on again, making sure that the orange hairs stuck out from it in front of his eye. It didn't impair his vision much if any, just he thought it looked better.
He then reached for his lance. It looked like Iron, but he wasn't sure. It would make sense though, that his original item would be the weakest of its kind.
Everyone seemed to be getting up and talking to some stranger, who apparently made the explosion happen. He was giving some reason...but Kevin wouldn't be satisfied with anything that b**** had to say. Most people were getting up and talking to him.
But then he noticed Kune still lying on the ground. He rushed over to the unmoving body of Zelda. He took out a vulnerary, and trying to shake her awake. "Kune...Kuney...wake up, come on...Here, take this...Wait, how do they even use these vulneraries..." thinking of nothing else, he tried opening it, and there were some flasks, some for rubbing, some for drinking. So he opened her mouth and tried pouring some down it. "whatever...just wake up..."
OOC: not sure on the new rules of censor dodging but if I did something wrong for the swear just tell me and I'll change it.

Sharpay was blown off her chair to the floor. "What just happened?" she thought. She could hardly breathe due to the debris in the air. As she looked at everyone else in the room; they were covered in dust and she also noticed that she was covered in dust.
As the room got clear Sharpay stood up and brushed the dust off of her and she saw a man in the room and heard his introduction. Then people were asking him questions and she finally asked Jade, "Will explosions keep happening?"

Jade looked at the dust covered princess and smiled. "No. Of course not. She's gone I'm afraid.." he said, though.. wasn't that a good thing Angel though softly... "One of the things that could be said about her is she's sensitive and easily scared off.. even with her power. She probably will avoid this place for a while, and by the time she get's the courage to come back here.. you'll probably be gone."
Angel nodded.. and frowned a bit. She wondered what the white cloaked woman had wanted. She felt a bit sad that she was the only one who had seen her.. and it made her think the others might doubt her existence. She was glad that Jade was here, and remembering him from her games really made her smile. She always really liked him and it was a treat to see him here. She stood up, starting to notice her aches and pains from the sudden blast. It was so strange to be in this body.. it hurt just as much as her old one. but it definitely felt so.. different and.. familiar at the same time. She imagined being like this for so long and it really was true. Even if they were in trouble and in danger.. she was a girl now, and she still was so happy that it could be true. Sure, she would have loved to be a little Colette and grow up to a bigger one.. but in this world, maybe it was possible? She kinda hoped so.
Looking around, she was sad to see her friends, especially kunekune in obvious pain. She looked up at Jade and asked the question that he had been waiting for someone to ask him, "What do you want us to do.. and why?". He frowned again though, and spoke.. "Gentle girl, I was afraid you might ask that. Because our intelligence says you'll be the one least happy about the proposal. We want you to work on getting out of this land as fast as possible. Back to reality.. back to the land you came from.. and we want you to take the woman that burst in here with you.. where she originally came from. Since she arrived, she was corrupted by weakness after she found out how to gain tremendous power and has been using it and playing god. Please take her where she can no longer harm or threaten our world like her own plaything." he said, bowing a bit.. trying to show some respect. "We brought you here because in these bodies because, despite your ordinariness.. your just the people that can do this. We changed fate by bringing you here, and now all our hopes are sadly on your inexperienced hands. I only hope you can capture a bit of the fire of your bodies and give us the assistance we need."
"What say you? Will you help us.. or at least hear us out further? I can't deny that bringing you where would have been an awful waste of both our times if you say no.. and you'll still have to follow our method to get home either way." he said with a large grin acting as if there was really no care in how they answered.. even though there obviously was a lot riding on it.
Angel knew that she wanted.. more time to be a girl... and they were already going to go back to reality? It sounded so depressing.. even if the quest took a while. Why couldn't they just stop the evil lady and then say here? But she remembered Alexia.. and she remembered that everyone else had people they loved or a life they lived back home.. she was sure they all wanted to go. "What do you guys want? I think.. we should consider it.." she said softly. Trying hard not to try to make the others feel guilty.

Interesting, Kismet thought. He, or at least whoever he represents, is also responsible for bringing us to this place, but not who we appeared as. Smirking, he glanced over at Jukan, who appeared sulky after Jade’s rebuke. Apparently, we decided that part. He had no idea why he had subliminally chosen to appear as Giacomo, but it hardly mattered at the moment. The deeper connotations of that particular twist of fate could be mulled over later. He brought his attention back to Jade, his smile fading.
"What say you? Will you help us.. or at least hear us out further?” he asked, “ I can't deny that bringing you where would have been an awful waste of both our times if you say no...and you'll still have to follow our method to get home either way." Jade smiled that sarcastic smile of his, composed and aloof to their responses. Despite admitting he needed their help, he acted as if their decision was of no great concern.
Ah…But that’s because it isn’t. Kismet realized. ”You'll still have to follow our method to get home either way?” Dear sir, I believe you have us in the palm of your hand. With a grunt, he clambered back to his feet and crossed his arms. His gaze settled on Angel, and his eyes met with Collette’s. He felt a sharp pang in his chest as he realized what all this would mean for her, but he kept his face as calm and level as he could manage. What a cruel thing to do…to make her choose like this. In that moment Kismet realized he truly hated Jade, but almost immediately a surge of other emotions washed over him. Guilt, fear, regret. Was he truly the cruel one, for thinking that? For preferring to deny that opportunity, however brief? He tore his gaze away from Angel, completely lost on what to think or say, feeling utterly useless.
Get a hold of yourself. He silently commanded, inwardly shaking himself. He suddenly realized that he was coming dangerously close to losing control; having woken up in an alien land in an alien body, blown half to hell, and now blackmailed into service. You don’t know what’s going on. You have no control. Do not worry about things you cannot change. Focus on what you can do. That’s the way you’ve always done it. That’s the way you’ve stayed sane and alive all these years. With a deep breath, he calmed himself, and turned his attention back to Jade. “I’m in.”

Henry simply watched in silence as the events unfolded before him, trying to keep from showing any kind of thought on the situation for fear of betraying his innermost thoughts.
A man he didn't recognize stood up and accepted the offer of the Tales guy. He'd introduced himself at least once now, but Henry hadn't heard it and frankly didn't care. He was bad with names anyway, he'd have forgotten it even if he had listened.
Henry liked this man, though- this tales guy. He was manipulative, no doubt powerful (he had created that explosion, after all) and had them all right where he wanted them.
Clever beetches. Henry thought, his mind flashing to a moment in the series There will be Brawl when...
Catching himself, Henry forced his mind to concentrate as he wiped the smirk off his face. He'd missed what this man had offered as well as his name, so it was rather difficult to accept his offer. It was now or never, he supposed.
Don't be the arrogant hard ass that has to stand out, you fu-
Henry cut himself off with words he hadn't expected to actually come out. It was the first time he'd spoken since he'd come here, even- his voice sounded much like it did before. Deep, rich with a dozen accents pulling at the sentences, making it difficult to pinpoint exactly where (in Texas) he was from. "Yur gonna have to give more details than that if ya want me ta come with yea. " He said, stepping away from the bar he had been leaning on.
"F starters, who was that? And if yer tha resistance, who are you resisting? And why would a group that has been a resistance for even a reasonable amount of time need help from a group of people en unfamiliar bodies with little to no combat skills between them? I mean, I would think yer 'trained operatives' would handle it, but I'm just a college student, what the f*** do I know, right?"
I can't believe I just said all that.
((Yes I really talk that way))

Music -- If anyone is having trouble following the goings on, I have placed a updated story bio on the first page with everything you need to know by the end of this post, plus a few tiny more details that you'll learn next one. If there still is any confusion please feel free to PM me or IM me at princessoftheclow@hotmail.com I'm attempting to get the story started but I would totally understand if this was alot of information to be processing for some not so used to RPing.
I'm also including a glossary of terms that will be commonly used in the RP to better help people and confusion as well. I hope this makes your RP experience more enjoyable. Henry.. or Roy's (as far as the rest of the gang knew) question was a good one.. even if it had already been asked slightly before. Jade pushed up his glasses and started to move towards answering when suddenly a small voice was heard just from outside the room. "Maybe I could help out on this question Jade.. No offense, but I think you might be scaring them a bit.." a young girls voice was soon followed by the flapping of powerful wings, and in flew a pale white girl with red-brown hair tied back in a single ponytail, a gray-blue dress and a very noticably beak on her face. She landed, and it almost seemed as if her wings disseapered, suddenly replaced with a very thin set of hands. "Oh Medli dear, I thought I asked you to scout the area for any of Our Lady's little friends?" he said, making it obvious that they were together in some form. Medli made a small bow, and then looked kinda shy about answering in front of so many people.. but gave her report nonetheless. "I've flown about the area and talked to the villagers, no one has seen the Fairy Princess, The Blue Destoryer or any of Our Lady's henchman in the area. I guess she came alone, which is kinda strange dontcha think?" She looked around the area, not really sure who meet the gaze of next. Looking at "Roy" she smiled a bit before speaking again.. Jade had taken a few steps back and seemed perfectly content with her answering the question. "The person we were attacking, the person that caused this all was a girl in our land that most people call Our Lady. She came from your reality and has been changing everything here.. she isn't really hurting anyone but she is causing our world to tear apart. She needs to be sent back to your reality.. and your the only ones that can do that. " she said, seemingly a little saddened by something. Angel couldn't tell what it was.. but Medli was sure recognizable and she once against got a pang of sadness that this couldn't be the world they stayed in. It was so full of life... well, other than someone was terrorizing it. "But my name is Medli.. you all might recongize me. If you do, thank you! My job in the resistance is mostly scouting and language, I know almost all the languages of the Four Corner Lands. We the Resistance are fighting for control of our home back. which lies between the land of dreams and your reality... " she paused a bit.. looking around. Most of the people still acted as if they were shaky. She was worried about going too far without some of the other people being apart of the conversation. "Really though, it's not too safe where we are. We're bordering the Fairy Kingdom, and the Princess might be sent over any time now.. because of how close we are to her location. If you would please trust us just to get you away from here.. we promise to explain everything we can after everyone is healed up and you can meet more members of our resistance. We NEED you. We won't hurt you.." she said, and paused a bit which Jade took as a sign to continue. "And if you so choose after you have listened to what we have told you not to help us, we can drop you of anywhere you fancy. Medli is right here.. this place isn't safe" he stated, gesturing at the destroyed inn around them. A woman, the one behind the desk was finally peeking out, obviously hiding behind it the entire time. She looked sad at the destruction of the quiet inn Dragonfly. "Will you come with us?"

smashbro listened and took in what was being said. He was comfortable up until Medli came. Up until then he was sure that they were bad guys under the guise of being good. But in her game, Medli was one of the heroes, and gave up her own life to save the world. Could she be bad? Or being forced to be part of this? Or are they actually good? Once he was sure kunekune was getting better, he stood.
"Look, I'm sorry if we don't take to you right away," Kevin began, with a reasoning tone. It sounded somewhat pleading, but he knew what he wanted to say, and actually said it well this time. "but you just caused an explosion next to us, so that you could supposedly scare away this evil lady who may have been here. I mean, only one of us even saw her. And you pop in and tell us to trust you? I want to know more about this whole thing. You tell me your side, and then I'm going to find that lady and see what their side is. Until then, I'm only trusting my friends here. So what's your story?"
OOC: If this is too early for a lot of info, Angel, go ahead and dodge the question.

The blackness that had embraced her limp figure was slowly releasing its grip, setting her back down on the floor of the tainted Dragonfly and back in to the heart of the storm. Kunekune had only once been in this state and remembered it well, remembered the repercussions of staying in it for too long, but the enticing comfort of the shroud seemed to flee from forces unknown. Before long her eyelids slid open and her ears rang, a slightly bitter juice still clinging to her moist lips. Her hand painfully slipped up to her mouth and wiped off the liquid, deducing that it must have been the cause for the Darkness to slip away, however it did nothing to help the pain in her chest. Hesitantly, she propped herself up on her shoulders while still facing up, opening her eyes wider to get a better handle on the situation. A tall, green-haired man stood at her side, speaking to the man she had seen before with the smirk and glasses. She recognized the uniformed man once her eyes focused as Jade from Tales of the Abyss, a game Kunekune had not yet completed, and the man at her side was, from what she could tell, a character from Fire Emblem, a game series she was familiar with on a superficial sense. Well these people must also be from the forum but I'm not so sure I can guess who they might be, she thought as her head slowly creaked around to check the status of her fellow "forumCENSOREDs." Apparently something serious was going on, apart from the destruction before them, but Kunekune was unaware and it seemed to be too deep into the discussion to warrant a suitable query for herself: "WTF was going on?" And as usual, she found herself to have awoken with a song stuck in her head, the piano version of the Barrel Roll Song. Kunekune chuckled inside, finding that her brain took a liking to juxtaposing itself from all matters that required serious attention. Oh well, whatever we decide is better than anything I can come up with, she decided. Then, Medli flew in and she almost flipped. She was so adorable! For a moment she forgot the pain and sat upright, but was unable to restrain a yelp of pain in doing so. Medli had reminded her so much of a duck despite having the ability to fly, but her beak was so cute! Through the pain she managed a, "Hi Medli," treating her as though they were best friends.

Henry felt his body relax a little when Medli arrived. He'd always like Medli enough in the Wind Waker game- maybe not enough to want to immediately rush to make friends with her, but enough to feel a bit more comfort in the predictability of someone he knew even vaguely. Sure, he couldn't exactly finish her sentences for her, but he could rule out what she would and would not say to a generalized margin.
When the other guy (presumably from Fire Emblem as well) began reasoning with Medli and the guy from the Tales games, Henry took a step back, turning only his head towards him, and pointing slightly, saying "Yar, Ee's got tha idea."

Jade and Medli exchanged glances after smashbro's comment.. and for a moment, they both looked kinda nervous.. though different in their own way. Medli was distracted a bit when kunekune came up to her, but she smiled up at her. "Hello there! I.. hope we can be friends and I can be of help. I'm trying my best anyway.." she said, while Jade seemed to be pondering on how to best answer the new statement put out. Thinking for a moment, he finally replied softly.
"We would rather you didn't talk to Our Lady as much as possible. It's not like we are afraid she would give a different side of the story, I mean, speak to any random townspeople and 80% of them will tell you something bad about her. We want you to make the right decision we.. just wondering if you really can. " he took a pause, which Medli looked over at him from her talk with kunekune to nod, and he smiled a bit at her..
"We believe that if you talk to her right now, you will be trapped here for all eternity and our entire effort will be for nothing. Our world will sink deeper in a place of no repair. We want to trust you, just like you we hope you want to trust us.. but it's hard. We only know you from very little knowledge, and what we know makes us worried. Is there anything we could do to get you to trust us, however momentarily?" he said, for once seemingly attempting to be a bit nicer with his words.
Angel was happy they were cautious.. but she wished they could just all trust each other. Walking a little closer to where Kismet stood, she looked at him softly, trying to see if he was okay. He seemed upset, and she was sad that their first meeting in real life had to be under such scary circumstances.. "Maybe this will still be fun?" she said softly.. since he had already agreed to listen to them.

Well this tales guy was right about one thing: Trust didn't come easily. Not typically anyway, not under normal circumstances.
But they were the good guys, right? So far as Kai knew everyone here had actually turned into a good guy (although a few of them, such as the guy who may-or-may-not also be from Fire Emblem and the fish-head guy with the scythe were questionable, as was the Prince of Persia guy and the Gundam character who was looking more and more out of place in all of this.)
So... was this Tales guy a good guy too? Medli certainly was. So does that mean that you can trust all of them?
The saying "there's always a rotten apple in the bunch" can also be applied to good and evil. There's always someone worth saving amongst the denizens of the dark and there's always someone worth condemning on the opposing side- don't make assumptions based entirely on one character, especially one you only met in a video game.
He would make sure he wouldn't.

“Maybe this will be fun?” Angel suggested quietly, looking Kismet’s way.
Sure. Everything so far has been peachy. Instead of saying that however, he turned and winked at her, smiling reassuringly. He had discovered long ago that even if you had no clue what to do, so long as you acted like everything was under control, people tended to believe you. “Well,” he said, his voice not quite as steady as he would have liked “no matter what we choose, I believe you said there were safer places to discuss things. Perhaps this conversation should continue there.”
Somehow, Medli’s appearance had hardly seemed strange at all. Which was itself odd, considering he wasn’t much accustomed to seeing people flying around with bird wings. But then, so many strange things had been happening, he supposed the WTF factor was beginning to wear off. With a curt nod, he acknowledged her existence.
Our Lady…An unusual title to be given by your supposed enemies.

"You don't have me convinced yet," Kevin said as Aran, the lance wielding soldier from Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn. "But I'll bite. What do you say we have to do? Go on some quest? And I think you said this before, but go over it again, if you had the power to bring us here, why do you need us to send her back? And what will happen once she returns to our world, will she still be evil? Will she wreak havoc on our world?"

Kunekune agreed with smashbro's line of thinking.
"Yes, please try and explain a little further. I'm not saying you're wrong, but it seems that a great deal of information is left behind the curtain and you've yet to give it to us. If my being here is to save the world from destruction, then I'd like to be very well informed so as to not screw up."
She knew that sooner or later they would have to fight, but Kunekune was unaware of how she or the others were to do so. I mean, she couldn't feel the magic flowing through her body that she knew Zelda had, so how would they do it? Would this be some sick sort of leveling system where abilities are given back as we progress further towards the person in question? Hopefully not, she thought, because if we had our original powers then this could be a lot easier, at least one would think.
Only time would tell, and the responses of the man and Medli, both of whom seemed to be an unlikely duo.
//Sorry it's kinda dry, but I don't really have much to go by ^^;
