Millica felt chilled by the Jester's words. It didn't seem to her that she was any more or less special for having lost her watcher, she felt empty- and angry.
"I don't want to hear your philosophical words of Blake. Return to me my watcher, I will only warn you once." Millica hadn't actually listened to anything he'd said, or what Angel had said- she didn't care. This was more important to her, by far.
She stepped towards Lazus, her weapon held horizontally and it's blade jutting forwards menacingly. She meant every word she said- and she meant to kill him if he didn't comply.

Angel was first shocked at Lazus' words.. no, it wasn't fully that. She was shocked that she was understanding what he was saying. A few moments ago these words would have had to been split down in so many different versions of themselves that the original message might be altered in some real way. But with Kaimu in there, with their minds so wonderfully melded into one.. his intelligence was her's and he understood every word. In fact, Kaimu did more than understand.. he saw an enemy. The exact same kind of person they were here to get rid of.. the people who caused chaos in their wake.. in the small corners of HIS mind, the little bit he was keeping to himself he allowed the thought of his origins to come in his mind. When Kaimu was here before, when they had been here in pasts gone he had never met this man. Yet, when he searched Angel's memory there was actually a vision of this man. She had met him and not met him at the same time, some sort of paradox had happened.. in this new world that had been created by him when he chained Youou and Angel in new forms this man had been created. Surely there was outside reasons, but in his past.. this person did not exist. How could then he be standing here? Wasn't him standing here proof that the timeline he came from was crumbling? Was there any real doubt that in a way that his own messing with the world, messing with death and the soul had created a world where such creatures could exist.. such creatures that transcended reality?
Surely Kaimu didn't understand the mechanisms of it, or really the depth of his words.. but he understood that this man was not simply bluffing. At least in his own mind. This man believed he held some sort of key to this world.. surely he had not noticed that tree before but was their any proof that it had not been there before? Was this the work of a demi-god or was it the ramblings of a madman controlled by aspirations or delusions of power? Either way, he was obviously chaotic, this was much certain. His existence was against his very ideal of what this world should be filled with and he knew then and there that someday he would make sure Lazus no longer had such a hold.
He wanted to trust Angel with these feelings..nay, thoughts, but he knew she would withdraw from such notions. She beleived in a different way of gaining peace and on his timeline he had learned to accept that. She believed in changing the way things were through love and understanding to a point where they lived peacefully and content with the way things were. But such a thing was idealistic and sometimes not obtainable. But Angel refused to believe that.
He toyed with the idea of leaving and coming back, this time tricking the lack of memory Angel to giving him full control so he could use the situation, but then thought against it. Milica he believed, would at least defend Angel in a pinch if she really needed it. Anyway, doing so would be a compromise of her body.. which was very important to him. More ways then he would care to admit.
For now, he would watch.

The Princess though, had only focused on certain parts of the conversation. However, her now much enhanced intelligence thanks to thinking with another brain was able to help her have the right words to say. "Lazus, a single thought from everyone can change the world because thoughts don't vanish.. they change and grow. Thoughts become memories, thoughts become emotions, thoughts become you and me. I do believe that this world and people in it are just made of thoughts and words.. because they are what make our world so bright."
Taking a moment to ponder.. she looked over at her other friend, also filled with thoughts that she didn't like. Anger was filling her from her friend and it was hard to block out as she seemed ready to strike. She wasn't upset at her friends, she wasn't at all. She just wanted them to see."Yes, when you stole mommy friends toy.. you made her angry and sad. You made her want to erase something.. be it a situation, a feeling, or even you. You made a connection to each other and one that might not go away, but you have to understand that the connection will only destroy the thoughts and feelings that make this world and eventually even the connection itself. When you make someone want to destroy, rather than create.. you are responsible for erasing what could be a wonderful world for everyone. From losing even that chance."
She shivered though, the tension in the air was thick. She only hoped they understood.

“Hmmm?” Lazus turned to Angel, suddenly interested. Not in what she was saying, of course. Utter nonsense, that. But there was a definite new duality to her, or at least in the manner in which the thoughts that formed her were translated into words. Two sets of words. But what did that mean? Two separate sets of thoughts as well? Lazus had no way of knowing for sure. Still, Angel’s mannerisms had changed drastically over the course of their encounter, so the possibility of a new thought stream was definitely possible.
Then again…
Lazus had deliberately altered his own presentation of himself, switching randomly from aloof to playful to malicious without warning in order to throw off the victims of his mischief. Had Angel simply done the same?
Perhaps she had hoped to defeat a potential enemy by pretending to be less than she really was.
Whatever it may be, Lazus decided, the girl would require closer attention. As would Millica, he noted suddenly, realizing how close she had come to violence. A battlefield would be a poor place to conduct his investigation of this new development, after all. He needed, then, to diffuse the situation enough to stave off an attack, but keep the tension high enough to preserve Angel’s new duality.
Turning his attention back to Millica, he raised his hands in mock surrender. “Easy, grandma, easy! Point that oversized meat cleaver elsewhere!” Lazus gently rose a few inches off the ground and rotated in midair until he was completely upside down. As he did so, the Watcher within him rolled up his leg and then plopped into his empty head. A quick twist of the neck later and it was in his hand, completely unharmed.
Spinning back into a standing position, he held the watcher up, allowing them both to see that it was undamaged, though the tightness of his grip was a subtle reminder to both of them that it was still very much in his possession.
“A couple of things, Angel deary.” He said, glancing sideways at the copycat jester. “Nothing,” he began, indicating the Watcher, “Is ever destroyed. Death, destruction, those are words ignorant people use to describe changes they don’t like.” He tossed the Watcher lightly into the air and caught it, like a baseball. He began to repeat the motion as he spoke. “But a pile of ashes is hardly as useful as a house you once lived in, and the folks are much poorer conversationalists once they’ve turned into dirt. So if a change in something is to be positive…say…a change in possessions…” He tossed the Watcher up again. “Or a change in ideas…” he glared at Angel with that word, hard and calculating, considering her duality sharply. “It has to be something a bit…special.”
He smiled again, turning away from Angel. “Our words are a reflection of our thoughts, and so this world is a mismatched jigsaw puzzle of our ideas. But when do the words start controlling the ideas?” He looked Millica in the eyes. “Let’s find out.” With that, he hurled the Watcher as hard as he could into the sky. Almost, but not completely straight up. If she ran very quickly, Millica would be able to catch it.

Millica lurched forward when Lazus began his juggling act- she wanted to get the watcher back, but in the struggle to regain it it may fall and shatter. She couldn't afford to blitz him in hopes of it, but what else could...
Airborne. He'd thrown it. And he'd thrown it hard.
It took a moment to sink in. She stared until it reached the height of it's flight far above her before the full idea came to bear.
Throwing her prized weapon to the ground, Millica sprinted for what she assumed would be it's landing point, but she already knew she had waited too long. Nevertheless, she pumped her arms and ran as fast as she could possibly manage, and even took to flight herself in order to catch it, knowing full good and well that it was out of her reach. She slid to a grinding halt on the ground, and watched the small machine land in front of her.
And float.
Quizzically, Millica stared at what was essentially a glowing eye for around a full minute before cursing to herself. It wasn't in danger, it could float- or hover, more accurately. Biting her lip, Millica rose to her feet, the watcher in hand. Turning her bitter, unfocused rage in the direction of the pair of jesters, Millica began her angry march back, ready to rip Lazus' body in half and cannibalize it just for the sake of saying she'd hid the body so well no one would ever find it, despite the utter lack f hiding places in this desolate place.

Sadly though, Kaimu was not ready to stick around anymore. Seeing Lazus as someone who was going to sit around talking but wouldn't attack Angel unless provoked, and knowing that Angel wouldn't do that.. he clicked out of her mind without even telling he was going to do so.
Angel felt it immediately though and panicked a bit outwardly. "Kaimu? Kaimu? You said you would say.. please don't go, please.." she said.. obviously pretty clingy to him because of the comfort and safety he represented. Trying to set up a mind link with him, she found herself thoroughly rejected by it though. Oh gosh.. and that wasn't the only bad thing going on. Lazus had not understood what Angel had said at all. She still had a memory of words used and a memory of what they were talking about and it made her sad. He didn't understand.. "things.. can be changed without erasing them.." she whispered, though she was starting to get sad and a bit scared even by things going on. She started backing away slowly, and on instinct started to make herself smaller. Being small made her feel "safe" because it made her feel out of the way, something that wasn't expected to defend itself or wasn't worth attacking or bothering with. Her height shrunk and shrunk until she was around 3"4" and her body matched this.. but other than that she was wearing the same outfit was before, though the jester hat was awkwardly sized and seemed too big, as if it was about to slip off her head.
Continuing to retreat and then seeing/feeling an angry Millica, she started retreating even faster though she was stumbling on her own feet. "I'm sorry.."..

Well, shit.
Lazus had originally planned to keep a tight lid on the situation by keeping a hold of Millica’s Watcher, thus preventing her from doing anything too aggressive. Then he’d gotten the bright idea to throw it. To be fair, it had seemed brilliant at the time. And funny. But now, looking back, Lazus noted that it probably was not the smartest decision he’d ever made. And now, Millica was royally pissed off, and stomping her way over.
Naturally, the only thing Lazus could do was raise his hands over his head and scream.

Now that Millica was upon the screaming jester, she was unsure of what she had originally planned on doing.
Her face stern and her eyes narrowed, she brushed right past Angel, standing a good head over Lazus, glared down at him, raising her hand with all the authority of God as she pointed her long, thin finger at him, which kept itself level with His face.
She really wished to kill him. Or maim him. Or hurt him. Or unsettle him. Or had she unsettled him already? She wasn't sure really.
But her own laws prevented her from doing it. He hadn't hurt anyone. He hadn't kept her item. He hadn't broken anything, all there was done here was emotional anguish, not worthy of a Kerenky's punishment in Karna.
Standing in front of him, she said nothing but held her pose as she tried to think of something that she could do to him, knowing full good and well that there was nothing.

Angel lay their, confused, slightly hurt and not understanding what she could do. They kept just having standstills where she was thinking they were going to hurt each other and no matter how much she tried to make them understand it just was going to happen again. She just sat their, completely ignored.. feeling lost.. and these feelings started up an ability that would make things even more interesting. He curse mark flaring up once again, she felt a sharp sting on her back. The curse mark, the wild and angry magic that was embedded in her very body started to move. The love that Millcia was feeling from being close to Angel, IF it was completely reliant on the curse would start turning sour. A strange prickling feeling, if this was true would be felt by the woman and then a flood of knowledge about a strange magic. She would know Angel was the cause of this as well. OOC: Girl cootie ability activated. If Milica has actual no real feelings of love for Angel besides the curse's effect.. she will contract the curse Angel has herself. She can spend half of her MAG to block the effect of the curse every turn. She is made aware that Angel is the cause of the magic. The Curse MarkActivation: Always Active Name: Curse Seal Effect A: Servitude Activation: Always Active. Detailed Description: The curse mark on Angel's back is responsible for many curses, this being one of them. With Servitude active, any command given to her must be followed out to best of her abilities. Stats Required to Use: Negative Effect, does not require stats. Name: Curse Seal Effect B: Pain Activation: Always Active Detailed Descrption: The curse mark on Angel's back is responsible for many curses, this being one of them. With Pain active, any pain felt by anyone with the ability to feel pain around her will also be felt her herself. This includes emotion pain. Stats Required to Use: Negative Effect, does not require stats. Name: Curse Seal Effect C: Chains Activation: Always Active Detailed Description: The curse mark on Angel's back is responsible for many curses, this being one of them. With Chains active, she can barely move her body and will feel like the simplest of movements take great amounts of energy, as if she is tied to heavy weights. Stats Required to Use: Negative Effect, does not require stats. Name: Curse Seal Effect D: Bad Omen Activation: Always Active Detailed Description: The curse mark on Angel's back is responsible for many curses, this being one of them. With Bad Omen active, Angel's natural good luck is often blocked and instead reversed. Once every three posts, all of her LUCK stats will be completely taken away. Often in this post, she will trip and fall on something sharp and hurt herself.. or some other unlucky happening like an effect of an ability backfiring. Her ability to predict and dodge attacks is also weakened even more during this post. Stats Required to Use: Negative Effect, does not require stats. Name: Curse Seal Effect E: Memory Activation: Always Active Detailed Description: The curse mark on Angel's back is responsible for many curses, this being one of them. With Memory active, Angel's memory is highly weakened, having trouble remembering things that happened between threads or pages. She could reintroduce herself twice in the same day if you didn't stick by her. She had trouble remembering anything at all. Stats Required to Use: Negative Effect, does not require stats. Name: Curse Seal Effect F: Reboot Activations: Always Active Detailed Description: The curse mark is a highly magical item with one positive effect of protection for the person it is equipped to. Every three posts (of hers) if she needs it, Angel will be healed of all negative effects given to her by her oppoment. Stats Required to Use: Effect gained from the power of the negative effects of the curse, so the negative effects are the cost instead of the stats. [/center]

Hah.
Lazus’ scream of mock terror slowly died away, replaced with a victorious smile. He’d won. Millica was bound by some self regulating code of conduct, and would not harm him. He could read it on her face, the utter fury she felt towards him. The fury she felt at herself, knowing she would do nothing.
People were funny. Stupid, but funny. Most would deny that a battle had been played out here, not realizing that words and ideas were far more dangerous than swords and magic. Never understanding that some stakes went higher than mortal peril. Lazus was free, free to do whatever he pleased, and free to control others with his words. Millica too, had won a battle, in her own way. A Phyrric victory, yes, one that held the seeds of its own defeat, but a victory nonetheless. Restraint was a rare virtue in this place.

Millica's face went from an unfocused rage to something between a dead panic and a near death experience.
A burning sort of panic grew in her as she felt her magic drain away, her blood rights of the Kerensky fade a little. But she knew, almost magically, who was to blame-
Turning on her heal, Millica fell to eye level with Angel, her eyes wild and angry still, but her tone of voice sounding chilled and afraid.
"What have you done to me?"

"I... I..." she said, the young form of the girl still on the ground, her body crawling more and more backwards.. her body shaking. She didn't really remember what it was, but magically.. like Millicia herself she was aware that it happened. She was pointing to her back, a bit frantically so to where it wasn't as understandable. Then, twisting around and putting her face in the ground and crouching a bit in a fetal position.. her mark was very noticeable on her back and in fact, it was still slightly shining due to it's activity.
"It.. makes me do things.. when I don't wanna, people tell me... it makes it hard to move.. it makes me feel things.." she was sobbing slightly, she knew that for some reason whenever she got near someone the curse activated.. she just didn't know about what made it happen.

And then things were weird again.
It must be remembered that Lazus possessed no sense of smell, and was therefore unaffected by the strange emotionally intoxicating pheromones Angel had released. While Millica instantly became aware of the source of the curse that afflicted her, Lazus remained completely clueless as to what was going on.
Startled, Lazus skirted backwards from Millica, confused. As far as he was aware, she had simply suffered Critical Existence Failure for no apparent reason. Unsettled, he glanced at the retreating Angel, who managed to emit of stream of incoherent apologies and babbling nonsense. She was responsible for this? Millica certainly seemed to think so.
Edging forward, Lazus cautiously extended his hand to poke Millica’s head. “You! Nag! What is happening?” he asked, frustrated. “And you! Girl! Stop babbling and speak properly!”

Millica buried her face in her hands as she felt her energy drain, keeping whatever curse what upon her at bay for a short while. That alone troubled her- she relied heavily on her magic and its protective abilities, but without it she was near defenseless towards attack.
She swung in reaction as the jester when he poked her, her fist arcing as though she carried an invisible sword in a closed fist. It wasn't exactly clear to her if she had hit him or even was close enough to have hit him anyway, or if she'd swung in the proper direction. Not that she cared too terribly much.
Running her hands down her face, Millica looked upward and thought heavily about what to do next, coming to the final conclusion that she had absolutely no idea.

Lazus' command was taken in and she turned around slowly.. looking up at them she felt very compelled to tell them exactly what was going on. "When I'm around people.. they get what I have. I don't know why but they get it.. but when they go away they seem fine.." she said, looking down at the ground with a sad look on her face.
And now her friends were going to leave her. She knew it. No one ever would stay around someone who was hurting them and making them have such negative feelings. Nope. Never. In fact, in fact she was sure that they would love her to be gone. They would be happy, alot more happy. She was going to have to relook, re-search for light in the world.. and she didn't know where to start looking. Having already decided that this was the right answer for her, she stood up and started slowly walking in the other direction.
