Hey. Everybody seems to know I exist, but probably not much about me, so I'll share too.
My name's Brian. I'm 21 years old, and current going to ITT Tech for Computer Programming. I'll be graduating in June, so I'll be getting a real jobs soon.
Since I have a 4.0 GPA and perfect attendance for the last 8 years I've been in school, you'd think I actually like school, but not really. I used to do pretty badly when I was in middle school, and I was picked on a lot. I'm usually pretty quiet, until I get to know people or somebody starts talking about Programming / Games.
My interests are: Games, Programming, Math ;D, Foreign Language (mostly Japanese), Anime, and Technology.
When I say I like Math, that doesn't mean I sit around and do math problems for fun... I like learning the concepts, since they can be used to do some insane things in Programming. When you start programming games, the engine uses all kinds of Math and Physics.
I've been a Nintendo fanboy ever since I got a Super Nintendo with Super Mario World for Christmas when I was like 5 or 6 years old. My favorite series is definitely Zelda. I couldn't even sleep after I first played Ocarina of Time (best game ever made, by the way). I went out and stood in line until midnight to get both the Gamecube and the DS the day they came out. (Unfortunately, I didn't have 3 days to stand in line for a Wii.)
I've also been obsessed with computers ever since I got one. My parents didn't want to get one when I was younger because they thought I would never use it, or because I didn't know what I was doing. -_- I kept messing around and learned a lot on my own, and got into programming because I always wanted to make my own stuff. I remember actually designing a website on paper before I even had a computer, and I learned HTML pretty quickly after I got one.
I have a bad habit of getting obsessed with something and doing it constantly until I can't stand it anymore. I do this a lot with programming. A good example is the SSB Fan Game I've been working on. When I first started that, I worked on it 8-12 hours a day. After a week or so, I kind of got sick of it and stopped for a month or so. I do this with anime too, where I'll start watching a series and end up watching the entire series in a few days.
I've recently been paying more attention to politics, even though I hate it. I think I'm more conservative than liberal, but not totally. One thing I've learned from paying attention to this garbage for a while: you can't trust anything anybody says on TV or talk radio. Everybody has a bias, and will always spin things the way they see them. Most people in the media are frauds too.
That's about it. I ranted on about random stuff for a while, so I better stop before it gets too off topic. I might add some stuff later.
