A duel.. so suddenly? And to get back into Heaven? Nouri's eyelids and jawline practically drooped to the ground and there was no sense in picking it back up. Even at that, why would you challenge someone who clearly didn't have any arms upon them anyway? Not very fair at all was it? "Do I honestly look like I have a weapon on hand or anything?" he muttered, tossing his arms out to his sides.
SHKUT!
that sound of metal rang throughout the air ever so quickly. From his left sheave, he was concealing a retractable blade that came in handy during odd times such as. Simple with a slight curve, and single edged and unleashed with a simple wrist contraction. Though it was only the length of a short sword, it would be enough to fight to some extent.
I don't usually accept sudden challenges and all from suspicious dudes with giant swords and I can't say I'm the best in melee combat..." but to see him uproot that giant zweihander with one hand piqued his interest a bit. How could he lift such a heavy object without breaking a sweat. In fact, no one should be able to use that with one hand. He had to know just how he was doing all of that, so.. in order to know, he would have to win. Easier said then done though. However, you seem to wield that thing with supernatural ease. If its that light, I suppose I'll have to take it from you as a victory trophy eh?

Heishi looked at his sword and thought about its weight and what he had to go through to get used to it. " There is nothing light about this sword it is as heavy as it looks". Heishi seen the little sword that Nouri had and smirk on its appearance. Just how was Nouri going to get into range with Heishi's sword and if he could he has to be faster in combat then Heishi.
Heishi then without hesitating walked over to Nouri with his sword over his left shoulder and knelt down and said a pray just in case things got to wild up and Nouri ended up dying. Heishi then got up of his knees and backed away fro Nouri and stood ready in such a stance that his knees lowered and his sword pointed straight at Nouri and ready for him to make a move.
" If you are able to disarm me then you win and I will begin my deed to gain my way back to my rightful place......but if you end up dying then.....you die" Heishi thought the rules were simple and the deal was made Heishi just need for Nouri to beat him so that Heishi will waist no time on getting back into heaven.

Yeah, based on how they were positioned so far, range did seemed to be a bit of an issue but yet, so where many other factors like the weight of the sword and the balance of the sword in general. The King of Bandits had no time to worry about such jibberjabber just yet! Nor was he really trying to focus on the idea that this duel was to the death in.. some sorta way. The condition for his win was easier said then done as well. But, what can ya do? Nothing but try of course and that was was he did best. "Fine. A duel it is Pod'nah."
With those words to cast it all together, the young bandit brought his blade up to his chest and broke into a straight sprint towards Heishi, right towards the tip of the sword and all. First step when facing uncertainly such as this was to dive straight into it. Battle is about risks as it is and soon enough, he would see just how big of an issue fighting this odd character would be.

As Nouri ran straight toward Heishi without any fear or second guessing Heishi knew that this would be a very exciting battle. Heishi gave off a soft smirk due to Nouri's bravery but that was a dumb decision that Nouri made. Heishi jumped back while preforming a 180 spin holding his sword and with it reach it was able to commit a counter attack which would cut right threw Nouri's body if he came any closer to Heishi. Heishi knew that he would have to maintain his reach with his sword so if Nouri got in close just a little it would open up a weak spot for Heishi.

Well, what do you do know? He really did have a fairly swift swing with that thing and he could even jump with it in hand. Pretty keen he would say but, such cutthroat swings would not deter this little thief from the offensive. He was in a sense, more equipped to easily dodge sudden attacks and was a bit better then the average joe at it at that. His approach was far from some fool hardy blitz for one. He was analyzing his environment along the way, from the terrain itself to the gravestones around and about.
But more importantly, he was taking note of his opponents movements. A jump in the air coupled with a mid-air twist. Those movements were instantly taken recognized as a technique to build up power for a horizontal cleave. Nouri met this attack with a swift forward tumble. It was quick enough to evade the prospect of being cut in half, and with the forward motion, enough to keep him on the path to victory! Upon getting to his feet, he bolted right off the ground to his foe, his left palm now facing him. Nouri then swiped the edged side of his blade horizontally, aimed directly at Heishi's neck. This fight would be over unless... his opponent had something to say about it.

While Heishi's attack was no use toward Nouri because he kept coming forward and was now close enough to luanch an attack. The attack was aiming for Heishi's neck but Since Heishi had his dagger at his side he quickly pulled it out while softly side stepping to the left of Nouri and used his dagger to block the attack that was aiming for his neck by using his dagger to quickly reflect Nouri's blow else were.
Heishi was now holding his beloved cross sword with his right hand and his dagger with his left. He then used most of his strength to swing his sword to the hip of Nouri and if hit then Nouri would be cut in half. Heishi had no idea that Nouri was quick but for his size he could be expected. Heishi knew that this would be a battle that he might have to use all his strength and will to win but if Nouri wanted true victory he had to disarm Heishi's sword that was currently trying to cut his body in half.

"Hoh..." Nothing more then the sound of awe passing freely from his lips. Nouri's blow was daftly deflected off to a less dangerous direction but, once again, The King of Bandits would again prove that his unassuming appearance masked his rather remarkable combat prowess. Within a split second, this beloved blade had crept back into his sheave, his body twisting to the right. He did this instinctively to not only keep his forward motion in his step, but to augment his next move with the force of Heishi's.
Nouri simply swayed towards his opponent, presenting his right shoulder to him along with that extra bit of momentum he was granted. Since Heishi had opted for a side stepping evasion, Nouri was still within very close range, face to face almost. But, more importantly, this was the range in which not only could he attack, but he was under his opponents sword arm and near the hilt. That overhand slash wouldn't meet with his body at all and almost surely, his melee attack would meet and push Heishi back with a bit of force.
Normally, that wouldn't do much but, the environment was on his side. Their positioning was such that with Heishi's move, he had his back to a small gravestone just at the height of his knees. If he got pushed back, he would indeed topple over the stone and fall right flat on his back. If that happened, well.. he wouldn't want that to happen.
Even if he did dodge off to the side again or with more in depth moves, he would be moving into the gravestones which would limit his movement quite a bit. Not good to be on the defensive in that position and with such a big weapon. But would he notice all of this? He did seem to be focused on Nouri quite a bit but, who knew?
So far, this was getting exciting.

Heishi seen as Nouri had skill and was swift with his movements and used his speed to advantage against Heishi cross sword. Heishi couldn't avoid the kick because of the one handed swing he had preformed that shifted all his momentum with the weight of the sword making Heishi a bit off balanced. Heishi knew better then to wield this sword with one hand but he had no choice and paid the price but at a much lesser cost.
As Heishi began to fall to the ground he indeed fell on his back but only to pop back up and create further distance between the both of them by preforming a back flip as soon as he connected with the ground. When Heishi landed he quickly pocketed his cross dagger and then held his cross sword with both of his hands knowing that he couldn't do battle against Nouri with both because of his quick movements.
Heishi now stood about 5 feet away from Nouri but that ended quickly as soon as Heishi pocketed his dagger he swung his sword at Nouri and while still holding to his sword Heishi used the momentumm of the swords weight to swing his body around to preform another swing just in case that one didn't connect but this one would swing around Heishi's whole body in a 6 foot radius. Heishi's first swing was aiming to take out Nouri's quick little legs. Heishi was 5 feet away but the reach of his sword still was able to connect with Nouri, if it did.
The fight was exciting and hopefully it was going to last a little longer.

Ah, a swift recovery and a two handed offensive. It was admirable to see his opponent was no slouch and wasn't one to be beaten so easily, it was troublesome, especially with that giant sword of his. Still, he was visibly unshaken and still looking quite cool seeing as all of his limbs and digits were firmly attached to their correct places. Even more so, he had not even so much as broken his stance as he had still held the pose from his little melee charge.
But then there was the two handed cleave coming straight for his legs. That would be murder on his thighs if it hit. In fact the results could even be more grizzly then that time he didn't watch his chocolate consumption. But, his thighs and walking ability would be safe soon enough and it would be all thanks to the gravestone that Heishi just flipped over.
Drawing his right hand into the side of his coat, he made a leap to into the gravestone, right foot first and used it as a footstool to avoid the cut to his legs and to bolt off into the air towards Heishi without delay, just in the nick of time before the stone shattered to bits from the impact. In mid-air however, he drew from his coat something, quite interesting.
A firearm, revolver to be exact is what he had in hand. He aimed it down at Heishi and with the pull of the trigger, he fired a single bullet straight at his chest. It was just as deadly as any other fired from a gun and enough to break through metal armor just as he was wearing. It even had the speed of anything fired from a handgun and that.. was quite fast.
Just a little something to distract and deter his opponent.

The bullet indeed did distract Heishi but only for a split second. Heishi seen that Nouri jumped off a grave stone that was nearby and thought of it to be a good strategy for defending against his attack. As Nouri and the bullet came at Heishi he had no choice but to use his power, Nouri was worth it.
As Heishi still held the sword he squeezed the hilt of it and then pointed his hand at the oncoming bullet with a open palm. Heishi then released a small beam that was the size off the bullet or maybe a little bigger. The beam quickly melted the bullet that was aiming for his chest. The only thing that stood in his way now was Nouri that was coming right at him. Heishi then put his hand back on his sword to get ready for Nouri and then jumped up in the air and preformed a drop kick that would knock Nouri back and he would fall likely fall on top of some gravestones, if connected Heishi would use the force from the dropkick to push off of Nouri's face because that was were he was aiming and jump back on to his feet.
Heishi didn't think that he had to use any type of his power against someone like Nouri but he should have knew that this fight would be different just because of the way he was able to dodge his attacks. Heishi was enjoying this and haven't fought anybody this exciting in over 50 to 60 years.

What the heck was up with this guy? He had the speed and a means to stop his bullet? Ah well. It wasn't as if he were relying on that thing anyway and it brought him enough time to make what was appearing to be relatively safe recovery down on Terra Firma. That was until he noticed his opponent preparing for another attack! This was a most dreadful position to be in! He was going to touch down on the ground with those light little feet of his, no doubt but he wouldn't have much time to make a sizable defensive move to guard against that leaping attack of his.
He really had no real defense against this attack. At least not one of his own cognitive thought.
For in mid air, a familiar feeling washed over his body and without question, his limbs began moving without so much as his constant. His sixth sense seemed to activate at random these days but, this was a time most convenient for him. His left hand quickly clasped over his right wrist as he touched down, face to face Heishi's two feet.
But, Nouri was quick. In fact, a lot quicker then he usually was thanks to his abilities. With fleet footwork, he sidestepped to the right, barely enough to avoid two boots to the face. Now that his opponent was airborne and in a position where not only would he be unable to move, but without any leverage or ground to stand on, he had no means to generate any power to make an attack with that sword, let alone move it.
Time was of the essence and he wasted none of it. For as soon as he dodged, both of his arms shot up into the air, still in the same clutched position and and his firearm still firmly in hand. It was then that a long energy blade erupted from the barrel of the gun.
With the look of a sharp edge in place, there would be no guess as to what he was doing. He brought down his arms with all his might, in one single overhead slash, aimed right for his opponents head. If his attack connected, well.. it wouldn't be as grizzly as it appeared it would be.
His blade looked sharpened but in truth, it was completely blunted. Nothing more then a elongated staff of energy in a sense. A blow to the head with it would be powerful but, it wouldn't cut him. It would only knock him out cold and seal Nouri's victory.

One amazing movement after another Nouri seemed to be very good with moving around and avoiding attacks. Nouri didn't look like the type to be this fast or agile but looks can be deceiving because at the same time Heishi was also know for being agile as well. As Heishi dropkick missed he now knew that Nouri would take advantage of this moment. Heishi had to act fast because if he didn't then he would be very unlucky and get cut with what looked like Nouri's very sharp blade.
Heishi acted fast by planting his sword into the ground but still holding onto the Hilt with both hands and used his strength to spin to his left by balancing himself with the sword's weight. Heishi spun to the left the opposite direction of Nouri's sidestep. Heishi then planted his feet on the ground and didn't hesitate and immediately tried to attack Nouri by preforming a leg sweep to try to get Nouri on the floor and then would follow up with a with to side kicks with both legs but starting with his right and finishing with his left . The left aiming for Nouri's face and the othe aiming for his chest.
Heishi didn't want to kill Nouri and by far he has been trying hard too. Heishi had been smirking while he spun off his blade to avoid Nouri's attack and thought how and in hell is this kid this fast and almost as fast as Heishi. Heishi really didn't care about the fact that he was being out classed in the fast movements department of this fight because the fight was good and Heishi wanted Nouri to beat him kind of because it would be a honor to serve under him until he got back into heaven.

Impressive indeed for him to be able to recover like that with his sword and twist away to avoid that blow. Nouri's eyes promptly followed after his speedy challenger, his body turning in unison. He soon found himself drawn to Heishi's footwork , taking note of the leg attack aiming to sweep him off his feet. He couldn't let that happen now could he? With the blade long since vanished from his weapon, Nouri hopped into the air, just enough to clear the length of the sweep itself.
Beads of sweat were already streaming down his face. Avoiding these attacks as they were easier said then done but, upon hitting the ground, there were more attacks coming his way yet again! Another kick was being aimed for him, this time, a right kick at his chest. In the face of this attack, Nouri turned his body to the right, narrowly avoiding the first blow.
To combat the second blow aimed to his face, his knees buckled and his upper body pitched backwards, just in the nick of time to avoid the attack and just enough so that his balance and ability to counter attack wouldn't be compromised. Abruptly, his body snapped forward and he aimed his revolver once again at his opponent, firing two rounds towards him at the already close range they were within each other.
Like his blade, these rounds were this time around, blunted. They would most likely penetrate his armor like the more lethal round he fired just once before but these wouldn't break the skin upon impact. In fact, the shots would be powerful enough to end this fight and without any needless bloodshed. His opponent was really good as it was. Fighting like this was less then convenient seeing as this was a duel but if he could, avoiding injury was what he wanted for both himself and Heishi.

"Jigoku Hikari" was all that was heard from the mouth of Heishi until he vanished from in front of Nouri and escaped the bullet's that were aiming for him. Heishi was impressed on how great Nouri is and how much work and skill he push him to use just to stay alive. Heishi wouldn't think no less form the title of a king and now Heishi was force to use a technique that enabled him to move unseen by the human eye.
Heishi would now appear from the back of Nouri and attempt a round house kick the the back of Nouri's head. Heishi knew that with this technique would give him a advantage in fighting but would drain his life force so Heishi would have to end this quickly.
The whole time Heishi had been holding onto he hilt of his sword while it is placed on his back. If Heishi lets go of the hilt of the sword then e would probably lose the duel because he must not be disarmed. Heishi would also lose the power of this technique until he speaks the words needed to use it again.

With only two words, he had vanished into thin air, leaving the young thief a bit perplexed and rather tense. He had disappeared only after he had spoke "Jigoku Hikari" which could only mean this was something willed. What it was however, he didn't quite know. From the looks of it, it could have been anything from teleportation to invisibility. Whatever the case was, it could only mean trouble.
And trouble soon followed. Within a second, he had felt the movement of air right behind his back and the presence of someone right within his blind spot. Heishi it had to be without a doubt. It was in the face of this danger that Nouri's senses once again sharpened and once again, he could feel the influence of that strange, uncanny sense that had saved him once before.
However, it didn't activate in a way that would have been convenient for him like last time. Instead, his thoughts were instantly drawn to Heishi's giant zweihander. The thing he needed to take away from him in order to win the duel. Odd as it seemed his mind was showing him pictures of the metal being peeled back to reveal.. a shining light within the center of it.
This thoughts circulated as his mind as his body automatically began reacting to the danger at his back. His first instinct was to dash forward and try to turn around to retrain his sight. He managed to move in time to clear a full on blow from his opponents kick but, the back of his heel had managed to scrape the back of his head, creating a small bit of a gash at the arc of his head.
Blood was drawn and lightly began to seep out of his open cut. However, it was a superficial wound at best and nothing to truly worry about at this time. In fact, Nouri seemed bothered by it as he made his move and twirled around to face his opponent once more, not even touching the area hit. In fact, he was even smirking at him, extending his left hand out at him, particularly, the sword positioned upon his back.
"This is an interesting fight.. but I think I have a little hunch about oversized butcher knife of yours Heishi." he confidently spoke. Just.. what was The King of Bandits thinking at this point hm?
