Mimi's clothes.. were... RUINED! Turning around and pulling her top half up so she was sitting in the mud.. she just sat there. Anger filled her, even as the nice boy came over and tried to help her. It was all she could do to not start her transformation into Koopa right there, all she could do to transfer that anger into sadness so the boy in front of her wouldn't suspect anything with both of them right there. Tears started filling her eyes and after a few adorable sniffles, she wailed loudly into the bright sunny air. Kicking and screaming, she was throwing a tantrum now, no doubt about it. The tantrum was making the mud splash everywhere, including the other two boys. His kind offer to wipe her face was ignored, the only thing Mimi could think about was how awful this was.
"No fair!!" she wailed. "Totally no fair!! I'm all icky and stick and gross Mimi MUD MONSTER!! Now no one will ever love Mimi-chan.." she was obviously not really emotionally all there, but the fact that she kept herself from taking her anger out on the cute boys was something to be proud of.. she guessed. But... her pretty clothes..

Allard had been placed on the ground, but why didn't he run?
Well, he'd been asked not to for one. But was that really a reason? Did he like the people? That seemed less likely, actually. He didn't like girls, they had cooties and that was the last thing he needed, although he could certainly sympathize, given his poisonous state. It could be that he was afraid of them, but they had been very nice to him so that also seemed unlikely.
So he sat there, cross-legged with his hands in his lap, one hand wrapped around a loose-gripped fist with nothing but poison in between. His eyes, frighteningly green, locked on the young girl, filled with an understanding sympathy. He knew what it was like to feel like no one liked you. But beneath that sympathy was a strikingly angry voice, a voice not of Allard's control but agreeing with him wholeheartedly.
Don't pretend like no one likes you. You're just blind. Open your eyes and you'll see that Nouri is genuinely kind to you!
Vacantly Allard wondered if this sort of thought made him a hypocrite. Nouri was being kind to him, and he still believed that everyone in the world hated him. But then, Nouri only just met Allard and would hate him in time. But how long had he known Mimi?
With these thoughts swirling in his mind, Allard sat silently with his eyes locked on Mimi in a sort of defocus, his body still here but his thoughts a thousand worlds away.

Mud splashing about and all over the both of them, how fun! Sure, if she was really upset, he would have grabbed Allard and rolled about in it so they could match but this would do well enough. Yet, now there was this silly little tantrum of hers and that was something he had no skill in handling. Truth be told, he didn't have a little sister to care for nor had he ever taken care of younger children to know exactly what to do at this point. Maybe some words of comfort would help?
Well, it couldn't hurt.
"Pshaw! It's only a small spill in a small puddle ya know?" A statement complete with a small flagging of the hand for good measure. Sadly, this was all he could do. Being serious in such a time just wasn't something he could do at this point in his life.. not yet at least. But as always, his heart was in the right place and maybe that could get through to her. "All you need a nice bath and a fancy set of pressed clothes like me and you will be all set to go!" With his words freshly relayed, he pat her softly on top of her noggin, trying to urge her to at least get up and look around for a moment. "If you want, I can wash your hair and all when we get to town."

Mimi was actually.. feeling happy. She stood up and wiped her face on the trench coat at least.. and looked over at the other guy. He was.. staring at her. But that was fine.. she smiled over at him and waved at him a bit. But what Allard didn't realize is he was stumbling on her real driving personality weakness. She felt lonely knowing that almost all the friend she was going to make in her life she was going to be forced to get rid of. She felt.. like no one was ever going to like her because.. how could you like someone who was going to kill you?
Well.. whatever. This was like, enough. Nouri was being a dashing prince and now everything was working out just the way she wanted it. Everything was going to be perfect and sunshiny. She was going to get washed, he was going to get her some new cute clothing.. he was going to treat her right. She loved the attention so much. Maybe falling in the mud was a good thing. Giggling, she wiped the mud away from her mouth and spoke. "Thankies ever so much. Let's hurry though, Mimi-chan doesn't wanna be icky and smelly and gross any longer boooyfriend..~"[/b] she called him, giggling and blushing at the fact as if she was the one being called his girlfriend. Like a young girl, she was assuming and over-excited. [/size]

When she waved, Allard shook his head slightly, throwing away the shaking away the dreary look from his eyes and returning his mind to the present.
Blinking, he looked away from Mimi and rubbed his eye, only to growl in pain and curse himself as he tried to get the poison out of his eye.
Returning his gaze to the ground, Allard grimaced as he contemplated what was about to happen to him.

Awww, how cute! She actually called him her boyfriend and started gigging and blushing too! "Umm.. I... uhh..." even Nouri in his silly and whimsical demeanor was dumbstruck by it all, his cheeks flushed red in embarrassment. There wasn't much he could do or say at that point and for a few moments, an aura of silence had overtaken him. Slowly, he stood up from his little fit of bashfulness and dusted his knees off. "Sorry about that, its just words like that make me feel a bit shy.." Soon enough however, he cleared his throat and flung both of his arms up in the air, striking a silly yet triumphant pose"I'm fine now!"

Okay, it was surely time to go then. She didn't want this icky sticky on her for another moment longer than it had to be. Walking over to Allard, she jumped up and down in order for him to come and grab their "captive". She wanted him and she wanted him to be grabbed now if they were really going to take him. Though, that didn't stop her from being jealous of the fact that Nouri was carrying him and not her.. but a maiden should be more presentable than she was now, mud-covered.. when she's carried by her handsome prince.
Sigh, how bothersome.. even if it was giving her the attention she so richly deserved.
"Chuuu~" she said softly, obviously a tad impatient. "I wanna keep going, let's go, ottieday Bboooyyyfriieend?~" She secretly hoped that it would make him blush again a little. Boys were so cute when they blushed!

Four Goombas, in their idiotic glory, were messing with a floating cube of white and green with a question mark on it's faces. Climbing one atop the other they reached up as far as possible, trying to "activate" it or something. After a few tries the top goomba smacked the underside of the cube and instantly the four became a seamless glob of silver metal, wobbling around and bumping into various objects around the area.
As the seconds ticked away so did the opacity of the metallic shine covering the strange creatures. Once the timer ran out, the metal disappeared and, instead of four goombas, a young woman popped out and fell face-first on the ground. When she straightened herself and stood, a look of amazement and confusion appeared on her face, and she spun around to take in the scenery.
What on earth is this place? It's certainly not Firenze, because these colors do not match mm-mm. Green pipes? Floating boxes? And what are these?
Suddenly a group of Toads waddled towards her and appeared to want her to come with them either willingly or not. Paola then became greatly confused and doubted her sanity for a little while, commenting in a foreign language without so much as a thought.
Mushrooms? I don't remember eating any mushrooms.

A pathetic "eep!" escaped Allard as he fell backward in an attempt to avoid Mimi's snatching at him. It was as much for her as it was him (well more for him, in the end) because he didn't want her to be burned by his poisons, which he knew would ultimately loop back to him and end with her undoubtedly beating him or something.
Crawling about a foot on the ground before her, his eyes filled not with fear but concern, Allard looked up to her, stuttering. He needed something, now.
"Ergh-r-r-r-r-rgh.... u-u-u-uh, wouldn't it un, uh, eh, look better if I was tied up and you were-ergh dragging me along-ga?" He was stuttering, and slurring his words. He wondered if she even understood him, but he doubted he was that bad.

"Ummm..." Again with such a word? Oh, it was almost too much for Mr. Sephur. Although it clearly didn't effect him as much as before, the moment he heard it, he made an effort to hide his face from her line of sight. If this kept up, he would have a tomato for a noggin and what just wouldn't be neat now would it? That said, she was also starting to sound a bit agitated.. maybe because of her clothing or the time wasted. (or both) he rushed over to Allard and grasped him the same manner that he had grown so accustomed to in their short time together. "R..r..right." he stammered at first.. but being the odd guy that he was, he rapidly regained his composure. "Lets head to town!" he finally exclaimed in a true, manly boom. But yet, as he looked around, he noticed that he had forgotten something quite important. "So uhh... which way is town again?" Yup, in all of this mayhem and silliness, it sorta slipped his mind.

Oh good grief. The town was oh so very visible to the left of them, it was really big. In fact, calling it a town was probably icky but there really wasn't that many people in it. Was kinda like a city for a few hundred people or something like that. It looked cute and bright and happy and it was going to be all Mimi's one day.
Pointing dramatically towards it she started marching.. and then she started thinking how awful it would be if some girl had suddenly pop'd up in the distance. OH NOES, and what if she was older and such!?! No one was going to steal Nouri away from Mimi, or even the scrawny one. All the boys in the world where for her and her only..
But that wouldn't happen.. right?

Allard eyes widened in a true puppy-dog like fashion. His frown grew until it seemed like his entire face was hinged, but he pulled his hat low and hid himself from the world, locking his eyes on Mimi's feet. He had no idea where town was, it hadn't even occurred to him where it might be. He wasn't the thinker. It wasn't his job to know where town was. He was the dog, the one who follows the leader with a blind, faithful loyalty that had earned him such a job title. This was his lot in life.
And so, he marched silently, willingly, his eyes locked on her ankles, (he tried to match her pace as well, but the fact remained that her stride was considerably longer than his own, which meant that he would have to find his own pace, something he wasn't to keen on doing) without a sound made or a complaint heard.

"Ah.. I knew that!" he gleefully spoke as he marched after Allard, picking him up by the collar of his coat like always. Finally, the quest for civilization had come to an end and he made a few new friends in the process. But the question remained as to what awaited him in the land of beyond. Hopefully it was a nice shower, something to eat, and clean laundry too! He couldn't help but smile and chuckle, as this was shaping up to be a wonderful day in so many ways. Ah but now that he was thinking about it, what were Allard and Mimi going to do after all of this? Was this wonderful little group going to part ways after all was said and done? What a sad thought.. but it was maybe best to ask so he could prepare for it if that was the case. "So.. guys. I just wanted to ask if you have any plans for after we leave town. You all must have your own separate ways to go right? he solemnly spoke to his friends up front.

She shook her head to the words that were being spoken. "Nope, nope. I can stay with you boys forever and ever and ever as long as you two live if you want me too.." she played with the ends of her skirt innocently and gave them puppy eyes. She was being honest too.. she might as well stick to them as long as they lived.. since it wasn't going to be that much longer. Teehee~
Turning around and letting the cute doggie boys follow her, they reached town. She made sure that nothing about her looked odd. These people, they didn't really know her too well. None of them should know her connection to Bowser, so everything should be just sparkly happy. She didn't want anyone stopping her plans. Stopping in front of a place they could stay the night, she turned around and attempted to cling to Nouri again. "Love? Is it Mimi's bathie time now?" she said, pulling out the puppy dog eyes again.

"Mushrooms or not, these things are annoying," Paola commented with disgust, reaching to her side and taking the scabbard out. "This should teach you all a lesson, stupid 'shrooms!" She took the scabbard and smacked each on the head, or rather the crown of the mushroom, until they all stopped moving. Sleep well ya little freaks, she thought, and with that she was waltzing down the road, looking for a suitable place to stay. "You'd think that with those little munchkins there would be a city around he--"
She spotted it, a large city with elaborate buildings and a tremendous wall. How had she missed this before? Oh yeah that's right, the mushroom-trolls had me occupied.
Off in the distance though she saw a group of three, presumably travelers, who seemed to be on their way to the city. A smart move would be to ask for help although the city was in easy reach, and so she skirted off to meet them.
