Chapter 4: Shattered Sanctuary

Sour walked straight into Toadington along with Kaemon. Suddenly, Luigi flew past Sour and Kaemon as if he was a rocket.

He flew into a wall of a local hotel. The hotel looked a little run down but worth a nights rest. As Kaemon and Luigi checked in, Sour explained "Im not going to be checking in tonight, I'll be staying at a friends house tonight."

Sour walked around for a little while anxiously thinking about his reuniting with Madison.

He stared at a familiar home. The smell of oak swirled through Sours nose. He knocked on the door. The doorbell seemed to be in need of repair while the doorbell grew a little rusty.

A woman opened the door looking older than last time Sour remembered. She raised her left eyebrow indicating she wanted to know what he was there for.

"M...M...May I speak to Madison please?" Sour asked nervously.

"Hold on," The lady spat as she slammed the door.

Soon, a woman with long lucious blue hair appeared outside. Sour's eyes widened with exciement until he noticed a baby in her hands. His excitement was instantly crushed. Madison smiled silently at Sour. Suddenly, a man came from behind him and held her.

"Baby, who is this?" The man asked curiously.

"J..Just a friend," Madison managed to whisper.

The man nodded towards Sour, took the baby and left from the doorstep. Sour and Madison walked silently not knowing what to say. The tension of the situation was able to be cut with a knife.

"Im back," Sour smiled.

Madison could do nothing but smile at him. She couldnt even look into his eyes. Suddenly she burst into tears. Sour held her and asked "Whats wrong?"

"I was supposed to wait for you," Madison exclaimed. "I was going to wait but I couldnt...I let you down!"

Sour patted her on the back while continuosly holding her.

"Its ok," Sour whispered in her ear. "I understand. I knew you would be able to wait for me anyways."

Madison wiped her tears as the duo sat on the same hill they sat on 7 years ago.

"I wish I could ditch everything Im doing now and just run away with you," Sour explained.

Madison shook her head in disapproval.

"I cant do that Sour, Im sorry," Madison said. "I cant do that to Bill after all hes done for me and I want the baby to know his biological father."

Sour couldnt handle anymore rejection. He felt as his he had just lost another love of his life...as if he lost another Valentine.

Sour sprinted away with tears covering his face. He walked into the hotel asking the landlord about the where-abouts of Luigi and Kaemon describing their appearances. The landlord directed Sour into the room. Sour burst the door open covered in tears. Luigi and Kaemon stood up suprised wondering what happened. Sour just turned to a bed and laid for the rest of the night silently.

"I think we should-a leave him for now," Luigi commented.

The next morning, Sour, Luigi and Kaemon were leaving Toadington. Sour knocked on Madison's door. Suddenly Bill opened the door.

"I dont know what the hell you did to my wife but she came covered in tears!" Bill yelled.

Madison stepped in front of Bill.

"Look, Im sorry for all that happened last night," Sour spoke."I will never come back and bug you again. I wish you and the baby the best of luck."

Madison did nothing but stare at Sour. The trio departed Toadington. Sour looked back one last time and walked away with a wide smirk on his face.

"Thanks guys," Sour spat. "Your the best"

The two nodded at Sour and continued walking.

Madison couldnt help but think of Sour. She thought about 7 years ago and she thought of last night. But he was gone...forevor.

Bill stared at Madison and gave her a hug. He kissed her forehead hoping everything would be fixed. Bill noticed the frown on her face so he whispered "Dont worry hes gone you will never have to deal with him again."

"You dont understand," Madison explained. "I loved him and I will never see him again. I...I...I waited for him."

Madison walked into her room to see a vase full of flowers and a note attached to it. The note said:

I will not lose you. I will never lose you again.

{Lake Hylia}

The group climbed into the mini submersible and began their submergence to the under water palace of the Zoras. The sub went low to lake bed and navigated through coral and the long canals of rocks. Fish of all sorts swam around the sub curious of the metal vehicle. The palace entrance began in a tunnel on the lake floor. The sub swam through it and arrived in a port with many docks. The palace base was all water and sand while the rest was all air. The hatch opened and the Zoras were curios as to who these people were. Zel led them to the throne room where they found the King of the Zoras.

"Oh great King of the Zoras, I have come to warn thee and to make a great proposition." Zel greeted the large fat fishman.

"Speak my curtious guest." the Zora demanded.

"The Kingdom of Hyrule is about to fall into a great war. I ask that you come with me and join my organization so that your people will not fall into slavery. We three are of the SSS or the Super Smash Saviors and recently we have began to organize an army to fight against the evil Crehavos. Crehavos has been a cruel tyrant over the galaxy for seven years. Until just recently we have been hiding from him in our HQ. Unfortunately he destroyed it and we are now stationed in Skytown, Eylsia. We ask that you will join us. We have persuased the Gorons to help and we have only you and the Hyrule Royal Guard to persuade. And now I ask you King of the Zoras .........WHAT SAY YOU." Zel explianed.

"I say that....we the Zoras will.......join the SSS and help defeat this Crehavos. Now you must be tired and in need of nurioushment. Please stay and eat. Think of it as a thank you for warning us of this approaching danger." declared the Zora king.

Hina sighed, for that last fight was really hard she knew she couldn't win the fight the enemy's were too strong. "Well" she said under her breath, "I should get out of here quickly" so she chucked a stick into the air it pointed east "right west it is then" she said slinging her sword on to her back then she went back to her normal form before heading off.On her way she remembered that she had heard never asked her opponents names "wonder who they were" she said to herself. Their abilities seemed odd but, "This world is odd" thought Hina before wondering if there were any people who would help her find out about this place. Hina remembered that she had heard some more people landing a few moments ago in the forest "wonder who they were" she thought. Hina sighed again "not worth risking" she said out loud before continuing on her way.

{Zel, Zelda, and Ian}
[Zora Palace]

Zel's eyes widened as the Zoras laid the fantastic feast upon the stone table, which was lit with candles that were burning via blue fire. Most of the succulant food was cooked with fish as the main staple of every dish. Which was strange to Zel and Ian considering the fact that the Zoras were half fish half human.

"Well this certianly is a delightful feast but we must be off. For the sun is rising and we have another arrangement to up hold. I will send a transport to take you and your people to the main ship so that you may be safe as soon as possible. Come Ian, my lady we must make way to the Castle Town." Zel ordered.

The group made haste to the docks and climbed into the sub. The systems had been programmed to start when Zel was within 5 yards of the sub for emergencies. They reversed their previous trip and got to the surface of Lake Hylia in 10 minutes flat. Zel told the other two that they had to get to Castle Town than faster than anything. So using his staff he teleported them to Telma's Bar where they would meet the Royal Guard. Fortunatley they were early and waited outside until the guard arrived.

"Okay," Dobs muttered in a hushed tone as he listened to the footsteps on the floor above him, "Exactly how many of these Smash Savages are there, and do they know we're here?"

As Dobs finished his sentence a beam of red light shot passed him an nicked his right ear, which began to bleed profusely. The Imperialist Sniper had been fired by none other than Sumas, the blue armored bounty hunter Savage herself. Dobs held his hand to his ear and screamed in agony.

"Missed," Samus exclaimed in frustration to her comrade, the world famous Igiul.
"No, you got him," said the suave, stylish Iguil, "I'll finish him."

The anti-luigi tossed a red fireball vertically towards the ceiling and it ricocheted straight for Dobs. Samus fired an ice beam at the projectile and it stopped dead in its tracks. She activated her thermal visor to make out two figures hiding in the shadows behind a large pillar. Sumas and Ligiul stepped out from their hiding place, and the handsome, red shirted-orange panted, buff, and famous Ligiul spoke.

"I hate you SIE scum almost as much as I hate spaghetti," he sneered, "What are you doing here?"

"I do trust Dobs," the mech began, "And you can trust me. However, I still cannot trust you with all certainty. I would prefer that we not converse until our task is complete. This next room contains the first component of the Theronian bomb, do you have a means to move it?"

{Skytown, Elysia}

Yup. That was one cold, hard, disgruntled shoulder. Eiron had hoped that his new companion would share Dobs’ mystifying ability to remain boisterous and aloof regardless of the circumstances, but on reflection, that seemed to be asking a lot from a machine. Then again, Eiron would be rather upset if some stranger barged into his home and demanded that it be placed on the universal offering table. Perhaps Toran did share Dobs happy little psychosis, so long as people weren’t trying to paint giant target symbols on his house.

“Fair enough.” Eiron said. “I can provide transportation for the bomb components.” Eiron produced a small communicator from his pocket. “If some kind soul would send a couple of cargo ships to my location, that’d be peachy.”

[Ike, Captain Falcon, Sothe, Micaiah]
{Falcon Flyer, outside of Nevassa, Daein}

“I think you look great,” Micaiah said, failing miserably to suppress her spreading smile, “very mysterious.”

Falcon grinned, staring down at the dull gray travelling robes that they had forced him into. “Mysterious.” He repeated back, smirking. “I can dig that. Ok, mysterious it is then.” He looked over to Ike, who was similarly garbed. “Tsk. Not working so well for you.”

Ike smiled back, his arms folded easily across his chest as he leaned against the cabin wall. “They’re making me wear this because I’m famous here, not because I dress like a madman.”

Falcon frowned and shook his head. “Jealous.”

Sothe entered the cabin with another traveling cloak, which he gave to Micaiah. “You too. Everyone around here would recognize you immediately.” Micaiah nodded and quickly donned it. Suddenly, the sharp chirping of a bird sounded from underneath her robes, and a brightly colored swallow zipped out from underneath the cloak.

“Augh…does she really have to come alo-OW!” Sothe’s complaints were interrupted as the bird landed on his shoulder and pecked angrily at his head. “Ok, ok, stop it!” Sothe cried, exasperated. “Just keep it quite.” He brushed the bird away, and it flew back to Micaiah, nestling comfortably in the folds of her hood.

The young girl giggled. “Don’t worry, Yune will be behave herself.”

Sother rubbed his injured head, and turned to Falcon, who had been watching the scene unfold with a wry grin on his face. “What about you? Shouldn’t you take that helmet off?”

Slowly, the eyes of all the other’s turned and settled on Sothe, staring wordlessly. “What?” he asked, looking around defensively. “It’ll give him away.”

“I hope you’re not joking.” Falcon said, drawing up his hood.

“No, I’m not.” Sothe replied, annoyed.

“Good, because it’s not funny.”

“Anyways,” Ike interjected, “The plan is to drop you two off here in Nevassa, and for us to head on over to Crimea, yes?”

“Yes,” Micaiah said, moving between Falcon and Sothe, “That’s the plan. Sothe and I will meet up with General Tauraneo and the members of the Dawn Brigade who have returned to Daein. Then we’ll travel to Begnion and speak with the Apostle.”

Ike nodded. “Right. Meanwhile, Falcon and I will enlist the Knights of Crimea, then head to Gallia and ask for King Cainenghis’ help.”

Afterwards,” Sothe finished, “We’ll all head to the Kilvas and Phoenicis to recruit the Bird Tribes.”

“Ok, now that we’ve gone over the plan again,” Falcon said, annoyance and anticipation mounting, “Let’s get going.” Sothe and Micaiah nodded, and readied their things.

“We’ll see you again soon.” Micaiah said, smiling as she and Sothe moved down the ship’s entrance ramp. “Good luck!”

Ike and Falcon waved after them, and the ramp hissed shut. “Ok, let’s get moving.” Falcon said, sliding into the pilot’s seat. “Crimea, here we come.”

[Jarod, Alder]
{Daein Keep, Nevassa}

Jarod staired listlessly over the battlements of the Daein capital, brooding. The resentful worms of Daein were starting to once again squirm under his heal, and it seemed no matter how many insects he crushed, the city remained a hive of dissention. Sighing, he laid his lance up against the low stone wall and moved his fingers through his sharp red hair. “Damn…”

“Something amiss, oh fearless leader?” a voice called out from behind. Jarod turned and spotted his second in command, Alder, approaching.

“Nothing at all.” He replied curtly, returning his gaze to the city below. “I’m just thinking it’s time to tighten the noose a little more around this wretched country.”

Everyone was caught off guard as Sumas and Igiul appeared from the floor above and assaulted them. Dobs and Samus held them off until the inverted Luigi spoke.

"I hate you SIE scum almost as much as I hate spaghetti," he sneered, "What are you doing here?"

"We are not the SIE," Snicket said, giving Banjo & Kazooie a furtive, meaningful look. "And we are here to liberate the one you hold powerless. Step aside and we will not harm you."

Igiul laughed, eerily the same way Luigi does. "You're a-foolish enough to aid our enemies? Our enemies' enemies are our friends. Our enemies' friends, however, are in turn our enemies. None of you will leave this a-place alive."

"Banjo, Kazooie, now!" Bob signaled.

The foreign heroes reacted accordingly. Banjo reached back, grabbed Kazooie, and swung the breegull into his hands, holding the red bird like a rifle. He pointed her at the two hostile strangers. Kazooie accordingly regurgitated two many-faceted Ice Eggs, which each collided into Sumas and Igiul, freezing them in solid blocks of ice for a short amount of time.

"Let's go!" Kin urged, indicating the stairway leading upward.

The party obligingly dashed away from their frozen foes up the stairs. Rewsob and Frodnonag brought up the rear, stopping briefly to glance at their old adversaries frozen solid. They soon followed, although as they went around the curve of the winding staircase, they could hear two immense cracking sounds.

The following is a recounting of the Smash Saviors' adventures as they ascended each floor.

~Floor 2: Entered portal room. Found Mr. Watch & Game (completely white rather than black). Snicket smashed him with Super Hammer into a portal leading to Ognok Jungle. Heard many other footsteps on same floor.

~Floor 3: Entered inverted library. Evil books flew at them, forcing them to protect themselves with whatever weapons they possessed. Samus, Kazooie, and Snake started a large fire using flamethrower, Fire Eggs, and grenades respectively. Snicket tried to tame one and take it with him, but it bit him on the nose and flew away. Also heard other footsteps on same floor.

~Floor 4: Entered laboratory. B.O.R. (Blasting Oregonian Robot) attacked. X sliced off one of its eye sockets. Went berserk and wreaked havoc on the lab, but also called for assistance.

~Floor 5: Entered empty floor. Went up.

~Floor 6: Entered another empty floor. Went up.

~Floor 7: Entered another empty floor. Went up. LGN blasted a hole in the wall for no reason. Kin flicked him in the ear.

~Floor 8: Entered another empty floor. Igiul and Sumas caught up with them, with many more following a ways below. Dobs and Samus utterly owned them, blasting them out the window.

~Floor 9: Entered another empty floor. Compass of Desire indicated that next floor held what they were looking for. Majority of Smash Savages following, Reswob and Frodnonag decided to stay behind to delay them. Yoshi and Diddy Kong made the decision to stay also. The rest continued upward.

At last, weary and exhausted from the ceaseless climbing of stairs, what was left of the group stepped into the 10th floor. They stopped to regain their breath, although in much haste since their friends were holding back the enemy below.

Before them was a circular room with no windows. All walls were constructed of flawless chrome, which had a metallic sheen that dazzled the eye. In the center, a clear capsule the height of the room was bolted excessively to both floor and ceiling. A sickly green glow emanated from what seemed to be glass, but was most likely much harder. A complex control panel covered with colored switches, buttons, and levers stood before it.

And inside was a human figure.

It was in an upright position, floating in the center of the capsule. Completely motionless, even its hair did not sway the tiniest bit. It looked relaxed, as its hands were at its sides, palms open. Its skin was a startling, outlandish black which went far beyond the hue of any normal human. It was a complete black, a full black that, rather than indicating darkness and emptiness, emanated awe-inspiring energy, even from behind the glass-like barrier. Its eyes were closed, its face flawless, its body strong and lean and perfect. Its hair was a deep gray, shining as if it were made of thousands of flexible steel wires, yet able to flow as smoothly as the finest locks. It donned a familiar suit with a long, flowing cape of pearly white.

Luigi, Kaemon and Sour walked out of Toadington to see flat, sandy land. Sour still joyous of his experience with Madison, Luigi pulling on his mustache as usual but Kaemon was beginning to grow tiresome and bored.

"This is boring," Kaemon said. "You've all done something except for me and Im getting tired of just walking around."

Sour ignored Kaemons cry for excitement and Luigi continued to pull on his mustache. Suddenly, a bump grew out of the ground and Luigi tripped over the bump and fell face first. Luigi's face grew redder than a pepper. He sprinted after the bumps on the ground. Kaemon grew a smirk on his face while him and Sour began to run after Luigi.

Luigi finally caught up to the moving bumps just to have a giant figure jump out in his face. Luigi fell backwards from suprise. Suddenly Luigi muttered the words "Monty Moles!"

The Monty Mole was cocky but quick. It had a large grin on its face and was looking for some travellers.

"I am from the famous Monty Mole tribe!" Yelled the Mole. "My name is Moleman and I am second in command to the Monty Mole King! If you complete my challenge than I will grant you a conversation with our king."

Kaemon stood forward awaiting this challenge. He pulled out his swords in ready stance.

"Im ready!" Kaemon explained.

The mole tossed Kaemon a hammer.

"You will need this instead," The Moleman spat.

Kaemon dropped his swords and grabbed the hammer. The Monty Mole created 6 large holes. The game looked similar to "whack-a-mole"

"This game is simple", explained Moleman. "Just hit me in the head with that hammer when I pop up from these holes."

Soon, Moleman jumped into the hole and screamed "BEGIN!"

Kaemon ran into the middle and waited. Suddenly, Moleman appeared from the bottom left hole. Kaemon turned around and smashed the hammer but he had hit nothing. Soon, he heard someone spitting while sticking its tongue out. He turned around and slammed the hammer on the top-middle corner to see that he had hit air. Suddenly a wrench hit Kaemon in the back of the head. He was beginning to get angry.

Kaemon began to hit all over the place. He whacked that hammer anywhere and everywhere. When fatigue began to kick in, he stopped to look around. Still no Moleman being hit. Suddenly Kaemon began to concentrate. He focused all his power into the hammer and slammed it into the floor! The bang was so strong that Moleman flew out of the hole and that was when Kaemon saw his chance.

As Moleman tried to get back into the hole Kaemon swung the hammer just in time.

THWACK

Moleman was dizzy from the powerful hit to the head. Kaemon then grabbed him and whispered "Now where is that leader of yours?"

Moleman soon regained consiousness.

"Ok youngster", Moleman said. "You only won because I went easy on you but I will take you to our leader.

Moleman began walking and soon they arrived on what looked like an underground mine. Moleman spoke to the guard moles who were holding sharp wrenches. Soon they allowed Kaemon and Moleman to pass but when Sour and Luigi walked up the guards blocked the entrance.

Soon, Kaemon was standing in front of the mole King.



"Why do you come here?" Asked the King.

"I come here to ask for your assistance," Spoke Kaemon. "My friends and I are about to wage war and we need your assistance. We have already recruited the bomb ombs so you will have familiar friends.

The king laughed for a while and then looked at Kaemon in a serious tone.

"MOLEMAN!" yelled the king. "WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THIS KID HUH?"

Moleman stepped up nervously. He couldnt manage to mutter any words.

"He...he...he uhhh managed to defeat me in Whack-a-monty-mole," explained the nervous Moleman.

The King laughed again. "Do me the honor of battling you."

Sour was standing outside restless and bored out of his mind. He paced back in forth for the past 3 hours. Suddenly, Kaemon walked outside with bruises all over his face. He grinned widely and managed to say "We got the moles...but I need a bandage."

Luigi laughed out loud.

"I'll go bring the ship while you-a take Kaemon to the hospital,"Luigi mentioned.

Sour had to hold Kaemon up as the bruises on him managed to show that Kaemon had a great battle and even though Kaemon was unconsious, he managed to keep that grin on his face.

{Zel, Zelda, Ian}
[Telma's Bar]

Zel pulled out a Smash Orb and began to speak.

"ATTENTION SSS. This is Zel speaking reporting in with a status report. I have spoken with the Gorons and Zoras and have persuared them to join us in the war. I am currently preparing to speak with the Hyrule Royal Guard and with Princess Zelda with me I think they'll be quick to join. I would also like all other groups to tell me of their current status and if they need back up. Which would be provided by the fleet. Zel out."

Zel opened his cloak's left pocket and dropped the Smash Orb in there. Just at that moment 20 men in armor walked into the bar and say themselves down in a large booth. Telma watched as Zel, Ian, and Zelda followed them in and got three glasses and a bottle of whine.

"Well hello there friends. What will it be?" said the bar lady.

"The name's Zel. I'm the one who sent Kaebora Gaebora here with the meeting arrangements." Zel clearified.

"OH. Your just in time the guard just got here. Come I'll introduce you." Telma said. "Gentlemen here is the man that called the meeting. His name is Zel."

"Good evening gentlemen. I apologize if I seem winded I just got finished talking with the Zoras and still a little tired from the trip here. Now as you have probably noticed you, Hyrule's best, have been locked out of Hyrule Castle. As you know Ganondorf is behind this. Soon he will attack all of Hyrule and burn the forests and enslave the free peoples. He is being used by a malevolent man named Crehavos. Who seven years ago took over the universe. Now the organization that I work for is fighting Crehavos and is recruiting people to help. We are the only peolple who offer safety. We are the SSS. The Super Smash Saviors. I now give you someone who is in this organization and also your ruler. Princess Zelda."

"Thank you. I as your ruler ask that you please come and help the SSS with our fight. Anyone here that helps will have their salary multiplied ten fold." Zelda stated.

"We will help you" declared the General of the guard.

One hour later the group of soliders, Zel, Ian, and Zelda were all back at the ship and were ready for lift off. The ship broke through the atmosphere and was on route to Skytown. Zel set up a communications array and opened a comlink with the Head Quarters.

"Eiron Come in Eiron. This is Zel, I have successfully persuaded the Gorons, Zoras, and the Royal Guard to join the army. Do you copy?"

"Hear you loud in clear Zel. Where is your current location?" Eiron asked.

"We are currently 5 minutes away from the HQ." Zel anwsered.

"Thats great news. We await your arrival." Eiron said as he closed the communication message.

The ship soon found them selves in the HQ Hangar. As the races and soliders exited the ship, Zel made his way to the meeting room. Eiron was no where to be seen. Zel pulled out the Smash Orb and called out "Hey Eiron I'm back at the HQ."

"So it would seem you had a quick and easy job" Eiron spoke.

"It seems that way." Zel said. "Any word from the other parties?"

[Eiron, Toran]
{Skytown, Elysia}

Suddenly, Eiron’s communicator crackled to life, Zel’s voice issuing out of it. “Oy!” Eiron called into the small device, “I’m over with Toran in West Skytown, though I really would love to be just chilling at the meeting room and staring out over the city. Unfortunately, I’m making nuclear bombs at the moment.”

Just then, several large cargo ships appeared over Eiron’s head, awaiting instructions.

“Oh right, one more thing. I need you to send a ship back to Greenhell to pick a girl named Hina up.”

(OOC: Black Star, just say that a ship came and picked you up in your next post so you don’t have to wait on anyone.)

[Micaiah, Sothe, Dawn Brigade]
{Nevassa, Daein}

“Is everyone here?” Micaiah asked, gazing around the dilapidated room. They had settled in the back of a small tavern within the city limits, its smoky ambiance shrouding the group in shadows. The girl stood, and all attention immediately settled onto her. She seemed to shine in the darkness, a brilliant beacon of hope in the darkest of hours, and each and every person there leapt to their feet, ready to lay down their lives for the Maiden of Dawn.

The ragtag group of rebels was composed of the Dawn Brigade, a group of freedom fighters that had been formed to fight off Begnion’s occupation forces. This group was composed of Micaiah’s dearest friends; there was Edward, whose confidence and energy was unparalleled, and his best friend Leonardo, who’s calm and cautious demeanor matched Edward’s excited zeal. There was General Tarauneo, former Rider of Daein, whose strength and guidance had always been there to rely on, Nolan with his gentle smile and calm words of wisdom, Laura with her kindness, and Aran with his stoic calm. There was Zihark and Jill, veterans of the Mad King’s War, both of whom had served under General Ike. And there was Sothe. Sothe, who had always been there to protect her, and who always would be.

“Yes Lady Micaiah, everyone is present.” General Tarauneo began solemnly. “We find ourselves in much the same position as when we first met: Begnion occupies our home from afar, and we lie ragged and thin, our resistance ready to crumble.”

Nolan stepped forward, toying absent mindedly at his goatee. “General Jarod once again leads the occupying forces. More pressing however, is the Begnion Senate.” He paused, thinking to himself. “They remain as corrupt as always, but they have shed the pretentions of Ashera’s favor. Now, they claim the divine right to rule by the blessing of a Demon King.” Murmurs erupted around the room, and the crowd looked anxiously up to Micaiah, asking for explanations.

“Yes, everyone, our enemy is indeed a Demon King.” Micaiah said, looking into the eyes of each of her friends. “A monster that would spread his darkness across all of our worlds. I come before you to ask that you once more lend me your strength. Help me destroy the evil known as Crehavos.”

“Edward stood forward, beaming confidently. “Come on guys, we took on the Goddess Ashera! We can take this Crehavos guy no problem.”

“Most of the Daein army has been forced into hiding or placed in work camps.” Leonardo said, joining his friend. “Once they’re released and armed, this Crehavos will be facing the most dangerous army Tellius has to offer.”

The others nodded in approval, smiling. “Thank you all,” Micaiah said, tears in her eyes. She smiled, remembering the trials they had faced together. “Thank you.”

“Yes, thank you.” Came a harsh, cynical voice from the doorway. “Thank you for all so conveniently coming to this little get together…”

Micaiah whipped around, drawing a magic tome out of her travelling cloak. Across the murky room, a dark figure filled the doorway, leaning nonchalantly against its rim. A wickedly sharp lance rested easily in his hand, glistening ominously, as did the bright red armor that adorned him.

“Jarod.”

[Ike, Captain Falcon, Crimean Retainers]
{Melior, Crimea}

“Ludveck again?” Ike asked, sitting down across from Lady Lucia. The young swordswoman nodded and raised her hand absent mindedly to her short blue hair.

“Crehavos’ “envoys” released him from prison and seated him as a puppet ruler.” She answered tiredly. “We managed to evacuate Queen Elincia in time, and most of our knights have managed to escape as well.”

“That’s something then.” Ike said, tiredly. “I need to return to the Greil Mercenaries. Captain Falcon will remain with you and gather the knights.”

Falcon stood up from the wall he had been leaning against and grinned. “Worried what the family would say if you brought me home?”

“Something like that.” Ike replied, getting up to leave. “We can count on the Royal Knights then?”

“Of course,” Lucia answered, rising with him. “You won’t be staying to say hello to the Queen? It would mean so much to her…”

“I’m sorry, but we don’t have a lot of time. The rest of my comrades in the SSS are readying for battle, and we cannot afford to waste any time.”

“I understand…” Lucia answered, sadden slightly. “I will give her your regards.”

“Thank you.” Ike said. “I will return as quickly as I can for you.” With that, he turned and walked out the door, and into the night.

Lucia watched him leave, then sighed. After a moment, she turned to Falcon. “Sir Falcon, please come with me. I will introduce you to Queen Elincia and my brother Geoffrey, head of the Crimean Royal Knights.

“Uh, right. Sure. Yes ma’am.” Falcon replied awkwardly. “Royalty huh?”

There, before the Super Smash Saviors, was Sovaherc, the one person who could bring about victory for them against the King of Demons. For such a long time, at least to Bob Snicket, he had been nothing but a name, a theory which could be discussed and planned but was not tangible. Just a combination of letters that symbolized the flare of hope which they had to succeed in the end. But now, on this 10th floor of the inverted SSS HQ, that word had been given a face, a meaning, a reality which could not be replaced by anything less than the person himself. It was like seeing one's flag flying in the midst of battle, reminding one of the purpose and potential behind their endeavors, and the secret atomic bomb which they had in hidden reserve with which to turn the tide of war. Even amidst the harried circumstances in which they found themselves, the SSS could not help but notice that.

Then, coming back to the present, Snicket realized what they had to do. "Friends, comrades," he said, looking left and right at those who had come all this way with him, aware that Yoshi and Diddy Kong and Reswob and Frodnonag were as he spoke combating a throng of evil beings with possibly the most malicious of all standards (being the complete opposite of the Saviors). "We must free him."

Bob stepped forward, drew out his Super Hammer, and with all the strength his slim frame could muster, swung it sideways into the greenish glass. Not surprisingly, it did not crack or dent in the slightest, jarring his hands backward with the force exerted in the opposing reaction. The boy shrugged, then stepped aside, looking at the rest and indicating that someone else should try.

Following this was a list of futile attempts. Dobs tried to stab through the barrier with his sais. LGN blasted it with his gun. Samus unleashed a full Charge Shot and a few missiles in addition. Banjo swung his blue backpack with a grunt at the container, while Kazooie jumped out of it shortly beforehand firing at the capsule every type of egg known to man. Including some known only to dolphins. Kin and Snake implemented various assorted explosives. LGN then also messed with the control panel, searching for the combination which would release him. But none of these methods so much as scratched the material that held the unconscious Sovaherc captive.

Meanwhile, coming up the stairs in a panic were four wounded, cut, and bruised figures: Reswob, Frodnonag, Yoshi, and Diddy. The clamor behind them was growing louder.

Yoshi stumbled forward. "Bob...th...they're...c-coming...hurry..." He went to his friend's side, panting. Sure enough, the clamoring grew louder, their enemies appearing to be just around the turn in the stairs. A glow of eerie blue light emanated from below.

Snicket shook his head, despair and dread filling his heart and his mind. Had they come all this way only to fail at the end because of a mere unbreakable barrier? It seemed so anticlimactic, so wrong a way for their story to end even if they were doomed to go down in martyrs' blood. This couldn't be the end. It was impossible.

The Super Smash Savages burst through the stairway like the dark angels of Hell, the devil's hand-picked servants to stab at the righteous where it would hurt most. The worst part was that they seemed so familiar to them, the exact replicas in shape and size and mobility of their good friends back in their own universe. But they stood for the polar opposite of what the Saviors stood for: peace, order, justice, freedom. They were agents of chaos, and as many as could vocally express their wild hatred of the good strangers before them, did so. Konkey Dong bellowing savagely, his voice vibrating like a rippling earthquake, was most prominent among their bloodlusting yells. And without a moment's hesitation, without a shred of consideration to the ethicality of their thoughtless killing, they leapt forward to fall upon the foes they would never know. Time seemed to slow to a quarter its normal pace, as if wanting to drag out the heroes' suffering.

Yet there was one who had been forgotten, who had not yet had a chance at freeing Sovaherc from his imprisonment. The mysterious, taciturn X approached the capsule in the heroes' moment of doom, every second pulling away from them as if their life force were the grains of sand draining through an hourglass. The black-suited young man shook his head. There was only one thing that could pierce that substance.

X drew out a knife, as black as obsidian, as black as his suit. The Black Pearl, it was called. Seeing out of the corner of his eye the hosts of malice falling upon his companions, he drew back the blade and plunged it into the greenish glass. It penetrated the capsule like butter, and with a swift motion, he slit it around the entire container.

The device holding Sovaherc at bay collapsed in on itself, igniting several explosions and shorted fuses and streams of smoke. A sickly green gas steamed out of the capsule, dissipating into the air with a long hiss. The figure inside it continued to hover motionlessly.

Yor's blade came forward, coming within inches of piercing through Bob's heart.

And then the powerful black fists clenched. Sovaherc's eyes opened.

The Super Smash Savages froze where they were, Snicket looking down at the sword only a fraction of a second from ending his life. He had already been stabbed once in the recent past, and that had been in the shoulder. He could not have survived another.

Throughout the room, the other heroes were still free to move while the Savages were completely immobilized. Pigglyjuff was stopped mid-float, a Shadow Ball from Owtwem as motionless as the one who cast it.

But Reswob and Frodnonag had not been so lucky. Knil had struck the latter with the inverted Master Sword before Sovaherc had frozen him. Likewise, Oiram had crunched the former's neck, snapping it with his boot, now frozen in the act. But it was too late; both had died instantly.

Snicket, as well as the rest of his party, looked over in wonderment at Sovaherc. New life had become evident in his body, the powerful aura radiating from his bold, astounding skin like the sun's heat. His dark silver hair flowed around him as if there were a fierce wind, the white cape reacting likewise. And his eyes. The eyes were the strongest, deepest green imaginable, reflecting life and energy and vitality. Replacing the red pupils of Crehavos, these eyes were in what one could see potency which could be hoped to triumph over their crimson cousins. And rather than imply hopelessness, despair, and damnation, Sovaherc's eyes promised fulness of life, salvation, and happiness.

Sovaherc concentrated his invincible gaze on the enemies he had frozen, and then narrowed his eyes as if passing judgement. Slowly at first, and then brighter and more apparent, the Savages' details and features were lost in a glorious light which consumed their bodies. The majestic effulgence increased until it glowed such that Snicket and the other mortals could not look upon it, for it exceeded the brightness of the sun. And then, when they next raised their heads, the corrupt SSS had burst into streams of light, reflecting every color of the rainbow like a fireworks show signifying their own defeat. And then, there was nothing.

Sovaherc did not even need to ask them who they were or why they had come. But he did speak, his voice firm but calm, like Crehavos. "You have my gratitude, warriors of truth, for liberating me from the bonds of darkness. Tell me where your cause is based, and I shall assuredly aid in His fall."

Still in amazement, it was a moment before Snicket could find the words to answer. He felt it appropriate to incline his head slightly in a gesture of respect. "We have...moved our base to the Skytown known as Elysia."

So ended the SSS's adventure in the Anti-Dimension.

[Reeka's Laboratory--Hell]

We have...moved our base to the Skytown known as Elysia.

The voice echoed in the mad scientist's twisted mind, as clearly as if they were his own thoughts.

Professor U. Reeka immediately dropped what he was doing, in a state of pleasant shock.

"Yes....YES!...."

He stepped through the door leading into the room where Crehavos was residing on his throne, almost jumping up and down with excitement, but managing to restrain himself. This was his chance to prove his worth to his new master. He'd best not fumble it up.

Reeka approached the Emperor of the Universe, making the necessary gestures of respect and submission. The Lord of Hell looked down on him as if he were a worm he might fancy to squash.

"For what purpose do you intrude, scientist?" he said with scarcely hidden irritation in his voice.

"Masster," the professor spoke in a nearly rushed tone, "I have some information which will be of greatest interest to you. The information you have been waiting for...."

This was going to have to be quick, they all knew that, although the longer landing time than they though was a bit of a nuisance They couldn't risk being caught. They then noticed a girl, an artist in fact, examining a transparent egg. There was also something inside it, and they could tell that it was caring.

"Sonic, see if there's anyone else here that Cara can't see, and Cara, check if there's anyone here with perception", Diachi ordered. He wasn't used to ordering others, but he couldn't be too careful.

The artist noticed them, and examined them briefly. They seemed to have been here before. They probably knew Dreamland as well as she did.

Diachi then remembered why Kirby went back to Dreamland, and decided to check if he'd done it. He pulled out a phone, which Adeleine noticed was quite different from the one Kirby had, but had quite a few similarities as well.

"Hey, Kirb, you rounded up any Waddles?" Diachi knew Kirby by now and wasn't asking to know if he rounded up any, but how many he rounded up.

"Quite a few, I managed to convince Dedede to give us some as well, so there should be enough. You got Meta-Knight yet?" Kirby replied, trying to get this done with as soon as possible.

"Just about to. By the way, didn't you tell us that you met an artist before?" He was sure that Kirby did at some time, when telling them about the people in Dreamland.

"Yeah, I did, she was called Adeleine. It's been a while since I've seen her, though isn't that a bit off topic right now?" Kirby was wondering where this question came from.

"I think she's here with me right now. She has a transparent egg-like thing with her. Do you know anything about that?" Diachi knew this was her, he just knew it.

"She's an artist who can make her drawings come to life, so you should try to get her to come with you. She'll probably come with you if you let her know that you're friends with me. On the other hand, I don't know anything about the egg, sorry."

" That's alright Kirb, I'll send Sonic to get you and the others back to the ship before I get Meta-knight, k?"

"Yeah I'm at Dedede's castle."

"Sonic!" At this word the blue hedgehog came back almost instantly, "I need you to get Kirby and the other over here. He's at Dedede's castle, so they won't be hard to find. We'll meet back here".

Without even replying

Without even replying, he rushed off in the direction of the castle. Diachi smirked slightly before turning towards the artist.

"I guess you're Adeleine". He said with a faint smile. She looked at him. She hadn't seen him before and had an odd vibe coming from him. He looked ordinary but seemed to have been from... some other world. And not in the way that the egg was. He seemed to have came from further away than that.

"Yes" she said giving a small smile back, "who were you talking to?" It seemed a silly question but she had to make sure.

"On the phone earlier or the hedgehog? Ah might as well tell you who they both are. The hedgehog's Sonic while the one that I was talking to on the phone earlier was your friend, Kirby". He thought for a moment before continuing; "He said that you should come with us".

Adeleine had to think. It didn't take long though, because she missed Kirby and wanted to see him again. The mention that he was going to get Meta-Knight may have only strengthened her decision.

"Yes, of course." She answered, after the thought of meeting her friends again. She then remembered the egg. She wasn't sure what to do with it. Diachi looked at the egg closely, and saw something inside it.

"Cara" He said, in a calm tone "Can you see the personalty of that?" He asked pointing at the egg.

"It's good natured if that's what you mean". She replied in an equally calm voice.

"Good. Adeleine, can you go in the ship and take care of the egg?"

She gave an obligatory nod and with expertized care lifted The egg and put it gently into the ship.

[The Halberd's Hanger]
The Halberd had taken a great amount of time to re-construct, but it was back to it's former glory. Diachi and Cara walked in and looked at Meta-Knight, the first they had met in this world.

"I really don't need to ask if you're gonna go with us, do I." Diachi said, remembering how the one known as Steele had stolen his cape.

"Of course" The warrior replied, examining the Halberd. "You know as much as I do why I am doing this".

"Yeah, you're taking the Meta-Knights with ya too I guess. I just came to guarantee that you were ready".

"Don't worry, I am" He replied swiftly. "Just get back to your base".

"Alright, see ya"

Meta-knight looked at them as they left and thought, "They are strong, but..."

[Diachi's ship]
He came back to see Kirby, alongside a considerable amount of Waddle Dees and Waddle Doos, ready for this.

"Alright that was quicker than I thought it should be, not that I'm complaining. We should meet Meta-Knight at our base, so don't worry about him. So go on and get in the ship, we don't have too long". They then all rushed into the ship.

[Rorschach]

[Sour, Luigi, Kaemon in hospital]
[Mushroom Kingdom]

Luigi woke up to much noise. The ship seemed to look disfigured from the inside so Luigi decided to look outside and check out the situation. He looked outside to see dozens of Goombas swarming throughout the ship. Luigi sprinted inside and woke up Sour. Kaemon had still been resting in the hospital so Sour and Luigi had to deal with the situation on his own.

Suddenly, Sour screamed "GET THE HELL OFF!" The goombas instantly froze and stared at the duo of warriors. Suddenly, Sour and Luigi found themselves surrounded by swarms of goombas.

"Ok," Luigi whispered to Sour. "All you have to do is jump on them."

Sour nodded and grabbed air. He realized that he forgot his staff.

He looked back to see even more Goombas surrounding him. It had seemed that large goombas had joined in the battle. Sour and Luigi knew they were up for a fight.

The goombas charged at Sour and Luigi. Luigi instantly began jumping all over goombas as they slowly blew up into thin air with every foot pushing on their heads. Sour couldnt jump nearly as high as Luigi so he decided to jump like a bunny rabbit. He had no idea what he was doing until the giant goomba tackled him. Soon after Sour regained his balance, he jumped on the giant goomba and began riding it like it was a bull. The goomba trampled over anything in its sight and nearly squished Luigi.

After half of the goombas were trampled, Sour jumped off the goomba and sprinted inside to get his staff. Meanwhile Luigi was beginning to feel overwhelmed. His legs ached and he was starting to feel numb. Suddenly, Sour sprinted out and yelled "Keep them together!" to Luigi.

Luigi huddled the goombas together using his speed while Sour jumped in front of them and spun his staff so the wind could push the goombas into the ship. As the small goombas flew into the ship, Luigi flew into the big goombas with his rocket formation. The goomba rolled into the ship dizzy and unconsious.

Soon, all the goombas were rounded up. Sour and Luigi gave each other a high five and walked into the ship. Soon, the goombas were thrown into 3 different rooms to keep them all in tact. Sour and Luigi soon flew to the sky in preperation for finding Rosalina, her star children and Mario's flying hat.

The team finally arrived to the base where both Star Fox and the Cornerian Defense Force operate. Slippy came infront of the team and said, "Here's our base, the Cornerian Defense Base." Everyone looked around, and Genesis looked up and said, "Woah, its huge." Everyone entered inside the base.

"Alright," MM began, " Lets go!" The crew all took their seats as Rai lifted the ship off the ground. "Please wait patiently while we set a course for Showdown Town." There was a flash and the ship was on the ground again.

"That was fast," Rai said.

"Yeah, you put it at OMGTHISISSOFREAKINGFAST Speed. And thanks for waiting people." The crew exited the ship and L.O.G. floated down.

"Hello, SSS," L.O.G. said. "How can I be of assistance?"

"We need to have access to Mumbo's Mountain, Treasure Trove Cove, Clanker's Cavern, Bubblegloop Swamp, Freezeezy Peak, Gobi's Valley, Mad Monster Mansion, Rusty Bucket Bay, Click Clock Wood, Mayahem Temple, Glitter Gulch Mine, Witchyworld, Jolly Roger's Lagoon, Hailfire Peaks, Terrydactyland, Cloud Cuckooland, Grunty Industries, and Cauldron Keep." MM stated.

"All of them?" L.O.G. asked. MM nodded.

"We need to gather as many people as possible." Rai added.

"Alright," L.O.G. looked to the center of the town and two portals appeared. "The portal on thenorth side leads to Gruntilda's Lair where you can access all levels from Banjo-Kazooie without the necessary amount of jiggies. The portal to the south side leads to Isle O' Hags to give you access to all the Banjo-Tooie levels without the necessary amount of jiggies."

"Thank you L.O.G." MM bowed and turned to the crew. "We will split into two groups. I will be going to Gruntilda's Lair. Rai will go to Isle O' Hags. we need to split as even as possible."

OOC: For all i know... I'm talking to myself... I think Bob was excited about it so i dont know if he has a character in it or not.
