(Chapter 2: Mario vs. Giga Bowser)
Giga Bowser stormed out of the dark room, snarling like mad and let out a loud roar. Giga Bowser was more than twice the size of Mario, and took up about ¼ of the room. The bands around his arms were spiked, and could pierce diamonds without any effort. His teeth were sharp and could just as easily crush bones. The gargantuan let out a loud roar which echoed for a while before finally fading, and rushed towards Mario. The plumber, unable to react, was thrown into a wall from Giga’s tackle.
“Guh!” Mario hit the wall, hard, and slid to the ground. He had a big headache from that hit, and his cape had curled over his head and in front of his face. Now that Mario had “received” a sample of his empowered adversary’s strength, he knew what to expect. Mario got up and dashed towards Giga Bowser, and punched him in his armored chest...unfortunately, this didn’t seem to affect Giga at all, and the titan swatted Mario away.
“Hahaha! Excellent, Giga Bowser! Excellent! Destroy that little weasel!” the voice blared over the intercom. He slowly marched towards the plumber, and when he was close enough, lashed out his tail and sent Mario flying into another wall.
“Ugh....” Mario groaned. He was taking quite a beating. “Wait...it worked before, I don’t see why it wouldn’t work a second time.”
Giga Bowser turned and faced him, and Mario got up, ran for his opponent, and slid underneath. He was no behind Giga Bowser, and grabbed his tail and attempted to lift him up. However, Giga’s weight was too much for Mario, and he couldn’t lift him up.
“That trick might have worked once before, Mario! But it won’t be able to help you now!”

Fox was flying high above the skies in Corneria City, making sure that Wolf and his pals weren’t causing any trouble... but then again, how could they? They had finally been captured and the bounties on their heads were given away. Suddenly, a blue blur zoomed past him and cut the underside of his Arwing, which in turned caused it to spark wildly and Fox lost control.
“What the--!”
Fox pulled upwards on the steering wheel, but it was no use whatsoever. His Arwing was out of his control now, and went hurdling towards a massive tower.

Mario was losing his fight quite badly; Giga Bowser’s strength surpassed his by a significant amount. The walls were cracked from Mario’s impacts. A bruised Mario was now lying on the floor, unable to endure anymore of Giga’s wrath. Mario weakly got up and shot a fireball at Giga’s leg. The ball only let out a small explosion upon impact, but it seemed to work on the gargantuan, nonetheless. Giga Bowser let out a weak roar, which sounded more or less like a whisper, and threw Mario onto his back and began spinning around. Mario bounced around on Giga’s spikes, and soon flew into the air and Giga head butted him into a wall, full force.
“GUAG!”
Mario hit the wall so hard that cracks formed on the entire thing, and was on the verge of collapse. Suddenly, an Arwing crashed through the roof and into the room, and exploded when it hit the ground. Giga Bowser lost his balance and fell over, a chunk of the debris headed right for him and flew into his arm.
“Graaah!”
From the wreckage emerged Fox McCloud, his blaster in hand. He began firing at the gargantuan but the gun seemed to have no effect.
“Don’t bother,” Mario said. “His hide is impenetrable, it’s like armor!”
“We can still try, everything has a weakness!”
The thing was, though, Giga Bowser seemingly had no weakness. Nothing worked on him. Fireballs were useless, his body was practically armor, and he was too heavy to carry. Giga Bowser was unbeatable.

Link got up from underneath the rubble. His tunic was covered in dust to the point that it looked grey in colour. He brushed himself off and picked up the Master sword. A crack had shot up the middle of the blade, and the upper left corner of his shield was missing. Part of his tunic was also torn, but that didn’t concern him much at all.
“Aw man,” Link grumbled. “This is great; BOTH of my weapons are damaged. And what’s worse is Ganondorf escaped...WITH THE PRINCESS...dammnit...who made heroism so stressful, anyway? I blamed the Matrix for this! d**n YOU NEO!” Link hollered, shaking his fist in the air. He sheathed his sword and put his shield on his back. There was no trace of Ganondorf whatsoever, not a drop of blood, or sweat, nothing. Not even a speck of dust from his dark magic had been left behind. Ganondorf was gone... and there was no way to tell where he went.

Ganondorf and Zelda appeared in a dark room. Mice could be heard running around on the rocky surface. Ganondorf snapped his fingers, and the lights turned on. Zelda found she was in front of what looked like a jail cell; Ganondorf opened the door and threw her inside, and closed the door.
“Now listen to me and listen to me good,” Ganondorf snapped. “You and I BOTH know that the entire world is on the verge of being completely taken over. We have an army being built as we speak. There is nothing you can do to stop it. The world will be mine, and not you or your little boyfriend Link can to stop me. You can hope and dream and try all you want... but the truth is, I am much too powerful to be defeated this time.”
Zelda turned to him and said, “Then what do you need me for?”
“Because people like you are a threat. Did you really think that I, the King of Evil, was oblivious to the fact that you were secretly using your magic to aid Link in our battles? And, even in the one we had just moments ago, it was obvious. You’ve helped him in those fights all these years, you gave him strength. Had it not been for you, Link would have lost all those fights. And it looks like he finally did.”
“So, you captured me because I can use my magic to increase people’s strength...what makes you think I won’t use my magic to escape from here?”
“Go ahead and try, girl. It won’t work”.
Zelda stood up and attempted to teleport, but her magic only faded and she was still in the cell. “What the...”
Ganondorf laughed, “Hahaha! I told you that your magic cannot be used to escape! You are trapped here, and will remain here until you die!”

Mario and Fox were getting nowhere in their fight against Giga Bowser. The gargantuan had them outmatched. However, Mario and Fox both had a reputation for fighting something until the end, not willing to give up, regardless of the circumstances. Fox used his Fox Illusion technique, and he tackled Giga Bowser at blinding speed. He slammed Giga Bowser into a wall and...Wait...yes, he managed to actually HURT the titan! Anyway, Fox tackled Giga Bowser into a wall and Giga’s spikes left their indents. Cracks shot all over the wall, and was on the verge of collapse. Giga Bowser got up, nostrils steaming and attacked with his trademark fire breath. His fire shot towards the ground and Mario narrowly avoided the attack; his yellow cape, however, caught on fire. Mario fell to the ground and rolled around, smothering the tiny ember. He readied his fist and dashed towards Giga, but the giant turtle-dragon thing dodged and sent Mario right into Fox.
“Goff!” Fox snorted. The impact sent him straight into the ground, and Mario ran into a wall. Bowser leapt into the air for a body slam which would surely finish Fox, but just before he crushed the furry creature, Fox kicked the underside of Bowser with both his feet, and sent him flying back upwards. In a swift attack, Mario jumped up and Meteor Smashed Bowser, sending the Koopa King plummeting into the ground. Bang! Giga hit the ground with a boom and sent a small tremor underneath them, but he was surely defeated.
“Now let’s get the hell out of here,” Fox said to Mario.
