Ivan had come to his first town, and he was a bit excited. It was a smallish kinda town, but this was the kinda town that always had the goodies hidden in barrels or people's drawers or in the basement of the Mayor's house or something. He was going to wander around and find something.. and somewhat was on the look out for a specfic item in particular. An Alternate Costume. He loved his swimsuit, he assured himself as he pulled it again to keep it from giving him a wedgie again.. but it would be nice to have one or two alternate costumes like in most RPG games he loved.
Though he did note after thinking that, the alternate costumes were usually gotten at the end of the game. Either way, stocking up on items or money would be nice too.
He walked up the nicely laid stone path that was made as a makeshift road in the village. He guessed he was somewhere in the middle of nowhere, but people here seemed to be living comfortably. The first house was a red house with beautiful flowers on the outside. It had a dark brown roof and looked very pleasant. A bit shy feeling, he came up and knocked on the door. When he didn't hear an answer, he twisted the handle ot see if the game programmers left the door unlocked.
Yep. It was unlocked. He slipped carefully inside.
Noone seemed to be home, and they left their door unlocked because in this little town, almost everyone knew each other and leaving your door unlocked was common practice. Ivan however didn't really realize this, thinking this was similar to some RPG and thought it was just a empty house designed for people to go through. First, passing the boring looking living room he headed for the kitchen and started to raid the fridge. Finding a soft looking piece of white cake, he nom'd it quickly and in one bit like any adorable anime loli would. Walking around and leaving frosting on his face.. he started searching in drawers and such in the kitchen.. there didn't seem to be much in the way of anything to take.. only silly knickknacks. After a throughout search of the house, he found an interesting looking sunhat that he decided to put on.. it wasn't an alternate costume and he didn't think he would keep it.. but it did serve a purpose on this hot summer day.
Walking out of the house, he decided to search the town and talk to some NPC's before searching his next house.. not knowing he was becoming a little thief in this village and probably would become one further. When he came to the next house, a cute looking yellow house with toys in front of the yard.. he once again knocked and barged in when no one replied. Looked like the people where all having some kind of festival in the town square.. he guessed by the noise. Probably a swap meet, which would be perfect for him once he was able to get things to trade or sell.
