Alright, I'm getting this game for Christmas, and I'd like to point out all the things that made me come to that decision...
The Graphics: Epic graphics and lighting effects in it make it look amazing. More epic Renaissance buildings and architecture blow my mind.
The new economic system: That's fucking right. You can buy stuff with money you earn. Not only is it just buy it and increase defense. I'm pretty sure it shows up on Ezio. Say you buy a metal chest gaurd... Oh look! Ezio is wearing it! I can't confirm this at the moment, but I'm pretty sure that's what happens.
The variety of missions: Not only can you follow the main story, you can have side assassination quests and secret locations. Every secret location you get through, you get a special reward.
New weaponary: What's better than one hidden blade? Two! Now you can take out two gaurds or two assassination targets at once if they're in the same area. The posion vile... You sting someone with a needle and they start going beserk. Not only does this help with assassinations, it's fun to watch and not get in trouble for it. There's many more weapons, but I must move on.
Command: You can kind of control a faction of people. If you need help with something for instance, they will help you. Whether it be, kill a gaurd, or distract gaurds/assassination targets.
Free Roam: Nuff said.
No, this isn't all, I just get lazy really easy. If you want the full effect watch the vids on youtube.
Discuss.

The Graphics: Epic graphics and lighting effects in it make it look amazing. More epic Renaissance buildings and architecture blow my mind. The graphics are very good and the faces are very lifelike once you see the dialogue sequences. The new economic system: That's CENSOREDing right. You can buy stuff with money you earn. Not only is it just buy it and increase defense. I'm pretty sure it shows up on Ezio. Say you buy a metal chest guard... Oh look! Ezio is wearing it! I can't confirm this at the moment, but I'm pretty sure that's what happens. Yes, you can purchase armor and it will show up on Ezio, however the best armor in the game is free, and you only need to collect 6 items to get it. It never needs to be repaired, which is also awesome. New weaponry: What's better than one hidden blade? Two! Now you can take out two guards or two assassination targets at once if they're in the same area. The poison vile... You sting someone with a needle and they start going berserk. Not only does this help with assassinations, it's fun to watch and not get in trouble for it. There's many more weapons, but I must move on. Yes the added weaponry was a good touch for this second game and you even get a gun. However, I found myself using the hidden blades and the sword the most because the rest was boring in my opinion. Command: You can kind of control a faction of people. If you need help with something for instance, they will help you. Whether it be, kill a gaurd, or distract gaurds/assassination targets. You don't really have command of a faction, just little spots throughout the cities where you can hire thieves, fighters, and prostitutes to distract things for you. Sure, in the story you are probably helping out a faction or band of thieves, but you have to pay every time you want to use them. The ending will make you go "lolwut" but overall the game was fun

Hmmmm, is it possible to change your armor. Like say I bought a black hood and then a white hood. Can I change between the two at will?

You can visit shops to purchase different dyes for your cloak and there are lots of choices, but you have to pay each time you want to change it to something else unless you are changing back to the default color.
Armor and weapons, though, can be switched out and appear on your character, and you must do your equipping at the Villa (you'll see). For some reason you can't do it in the normal menu.

The economics system is pretty easily broken where you get infinite money... and the best armor is free anyway (which sucks, because i really liked my coloring/the look of the second best armor), so what does it matter?
Other than that and the story that gets a little bit too far up its own ass for my liking, I love this game.
