Hyrule
Twilight Princess (GCN)
Hyrule, land of gods, land of magic and monsters, and the promise of the Sacred Realm. Hyrule is a vibrant land of diversity, in both race and landscape, and is home to many races that peacefully live together. Although the land is eternally cursed to eventually fall into shadows, it is also blessed with the coming of a hero that will always rise to dispel the darkness.
Hyrule Castle Town
The main hub location and primary settlement of Hylians. The town is a bustling hive of activity, and also the location of the Smash Gate, but recent events have sparked fighting over the portal, causing it to be hidden within Telma's Bar, still active, waiting for visitors to emerge. Hylian Guards have been upping their patrols lately, a fresh breath from the usual laziness expected of them, but something is not as it seems...
Death Mountain
A massive volcano to the East of the Castle Town. Before beginning the trek up the mountain, stop in at Kakariko village, another Hylian settlement sitting at the base of the volcano's cliffs. Along the mountain live friendly mountainous people called Gorons. They are a rather friendly sort, but don't let that fool you. Their hardy resilience and rocklike skin allow them the ability to call an active volcano their home.
Zora's Domain
Up in the North, there exists a long flowing river that goes through a large grotto. It is here that the Zora, a fishlike race, call their home. They keep the water clear, and often make treks down the Eldin and Kakariko gorge to visit the Water Temple beneath Lake Hylia. They can't stay out of water for too long, so it's rare that they stray far from water sources.
Gerudo Desert
A great desert spanning much of the land Southwest of Hyrule. There is naught but death in the sands for most Hylians, but those with true courage can make it onward to find the Gerudo encampment beside the ancient prison tower, Arbiter's Grounds. They control the tower and the desert, and are generally unfriendly to those who aren't Gerudo.
