Personality: Angeleyes is a very compassionate person. She wants to go out of her way to help anyone even people who have done her wrong. She tries to maintain an optimistic outlook on life and looks for the silver lining in every cloud. Although bubbly she is still very shy and will usually opt to keep her mouth closed and suffer than try to get her way. Although the scientists state that the chemicals caused her psychic abilities, she believes that she was gifted these abilities from God and praises him for her powers.
History:
Serena Taylor was always dragged around by her father, the pastor of a local church in her hometown in North Dakota. She went with him and her mother on every trip and moved to California when she was five while he worked for a church there. She spent that year mainly with her grandmother who lived near the church. However after that year, her father felt the need to go to South America as a missionary. Saying goodbye to her grandmother and everything she knew they headed for South America. She was not to return to the United States until her senior year of High School. Her parents, having home schooled her for all those years decided she needed at least one year of real school before going out into the world on her own. She kissed her parents goodbye and boarded the plane back to her grandmother’s house to attend her upcoming school year.
Having lived in a Latin country it was almost humorous that her first friend was Dylan Ortiz, a local Mexican boy who enjoyed surfing. She would hang around him and his friends just watching them in the ocean. It was through Dylan that she met Conner Farris. She spent her first months in the new school bouncing between classes with Dylan and Conner till it tame time for the senior two week pre-Christmas trip to Alaska. Her grandmother, who was also religious like her son had been praying for her safety and as they left for Alaska, she gave Serena her own Cross Necklace for protection. Like Conner, that was the last time Serena would see her family exactly the same as she always had.
During the militant attack (See Cyberbite’s profile for details), Serena stayed in the main room ushering people through the door. As armed soldiers approached, she slammed the door shut and locked it but as she did, a bomb exploded shattering the glass and covering her in a strange liquid. She began to rub the cross necklace between her fingers and pray for mercy and protection. Somehow, be it luck or divine providence, it matters not, but as she was praying, a man appeared and ordered the soldiers away stating that the boss would not be happy about this move. They immediately retreated. The next few minutes were silent until they were sure everyone was gone. Hoping to help anyone outside she ran out the door to look for people. Several were already dead, but she ended up pulling her friend Conner from a pit full of the liquid that had gotten all over her. Luckily he was still breathing.
As she sat with his unconscious body in the hospital she began having terrible migraines and hearing voices. It kept getting worse and worse and she started feeling things. Emotions would rush at her randomly; fear, depression, anger, excitement. It changed as the people moved by. She went for her own brain scan to find the source of the pain but upon her return Conner was missing. Commotion was heard down one wing and she followed the doctors and nurses to witness a terrible beast, but an emotion ran at her, one of extreme fear. As she walked forward and looked at the creature, she recognized the person within. She began thinking calm thoughts and the wolf calmed. That day she not only saved her friend but found her power of changing emotions.
As the years went on she developed more powers such as levitation and telepathy working with Cyberbite and the others for the government and even beyond. She currently is living with Cyberbite, the love of her life despite a long waiting period involving an oblivious and love-struck succubus.
