Personality: As you can guess, Insectvoria doesn’t have much of a personality. He has no goals, no desires. All he wants to do is exist. Almost always silent, he probably won’t interfere in anything unless it provided something to do.
History: Insectvoria was originally a human, that much is certain. What he did or how he was like isn’t, however. Some say he was an average human, going about his daily life with nothing remarkable about him. Others way he was some sort of wealthy philanthropist. Some have even gone as far as saying he was nothing, a worthless hobo that succumbed to crime to survive. Whatever the case, things changed for him.
One day, he decided to take a walk in a desert, the reason being unknown. Maybe it was some sort of self-realization quest, or maybe he was merely bored. Either way, alone he walked for miles through unimaginable heat and dryness. Suddenly, without the slightest warning, he fell into a quicksand pit. The sands grabbed at him almost like they had arms. As he sunk, the tiny rocks and pebbles getting everywhere on his person, the view from the upper world slowly shrinking, he knew this was the end. He tried as he could to get out, but it was futile. Soon his whole body sank into the quicksand.
Underground, countless insects swarmed over to his body. But, instead of feasting on him, they covered him, shielding their soon-to-be brethren from the everlasting grains. They sheltered him, nurtured him, and transformed him, in mind, body, and spirit.
After some unknown extent of time, Insectvoria rose again from the shifting light brown sea, forever changed. He had new clothes, new personality, and a new life. Several different insects crawled out of the sand and entered his body. Then, he walked away.

Fighting Style: Often he’ll simply fight using a strange martial arts style and mixing in insect attacks. His fighting stance somewhat resembles a preying mantis. This martial arts style, believed to be created by Insectvoria based on the preying mantis, relies on quick yet powerful movements.

In other words, he can take an insect’s abilities and almost shapeshift, making that ability his own. With this, he is able to grow various insect parts, or gain special boosts (i.e. strength of an ant, grace of a butterfly, etc).

Detailed Description: Insectvoria, when using this ability, can see what his insects see. However, this comes at a price. If he uses this ability, he loses his sight from his own eyes; the insect’s replacing his own. Therefore, he is open to attacks during this state. However, a sudden jolt can deactivate this ability, making him require to reestablish contact with the aforementioned insect if he wishes.

Name: Buzzing Swarm
Detailed Description: Insectvoria sends a swarm of bees, hornets, or wasps at his opponent. If the attack hits, it can debilitate his opponent with great pain caused by the poison from the bee’s stingers. It takes a little bit for the poison to dissipate (three posts).

Name: Insect Clones
Detailed Description: Using this ability, Insectvoria can make 2-4 clones of himself. These clones, being made of bugs (even if they look exactly like him) are highly resistant to physical attacks. Swords, spears, hammers, and even bullets, they do little since the clones can reform. However, they are weak to energy attacks.

Name: Living Hide
Detailed Description: Insectvoria summons to him cockroaches, which promptly covers him from head to toe, creating a living shield. When this is active, the strength of all attacks, even some of the more powerful ones, is severely diminished for the duration of five posts.
