I'm sure none are aware of my whole liking of sneakers. I started collecting them late last year, and it's surely coming to a large amount. Why did I get into it? I thought to myself, "My wardrobe is kind of shit. Let me try to actually match my clothes now." Yeah... that's how it started. The sneakerhead gig is a bit... unfair in most cases. Nowaday a guy can't get a hyped pair of sneakers without paying extra from a reseller (mind you these guys want A LOT extra). So, the sneakerhead scene is dying off a little. Personally, I think it's really messed up, but I deal with it anyway. For example, a pair I wanted was 170 at first, I got online and waited... they were all gone in about 5 minutes. Mind you, I was on the website AS SOON as it released. But, it's whatever. Now let me show the pairs I have so far.
Air Jordan 11 Low Top "Bred": Amount Paid - $270 (Retail $170)
This is another take on a very popular Jordan, the Bred 11s. THESE were a pain in the ass to pay for. They were sold out in minutes. THEN, resellers were charging, 270, 280, in some cases 320. I was lucky enough to find a pair at 270. These are my "special occasion" sneakers. Only to be worn when I want to be formal, but keep my sneakerhead-ness visible.
Air Jordan 10 "Double Nickel": Amount Paid - $190
These are my first pair of Jordans. They weren't very hard to get. Matter of fact, they had some left the next day, a rare sight for a Jordan release.

KD 7 "What the": Amount paid- $230 (Retail 200)
Oh boy, what can I say? I have weird taste. You have to be a real fan of sneakers to really, "like" the shoe. I absolutely LOVE these shoes. KD 7 are my fave Nike right now, even though they've stopped production (eww KD 8...).
Lebron 12 "Trillion Dollar Man": Amount Paid - $155 (Retail 200)
These took a while to grow on me. They were 200 dollars and meh to me. This colorway changed my thought of the shoe. With a price drop like that I couldn't resist. Though, it is kind of hard to match clothes with them...
KD 7 "Easy Money": Amount Paid $125 (retail 150)
Like I said, the KD 7 are my fave Nike right now. So, naturally I'll have multiple pairs. These are pretty much what I match with anything that has white or green.
KD 7 "N7": Amount Paid $150
These are what inspired me to get into sneakers. That nice turquoise shade, the pattern on the heel... Pretty much what I match with most black/blue clothing-- goes great with jeans.
Air Penny V "Lil Penny": Amount Paid- $100 (retail 165)
Certainly one of my favorite pairs in my collection. They're just... live as hell! The pattern on the side and toe really caught my fancy.
Air Max 1: Amount Paid - $80 (Retail 100?)
These are my casual sneakers. They're not exactly, "sneakerhead", but they look nice.
Crazy 8: Amount Paid - $108
Every sneakerhead has that pair... the "beaters" these are shoes that you pretty much do work-work in, but have them to wear out sometimes. I'm not a fan of Adidas, but I really like these shoes.
