Matthew realized that Collete-or Angel, if that was possible-was about to fall, but couldn’t bring himself to move. His head was still wrapped in a thick fog, and he could only watch on in captivated silence as she tumbled forward. Fortunately, Athr-No, Jukan, was not so encumbered. Moving with startling speed, he leapt forward and caught her in his arms. Coordinator! So he’s received Athrun’s natural abilities? Then I…we all…
Matthew’s was startled back into reality, or at least his current one, with the loud clattering of Jukan’s gun falling from his clothes. Involuntarily, he took a step back and gasped. His stomach grew even colder, if that was possible. Still, if there was one thing he was good at, it was at least pretending to be in control. Moving slowly but deliberately, he stepped forward and placed his foot atop the firearm, glaring at the others from the corners of his eyes. He recognized the Princesses Peach and Zelda, naturally, but also Aran-one of his favorite characters from Fire Emblem. It seemed that these people were from the fan site. Sharpay, Jukan, and smashbro he knew somewhat, though they’d never really had long conversations. Kune he knew, and rather liked for her quirky sense of humor and sensible tastes in books. Funnily, the only way he had ever really imagined her was as that green haired girl she used for an avatar. Not that it really mattered.
And of course…I know Angel… Despite himself, he smiled inwardly. You look just as I imagined you, you’ll be happy to know.
The gun still held firmly under his foot, he slowly knelt to one knee, and proceeded to disarm it. He was deathly afraid that the damn thing would go off, but his helmet obscured his face, which he could render fairly mask like anyways. He had never so much as touched a real gun before, but Hollywood and video games had given him a workable understanding of how the weapon worked. After a few moments of tinkering, he removed the magazine, and then the bullet in the chamber. Resisting the urge to wipe the sweat accumulating on his brow, he stood, pocketing the magazine and moving to assist Jukan with Angel.
“You inherent some of Collette’s clumsiness, or did you just swoon at the sight of me?” He asked, smiling with a fake show of bravado. Let it always be remembered he thought, that BSing is an artform.

smashbro looked around at everyone. He knew that this wasn't what his friends actually looked like, but He had always thought that Angel would be a little younger, and have brown hair; Jukan would have longer black hair; Sharpay always liked Peach, he thought, so that made sense; he didn't think of any look in particular for Kismet so he would get used to that; and he didn't know if Kune seemed to be like Zelda to him, but he figured he would get used to that.
Kevin took a breath. this was his chance to be who he really was. As Colette/Angel fell, he tried to get up to catch her, but tripped a little bit and nearly fell on his face. GUess he and Aran were both clumsy. He hastily got back into his chair, and whistled the kind of whistle you do when you don't want people to know you just made a fool of yourself...or draw attention to it. He stood up.
"Hey guys. Well, I'm smashbro, well actually ... Kevo Kevy Harry Fancypants "Epic Win" "For the Win" Dinosaurwallet Paco Dr. Smell Good Fountain Boy Kleenex mergod Man of Justice a.k.a. smashbro," Kevin took a breath. "And, yeah, as to why...we're here for..." he took another breath. "We've gotta be here for a reason, whatever it is. And yeah, Angel's right, we gotta find it out. Even though this is like, a great dream of mine, we need to get back into our world, in our own bodies...this isn't right. But hey, who knows. Maybe we can learn about each other and stuff while we're here. I mean, we're here probably cause we really needed this at this point in our lives, so here we are."
After he finished this, Kevin felt awkward still standing up. "So...yeah. That's, kinda it...yeah," Kevin sat down again, slightly red, but feeling both better and worse about himself at the same time.

Sibyl, no Kune, had heard everything the golden-haired girl had said and was seriously taken aback by the notion that her forum friends were in the same place--or even dream--as her. She took a step back and began straightening her hair and smoothing out her slightly unkempt robe out of instinct, a habit she picked up in middle school from one of her dear friends. I know it isn't the real me I'm straightening out, but I'd like to look my best, she thought.
Slowly she began walking along the railing of the balcony until she came to the staircase that hugged the southeastern wall and followed it downward, each step downward her eyes opened wider at the prospect of meeting her friends in person, albeit not in their true forms. As she stepped down and glanced around at the collection of people, some looking her way some not, she felt as though she could guess the members: Big Boss she knew had to be BB, Colette was of course Angel, Princess Peach was most likely Sharpay after examining her signature, but the rest wasn't registering as anything iconic for the members she was familiar with. Well, in due time she would know and they would know her so there was no need to fret, although they probably won't know that she fancied Princess Zelda, but rather maybe a duck or the quirky girls in her avatars.
A few glances from characters seemed to communicate that they may know who she was, which on second thought might have been easy seeing as how few girls were on the site. Well at least that was out of the way for some; Kune hated introductions because of the attention they usually brought.
Then all of a sudden Colette--Angel--fell from the chair she was standing upon into the arms of...Athrun Zala? Now that was certainly an unusual character to be in a room full of video game heroes and heroines, but his presence wasn't in any way a bad thing, just awkward. A thought of Jukan flashed through her mind, but she quickly dismissed it being sure that it was someone else.
Finally she reached the back of the crowd around Colette and stood silent, peeking around others to see the commotion.
I hope they like me.

((OOC: out of turn or whatever, i know. I just wanted to join, sorreh ^^; )) Friday night. Down four drinks of blue stuff, 8 of red stuff, and obscene amounts of beer. Rob was a little more than a bit inebriated. He was having trouble remembering things that he'd said a few moments ago, and couldn't feel his ears or face. His pants were stained with blue drank, and his two friends had told the bartender to refuse him any more red drank. "I've sunk lower," he thought just as he was drowned in his first, and hopefully last "beer shower." But the night hadn't started like this... Rob's family was coming to visit him at his college the next day, and he couldn't help but feel like he was less excited than he should be. After all, half of the reason he had decided to go away to school in the first place was to get away from his family, being the dysfunctional mess that it was. "Oh well," he thought, "its just one day..." Then came the blue drank. Rob stumbled, struggling to maintain his balance, even with his two friends standing at either shoulder supporting him. Everyone was going back to get something to eat before bed, so he grudgingly followed along, wanting nothing more than for his face to become re-acquainted with his pillow. The remainder of the night became a blur aside from a few glimpses of broken plates and the orange glow of the streetlights... Rob woke up suddenly in a cold sweat in a strange bed he didn't recognize. He could have sworn he heard his cell phone ringing, "Shit! Parents!" He scrambled out of bed, still somewhat tipsy, and turned his mattress looking for his cellular device. Strangely enough, it had stopped ringing. Perhaps even stranger, the face that he had absolutely no idea where he was. Perhaps the strangest thing about the situation, the ornate gauntlet on his left that he could have sworn had come straight out of his Prince of Persia game. "What is," Rob raised his hands to his face to find a series of scarves were wrapped around his head, "this?" He stumbled over to a nearby mirror, "the CENSORED?" He shouted upon viewing his unfamiliar reflection. He was in the body of the cynical grave robber himself, the "prince" of Persia. He slowly walked down the stairs, clutching the railing for support, to find a plethora of game characters to greet him...

Look at you, cowering like this in your room.
I'm not cowering, I'm thinking.
You're thinking about backing out, jumping out the window.
Don't patronize me, that's not even close to what I was thinking.
That's not how you use the word "patronize," dumbshit.
Alright, we're getting off topic.
Henry rocked on his heels, biting his thumb. He needed to go out, or whoever, whatever was out there would more than likely come in here looking for him. And who knew, it could be his friends out there. Tyler as Kain? That'd be worth a laugh.
And so, with this thought in his heart, Henry spun abruptly and gripped the handle to the door, but didn't dare turn it.
But what if the ones out there aren't my friends?
A thump resounded through the floor. The feeling of the shock through the hardwood wasn't enough for anything large, maybe a chair or something that fell over.
Oh, lady luck smiles upon you.
Henry pushed the door open softly, painting his face with a look of mild surprise and curiosity, making it appear as though he was investigating the source of the noise. As he had guessed, there were others from various games he had played or seen, but few others he fully recognized. Peach, Zelda, and some guy that was definitely from Fire Emblem but which one was unclear. They were gathered around something, probably somebody that had fallen over, and none of them faced him.
"Oh, sir Roy! I was wondering if you would awaken."
Shit.
Henry cringed when his name was called. A woman at a counter had called it, drawing attention to him, something Henry was avoiding. She beckoned him to her, and he obliged with a friendly mask covering his hissing anger.
"You're party is over there, sir Roy. Here is what you asked for." She said it plainly, the way someone would if they had said something many times over (which she probably had, considering the number of people present) and handed him a name tag that plainly said "Serras-Kai" in handwriting much neater than his own. He cracked a smile- these people were going by pen names. Undoubtedly they all had their respective name tags on, and maybe Henry -no, Kai- could use that to his advantage. If they had no idea who he was, they couldn't react based on his internet persona, and would not look upon him with the same light. He'd hate to ruin their perception of them by revealing he was an air-nosed prick who couldn't be bothered to help anyone other than himself.
Folding the name tag as he turned away from the desk, Kai softly slipped the paper into his belt pouch, hiding it from view as slowly ghosted towards the crowd.

OOC: Sorry for my post being late.
Sharpay just saw Colette fall down and as she was being helped up I got up from my seat quickly and asked, "Are you alright?"
After Colette was seated again Shan sat back down again and said to everyone, "Hello, I am Sharpay from our forum. I am also wondering why we are brought here together, but I am sure it is for a good reason. And I notice that we all are from the same forum, it is a pleasure to meeting all of you."
As Sharpay just finished talking she saw Princess Zelda stand near Colette and said to her, "Goodmoring Princess Zelda."
Sharpay then was trying to wonder how many of us from the forum will join the group and why we are here together.

A lump formed in the back of Zelda's throat as Princess Peach--Sharpay--had addressed her so casually despite the circumstances she had found herself in. Instead of continually dwelling on her fear, Zelda decided to feed off of Peach's strength in order to muster a response.
"G-good morning Sharpay," she managed with a coy smile given as if none were there except the two of them. However, reality set back in and before she knew it her face was as red as a beet when people around them glanced her way. Were they expecting an introduction from her as well? Zelda didn't know but hoped they did not, seeing as how she had already been introduced, albeit not as Kunekune but as Zelda.
From what Zelda had gathered, this sudden meeting had more than the purpose of introducing themselves. It meant to find a reason as to why they appeared as their favorite game and anime characters. Kunekune wanted to know, but she wasn't so sure if she even wanted to return to her normal life. She knew it had to do with magic, something had pulled them together for a purpose and whatever that was had done so in a manner which we were given almost unlimited power--the power of our characters. Many things, Kunekune thought, could have been changed in each game we were from had we had been there to think for these characters. Now we can think for them, which in a sense gives us a much greater power than they could have ever possessed. We know our weaknesses, we know our limitations, and we know powers through and through. Our purpose for meeting in this way must be of great importance. Surely whomever gathered us here would know of these things.
And it was because of this that Kunekune's mind was put at ease, knowing of the hidden power that each of them carried.
With a sliver of apprehension tugging her mind's arm, Kunekune moved smoothly towards the front of the crowd in a more casual manner than most, refraining from stepping onto the chair. She introduced herself with dignity and with pride at the splendor before her.
"Hello all! I am unaware of who everyone here is, but for those who do not know I am Kunekune and I too want to some answers as to why we are the way we are. At first I thought it to be a dream, but now that I've seen you all in person it is truly real. While I am happy to be in the shoes of one of my favorite characters I know we must take all the necessary precautions to remain alive, or remain in good health, as I believe we were brought here for more than just the enjoyment of supernatural powers, combat prowess, or stunning intellect. It is my pleasure to be amongst you all!"
And with that she backed away a bit and fluttered off to the side, chuckling and believing that speech to be unnecessarily eloquent...

Buckle your seat belt, we're taking a 180!Falling down, she prepared herself to land face first into the ground. Suddenly something strong made her ram into it much faster than normal and her eyes closed out of fear. When she opened them, she was looking to a smiling face.. which made her smile too. It was really good to be treated with kindness now.. and she blushed at the thought that someone was holding her. It was all so.. much of a rush. She brushed her long but kept hair out of her face and smiled back, noticing the small piece of paper on his shirt and wanting to giggle. "Hi Jukkie.. It's wonderful that your here". Deep down, this might not have been what she thought he would look like, but he looked pretty happy to be here. That was super good to know. Just when she was about to say something more, she heard someone else say her name, which made her look over to the person immediately. "You inherent some of Collette’s clumsiness, or did you just swoon at the sight of me?” and she smiled even more, noticing the name on the strange looking guys outfit. Leave it to Kismet to be someone that would be so obscure. It only fit in with his mysterious vibe, and it made her laugh outloud.. "Maybe... a little of both?" she said shyly. Might not be a complete untruth either.. she thought embarrassingly. He's so cool, even if that.. "hat" or whatever he's wearing looks super silly. Looks like a fishie. She heard smashbro start talking and listened, thankful that someone else was on her side. She grew a bit happy at the idea of getting to know him, because since he almost never had time to talk to her she had never really gotten to know him. Maybe this was the chance, though she thought silently that if this was a dream she couldn't be sure that it really was him... which definitely complicated matters. Kunekune followed him up and said a wonderful speech of her own. They were right though.. maybe they were here for a reason if it wasn't? Wouldn't that be.. something out of one of her stories. Everything was feeling so wonderful until she heard a loud popping noise on the otherside of the table and, startled.. looked over to try and see it's source. What she noticed was that someone has suddenly appeared out of nowhere. I mean, there was alot of people, but she had at least seen them all briefly, this one was completely different and really stood out. The slightly small figure was completely draped in a pure white cloak that was very bright.. which was odd since she seemed to be hiding her face most of the way. White wasn't the color to hide in! Small patches of what seemed to be short blonde hair were sticking out of the hood.. and she could swear she saw a pure red eye. looking malicious. But she only had a moment to think about her because her sudden appearance brought out another change. It was so quick and sudden that no one could have been prepared for it, even if they were on guard from the sudden appearance. A large explosion sounded in the room as if the source was right outside the room. Sure enough, the windows in the hotel started cracking and breaking, and dust filled the room. The blast threw the people sitting around the table across the room and sounds of things inside the Dragonfly breaking were evident with loud cracks, crashes and shatters sounding. People inside started screaming and panicking, a few yelling things like "Are they here?!" and other small panicked phrases. A large, gray brown cloud covered the room soon though, mostly obscuring the room and Angel started coughing when it entered her lungs. It was so thick. No longer in Jukan's arms thanks to the blast she jumped up and wanted to know where she could start running. Blinded by the smog. She had a lot of apocalyptic dreams before, dreams were she was in the middle of some giant war, with bombs and missiles going off.. so she instinctively wanted to start running. She heard another popping noise, and saw the figure in white suddenly vanish.. and she suddenly was worried that she or he was was responsible. Her friends and her were in danger, even if it was just a dream.. and she wanted to know why they were being attacked! When the dust cleared, it seemed too quiet. The lobby was in a horrible state, looking just as if a bomb had just landed next to it. Everything had happened so fast, some might not fully be aware that an older man with long brown hair and a green military outfit stood in the middle of the room, which had been cleared of people besides the the forumers and the people the man. He had a huge grin on his face, which was strange due to the serious nature of what just had happened. He pushed up his glasses, which surprisingly where dust free and spoke in a friendly, if over friendly tone. "Hello everyone. Some of you might recognize me as Colonel Jade Curtiss. But even if you don't, I'm quite flattered to make your acquaintances, young people of the former Super Smash Bros. Fansite forum. I'm afraid your lives are in serious danger, and the longer you stay in the land between reality and dreams, logic and fantasy.. the longer your most likely to die. I'm here to help you understand as best as I can.. but if you don't hurry.. it will be too late. You should trust me.. or don't. That's if you want to risk being trapped in madness for the rest of your lives. I don't know if your interested in that.." he said, all with the same light, airy tone.. not every changing to sound more serious. His smile if anything had gotten larger. Go ahead and post your responses to everything I posted here, then go ahead and even ask Colonel Jade Curtiss a question, if your character feels like asking something. If someone asks a question, please give me a chance to answer it, that way were are having a realistic pacing.. I don't feel like doing a post full of 20 questions. Everyone be patient.

Angel laughed at Matthew-or Kismet, as he was known by these companions, and he joined in. She looked him over, her eyes finally settling on his hat. It was so weird, all that unnatural weight attached to his head. Not to mention his hair was now absurdly long, another bit of awkward baggage attached to his noggin. “Maybe…a little of both?” She answered him, blushing shyly.
Ah, you’ll get over that once you get know me better, I’m sure. he thought, smiling. Soon, everyone was exchanging greetings, excitedly pointing out what they’d all realized; that’d they’d all awoken as video game characters. Which was pretty awesome, to be sure. But why Giacomo? He’s not my favorite character…or even a good guy. Kismet frowned. It didn’t really matter. He looked around, taking note of everyone. He realized he was probably the only person who recognized the character he had awoken as, and that he was being overlooked somewhat. Sounds about right.
Just as he was noticing that he had shrunken by a good four inches or so, he observed two latecomers descend from the stairs. He recognized both immediately, or at least their bodies. Roy of Fire Emblem and Smash Bros. fame accepted his name tag from the desk women, looking startled. Not surprising. He then stuck his name tag in his pocket. Now that was surprising. However, Kismet had a good guess as to who he was. Aside from frequenting the fansite, he was also an epic lurker at a site devoted to the web series There Will Be Brawl. In both locals, there had been a single dedicated Roy fan using the same name. Still, if he wanted to remain anonymous, that was his decision, and he would respect that.
The second tardy individual had taken the form of the Prince of Persia, who, come to think of it, had never been given a name. But that was alright, there was only one major PoP fan that he knew of on the fansite. Kismet smiled. He actually looked hung-over, the bastard. Excusing himself from the others, he strolled up and gave the surprised Prince a hug. “Dobs!” he said, “Glad to see you made it.” It had better be you, God damn it.
However, due to this display of affection, Kismet completely missed the appearance of the white robed figure. He did not, however, miss the massive explosion that ripped through the bar moments later. That was slightly more attention grabbing. Kismet was hurled to the ground, his absurd looking helmet actually coming to good use as he bashed his head against the front desk. He miraculously had time to think Hah! Function over form Angel! But then everything was noise and light, and his senses left him. All he could tell was that everything had gone to hell, people and debris flying through the air and a roaring noise like nothing he had ever heard before. And then, as soon as it had began, it was over.
The eerie silence did not remove the horrendous ringing in his ears, and he woozily clambered to his feet. The place was a wreck, and he began to appreciate appearing as a fully armored warrior, ridiculous helmet and all. Something…something was off though…Fog had descended over Kismet’s mind, his head thoroughly rattled by the explosion. Someone was talking. Smiling. Calm, composed, unharmed. Didn’t make sense. Explosions…were bad…something wrong here. Slowly, the ringing in his ears subsided, and the man’s words began reaching his brain.
“…But even if you don't, I'm quite flattered to make your acquaintances, young people of the former Super Smash Bros. Fansite forum. I'm afraid your lives are in serious danger, and the longer you stay in the land between reality and dreams, logic and fantasy…the longer you’re most likely to die. I'm here to help you understand as best as I can…but if you don't hurry…it will be too late. You should trust me…or don't. That's if you want to risk being trapped in madness for the rest of your lives. I don't know if you’re interested in that…"
The…hell? Kismet noticed Giacomo’s scythe sticking up out the rubble nearby. His vision blurring with each step, he staggered over and gripped it tightly, steadying himself. Who…is this guy? He hoped he looked more threatening than he felt. He had no clue how to use the scythe, and even if he resorted to his tried and trusted karate skills, he held no illusions of a chance of victory. Most important questions first. “Who are you…and why does our welcome party include attempted murder?”

Jade laughed, a obvious amused with the first question he received. His hands in his pockets. He looked at the man, uncaring of his obvious feeling of threat at the situation or the weapon he carried. "Oh, but you should be THANKING me.." again saying everything with an almost sarcastic level smile. "That explosion was meant for your little guest, not your honorable selves. The woman that had appeared next to you was the sole target and you just happened to be in the cross fire.. believe me, your safety is important to us more than anything." he paused a tad, but no enough time to interrupt him before continuing. "I would never make a move to harm you in any lasting way. As I said, I'm Jade Curtiss, a member of the Resistance and here to help you.. because we are in desperate need of your assistance.. " he said, actually making a small, formal bow to the people, most of who were still laying on the ground rattled.
"Who.. was it? I.. did see her.." Angel said, obviously a bit scared from her appearance. Jade looked over at her and actually frowned. He pushed up his glasses a bit, which shined in some reflected light, concealing his eyes.. giving him an even more mysterious look. "Someone worth pitying actually. She's not of the right mind, like most people who enter this world of madness. It's a good thing she wasn't able to make contact with you all first. " he looked a bit troubled to Angel's eyes when he said this. Did he know the girl personally? Did he care for her? A lot of questions, but she knew he would get so many.. and.. blushing and brushing the dust off her clothes.. she was a bit too embarrassed to ask such a thing.

Things had been shaky until this point.
Kai had not joined in the laughter of his comrades for fear of drawing further attention to himself (and tipping his fellows off) but he had allowed himself to enjoy a small smirk before his world was rocked by a terrible explosion.
Henry's world was smeared as his vision blurred. The blast would have knocked him off his feet had he not caught himself with his entire chest across the desk, an occurrence he was still trying to peel himself from. His state of shock had lasted until this moment, when the dazed blur dripped from his eyes and he was once again a part of this world.
The man who was before him may (or may not) have been an enemy, but that mattered little to Henry at the moment, who was slouched against the desk trying to piece together what he was doing here. Hell, the man may have even introduced himself already, in which case he had missed it completely. It was a character he didn't recognize, but judging from the style of clothing and mannerisms was from a tales game, which Henry had not played. Not that he cared much.
Hauling himself to his feet again, Henry placed his hand first on his head- he wasn't bleeding. His pocket came next- the name tag was gone. That didn't bother him too terribly much, since they were likely to either leave this location soon anyway, so it was of little consequence to him if he didn't happen upon it. Simultaneously his other hand spread across his chest, checking for signs of internal or simply hidden-by-armor injuries, revealing a bruise but nothing further. Lastly was his lower back, which he really didn't need to check as he could very obviously feel the weight of his sword, but you never knew so he checked it anyway- there it was, safe and sound. He was all here, so now he needed that name tag...
Without a word, Henry locked his eyes downward in an effort to sweep the area in search of it.

Jukan couldn’t help but blush when Angel smiled and blushed at him. He had never known what it was like to hold a girl in his arms, for a moment, he had forgotten what was going on. It was a good feeling, a satisfying feeling. “Good to see you too Angel” he was able to utter out. Before he knew it, he was snapped out of things when he noticed that Colette had vanished from up-top of him. The first words out of Jukan’s mouth were “The heck?” He said as he quickly stood up. He turns back to hear a man speaking. This man was defiantly not from his group of friends, as he explained things, he took a quick look around at those he was with. Bombs had gone off and everything, something wasn’t right.
“Who are you…and why does our welcome party include attempted murder?” he heard the one who’s name was written on his tag as Kismet. In his hand, he quickly noticed a gun. Instinctively, he reached into his pocket, he had a suspicion that was probably his gun, but now really wasn’t the time to ask him.
"Oh, but you should be THANKING me.." The man uttered in response. "That explosion was meant for your little guest, not your honorable selves. The woman that had appeared next to you was the sole target and you just happened to be in the cross fire.. believe me, your safety is important to us more than anything." Honorable? HA!! Jukan thought to himself. "I would never make a move to harm you in any lasting way. As I said, I'm Jade Curtiss, a member of the Resistance and here to help you.. because we are in desperate need of your assistance.. "
"Who.. was it? I.. did see her.." He heard Angel say. Jukan couldn’t help but think, he was too dazed by the experience to notice anything really. So he couldn’t say the same as her. "Someone worth pitying actually. She's not of the right mind, like most people who enter this world of madness. It's a good thing she wasn't able to make contact with you all first.” Jukan took a moment to dwell. This guy didn’t look to reliable, he could be lying, or covering up the truth. Perhaps this whole things about their lives being in danger was a lie. He wasn’t sure, but knew he couldn’t jump to conclusions.
“just wait a second? Good thing you got to us first? What exactly is going on” here, and why am I the only straight out anime character that does not originally originate from a videogame?” Jukan asked making hand jesters as he asked his questions. Something really was off here, and he wanted to know what that was.

Jade turned his direction towards the next person, not even showing fear that idea that Kismet was still holding his scythe. He spoke simply, obviously realizing that there would be many more questions to come. "Oh, I wouldn't know. Your the ones that chose those forms after all. We just wanted you.. we couldn't care less how you appear. Though I'm sure there must be some personal reason why you separate yourself from the others.. probably have too much fun at the idea of being on a different level than the others. You should watch that." he said, pausing once again, but then continuing. Maybe he was just letting the words sink in, but he seemed to find himself rather funny. "And what's going on here? That girl wanted to sink you into oblivion and trap you in a world of illusion. I'll accept my thanks anytime now." and with that, he waited again for the next question. Such a big group was a handful to say the least.

Kismet lowered his scythe and straightened out of his fighting position. Ok, he thought, inventory. He caused the explosion, but was trying to hit whoever it was Angel saw. He could have killed us all, and still could at any time. Instead, he’s having a question and answer session with us. With a groan, he sat back down. He trusted Jade about as much as he trusted that his dorky looking helmet would help him pick up chicks, but at the moment, there was no alternative. He was offering them protection, and it had become painfully clear that they needed it.
Still…he said he was part of a resistance and needed our help. Nice way of saying “the losing side.”As Jade continued to answer questions, Kismet glanced around at the assembled characters. He needs our help? Looks like we’ll be picking up more than just our characters’ looks then.

Upon finishing her introduction Kunekune began to think more about their purpose for coming together like this. Surely the others were thinking of similar things, but she couldn't be sure as the crowd seemed a bit cheery.
Through the commotion she chanced upon a small girl clothed in white who seemed to be ignored by the vast majority of the group. One of her eyes held a deep reddish color, a very unusual color for one to have but at the time Kunekune thought nothing of it. Just her presence seemed to make time stand still, she could see the others only out of her peripheral vision, which slowly began to blur as the girl's eyes slowly made their way up and to the right, aimed nonchalantly at Kunekune. Her eyes widened--
A terrible explosion rocked the Dragonfly and sent chairs, tables, and various pieces of the structure flying about their heads. Some people were knocked down, some fell against things, but nothing fatal. Luck didn't agree with Kunekune though, who always seemed to be given the short end of the stick, as she was thrown backwards and bashed into the wall hard with her back. A tremendous crack rang out and one of the support beams fell on her in such a way that the chest was struck, the beam then riding down into her lap. Without a doubt she had been bruised, both externally and internally, and breathing was most difficult as a bit of blood peeked out of one side of her mouth.
Why, oh why...
Tears had filled her eyes when she felt the pain in her chest and her vision was terribly distorted, compounded further by the smoke that still clung to the morning air. Eventually the haze dissipated and Kunekune could make out a figure standing in the middle of the rubble, a tall person with long, brown hair and a distinctively blue uniform. He spoke with a commanding voice that was soaking with sarcasm, a rock in the middle of the rapids of events. A handful of others had aroused from the explosion and even a few asked questions, but Kunekune could do no more than listen and focus her eyes to see better. Unfortunately she could stand the pain no longer and slowly slipped into unconsciousness, seeking solace in it's alien but quiet arms...
