Chapter 3: A New World Order

Zel: Well now if everyone is done lets get to taking out the guards. Ian go open the hangar door and I'll clear all the enemies with my little tricks. Anyone who wants to help find the missing forumers and get a foot hold in this war had better prep their ships or find a ride.

Ian ran to the hangar control room and opened the door and Zel stood in the middle of the hangar while everyone watched from the control room. When the door completely opened Zel waited and eventually all 50 guards ran in and took aim and warned him to remove his weapons.

Zel: Oh uh I do believe I what is it people from Earth say? Oh yes. You see my friends I have no intentions on going to jail while Crehavos mains and slaughters innocent people.

The Tantheon disseapered and moved with cunning speed and with only 5 slashes of his blade and the men fell down with their throats slit.

[Ghost]

Cyberbite was breathing heavily as he observed his attacker. Who was this idiot and why did he so quickly attack him and steal Ayumi from him before he could get her to safety?

"What the hell's your problem?" asked Cyberbite in a low and aggravated voice. "You only have two options here. The first is to hand over the girl and leave. The second...well...you better hope we don't have to go there."

X spun his staff a couple of times as he observed the hound. "Well i guess we're going to have to explore that second option, cause I'm not going to let you do anything to her. I'm gonna send you back to Crehavos like the rest of your hell hound brethren."

Cyberbite looked as if he had been slapped across the face by this information. What could this fool be talking about? "Cre-what? Hell hound?" He exclaimed. "Look you've got the wrong number, now I'm only warning you once. Give Ayumi back or there's gonna be consequences. Now MOVE IT!"

X laughed slightly at this. "Not a chance. Ayumi is it? Don't be afraid, I'll send this evil creature back to where he came from, and you will be safe. All these beasts are alike, mindless dogs."

Although he didn't know it, X had just made the single worst mistake he had made during his whole encounter with Cyberbite. The wolf's blood began to boil at the very thought of the words "beast" and "mindless." He had been struggling with this very problem since his transformation. He clenched his robotic hand and punched a large hole into the ground. Dust went flying as he looked up at X unable to control himself any longer.

"So, you're one of those petty minded @$$es aren't you!? One so set in his mind that because i have the body of a wolf, i am some form of mindless beast here to ravage the land and slay everything in my sight. ISN'T THAT WHAT YOU'RE TRYING TO SAY!!!!!?" shouted Cyberbite with spit streaming from his exposed razor sharp teeth.

X did not reply. He simply stood there in a fighting stance, getting prepared for the battle ahead. Cyberbite growled at X for his lack of response. "So be it," exclaimed the wolf, "If a mindless beast you believe i am, then a mindless beast i shall become. Very fitting due to my hunger. I shall slice you open and DINE UPON YOUR HEART!!!!!!!!"

Something had temporarily snapped in Cyberbites brain. The fury of years of ridicule were all coming out upon X at once. His eyes began to glaze over slightly as he gave into his more monstrous side. Cyberbite roared at X and began to run towards him. X ran to meet him and both clashed at the halfway point. X's staff struck Cyberbite hard in the ribs, but Cyberbite's bionic arm met with the side of X's face. Both went flying backwards from the blows. X shook his head from the dizziness just in time, as Cyberbite had leaped into the air and was landing, open mouth first, towards him. X leaped into the air in a back flip, just as Cyberbite landed on the ground. X landed nearby clutching his staff. Realizing the advantage of X's agility, Cyberbite knew this battle was going to be long, but Agility alone would not secure his enemy's victory.

Zel: well now that thats settled.

Everyone exited the control room and went down to the hangar floor.

Ian: Nice idea to use the flashstep move.

Zel: Heh mere childs play. Now everyone whose on board with my plan needs to get in a ship and go to near planets and cleanse them of the CEA. Then travel to Tantheon within 5 days by then I will have the army ready for sure.

Link: You fools think you actually have a chance.

Zel: shut your mouth or I'll take an arrow to your throat.

Link: I DARE YOU

Zel used the flash step and stopped behind him and used a knock back jynx and rendered him unconsious.

Zel: done

OOC: From now on everyone at the HQ , that agreed with Zel's plan needs to go to to different planets and cleanse them of the evil armies of Crehavos.

[Treasure Trove Cove]

The virtual wall of red-feathered darts came speedily toward them, clearly not the harmless ones filled with paint.

"Quick, hide in these!" Snake ordered as he withdrew from somewhere four rectangular reconaissance boxes and dropped to the ground himself, concealing his body with the cardboard. Snicket, Veronica, and Game & Watch did likewise, fearing whether the shields would be strong enough to protect them.

Fwoopfwoopfwoopfwoopfwoopfwoopfwoop!

Each box vibrated as several darts pounded into the side with a figure huddled inside; surprisingly, however, the boxes held out until the initial blast of darts thinned into a steady, lazy barrage.

I have to get closer to it... Bob thought, inching foot by foot toward the vicious totem pole. But then, an ancient bellow reminded him of the big, stone feet which could probably flatten him as flat as Game & Watch. Inching away again, Snicket made up his mind. There's only one thing to do...I have to go out and face that thing. Perhaps then, he could destract it long enough before being struck down for the others to have a chance to escape.

So, with a deep breath, the boy lifted the box off his head and stood up.

Immediately, he blocked a dart with a raise of his Super Hammer. But then, the faces on each layer of Targitzan all rotated to face him, seeming to tilt up or down toward their new target. Even the golden head seemed to look down on him with a menacing jeer. "Insolent boy! The last sight you shall see in this life will be that of those you care about, losing their lives because of you!"

But Snicket just shook his head, rolling his eyes. "I've already seen that. Are you saying I'm already dead?"

That took Targitzan aback a little, but he soon regained his towering composure. "You are about to be! FIRE!"

Simultaneously, a solid line of speeding darts spewed out of the mouths, their rapid journey taking them directly toward Bob's heart.

Snicket dived away to the left, so most of the darts zoomed past him, but one seared across his shoulder, ripping through the fabric of his cloak and tunic and causing him to wince with pain. As he landed, the heads turned, firing all the while, ceaselessly, mercilessly...

A crossfire of round, light blue objects came from another direction entirely, striking Targitzan's various levels at the target drawings. Roaring from the unexpected attack, the totem pole swiveled his many heads around, firing in all directions in an attempt to dispose of the newcomer, but the eggs took advantage of this to hit every other target around the stone structure until they had all been hit.

Targitzan stopped firing darts, and his other levels also stopped swiveling. But now, he was vibrating, shaking like he was having a seizure.

And, finally, a finishing round object, this time dark green, sped past Snicket's eyes, and crashed into Targitzan's face. The rock-hewn enemy exploded into innumerable chunks and pieces, producing dust and debris, but instead of causing harm, all the rock vanished into golden dust, leaving an empty peak in the center of the island.

And there was silence.

Veronica removed her box and glanced about her until she found Snicket. "Bob! What happened?"

A relieved smile crossed his face. He pointed behind her. "I think you should ask our new comrades yourself."

Veronica looked around.

It was a walking, cartoony bear with a long snout, big, determined blue eyes, and, most significantly, sporting yellow shorts and a blue backpack. Perked up inside the backpack was a red, chicken-like bird, already sassy just by her appearance and her expression, her wings folded at her sides.

The two Brawlers finally removed their boxes as well, sensing the danger was over. They started at the sight of the newcomers.

"Just who the heck are you?" Snake inquired suspiciously.

The bear, Banjo, made a slight bow, not graceful, but kindly. "I'm Banjo! This is my companion, Kazooie," he said, gesturing toward the breegull who rolled her eyes and looked away. "We were just taking a fly around the island when we notice Targitzan and thought you could use some help."

"Fartgitzan," Kazooie, the bird, corrected. "And what, may I ask, are you? Give me one good reason not to peck your brains out!"

"Kazooie!" Banjo groaned at his partner. "Mind your manners!" He sighed, then gave Snicket a see-what-I-have-to-deal-with? look. "Sorry about her. She never hesitates to,er...speak her mind. What can we do for you?"

Bob responded. "This question might sound very strange, but...is there anywhere on or around this island that is known to provide transport between dimensions? We became stuck here, and are trying to get back to our own world as quickly as possible," he explained.

"Well...yeah, I think there's something like that inside Sharkfood Island, but...that's said to lead to a very strange and far-off place. Would you mind telling us more?" Banjo sounded very curious, but unwilling to prod too much.

Bob hesitated. They needed to return to the HQ as fast as they could. But then again...

He looked the strange partnership up and down. These two looked like a pair of fighters as competent as any Brawler. That egg-spitting action, especially the Grenade Egg display at the end, had been quite impressive. Perhaps a little honest persuasion might recruit two more strong individuals to their cause. "Alright, I'll tell you everything. But it's a long story..."

{HQ}

Zel: Ian

Ian: Sir

Zel: go to the kitchen and put all the food in these boxes. Then bring them back here and we'll distribute them amongst the group.

Link: hold on you cant just take our rations and go.

Zel: I thought I told you not to talk so big BOY.

Link withdrew his sword and leaped into the air. Zel removed his sword from its sheath and released it.

Zel: Scatter, Zenbonzakura Kogeyo-

Brooke jumped between them drew an arrow into the bow and pointed it at Link and Ian had a pistol at Zel's arm.

Ian: Phew! That was a close one. What do you think your doing Captian. You know you shouldnt release your bankai in theis area.

Zel: It is allowed due to the War Time Orders. Anyway I Havent the time to waste on this filth. Have you gathered the food and distibuted it to what ships are on our side.

Ian: Yes Sir Captian Sir.

Zel: Then set the cooridnates for Tantheon the Navicomputer and get the systems ready and strap in.

Brooke and Ian went to the ship and got the ship ready. Meanwhile, Zel found himself still in a fight with the Hero of Time.

Link: Your ... not ..going...anywhere

Zel: EXPELIAMOUS

The jynx threw Link into the wall. He said this as the Outlander 5 was leaving the hangar.

Zel: You have my orders my friends , at least those of you that agree with my plan. Come to Tantheon in 5 days but dont wait til tommorow to leaev. Go today and cleanse what planets you can.

Zel ran and leaped onto the open hatch and wave bye to the group as the hatch closed.

(Nuwa, SSS HQ)

Nuwa searched through the endless rooms of the HQ. She went from room to room looking for members of the resistance. After searching for about an hour she finally she sat down and rested for a bit. "I don't know where to go" She shouted. Her voice echoed through the halls of the corridor. She heard a sound coming from the nearest hallway. "Ucria!! Ucria!!" They voice said. Nuwa hid behind the wall of the room and observed. Two people ran through the door. The first one was a young maiden that looked as if she was crying, the second was a man and he seemed to be concerned about the girl he was chasing.

"I wonder what's going on?" Nuwa said as she walked towards the middle of the room. Suddenly she felt a cold presence coming from outside. A dark, cold and powerful aura was approaching the building fast. "Crehavos he's here" Nuwa was surprisingly worried. He must have come here for a purpose. It would be unwise to talk to him now if he is looking for something. Kai let's hide for now. I have a feeling things are going go get very chaotic".

[Cell]

[Crehavos, Ucria]
[SSS HQ]

Swinging the doors aside, the maiden Ucria darted from the room, away from that heartless... supposed Hero. The damsel quickly managed to get to her favorite spot, outside of the building, in the garden. She plopped herself down on her usual rock, and cried; mascara and tears blemishing her beautiful face. Why would Link say such hurtful things to her? What did she ever do wrong to him, and how did he know of her prior relationship with that monster? Only God knows...

After a few moments of silent sobbing, Ucria managed to calm herself down and wipe her face clean. She blankly gazed upon her flowers, thinking of how carefree and happy their lives must be. The wind was softly blowing, making them seem to wilt out of the maiden's distress. There was something amiss in the air itself, Ucria had been feeling it since she came outside the HQ. Ucria lifted her head, eyes red and puffy from the tears that fell earlier. The maiden gasped sharply at what her eyes fell upon. Dark attire, pale skin, flawless and handsome face. Silver hair shifting slightly in the wind, and the reversed black and white eyes set softly upon Ucria's aqua blue ones.

There stood Crehavos, outside of the protective HQ barrier on a small hill close by.

The maiden quickly stood, eyes flashing with rage. Crehavos did nothing, continuing to stare at the lovely woman.

"You're angry to see me." Crehavos said calmly.

"Who WOULDN'T be angry to see you, filthy tyrant?!" Ucria shrieked. Tempted to bring out her weapon, but remembered the barrier that stood between them.

As though he read her mind, Crehavos stated, "You're very fortunate that barrier stands guard between us. Protected from my evil heart."

"What do you want of me, demon? What brought you here?!" Ucria growled, eyes beginning to water up again in frustration.

"Fate, I presume." the Dark Emperor said simply. He continued to gaze at the maiden, in an almost eerie fashion. This was starting to frighten Ucria.

"Get away.... GO!" She screamed, pulling out her saphire rod. She pointed it directly at Crehavos, and blasted him with an icy attack. It flew straight out of the barrier, but Crehavos vanished in a mist of black, whispy smoke. There was a sound of cracking ice, and blown away rubble. The Dark Emperor was gone.

"Don't you fret, my dear. You will not be laying eyes on me again..."

The black haired maiden continued to stare at the spot where Crehavos had been, but shortly after grew faint; collapsing and landing on her knees.

New horror lies ahead, that she knew for sure.

[Nuwa, SSS HQ]

The cold aura she felt disappeared and with it Nuwa's worries. "Well that was fast. I wonder what he was doing here"? Nuwa came out of her hiding place and walked down the nearest hallway. She opened one of the doors and walked into someone's bedroom. Nuwa felt a little tired after the long journey through the mountains. She decided to take a short nap to regain her strength. *Kai please guard me while I sleep" Nuwa said as she climbed into the bed and closed her eyes. Kai climbed into the bed and curled up next to her. The spirit pendent around her neck began glowing bright red. A small protective barrier appeared around Nuwa as her as she slept.

X clutched his staff, landing from the attacks. He looked back to Ayumi, looking at the two fighters, scared and confused. As he looked at her, he saw some of his cousin's in her, and he was amazed at how she reminded him of them. And she also reminded him of someone else.
"I'm getting you to safety," X whishpered, but before he even turned to get to her, Cyberbite came running at X. Cyberbite attempted to strike him with his bionic arm. X quickly whipped out his sword to deflect it, and the move worked. But as the arm hit the sword, a tiny chip appeared in the sword and a small piece of metal flew into X's right eye.

"Gah!" X cried out. he knew what just happened, it had happened to him before. and he didnt want his eye to get infected. He showed Cyberbite his right palm, which had a red X on it. From that came red energy, shaped in an X, which grabbed Cyberbite and restrained him. "C'mon, piggyback," X said, and bent down so Ayumi could grab onto him. After a second she silently agreed. X got up and began to run, carrying her easily and saying, "You can trust me, I swear. I would die before letting you."

As X was running, he could taste the blood from where Cyberbite had slashed him across the left side of his face. So X began to repair it temporarily with red and black energy filling in where the material was. But as he thought more, he decided against it, and the energy melted away, revealing the 3 scratch marks on his face.

But not long into X's run, he heard an engine, and turned to see Cyberbite biking after them.
"He's going right at us, hold on," X spun around inside her grip, so she was now grabbing him from the front. he gently lowered himself to the ground, and ;ay her down on the ground. X then got into a push-up posistion over her, and let the bike start to drive onto him. as the middle was over his feet, X kicked up, and sent the bike flying into the air. It was just too bad for him that Cyberbite wasn't on it anymore.

[Angel]

This was all happening so fast.. this man.. he seemed to have genuine concern for her well being. She blushed inside.. but Cyberbite cared about her too. She had to try.. she had to TRY and stop this again.. even if she was scared..

He set her on the ground suddenly and she decided it was time.. "Umm.." she started, but then noticed he was flinging Cyberbite's motorcycle in midair and panicked..

"AAAIIIIEEEEEEEEE!!" she screamed.. but softly enough to not be loud, but enough for the two to hear her. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry don't hurt me..." she whimpered.. out of habit, not actual need. She layed down on the ground and clutched her hair. She was REALLY afraid.

[Sour, Donin, forest]

Sour stopped walking with Donin.

Sour:Donin, I have to speak to you

Donin:well you can walk and talk

Sour: No. This is important.

Sour and Donin stopped.

Sour: Im leaving for a little while. Theirs been something inside that is telling me to go back.......there.

Donin: Do what you have to do, but when you need me, you'll find me.

Sour: ok, we rest tonight and I leave in the morning.

Sour and Donin set up camp, ate, and Sour fell to sleep.

Sour couldnt sleep, he was tossing and turning. Suddenly, he was in the SSS HQ, everybody was welcoming him back, people were smiling, and smashbro stood in front of him

dream smashbro: Welcome back Sour, its good to see you again.

Sour: wait I coudlve sworn I was......what the......I...

Sour was speechless, he coudlnt say anything, he didnt say anything, he just stood in the moment, and he felt something he didnt feel in a long time, happiness.

Suddenly that happiness was replaced with darkness, power and darkness.

Sour saw a destroyed wasteland that was once SSS HQ. In front of him standing on top of the remains, Donin. He had an evil smile on his face and bloodthirsty evil eyes. Sour felt power, destruction in his heart, he craved it, lusted for it, needed it as if it was a part of him.

Sour burst from his sleep. He realized it was a dream.....and that he had to leave now. Sour got up, not taking anything except the clothes on his back and his staff. He looked at Donin sleeping.

Sour: I'll be back, you'll see.

Sour then walked away...a slight grin on his face appeared. His eyes had an evil intimidating presence. He needed to destroy the SSS HQ.

As Sour walked away, Donin opened his eyes when the coast was clear.

Donin: hmmmm, I wonder what hes going to do next. This might be pretty interesting to watch.

[Ghost]

Cyberbite looked down at X who was still in a push up position over top of the frightened Ayumi. He was no longer as an uncontrolled beast. The sudden attack from X's palm had stunned him and seeing him flee with Ayumi turned his anger into a slight panic.


"What the hell's your problem? Letting me run over you when you were right over top of her. What if your arms would have broken? That would have been fine for you, i could care less, but i would have squished her. Use your brain next time dammit!" He shouted down at the bloody faced X. A small alarm went off from Cyberbite's eye which instructed him to look towards the sky. Directly above the duo, his motorcycle was crashing down. Rushing over towards them he grabbed the side of it with his bionic arm stopping it mid air only inches above X's Back. He jumped backwards and gently placed it down on the ground. Showing his claws once again, Cyberbite resumed a fighting stance as he stood there watching X and waiting for his next move.

X looked down at the frightened Ayumi. It was obvious to him that their actions had caused more damage than good. He continued to guard over her as Cyberbite shouted once more. "I don't have all day buttercup! I'm giving you fifteen seconds to get up and we end this now. I'm not letting you take her away from me. I've already lost enough, and i refuse to lose anything else. If it takes me placing your neck upon a wall mount then so be it. I will not back down, even if the price is my own life. At least then i will know i have tried, and i will get to be with her once more. Now get up before you frighten her further and fight like a man!"

X stood up and looked at Cyberbite strangely. This beast has shown emotion, and intelligence, and perhaps even love. These were not normal characteristics of a Hell Hound. Could this be a trick, or could it be real? He decided to address the hound. "You say you'd die to keep her safe from me?"

Cyberbite groweled and bare his sharp teeth towards X. "In a heartbeat!"

[Dobs]

[Samus, Peram, Zenkai, LGN, Alex, Alice]
{SSS HQ, Samus' Gunship}

After LGN boarded his ship alone, Samus turned to everyone else (all of which were driving with the clearly more saine samus) and said, "Ok, first we circle the battlefield directly around HQ. It should be about a ten minute flight path, no more. If we get pulled into Crehavos' army, there is a slim chance of us coming back. If we find anyone in this area, then we'll have to go back to HQ and find wome sort of way to clear the battlefields. Everybody ready?"

Everyone nodded and Samus took control of her gunship from her impressive looking command chair as all the others squeezed into the ships cargo hold. It was worth the lack of comfort not to be flying with LGN in his cereal mood behind the wheel.

"Everybody hold on tight," Samus extended her left arm forward and grasped her ship's thruster, and pulled back. The tri-sectioned gunship hovered in the air for a moment, as its moble arms snapped into place and suddenly flew forwards at neck-break speeds. LGN's ship followed, though, not as stylishly.

The gunship weaved in and out of the countless Battallions of Crehavos, dropping bombs every so often to keep from getting overwhelmed. LGN's ship followed in pursuit, shooting now weapons, but in sustaining such an illogical an sporadic flight path, no enemy fire made contact with his ship.

After 3 minutes after take off, a siren began to sound in the ship's cavern. "Warning fuel leak, Fuel Cell 3B has been punctured by enemy turrets." The message repeated itself and a red light began flashing.

"What's going on?" Peram asked.
"Technical diffic-"

Before samus could finish speaking, the hull of the ship made contact with the ground, and its passengers were thrown all about the cabin. After a few moments of violent shaking, the ship seemed to come to a halt.

"If you can move, you need to GET OUT! We need to get onto the battlefield now! Maybe LGN can pick us up!" Samus shouted.

The party scrambled to open the gunship's emergency hatch and stumbled out onto the smoldering earth below. The looked several feet behind them and saw that LGN had crashed too.

"What happened?"asked Samus.
"You crashed and I didn't want to feel left out."

Samus didn't have time to retort....a space pirate platoon was gathering around the hunter's fallen gunship...

[Angel]

Ayumi.. was touched. He would die.. for her? Meaningless her? This didn't make any sense. She had to find out.. why. She had to. This was no longer time for her to be carried around. This man that had made a mistake. He was nice.. and she hoped that he wouldn't be hurt by what she was about to do...

She used her Aura Hiding.. vanished in the darkness of X's own shadow. She thought for a moment what she was doing. She was making a choice. She hadn't made many of her own choices in this world. Even what she was doing now was just bending to her Master's will. She felt confident that this was the right choice. She then reappeared behind Cyberbite, using his shadow as the exit point. She stood there, and looked at X.

"I'm sorry.. but I think my place is here." she said to him. "Thank you for caring about me. I will never forget it. I'm sorry if I have caused you trouble." after saying her speech.. she clinged to Cyberbite.. desperate to not be separated again.

X looked from Ayumi to Cyberbite. He looked down, shook his head, and put away his staff. He looked around the barren world, and when he lifted his head up, he began to rub his eyes. He felt the metal still digging into it. X then sighed.

"Fine. I'm gonna have to admit it. I'm not the hero," X said. "Not anymore. Look, you two have to follow this path." A blue line of enegry then appeared leading to the HQ.
"Foolow this line, and you two will be safe. It leads to the last safe place anywhere. Do that and you should be fine. I'll be there later, I need to walk."

X then began to walk toward the HQ, but soon broke out into a run.
