I thought of starting up a weekly blog since it seems fun and that it seems like a fad now. May 3-10May 3rd was a very adventurous day. I live in a village in Alaska. During the winter our river turns into ice and when spring comes the ice melts and breaks. The Ice flows downriver and we had a flood in our village because the ice stopped flowing, so it was basically a dam for the water and its only place to enter was our village. I spent most of the day canoeing. Thankfully the flooding only lasted only a day. Usually we would have water in our village for a few days to a few weeks. The rest of the week was not as exciting since I have had a bad cold for almost 3 weeks, but now I am well. I have been out of school for that long and now there is only 2 more weeks left! I am now preparing myself to get trained to get my Private Pilot's License. Ground School starts for me in about 2-3 weeks. One I get the license, I shall be able to fly and enjoy the sky. Yesterday I transplanted my dragon fruit. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pitaya It is one of my favorite fruits that I get every year and I am trying to grow them under neath an aero garden lamp. This is all for now until next week. Thanks for reading my blog!

Yay, another blogger! Alaska, eh? ...Can you say "maverick" for me? Please? Maverick There I said it, lol. Yes, I am in Alaska May 10-25I am in a rush because I have to go to bed soon. I could not do an entry last week because I was doing other things, sorry. A summary that has happened for the past two weeks: - All of my equipment for getting a Pilot's License came in.
- Passed my High School Exit Exam; although not graduating because I want my school to pay for my college so I can get some college credits by the time I reach 12th grade.
- School is out for the Summer!
That is all I have for now. Thanks for reading my blog!

Even though it is double posting, I know it is wrong, but this is my blog and I don't want to delete or modify my previous post. This was my weekly blog, then I did not keep up with it and being that I had no access to this for a while, I am going to change this to "Sharpay's Blog" to where I will update it whenever I want to.
The village I live in, we are now experiencing temperatures from a range of 30 degrees F to 50 degrees F. In a few months we will hit -60 degrees F. Lately I have been playing "Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat" for the Wii system, "Need for Speed: Undercover" for the Wii system, and "Nancy Drew: The Haunting of Castle Malloy" for Windows Vista.
I am busy at school, doing college work of English and Computer Programming: Java. My evenings usually deal with my Java course which is like learning a whole new language. This coming Tuesday I am taking the ACT Test and the day after that I am taking the PSAT Test, and then Thursday-Friday is Teacher's Workday! (No School for Students)
Recently I have been doing more indepth reseach for colleges I want to attend. At times it gets depressing though, I will hate to move away from my family and pets and another side of me is glad that I will be moving away....
This is what I am posting for now. I will try to update this blog again soon.

1. Double Posts by Author of Blogs is permittable 2. Yeah...college. I loved it... but i also chose the option of staying at home and going local, which i'm sure you probably DON'T have that option with your village, but i'm sure you'll make the right choice in the end

You are lucky by just attending local. We have 2 major colleges, but they are not local. The kids here think it is the best University ever (they have not even tried attending school out of Alaska) so I want to be one of those rare students that goes out of state for school, besides the major I plan on doing is not in Alaska.

Just recently I have finished my ACT and PSAT. I think I did poorly in all subjects except for math and science. Today I got myself my first cell phone and it is a Blackberry Curve 8900! I am actually the only person in this village who has a Blackberry, because everyone else want cheaper ones so that they can save money to purchase alcohol or drugs....
This is what I am posting for now. I will try to update this blog again soon!
