There are alot of different types of Japanese animation, and I wanted to see is your favorite genre.
I think that stories that blend a good amount of shonen and shojo elements seem to be the best, quests not all about violence, quests were people find love and adventure are really nice. Seinen series can be really good because they seem alot more serious sometimes and have some really deep storylines. Ecchi even can be good sometimes in small doses but I think a story get's kinda bad tasting in the mouth when it goes overboard or the Ecchi doesn't have a place in the story at all it just seems to happen.
I like Comedy anime.. but it feels like alot of them stick to randomness to generate humor and that is something that is really kinda growing old for me.
