Lazus' command was taken in and she turned around slowly.. looking up at them she felt very compelled to tell them exactly what was going on. "When I'm around people.. they get what I have. I don't know why but they get it.. but when they go away they seem fine.." she said, looking down at the ground with a sad look on her face.
And now her friends were going to leave her. She knew it. No one ever would stay around someone who was hurting them and making them have such negative feelings. Nope. Never. In fact, in fact she was sure that they would love her to be gone. They would be happy, alot more happy. She was going to have to relook, re-search for light in the world.. and she didn't know where to start looking. Having already decided that this was the right answer for her, she stood up and started slowly walking in the other direction.

Other people get what she has? Lazus thought, trying to figure out what that exactly meant. He looked again to Millica, seeing the strange, taxing effort it was taking to hold herself together. Weird. Why wasn’t he effected? Turning his gaze down upon himself, he noted that he lacked most of the characteristics other living creatures did. He would never be infected by a virus, for example. Was the girl diseased? The thought of thousands of microscopic pathogens clinging to his clothing both excited and repelled him. On the one hand, that was totally nasty. On the other, it couldn’t effect him at all, so it was like a force field. Made of plague. Or something. Mayhap there were perks with sticking with the girl.
Then again, she really wasn’t much of a conversationalist. And she moved slowly. And couldn’t fly. Lazus shrugged, and turned to Millica. “Well grandma, I guess I’ll be off. Don’t go senile and forget about me, ok?” With a carefree smile, Lazus casually walked past Millica and down the road and began to walk away. Absentmindedly, he extended his right hand and pointed off into the distance. With a slight sizzling noise, a single bright line of fire began tracing itself through the air, drawn by the finger along the air.

Prick Puppet. That was the thing's new name. He'd introduced himself multiple times now but Millica was content with calling him prick puppet.
Trying to rise to her feet, Millica fell to her knees again, coughed more for show than for sickness, and attempted to take a swing at Lazus. This however fell short, and the Kerensky ended up falling on her back, her head throbbing and her pride shaken.
"I'm not... senile." She gasped softly. Not quite what she had intended on saying, but better than laying there looking helpless by far.

Angel continued walking, understanding that if no one was trying to stop her.. then she must just need to go. No point in delaying it, no point in fighting it. It made her heart break but if they would be better on without her, then she would give them their wish.
As she was walking, softly away, she didn't realize that the commotion had drawn the attention of one more person, someone who was biding her time before meeting up with her. Someone who had a proposition for her.
But for now, she simply walks on. Hoping to find someone who genuinely needed or wanted her.
~ Doesn't know why I was being waited on. END ANGEL's part in the thread. ~

And then there was one.
Millica stayed stark still for a long while, alone in the dust. This was just another example of why she had lived such a lonely life. The people of the world were cruel and savage, even in her own home. The people here were worse, possibly. The people she had only just met were definitely more sinister, more underhanded than her own home, but... not more evil. Evil is universal, she though.
As the effects of the curse wore off, Millica rose to her feet again, coughing and choking on the dust from the ground. But now she had regained her strength, and was prepared to move along.
With a heavy sigh and a grunt as she hefted her weapon, she began to walk again, headed onward and over the collapsing bridge and towards the next adventure- she needed the excitement, after all. But no more trusting, dammit. No more.
This thread has ended.
