That metal human... no, not human, not even a living creature... at least a creature that she had seen. Its arm bended in a way that did not seem possible if one had bones in their arms. So exactly what was this... metal man... who seemed had no bones, and maybe... no limitations to exertions? Whatever the metal... man was, the force of his attack pushed the blue robed human, "Gavin" into the guard of the bridge. "That had to hurt... if the force was great enough, he could have broken some bones...", Ahel muttered to herself unknowingly, finishing her thought silently, "and end this fight...". Focusing on the fight rather then her thoughts, Ahel noticed that the blue robed human, "Gavin" appeared to be running in her direction... toward her! No, not appeared, but was running toward her, maybe trying to run away from his ... end?
Something wasn't right, the small feathers on her neck were rigid, and standing straight up, as if grasping for the sky... Something was definitely not right... there was some sort of energy in the air, sweeping and cutting, trying to break through... Fear flooded her body and lapped at her mind, and "it" almost engulfed her. She knew not what it was, the black darkness in her mind and heart, but it held deep sorrow and its hatred seared, like fire... her hated enemy, though she knew not why it was so. She clung on to her conscious with all her might, fighting to keep control over her own darkness. Her consciousness, she held it, but still the darkness of her heart and mind stayed, waiting and watching, till she slipped...
She whipped out her bow, and one of the few serenity threads that she had managed to make, threading it through the main crystal of her bow as she brought it to bear on where the sensation that caused her such fear felt the strongest. Her claws nimbly curved the thread, so it would make a sharp arc when it was released. As she whipped the bow back, the hood of her cloak had fallen back, while her orb pulsated around her head, glowing, almost ebony in color...

Running. Running was fine, although not what he had anticipated.
Alpha-Manganell rushed at his opponent, but the fact was his heavy metal body simply wasn't the same speed as his opponent's flesh and bones, leaving him to resort to another tactic, firing his Deepwood Missile in Gavin's direction, and hope for the best.
The concussive force of the weapon's release destroyed Alpha's sense of balance, rocking him backward and throwing his arm in the opposite direction.
If and when the weapon hit Gavin (or even something just beyond- Alpha wasn't picky and the shockwave was more than enough) the opening would be made for him to overtake the emperor once again, prepared to destroy or banish him.

Joseph leapt up the side of the bridge, his work mostly complete.
The first thing he noticed was that Gavin was in trouble. The second thing he noticed was that the gizmo guy was in the right spot. Thanks to high school physics, he knew about arches and keystones. This had been his intent. He would bring this bridge down, and with it, take down the construct. He just hoped they didn't die as well.
-------------------------------------------------------
Zeke flew along at an astonishing pace, zooming past everything in his way. When he passed a corpse, he knew he was going the right way.
He arrived at the bridge shortly afterward, noticing four definite beings, only two of which seemed mildly human.
One of them was the "Emporer."
'Looks like I get to start this up.'
He landed with his feet running, and sped towards the combatants, ready to lend a hand.

[Gavin]
The concussive blast from the missile had thrown Gavin to the ground just 10 feet from the girl and the distortion. He slowly climbed to his feet. He was about to resort to hand-to-hand, but he saw a few appearances, one of which he would be very grateful for. She came racing across the field, towards the machine.
[Kiri]
As she rounded the corner, she noticed thaT Zeke was already on the ground. She also saw Gavin fighting a strange machine. The machine had fired a projnectile at him, and it had exploded with a concussion blast. She could tell that this was no ordinary duel, unless Gavin had been using his magic. She flew towards the machine, her blade out and in a downward diagonal position, holding it at the upper right, blade aimed down to the left, also diagonal across the ground, to assist in a needed block.

[[[Okay, it's been so long since someone posted here. I'm going to do my next post. IF someone else actually wants to post first, I'll delete this one/edit it towards your events, but only if it's Elven mibs or Doctor Baron...]]]
Zeke reached the combatants, and, of course, tripped. As was to be expected, really. His hat flew off his head, drifting down into the lake below. As Zeke ruffled his black hair, checking for the hat, his green slit eyes peered up at the combatants, one of whom was looking at him rather oddly with a single, crazy eye. The other was black glass. He seemed to have lost it somehow.
Saifer crawled out of his robes, looking inquisitively at the blood-spattered teenager.
--------------------------------------------------------
Joseph watched the black snake warily. It looked like a cobra, but unlike any cobra he had ever seen before. It seemed to be curious, however, not scared, so he wasn't as worried about it as he was worried about the large metallic man marching towards the Emperor. Only a few more steps, and the other new arrival would be upon the robot. There wasn't quite that time.
"Hey, gizmo guy!"
Even as Alpha turned around, Joseph screamed
"Metal doesn't float!!"
The sword pierced the ground above the hollowed out area he had made. As the shockwave shattered the few remaining stones, the arches along the bridge failed in a domino effect. Anyone who was standing on the bridge found themselves feeling weightless, and then they noticed the bridge falling out from under their feet. Joseph, Zeke, and Saifer all noticed it a little earlier. As they fell, Joseph remembered that he had always had some trouble swimming...
As they fell, Saifer twisted over to Joseph, and wrapped around his arm, clinging on to the wrong person in the confusion.

((It's all good, don't edit/delete over me))
A strike of realization reached Alpha as he spun, his synthetic eyes widening as they fell upon the man and what he was doing. As quick hiss spewed from him as he attempted to spit out a swear, but it didn't escape his lips in time. The ground beneath him left him, his step backward slipping from beneath him, and his entire bulk collapsed into the ground.
More cursing and a sound of a metallic thunk resonated from him as he fell from his perch upon the bridge, where he felt safe. He fired off a shot from his Buster, but it went wild and struck a block, shattering it without a threat to anyone.
The feeling of hitting the water was exactly what he was afraid of in the very beginning of this whole ordeal- he couldn't swim. Not at all. His metallic body slammed into the water with a startling amount of force, immediately followed by the sound of stone grinding the metal inward, sending gears and springs outward from his body. His body sank, down to the very bottom of the lake, where he was met with the deafened boom of his own impact with the lake bed. That sound was immediately followed by the sound of a thousand separate booms of the billions of bits of bridge collapsing all around him.
He was buried now, beneath rock and stone. It wasn't a permanent solution for the people above, but they wouldn't have much to worry about. It would take hours, maybe days for him to dig his way out of this prison. Maybe he could blast his way out, but his powers had shrunken down to a fizzle without a target within his immediate vicinity. They had him this time, but only for now.

[Gavin]
"Metal doesn't float!!"
As he heard this, Gavin knew that the bridge was doomed. It had groaned a little, then as Joseph stabbed the bridge, it collapsed. The decrepit, ancient old bridge fell without delay. Once deprived of its keystone, an arch falls in on itself. The only problem with Joseph`s logic was that the bridge would not fall evenly. Due to having different amounts of stone in different places, the tops of the 3 arches would fall slightly slower than the massive chunks of the already ruined supports. As such, the bridge crumbled in on itself.
He fell...
[Kiri]
As she closed in to strike, the man with what she now realized was Gavin`s other sword had stabbed the bridge just as she reached it. She replaced her katana back on her back, and rushed to Gavin who had started to fall. She aligned herself so that she would fall next to Gavin, and doubled the gravity around her. She fell fast. Very fast.
[Anyone directly above or below her just got their weight doubled.]

[Oyes I forgot about this thread] [If you think its over... I wouldn't be so sure]
Everything was happening way too fast at once for Ahel to really understand what had just happened. The blue robed human, "Gavin" was thrown close to her, due to some sort of projectile from the metal "human". She would have to remember that the metal one possessed such an ability, so that she could avoid it. That is if she decided to hunt the metal one... It didn't feel right though to hunt him, he wasn't human and her darkness bore no hatred toward him. she felt a little pity even, emanating from the darkness in her mind...
She whipped around for a split second, bow still drawn and trained, to make sure that she was out of the fight between the "humans"... she didn't need to fight a battle on two fronts... that would be stupid and wasteful of her energy. No, It was more important to fight... what ever that swirling energy was and whatever was about to come out of it. After all, they would tire themselves out, wound each other or maybe even kill. It would make them all the easier prey for her threads to find their mark, buried in their hearts... foolish humans, they fight each other bringing destruction where they walk Ahel though. She had no particular reason to hate humans as far as she knew, but, that darkness in her mind was egging her on to spill their blood and to revel in it. There was a feeling of right, though shadowed by a feeling of guilt... for thinking of taking lives that had done her no harm, except frighten her... Could she really take their lives? And for what reason did she have?
The blue robed human slowly stood up with a look of, maybe relief? At least it seemed that he didn't break any bones,"Mores the pity", she murmured, not knowing where that thought had bubbled up from. Turning her attention back to the energy... well there wasn't any energy but two humans! One of the two humans, a woman, ran past her aiming to strike at the metal "human".
"Hey, Gizmo Guy!"
"Metal doesn't float!!"
Suddenly, she was falling, the rock had crumbled away. In her shock, she forgot that she had wings and began to plummet towards the lake, mimicking the blue robed human, "Gavin"... She unfurled her wings, but they couldn't hold her weight... something had made her heavier, and she plummeted down towards the lake, and landed with a splash, her orb echoing a second splash...

Zeke floated lazily on the surface of the water. He had been knocked unconscious, but had floated to the surface face-up. As long as nothing hit him, he should be fine...
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Joseph couldn't tell who he was falling towards, but he knew it was someone, and not something. With a thud and a great splash, he smashed straight into Zeke, and they both began to sink. Saifer lazily swam across the surface, off of Joseph's body.
As he began to splutter and choke, and his vision began to blur, Joseph felt someone pulling him to the surface.
------------------------------------------------------------------
As Zeke reached the surface with Joseph, knocked back into consciousness by the rather unpleasant jolt he had received, he really wished someone would find a way to not hurt him in such a way as he fell.
"You're a heavy sumbitch, you know that?"
Joseph didn't reply, he just vomited a little, and coughed up some water, both of which were stained with blood.
"Eww... What's your issue?" "Hell if I know." Joseph replied weakly.
Meanwhile, Safier swam back to them, bringing with him Zeke's pointy hat.
