The previous attempt at a battle ended up in just a bunch of confusion. Wrong teaming up, she guessed. The medic wasn't here for this match though. She hoped that meant she was still going to be alright for this match.
Arriving fairly early, she had a chance to scope out her surroundings. The sun was setting, it was a beautiful sight. Ai guessed it was around 6 oclock or so now. There were a few clouds in the sky, they looked pretty bad. Not to mention they were moving pretty fast. She hoped they weren't going to disrupt her match. She was kind of looking forward to it, what with the new delays.
The trees around her made the air feel crisp. It was late summer to early autumn. Everything seemed orange today. What did orange portray? No clue. White meant purity, red meant love or violence, but what did Orange mean? Ai was stuck. Though, it gave her a chance at something to do before the others got there. Or, wait, was she supposed to meet them?
Actually, what if the match already started?? She was just a sitting duck there! Luckily, she knew her opponents. This was a closed off area of a forest. about 150 meters in diameter. A great place to get ambushed. It was Isaac, her and the other guys. If she met anyone, that would be her enemy. She was determined as anyone could ever be. She just hoped they didn't start without her.

The sun began to set, and Kin was deep in the forest, changing into his black camo pants, and painting his bare chizzled chest with all sorts of dark colors, Kins plan was to blend in, He even put his hair into a pony tail. Then he remembered what his old mentor snake had told him.... he could hear his voice again, just like he remembered. Kin closed his eyes and suddenly he was brought in a whole new place. This time he was in another jungle setting, and standing before him was someone recognizable. But he was different in a way, it looked like snake, but a little bit more like kin too. This snake, had a beard, and an eye patch too. and was dressed in the same manner as Kin. "Your in the jungle now kid, just remember your only as good as your camouflage, in this type of battle, use your head first, then your weapon" Kin opened his eye, like a warrior. He stood up, and climbed the nearest tree, he looked at the sunset, and began to go in a warrior state of mind.

Isaac was horribly late for his match, not that he really cared... By the time he had reached the forest, the sun had almost completely set, he also noticed that there were some dark clouds in the sky, nothing to bad though, they would bring a moderate rain, but the moon would be big and bright tonight, so he wasn't to concerned. Running a quick mental "scan" he had come to the conclusion that his total efficiency would be hindered by about...oh, 30% or so, nothing too serious...
Hell, he didn't even know if this fight was going to go through or not, his last fight was cancelled before he even got a chance to meet his partner, not that he was really interested in meeting her. However, this was a team tourney, and from his last look at her, it seemed that she was a long ranged fighter, and he figured that, with a large margin compensation due to conflicting personalities, their effieciency as a team would range from 60-85%. That, and that reason alone was why he was about to do something he knew was incredibly foolish, however, the forest was big and the trees were thick, he didn't want to waste anytime finding her.
So, at the top of his lungs, he shouted, "Ai!!! It's your partner Isaac! Get your ass over here!"

OCC: I will bold my text when I'm using a Fourth Wall ability. My abilities only effects her opponents so SLE and Gray need to pay attention to what I do. Good luck... Didn't we have a free pass to the next round?... Why are we here? "Well thats quite simple Kashouneko..." Ayame picked up a nearby twig on the ground and cracked it across her knee. "We are here because these lazy motherCENSOREDing participants won't start their matches on time. Honestly... how hard is it to start a damn thread?!!!" She quickly realized that she was talking too loud. With a deep breath, she calmed down her rattling nerves. It was a real annoyance though. She wanted to relax for her next match but instead she got sucked in because of stupid people. Life's rough right?.. Ayame grumbled for a minute as she kicked the dirt across the ground. It was quiet in this dark spooky forest. No birds chirping, no rodents crawling across the forest floor. All she could hear was some faint sound coming from the southeast. It almost sounded like someone was screaming something. Kin, her partner didn't seen like the type to give away his location so there was only one conclusion she could come up with. That was her opponent. Ok..... What kind of idiot gives away his location?.."One that is very smart or very stupid. Either way I think I'll do the same." Ayame summoned her blade and stuck it into a nearby tree. She then ran up the tree to sit on a strongest branch she could find. "Please sing Kashouneko. I want to meet our opponents." Her guardian wanted to ask why but she saw the confidence radiating from Ayame's bright green eyes. It was enough to answer her questions and worries. A yell from the opposite direction she was facing. Was that really her partner? He sounded the same, she knew that from the little meeting they had earlier, but it seemed as though he was trying to get himself killed!
What should she do? She had no time to waste, the sun was starting to set, so she set herself up as if she was a sniper. Activating her Hirenkyaku, she skidded along the pathway to what she thought was her partner. Hopefully she would arrive with him still alive.

Kin was now ready to go, he jumped down from the tree and began to walk around and scout his area, but suddenly he could hear a loud noise coming from a different location of the forest. "Hmm, sounds like its happening over there" Kin thought to himself, walking around the forest, sneaking from tree to tree.
Kin was heading to the others location.

Huh, his shouting seemed to have stured things up... just like he thought it would. Already he could hear some music coming from another part of the forest. However, his interest was drawn towards a shuffling sound, which appeared to be getting closer.
While he was hoping that it was his tactless partner, he knew that it was wrong to assume anything. So, he stood up, his back arched to were it accented his broad shoulders, while his hands were put into his pockets, creating a passive position, which was also primed to get in a offensive position. His head turned toward the rustling, he awaited whoever was coming.

Time went by as the sky grew darker and darker. After a while, it was finally pitch black. All that lit the forest was tiny rays of light coming from stars, millions of light years away from the planet. Ayame stared at the nighttime sky, not thinking about anything in particular. She wasn't even thinking about the match. I mean she was not surrounded by the cover of darkness and her opponents weren't following the music she made for them. It was all so boring. Kin was nowhere to be found either. She was all alone, alone with nothing but her guardian and the stars to keep her company. She managed to point out the big dipper and a few of the other popular constellations in the sky. It was cool and everything but it was lonesome. She would rather be ballbusting right now to be honest but battles weren't all about power or speed. You simply had to wait till it was the right time to strike. Ayame folded her arms over her chest and closed her eyes.
"A little rest wouldn't hurt....."

A tiny drip, what was this? The sky was slightly darker than before, no doubt. But now it started showering upon the forest. That's gonna impede her abilities, she hoped she wasn't far from Isaac now. If she calculated correctly, she only had about 10 meters to go. This was just before it. Now it was starting to pour. (I hope you fall off a tree, star >  ) Thankfully, there was still a bit of light out. And judging from the sky, the full moon was developing. The light from that would've helped a lot. Hopefully, all of this together would let her be free. 5 meters left... She decided now, against her better judgement, to call upon her bow. She stood still and grabbed her chest. The sun was starting to set faster than the moon was, so there wasn't as much light. Let's just hope the energy around her doesn't get absorbed too much, otherwise she's just a lantern asking people to shoot her. |

"Good, Night time" Kin thought, He was dressed in the appropriate attire. Kin was close to where the noise was, but everything seemed to get quieter, The only thing that was against him now was the stars. Kin knew there was someone around, but if he focused hard, he would be fine.
