I. Personal Overview

Appearance:
A typical cat any way you look at it. Patted short jet-black fur, it’s pretty soft too. His eyes are a shade of green comparable to a lush forest along with black irises. The torso is lean and fit, being just at normal body weight. Long slender legs with slightly large paws make up the lower region. The whiskers are about 4 inches long; the tail is about half a foot. The muzzle is blunt and wide, making for a sneering effect. Big broad ears attach to the top of the head. No real distinguishing characteristics, except maybe the untrimmed nails or the soft paw pads.
Personality: Not being able to speak helps it’s personality a lot. Many see him as a cute little kitty, nothing bad about it. They’re right for the most part. He’s perfectly harmless. His mind wanders for adventure, but mostly, he’s just trying to make a living. He will not react to humans in a crowded area, in these situations; he would rather be out of sight, so he just ignores them here. Around night time is when he is most active, knowing humans retreat at later hours, he prances about, taking in the sights. During these hours, though, he will be startled by any lone humans. Eying them suspiciously for a minimum of 20 seconds, he will flee if they make any sudden movements, get close to him or he spots something else. He doesn’t like public displays of affection, so petting doesn’t go well with him. He will slightly respect those offering food, though. Full respect is only reserved for those proven trustable. If anything, anyone who treats him royally will be respected; he will try to protect these people.
History: Not much at all has happened within his 2-year life span. He was born in a liter of kittens, most of which looking almost like replicas of him. However, the liter’s mother abandoned the kittens after about a week of teaching the younglings how to hunt and feed. Upon aging more and more, he learned to fend for himself as the bunch separated one by one.
Now he roams the streets as a wandering cat. Nowhere to go, but he isn’t going anywhere. Arriving upon the gates to another world, he decided to investigate. Now his mission or lack thereof, remains the same. Nothing’s changed, but the past shall be forgotten.
Transportation: 4 paws with the power to walk. Special abilities include running and bracing for jumps.

Unlike humans, who live such sheltered lives, cats can raise themselves. After being taught to do so by his mother, he isn’t a boring house cat now. He can find food, hunt, and even steal if necessary.
Claws
His only availability of self-defense. With his claws, he is able to hunt, defend himself, and much more. Not to mention they’re retractable and, if broken, they grow back after a few days.
Understanding of Human Nature
Even though they can’t understand him, he’s observed their kind for two years straight. He knows much about human nature, and realizes what the humans are doing or saying. However, he only understands human nature; this does not mean he will understand your average American family sitcom starring Bob Saggot.
Keen Eyesight and Hearing
This is only true against humans. In reality, every cat’s eyesight and hearing is this good. The eyes reflect more light and reflect it better than human’s. This is even better, as it reflects light during the night too, giving It visibility in the dark.
Weaknesses
Inability to speak
This creates a lot of problems. One being inability to compromise, settle things with words, or explain anything. This cannot be avoided by speakers of every language or people who can speak with certain species of animals. Cat isn’t a language, and the latter can only understand if they can specifically speak to cats.
Inability to fight
This impedes him greatly in battle. Being able to retaliate, he cannot actually fight. Once faced with a sword or magic, he may not be able to defeat them. The only advantage he has against anyone would be a normal human, seeing as they have NO forms of defense, whereas cats have 2. [/u]
Size and Frail Body
His small stature is a tremendous problem. Coupled by his inability to speak, this gives him even less authority with anyone. Coupled with his size, he is very fragile, like any other non-magical being. He is as weak as any common housecat. This doesn’t mean he has good magical defense either. He is vulnerable to electricity, ice and fire. Water and wind are especially effective with him, since it is common knowledge that cats dislike being cleaned with other’s water. Wind is mildly effective since he only weighs 10 pounds, against the average human weighing 100 pounds.
Distracted Easily
He is very easily distracted by many things. This could be anything, including a small noise ahead, a sparkling object or something hanging from the air. Usually, he will try to grab or pounce at the object in question. This leaves him wide open for others.
Fighting Style: He only fights with retaliation. Standalone, he will not strike, maybe he’ll stare you down to see if you’re going to attack him, but he will not strike without anyone else starting the commotion. When this is happening, he will be close ranged and try to stealthily strike with his claws.

Detailed Description: When not in use, he retracts his claws away inside his paws. Despite popular belief, cats do not use their claws to clutch onto things for climbing. They only come out when they feel threatened or challenged.

Activation: When above ground, upon instinctive will.
Detailed Description: An instinctive ability for all cats to have. Can only be used while falling or knocked back. A cat’s natural instinct tells it to avoid harm, and by doing so, landing on your back would be a horrible way to land. So, when the instinct kicks in, the cat uses its tail muscles to turn itself around in mid-air. Less time spent falling requires more force to be used to turn around.
