The hustle and bustle of the city had never been his style. But a lot of things weren't his style. He was a lot of things but a city person wasn't one of them. No, he enjoyed ruins. The massive stone pillars he stood beneath put him in a sort of a trance, staring up at them, not able to understand what they said to him.
He was a lot of things.
He walked around the pillar, staring at it on all sides. He couldn't read old Hylian, but he liked to look. He loved to touch the stone, to feel it under his hand. To see things older than him, that one something he liked.
But he was a lot of things.
He was a pillar himself. A pillar of peace. A pillar of justice. He was everything he had always wanted to be in a place he had never wanted to find himself in. Not that he cared much really, but it was something he did so enjoy. This place, these people. But not the cities. How they lived in those things he would never know.
His green cloak came off in the breeze, blowing softly in the wind. He didn't care much about it, he would retrieve it later. Now exposed were his gleaming gears and golden armor. Well, brass armor, but he liked to imagine that he was so ancient as these ruins, and as valuable as gold. He loved these things- he was a man who liked archeology. But he was a lot of things.
He was Alpha-Manganell.

Hylian ruins, not really a place you would expect to find many people. They are after all ruins, abandoned for hundreds and hundreds of years, with little understanding of the function that they played at its time. Whatever that may be, one thing was for sure, creating things like that would not be very likely to happen in this day and age.
But someone was around. Luckily the ruins could act as a form of shelter. The evening before, there was a thunderstorm, and someone needed to take refuge inside this abandoned place. Being too scared, the little girl who took refuge was too afraid at that moment to explore. Had she a light source, she would have probably done so, but of course, the child was only of the tender age of 6.
Having found rocks on the ground, she had spent her time drawing on the walls inside where she had stayed. The drawings were crude, yet cute at the same exact time. One drawing was that of, what kinda looked like a kitty, but its tail was kinda, not really there, the whiskers were extending a bit to far, and the face, barely resembled a cat in the least.
As the sun rose, the little girl peaks out, and sees someone examining the ruins. She was kinda scared, and yet she wasn’t sure what to do. Through her travels, she hasn’t really met any nice people. Nobody would look at her, let alone help her, that was why her clothes looked so tattered and ruined. She tried to stay quiet, but in the process of slipping out of range, she accidentally kicked the rock she used to draw, and made enough noise to draw attention to herself.

Alpha's head spun slowly towards the source of the sound, but he made sure not to allow his head to snap into place like it normally did. His systems hadn't activated, so it wasn't a target that was for sure. His face turned to a warm smile, his eyes filled with a gentle sort of warmth.
He put his arms behind him, hiding the weapons attached to his wrists from the newcomer.
"Hello there." He said calmly. "Come to enjoy the ruins?"

Misami got scared and froze the moment she was called out. She was a little scared, nobody has ever called her out. The voice sounded friendly, she wasn’t sure if she should come out, or stay hidden. If she stayed hidden, then he may come after her, and if he comes after her, the only place she could run…..is deeper into the ruins. So she had a decision to make. Either she takes a chance, and faces whoever is out there, or she runs. For some reason, she looked deeper into the ruins, and the glance was enough to tell her, she wouldn’t last long if he was actually hostile. He could probably easily catch her, she wasn’t very fast.
She had to decide quickly, before the person would approach. She ducks her head out, and looks over at the man. She doesn’t say a single word, as she slowly comes out of hiding. The ruins were still wet from the rain the previous night. She looked up at the sky, some clouds still hung in the horizon, but there was no apparent threat of more rain on its way. She decided, not to speak, until she could confirm, this guy was not like the others who wouldn’t even look at her without just walking away, or acting cruel in some manner.

So shy were the people here.
He didn't blame them- a man made from brass gears a pistons beneath plates of metal was something that most people didn't like seeing, and liked approaching even less. But hey, he could dig it. He was hip.
Anyway. He stared at the place for a short while, a few moments, before turning away, brushing his hand on a pillar as he passed it. His weapons were still in a sort of "off" mode, but he had no way of completely hiding it from the other person. It was too bad really, if he could just hide the damn things then maybe people would accept him.
"Take your time. There's plenty of things to look at around here."
He said warmly, but he didn't turn back to face her.
