Appearance: Since his curse, Octavious has the appearance of a living shadow, amorphic with no particular shape. The only thing that separates his being with real shadows is a pair of expressionless white eyes, lacking both pupils and irises, having only the sclera.
Personality: Octavious is very high of himself. Even in his cursed state, he views all others as bugs compared to him. Additionally, he is very cruel; he loves to prolong any suffering he administers. He follows only his rule. He is manipulative; he has to be in this new form. Octavious never shows remorse for any wrongdoing, rather, he demonstrates contentment and even joy.
History: Octavious wasn’t the most pleasant god there was. After all, he reigned over all that was negative. Regardless, he and the other gods controlled their own sovereignty, rarely directly influencing each other.
For eons, he watched from his figurative rafter as all the tiny mortal beings learned, evolved, fought, and died. Octavious quite enjoyed his job of using his own dark thoughts to sway the corporeal realm.
As he watched, he created a race of his own, dubbing them with a name: The Eluhaks. Using these, he created havoc and chaos throughout the worldly universe, since it was against strict rules to do so himself. The Eluhaks did their task; with their murderous, brutal ways, they created much of the evil in their dominion, though, of course, they weren’t the only source.
Ages passed, and the Eluhaks evolved. They went from mere pranksters to great warmongers of the universe. They conquered and oppressed all who lived, despite the other gods’ efforts. However, they weren’t satisfied with that. They went on to become a trans-dimensional threat. When there wasn’t anyone else to triumph over, they looked to their divine rulers. In the state they were now in, the Eluhaks were a very real menace, even to the immortals.
Needless to say, all but Octavious was mad about this. The everlasting divines held a meeting to discuss possible tactics for the oncoming Eluhak invasion. It also had a second item on the agenda: Octavious’s punishment. He floated in the middle of a blank white room, bonded by magic, surrounded by his brethren. When asked what he thought they should do, he replied with one word.
“Oops.”
With that, they administered their sentence. He was to be stripped of all his power. All of the celestial beings held their hands out towards him, and shot him with a constant beam of energy. He screamed as his skin was ripped from his muscles, his muscles torn from his tendons, his tendons cleaved from his bones, and his bones separated from existence. All that remained was a floating shadow-like form and a fraction of Octavious’s original power. But, before they could continue any further, the walls had been bashed in, and a swarm of Eluhaks ran through the hole. Before Octavious could witness anything else, he was sucked through a wormhole and disappeared.
Transportation: Currently, Octavious is a shadow, therefore, he can move around, though in a 2-D fashion if viewed by others, and zip on, over, around, and beneath objects (much like Darkrai when it’s in its shadow form). This takes about as much energy as walking.

Strengths: Octavious’s strengths lie with whomever or whatever he currently resides. However, except in his shadowy body, he is capable of controlling darkness, and very well at that.
Weaknesses: Octavious’s main weakness, is, well, himself. Ever since he was beaten, the god has been stuck in a mortal form: a living shadow. He can’t control darkness while in this form, he cannot be touched nor can he touch, although this particular part could be considered both a strength and a weakness. In addition, light is a very effective weakness. In his current manifestation, while weak light, such as fire or flashlights, don’t actually hurt him, he dislikes it very much and would try to get out of its way. Strong light, like sunlight, is enough to hurt and potentially kill him, though, if he inhabits a body that can withstand it, light won’t bother him as much. At this point, he can survive casual light but is still weak to light-based attacks.

Detailed Description: While Octavious has lost nearly all his abilities in his new form, he has gained this one. When he wills it, he may take over anything with a physical body. However, unless the host wills it, he is incapable of controlling them for more than one post. Possession doesn't work on anything sentient unless they will to be controlled. If the creature is self-aware, then he must ask permission in order to take over it. For that reason, Octavious prefers to take over things that cannot resist him, such as animals or corpses.

Detailed Description: With this, Octavious can teleport away from a dangerous situation to a safe haven. This isn’t very effective over short distances, so this is used as a last resort to escape injury or death.
