I remember sitting in the mall near my home in a little bookstore named Walden Books and reading my first copy of Ranma 1/2. They were available in volume form then but I actually bought some of the issues in the standard comic format.
For a few years when I was younger and when we'd actually go to the mall, I'd ask my parents to drop me off there so I could read while they shopped. After reading all the volumes that they had there, I moved on to Akira (but to tell you the truth I didn't understand it at the time).

The Metroid manga was my first and last manga. I was quite epic. The ending was a bit rushed if you ask me, and I hate the way they made the chozo look. But other than that, top notch stuff. |

when i think back....I REALLY don't know...I believe it was some sort or random Shonen Jump manga but I cannot remember what.....first manga I remember not out of a magazine....a friend brought in a copy of Ranma 1/2 for me to read....loved it!!
