Since 5 minutes ago, the air was awkward. Not much was said, not much happened. Then a man with blonde hair and black clothes with blue lacing came in. There he was, Gavin was gonna join in this thing. He had a sudden burst of rage as he saw something. Ai didn't see what, but he calmed as whatever it was spoke. Ai assumed it was just some guy he had some problem with. Ai played it off as she was either unnoticed or ignored. That would just make the atmosphere tense as he went to meditate. Ai just slumped into her seat.
Getting bored, she wondered what there was to do. She didn't want to practice or anything, seeing as she'd need to save her strength. Already deciding, she'd go for the legs. Most of these guys looked stronger in the upper body section, not many of them looked all that well muscled in the lower region. This might be kinda easy for her. Well, doing nothing was just boring. Ai decided this was a good time to go to the restroom, as she didn't want to have to later.
Actually, she might've. It might be a good excuse to leave earlier, or during the fights. Honestly, Ai just hoped there was a cupcake or something for her to nibble on. But that was a decision for later. It was getting uncomfortable right now, using her pass now would be fine. So, she stood up, using her arms as supports. She stood leveling her calves with her thighs, and stood straight up. Without a word, she just left the room. Hopefully, the fights didn't start soon or her fight wouldn't happen anytime soon. She was round four, and round one was usually first. Outside the door, there were some simple signs. Apparently, the bathroom was androgynous. Just what she needed, boys in her bathroom. She guessed this was just because there weren't many female warriors, or they didn't feel the need to build one. Terrific...

K-55 ran a thorough systems check, unaware if anything in particular had started in the tournament proper. He didn't care either, it wasn't like anything could do serious damage to him, not on the first attack anyway.
Venting a small amount of steam, the machine 'dropped' his saber again, so that it rested at the edge of his wrist, barely capable of being seen, ready to fall right into his had at a moments notice.
With a flash of red across his face K-55 inadvertently warned the entire crowd of this, but none in it could possibly have seen one such as him before, and the flash would mean nothing to them.

OCC: Mergh... sorry again. Let's just start this quickly please.
Amerial was a little scared when it came to meeting new people. It was silly but she couldn't lie about this. This man, seemingly the same age as her was very nice and cheerful but meeting him so suddenly made her withdrawn. Her first thoughts were to run away and get some distance but that would probably make him sad. Conflicting was the best word used to describe this situation. She didn't know what to do. Run or talk. Both had its own consequences and Both had its good points. Her face sulked down to the floor, seeing if the man would just leave her be. However the man that she saw lying on the ground suddenly rose up and was 5 inches in front of her face. She wanted to scream but the man talked before she could open her mouth. "Sorry to scare you little miss but you've been entered into a tournament." She was a little confused. Her presence has only shrouded this place for 5 minutes and she has been entered in something. It was strange. She lifted up her head and gave a cheerful but nervous smile.
"Umm... Tournament?"

Nouri expected well.. some sort of an answer. A word, a small phrase, perhaps even an audible sound for Pete's Sake! Instead, he was greeted with what appeared to be a look of dread and horror.. and then finally, her face sank to the floor. It was then that he realized something. A feeling from deep within that resonated out from the center of his chest and all throughout his body. These feelings manifested upon his continence in the form of a rather silly.. and yet melancholy frown.
He had felt "The Painful Pangs of Debacle!!"
And that was just a fancy way to say defeat folks.
However, in spite of the sadness of his first actual "defeat" upon his quest, he instead focused on what was obvious. He had in fact failed to make a good first impression. Had she been offended by his breath? Hm.. absolutely not. His mouth was fresh with the scent of adventure and Crest toothpaste.. which he was trying to ration off until he could find a better means of keeping his winning smile bright and white.
It couldn't be his smell either. Though he had no soap, he threw himself into a river each day and hand washed his clothes with river water. When it was time to pick a scent to smell like, he simply sniffed around until he found something somewhat nice smelling and rolled it under his arms and such.
Or maybe he just came on a little too strong?
Maybe.. but it was always so much fun to be optimistic when talking and greeting! To tone that down too far would result in a compromise of character development and saying true to the spirit of said character! For the sake of the story he was in and to prevent being a sellout, he would not "tone" it down!
Alright, just a little bit.
Within those two seconds of self reflection, he was back in reality and just in time to hear the trash he just took out speak out unto the world!
"Sorry to scare you little miss but you've been entered into a tournament."
Little Miss? Just what were these guys? Manslaves to this young lass? Such knowledge.. no matter how disturbingly interesting it would be to learn about would just have to sit on the back burner for he had heard something much more interesting and shocking!
She was in the tournament. Obviously, this was a lie!
But in light of this, he completely forgot about his resolve to take it easy and went fully back to his cheerful and whimsical self. He in fact, nodded his head down towards the fellow at breakneck speeds, and jabbed his pinky finger lightly against the tip of his nose
"Hey Hey "Guy Who Was Just In The Trash", I don't think a lady such as she would really be getting into a manly, epic, and sweaty battle with guys such as myself..
Oh wait.. he was in the tournament and he had to confirm his entry..
Ah yes, speaking of which, I was invited to the party! Which any of you two dudes or the young lady know where I could go and confirm that I will indeed test my might?
Seriously man! It is time to get the lead out and make preparations for battle! But at least maybe he could have a cute lady cheering for him this time around and perhaps one of the cute.. blonde, angelic looking quality at that!

*timeskip, 12 minutes* [Waiting room] The clock was almost at 7:00. That's when the tournament would start. Ai wasted a bit of time. Now there were only FIVE MINUTES left before the tourney. Ai decided to go to the arena. Hopefully, there would be something to do now. She entered the dual doors and looked inside. There was a crowd of people comparable to a superbowl. The arena was primitive, the floor was dirt and there were steel gates. Ai looked around, the Arena was made of bricks and looked incredibly old.
The only piece of technological advancement there was a giant screen hovering over the fighting area. It was projecting from 4 angles, so everybody could see it. Apparently, there were going to be cameramen in the audience projecting the fights. However, nothing was projecting now. All that was on the screen was a countdown timer. 4:23... 4:22... 4:21...
The crowd was tense, everybody was itching to watch a fight.

Armani casually waited for the tourney to start. He was fairly calm. Gavin had just broken his meditative state. He got up and began practicing his sword combos. Armani watched, to see Gavins combos so he would be able to block or break them. Armani focused his thoughts on strategies for the upcoming battle.
(Gavin and Armani both round 3)

There was never enough time in a day, and there was never enough time between anything, ever.
Checking his systems again, K-55 Marauder aligned everything in his memory, backed up whatever he needed, kept his Myomer muscles from becoming stiff from lack of use, calibrated his shoulder cannon, and adjusted his armor plating, all in order to get ready for the the quickly approaching fight.
A whirring sound followed by an error message made K-55 a little worried, as it had actually prevented him from raising his arm for a moment. Not really sure why that occurred or why it had brought an error message, but it faded quickly and he regained control over his arm. Goody.
Adjusting his footing, K-55 ran a quick diagnostic to discover the problem, but he knew he didn't have the time to find and fix it all right now.

[Since Star's character doesn't exist anymore and other posters have vanished, I'll just end my involvement in this topic. Cool stuff though. Lets try again later]
"On second thought, scratch that" he spoke aloud, clearly off within a world of his own. The idea of a sudden tournament like this just.. for some odd reason didn't strike him as very exciting anymore. If anything were to happen though that would be interesting however, then perhaps he would get back into it. But for now, he decided to sit down and take a long and well deserved rest on the empty bench before him. Walking here on foot was tough work after all.
