The trail having gone cold, Wario growled audibly at the speed of the cloaked figure. "If you would have just followed along like usual, we could have caught him!" he blamed Waluigi. He glared at his partner and brother in crime with malicious intent, but turned back to where they had lost his trail.
"Don't pin this on me, you overzealous waste of space." Waluigi shot back. They have had arguments before, many to be specific. Mostly about treasure and who gets to beat who. Waluigi meandered ahead and carefully scoped the surroundings, being sure he didn't miss anything that his fat friend would have. "Someone's injured up ahead." He informed and started a light jog toward the distant visage.
"Really?" Wario's hatred and impatience was forgotten as he charged passed his brother toward the hurt figure. As he closed the gap, he skidded to a halt and began laughing. "This is rich! You gotta see this!" He guffawed as he pointed to the beaten and slowly healing body of Ganondorf.
"What is the King of Evil doing here?" Waluigi pondered as he took the time to examine Ganondorf's slowly closing wounds. "You think him and Link got into another fight?"
"Nah, those two have been trying to create a peace treaty for a few months now." Wario informed as he calmed down. "I heard about it from a passing Toad." He added to cover his trail.
"Well, I think we should bring him to Hyrule, it's not too far away." Waluigi thought aloud. "And besides, when he wakes up, if it's before we get there, we can just let him walk himself."
"That's only if he isn't royally peeved by his defeat." Wario objected, but nonetheless hauled Ganondorf over his shoulder.

Ashford slid in and out of the crowds in Hyrule Market Square. He enjoyed being anonymous, the ability to slip in and out of the radar as he pleased and still get away in the end. His hand strayed to his dagger, his bloodlust rising once more as he slid past innocent people. It was hard for him to not slit a few throats while he was out on business.
He noticed a few guards were a little more energetic than the others and decided to slip through the back alley ways. Not much you can't do when you visit the back room. He chuckled to himself out of necessity and continued on. The castle was within his reach.
