Yes, you heard right: Three more KH titles are in the making! Here's the interview: “About the next title, Kingdom Hearts 3 depends on Final Fantasy XIII Versus, but development of the next title is already underway. There are two titles other than Kingdom Hearts 3 in conception, and I think I’ll release one within this year.” “As from next year, I want to put out a title with multiple main characters.” “The series won’t end in Kingdom Hearts 3, more like the conclusion of the Xehanort saga.” “It’s not the case that when Sora’s story is over another hero’s story will begin; Sora will be the hero until the end.” And on the overseas version: “We added the Critical degree of difficulty, more cutscenes, more songs to the Rhythmic Ice Cream mini game, more Keyblades, more types of enemies and altered battle balance. I still can’t say we’ll release a Final Mix, but we can’t give it the generous treatment like with Re:Chain of Memories.” Source: kh2.co.uk/index.php?a=158As you can see, Nomura mentions that the KH Saga will not end with KH 3; unfortunately, we won't be seeing KH 3 until Final Fantasy Versus XIII is finished. Why Nomura! I love KH but the series needs to end because the story is getting way to convoluted.

Personally, I think the KH series should have stayed one game. Though, I didn't have a problem with the second.. but I feel like the series which is basically just a spin off of Disney and Final Fantasy with feel good storyline originals probably needs to die sometime soon.
Because unless they start journeying through Final Fantasy worlds or something.. or heck, just made their own, everything is going to end up repetitive.

This is also coming from the girl that hates disney In my opinion KH should end with KH3. There have been a lot of games and each played a certain part in the story. Unlike FF which always has different storylines, the KH series continues its stories from a variety of games. They need to end things before it gets repetitive. However knowing them, they will find some way to draw it out a bit longer. Its hard for companies to end a popular series that's making a lot of money. Greedy hoes....

I agree, they should start journeying to some memorable Final Fantasy settings because there isn't much Disney Worlds left. YOU TELL LIKE IT IS GURL! I was hoping for the KH series to end on the third installment as well, but NOOOOOOO let's drag on so we can make more monies. Maybe I wouldn't be so pessimistic if maybe Nomura took the spotlight off of Sora but no he's going to be the main hero to the very end!!

I have a neutral opinion about Disney and don't waste my energy hating something that doesn't' deserve to be hated.. I just am not like every other person and considers it something to be kissed on the feet of because it scared me and upset me as a child. I was sensitive.. it doesn't make my opinion void on the matter. I've played both of the "main" games.

I disagree. There are many, many other worlds that have not even been looked at as there are so many disney movies and such, you could honestly go on and on depending on how you drag that puppy on the ground.. but that's a story for another day =O
As for Kingdom Hearts being repetitive, I honestly don't mind it seeing as Final Fantasy is basically the same bimbo over and over again but dressed up in a different dress and with its hair dyed. She may switch up her voice a little. She may show you a new trick she learned from around the way, and she may show you a good time, but you're still fooling around with the same dumb broad. At least KH is a new one with a fresh twist that works surprisingly well.
I would personally lash out at FF for not changing the base dynamic for like 20 years first before I go after something that just came out like.. eight years ago and only has a few titles under its belt (though Square is milking KH hard by showing you all the different perspectives from the events of two but.. still.)
All and all though, I think they are going overboard with KH. I don't mind the different sides of the story and all and keeping one hero in the mix (seeing as thats one thing to keep it from becoming an FF clone like being) Just... I dunno lol, don't beat the pinata into pieces

When I'm talking repetitive I'm talking story and gameplay repetitive, same characters, same locales, etc myself here Bawb. You can only go to the same Disney worlds with the same character so many times before I wanna just fall asleep.

I dunno lol, don't beat the pinata into pieces While normally I agree with your opinions, Fredo, I must say your analysis of Final Fantasy is kind of wrong. I agree that yes FF, with each installment, borrows certain story elements or terms from past games, they are still different. Can honestly say FF I is similar to FF XIII? Or is FF III similar to FF IV? Not exactly. Each FF also has different battle systems. But honestly, that's the case with most long-running franchises: Pokemon, Tales of, Dragon Quest, Call of Duty, etc. The thing is with these titles/franchises is that, with a minor expectation here and there, each installment is a new story; Kingdom Hearts is a on-going story. Don't get me wrong, I love KH but unless Nomura has a very good story ahead of us, this series is going to get convoluted fast. I have yet to play 352/2 or whatever its called but the Xion's backstory was dumb. Also, while am excited to get my hands on Birth By Sleep, some the new twists introduced are also odd and obtuse. I really hope Nomura can tie up the loose ends in the upcoming installments. Now for the Disney world issue; what other places can you suggest? It doesn't seem like they are going to be adding Pixar Worlds, so what does leave us with? The Jonas Brothers Concert? I kid. But seriously, what other interesting worlds are there? I would love to see Sword in the Stone and the Black Cauldron, and for lolz Pete's Dragon.

I didn't exactly mean in terms of gameplay Mama. I meant storywise. All final fantasy games have the same core story and elements from my analysis. Its just a matter of making it look different. I personally think 8 and 10 had the best stories that felt completely anew in a sense but that's a matter for another day.
Gameplay in KH is alright for the most part but they still need to do more tweaks and make gameplay and enemies a bit harder. [Like The Unnamed Keyblade boss in Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix]
But, I kinda cut them some slack for making two seemingly outlandish ideas work together alright
As for the journeying of disney worlds, there are so many they could tap into but have yet to do so. They are just dragging it out too long with the same locations in 2 for example and not making the worlds quite.. expansive enough.
For new worlds, I have thought of these off the top of my head. You can go classic disney or tv shows and some of the newer movies.
~The Sword in The Stone [This is Merlins world. why the CENSORED aren't we there yet?? I wanna help Arthur D:]
~Robin Hood
~The Aristocats
~Sleeping Beauty [We get Maleficent and the three lady fairies and yet.. we have not been to that world yet..]
~The Hunchback Of Notre Dame [hunchbacks are neat]
~Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 [Classical music with disney characters acting out a story that accompanies it. There is potential for cool musical stuff to be done with it and not like the crap mini game they had for the little mermaid]
~Atlantis: The Lost Empire [Good movie and underated]
~Treasure Planet [space age pirates. Need I say more]
~The TV series Recess [Because kicking kickballs with Gus would be fun. Minigame potential.
I could go on and keep giving different movies but.. it would get tedious. On that note, they should consider adding final fantasy worlds and.. actual ones. If they do that, things will get better as well.

Very well, my child. :3 Agreed; supposedly, the English version of BBS is going to harder than the Japanese version. I would like to have the chance to control characters beside Sora. I been saying this since KH I. That would be most delicious. NO! Pete's Dragon instead! RAGE1!!!1111 fufufufufufu O rly? kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/Enchanted_DominionNERDGASM! fufufufufufufufu Sounds sexy and I think it would fit into the world of Kingdom Hearts very nicely. Never seen it. I always wanted to, though. Again, never seen it. Always wanted too. I rather have Dark Wing Duck or Gargoyles since they put Nightmare Before Christmas and that was under Buena Vista. Thinking story wise, I think we might not get that. Some of FF VII and VIII characters are denizens of Hollow Bastion, some of FF X cast are denizens of Destiny Islands, and some of FF IX and VI cast are denizens of Twilight Town.
