Chapter 2: Forces of Darkness

[KISS Concert]
Peram: We can't, I don't have a guitar *points at a dude that's on fire*

A gnome runs up, bites Peram's ankles, hands him a guitar, and runs away.

Peram: That was random...

LGN: Okay, let's play what Bert said.

Peram: But I don't know that song.

Bert: Improvise.

[Cell]

[Crehavos]
[Hell ---> Midgar]

Crehavos was growing weary of waiting for the two. He had said one hour, it has been far longer. He stood up, incredibily irritated, and put on his traveling cloak. A servant noticed what he was doing and asked him, "My lord, where are you going?"

Crehavos stopped for a moment, staring off into nowhere. He then spoke, "I have felt a powerful energy for sometime. It is in another world, far away from this one. I am going to seek this entity, and discover what it is." He began walking out the door, and said to the servant, "Tell Evil Kin and Karocka I left, and will be back later." He then vanished in a blink of an eye.

The Hell Lord arrived in a very large city, filled with tall buildings made of steel and such. The place was bustling full of people, seeming as there wasn't a care in the world. This irked Crehavos to no end. What caught Crehavos' eye though was the immense towering building in the center of the city. It was the biggest building he had ever seen, and it had these large energy pillars surrounding it, emitting beams of green light.

Crehavos walked up to a shop owner, and asked her, "Where is this place?"

The woman looked at Crehavos oddly, but said, "Uh... this is Midgar."

"And what is that building?" Crehavos asked, pointing at the tower that caught his eye.

"Oh, that is the Shinra Power Company. They supply us with electricity using energy from the Lifestream."

"Lifestream?" Crehavos said questioningly.

"Yes, the Lifestream is what gives this planet energy and protection. It gives us life, basically. It's said that when people die, they join the Lifestream and give life back to the planet." The woman explained.

"That's impossible. There is suppose to be an afterlife, Heaven and Hell... Not this Lifestream..." Crehavos said more to himself than the woman. The woman just sort of stared at him curiously, very confused by this man.

Crehavos turned away, walking towards the Shinra Building, leaving the woman alone and confused. Crehavos took off his traveling cloak, and was wearing his black and red suit. After awhile, he arrived at Shinra and walked in, going up to the receptionist.

"Welcome to the Shinra Electric Company. How may I help you?"

"I need records of one of your ex-SOILDER operatives." Crehavos said seriously.

The receptionist kind of looked baffled by this, and said, "I'm sorry, sir, but we don't just hand out files to random people who walk in here."

"I'm sorry, you probably didn't understand me." Crehavos stared directly into her eyes, saying very clearly, almost demanding, "Give me the files to ex-SOILDER first class, Sephiroth."

At hearing the name "Sephiroth", people immediatly froze and stared at Crehavos. The receptionist had a very stern look on her face, and reached for her phone. She dialed a quick number and said, "Mr. President? We have someone here who needs to speak with you immediatly." She hung the phone up and said, "President Shinra would like a word with you, sir. Please follow me."

The receptionist got up from her desk and walked over to an elevator, and Crehavos followed inside. She hit the top button in the elevator, and the doors quickly shut, the elevator quickly shooting towards the sky. In a matter of minutes, they reached the top floor of the massive building and walked to an office's doors.

"Step this way, please." She said, and Crehavos walked into the office. It was a massive room with high ceilings and luxurious furniture. There were large windows that let you see the city lights and the dark night sky. And at the end of the room was a desk with a man behind it. The man beckoned for Crehavos to sit, and the receptionist left.

Once Crehavos took a seat in front of the man, he held out his hand and said, "President Shirna, nice to meet you."

"Crehavos Daemn." Crehavos said, briefly shaking the man's hand.

"So, what can I do for you today, Mr. Daemn?" The President said.

The Hell Lord looked directly into the President's eyes, giving the President a chilling, evil vibe from this man. Crehavos spoke, "I am in need of files on a certain ex-SOILDER operative of yours."

"And who might that be?" The President said, still having a smile on his face.

Crehavos smirked, and said very clearly, "Sephiroth."

The President's smile faded like smoke. He looked at Crehavos very seriously and said, "Now Mr. Daemn, those files are very Top Secret. Nobody is allowed to look at them other than myself. Why should I give them to you? Why do you even need them?"

"Why I need them is none of your business." Crehavos' darkness appeared on his face in an instant. He then said, "Why you should give them to me is... because I am the Ruler of Hell."

There was an eerie silence, but then the President burst into laughter. "Oh, you almost had me there for a second. You obviously have a sense of humour." The President stopped laughing and went back to a serious tone, "But really, why should I even give them to you?"

Crehavos looked angry. This fool didn't believe him. "I wasn't joking. I truly am the Lord of Hell. If you need proof, then here it is..." Crehavos opened up a portal behind himself and showed the President what lurked inside.

The Shinra President looked horrified, and looked away from the portal and back at Crehavos. "You aren't kidding... you really are....... Satan........"

Crehavos smiled, and said, "Now that you understand your position, I suggest you hand over those files, Mr. President, or suffer my wrath."

The Shinra President immediatly opened a draw in his desk and took out a file that had a "TOP SECRET" stamped onto it. "Here..." he said. "Here's the file..... you'll find everything there."

"Perfect..." Crehavos said. He looked curiously at the folder and said, "Sephiroth is dead, no?"

He looked over at the President, and he nodded. Crehavos chuckled and said, "No matter, he won't be much longer." He stood up from his chair and said, "Thank you, Mr. President. Oh, and have a pleasant evening." Crehavos walked out of the office, leaving the man behind the desk alone yet again.

[Bert]

[KISS concert]

The group began to play the song, but just before they could finish the first line, someone barged into the concert.

? ? ?: Bert! I have found you at last!

Bert: What!?

? ? ?: Prepare to die!

Bert knew who it was. It was his dark side which escaped after Bert was blown off Stark Mountain back in RP3. The evil Bert stepped on the flaming guitar which Peram had thrown, and went up in flames.

LGN: That was interesting.

[peram]

Random Crowd Schmo: WHY'D YOU STOP PLAYING? I'M GONNA KICK YOUR A-
He steps on Bert's burning dark side and catches fire.

Peram: Another one?

Bert: Ya know Peram, this seems just like something we'd joke about on AIM.

LGN: Okay guys, we gotta keep playing. And this time no interruptions.

On the edge of Midgar, Crehavos sat reading Sephiroth's files, learning more and more about this fascinating man:

Name: Sephiroth


SOILDER CLASS: 1st

Date of Birth: Unknown, approximately 30 during years with SOILDER.

Date of Death: Unknown

Sephiroth was born to Professor Hojo of Shinra and Lucrecia Crescent. Sephiroth was conceived for an experiment involving the Jenova Project. Jenova was declared as an Ancient excavated from a 2000-year-old rock layer. Lucrecia was injected with Jenova cells so that the results of this may be seen in Sephiroth. Sephiroth was raised by Shinra to become a supersoilder, the very first SOILDER. Sephiroth proved to be incredibly strong and effective member of SOILDER, and gained worldwide fame for being such a highly accomplished SOILDER operative.

In SOILDER, he become friends with Angeal Hewley and Genesis Rhapsodos, and were also rivals. Once both Angeal and Genesis left Shinra, Sephiroth became uneasy about his missions, usually pushing some onto SOILDER 1st class, Zack Fair. Later on, when Zack and Sephiroth were ordered to inspect the Mako Reactor outside of Nibelheim, Genesis arrived and told Sephiroth of his origins, which makes Sephiroth fly into a deep rage. Sephiroth burnt down Nibelheim, and killed many. After an incident with Zack Fair and Cloud Strife, Sephiroth was presumed dead. 5 years later though, Sephiroth returned.

Sephiroth returned a released his wrath upon the land. Many were killed, everything destroyed. One notable person he killed was Aerith Gainsborough. A small group of heroes rose to stop Sephiroth, the group was lead by Cloud Strife. Sephiroth's goal was to obtain the Black Materia to summon Meteor to conquer the planet and become a God. After a series of horrid events, and almost succeeding in his mission, Sephiroth was eventually subdued and killed.

The files continued on and on, the knowledge of Sephiroth filling Crehavos' head. The Hell King then came to one conclusion: He'd have to bring Sephiroth back from the Lifestream.

Crehavos held his hand high into the air, and closed his eyes slowly... The dark sky began emitting some kind of green light, and it started swirling around Crehavos like silky ribbons from above. A very quiet voice spoke to Crehavos' mind, "Whom do you wish to take back from the Lifestream, O' Lord of the Underworld?"

Crehavos spoke back through telepathy, not moving or even opening his eyes. "I wish to bring back the one known as Sephiroth. I command you to release him to me!"

A large amount of the Lifestream shot down from the sky, flowing into the ground in front of the Hell King. The beautiful aurora was swirling and expanding ever so, and in a flash, all of it was gone. Rain began to descend the darkened city, and the cold outskirts as well. Crehavos opened his eyes to see a dark figure standing before him, staring at the ground beneath them.

Crehavos grinned darkly at this epic display, and said very quietly, softly, "I welcome you back... Sephiroth."

The man before him lifted his head slowly, and turned to look at his reviver with his bright green eyes filled with Mako energy, his silver hair covering part of his face. Saying nothing, the two stared directly into one another's eyes... quietly... but surely...

[IOwnedYou]

IOY was getting annoyed at the pest. "Alright you little brat. If I have to kill you... Then so be it!" A powerful energy emmitted from IOY. A casing on ice surrounded him in less then 2 seconds. Misami couldn't see him. All of the sudden, lashes of fire burnt through the ice and hit all 20 of the clones. He was getting dead serious. He burst out of his shell and looked around. Grrr... D@mn brat... This little child is getting annoying He focused hard and then opened his eyes quickly. He sent thunder down to his right. Ice crystals started to float around him in a circle. They all pointed around then shot through the battle field. He shot flames along with the spikes. "If you want to die that badly then I will be happy to help...", he moved his eyes to the right. Then to the left. "I am finished with your childish games...", he made a huge wave of ice energy, electric energy and fire energy blast out through the entire area.

[Cell]

[Crehavos, Sephiroth]
[Midgar Outskirts]

The two silver haired villains continued to stare at each other for a few more moments, before Sephiroth broke the silence.

"What do you want of me?" He asked the Hell King.

"I have brought you back as a proposition. Would you care to hear it?" Crehavos said.

"I don't bargain with people." Sephiroth said calmly.

"You wouldn't even bargain for the revenge on the world you have sought for years?" Crehavos said, a very stern look on his face.

Sephiroth looked away from Crehavos, and stared at the ground, thinking. The rain beat down harder, and Crehavos geustured to nice covered area in a park close by. The two walked over to it, and sat down. Sephiroth stared out at the falling rain, and said, "Who are you anyway?"

"My name is Crehavos, I am the ruler of Hell." Crehavos said. This sparked Sephiroth's interest.

"Ruler of Hell...... what would you want with me?" Sephiroth asked.

Crehavos stood up and began pacing. "I am in need of Commanders of my Empire, and I gather the strong most suited for the position." He stopped and looked out in the distance. "I sensed your power long ago, and since I recently rose to my family's throne, my wish is to thwart the entire Universe. That's where you come in."

He turned towards Sephiroth, and said, "I was reminded of your power, and I saw it fit to see if I could offer you a commanding position in my Universal rule. You would have the utmost authority, and..... you may unleash your full revenge for Jenova."

Sephiroth sat there for a minute, his eyes closed. He said quietly to himself, "Mother..."

Crehavos actually felt sympathetic for this man. "I too know your pain." Sephiroth looked up at this. "My parents were taken away from this world. Where they went, I do not know. Ever since I was a child, I vowed to take revenge on the world for taking them away from me. They should have ruled Hell... not my father's worthless brother..." Crehavos sat down, looking slightly upset.

Sephiroth sat there quietly, again watching the rain fall. He looked at Crehavos and said, "Very well, I accept your offer."

Crehavos looked up at his almost identicle twin and said, "Thank you." He held his hand over Sephiroth's, and a red seal appeared; branding Sephiroth as part of Crehavos' elite forces.

"This seal grants you additional power, along with a symbol to mark you as one of my allies. Sephiroth... you will not regret this. Jenova... my parents.... will be avenged."

Sephiroth said nothing, but stared at the marking on his hand. Crehavos got up, and beckoned for Sephiroth to follow. The Hell King opened a portal to Hell, and both walked through, arriving in the castle throne room.

[The King Of Darkness]

Zero: ( Are those clowns watching me? Good.. this is the perfect oppertunity to show off my moves!)

He glared at Nightmare and Warped. He threw a hard punch to the gut of Nightmare. He flew in the air warping around Nightmare pummeling the stuffing out of him. He smacked nightmare away warped and sent him right back. He vollyed back and forth Nightmare. Nightmare crashed into the ground. Nightmare shot multiple dark energy balls at Zero which had no effect. He delivered a huge dark energy ball shaking the entire area. Zero was unharmed. Nightmare quickly encased Zero in darkness and griped his hand squeezing Zero to death until he would be crushed.

Nightmare: DARK BURRI....

Zero: AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Zero powered up and escaped the dark cacoon he was trapped within. Bits of darkness flew everywhere. Zero gave a sly smerk towards Snicket and the others.

Zero: Admit it you fool... Your NO MATCH FOR ME!

Nightmare: NEVER!!! ILL DESTROY YOU!!!

He charged in and threw punches but Zero was too fast. Zero counter with With huge punches from all over Nightmare. He finished with a beam of energyright through Nightmare chest as he fell to the ground. Zero was sure he got him until his body began to crack apart like a shell revealing nothing within. His body started breaking apart and became darkness until it totally disapeared. From behing Zero Nightmare fired a huge energy ball at Zero. Zero caught the ball of dark energy and spun it around on one finger. He grabs the ball and threw it back at Nightmare Blowing him to bits.

Zero: HA HA HA. Finally its over. So much for the big scary nightmare.

Suddenly the pieces reformed together and Nightmares body took shape until Nightmare was whole again. Nightmare was P*ssed!

[Big Boss]

EKin: well karocka, I guess we have to get back to crehavos. Im shure he is wondering what is taking so long.

Karocka: ya.

EKin: he needs to learn to be patient sometimes.

Karocka: Meh.

[The King Of Darkness]

Zero had enough and was ready to finish it.

Zero: MESS WITH MY FAMILY HUH?! NOW YOU DIE!!! KAAAAAAAA MEEEE HHHHHAAAAAA MEEEEEEEEEEEE HHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

He fired a massive beam towards Nightmare. He was surely beat.

Nightmare: OH SH*T!!!

At the last second nightmare warped far away and Zero Sensed it. Zero fell to his knee beating himself over allowing the person behind his familys death to get away. He fell to the ground in sorrow and beat the ground angerly.

Meanwhile Nightmare was furious of being so easily beaten.

Nightmare: D*MN IT!! THIS CANT BE!!! I CANT BE SO EASILY BEATEN I AM NIGHTMARE!!! I NEED MORE POWER!!!!

[Big Boss]

Both of the warriors walked around the huge castle decorated with statues and artifacts of the Daemn Family. A gaurd approached the two.

Gaurd: you two, Crehavos wants a word with you two.

Karocka: relax we were going there now.

EKin: well i wonder whats so important that he needs us?

gaurd: he has a new warrior on our side, and he is extreamly powerfull.

Karocka: oh yea?...well lets meet him.

a few minutes later the doors to the throne room open and there sitting was crehavos and next to him, a warrior nknown to both of the two..

crehavos: there you are!, have you settled your differences?

EKin: yea

[Cell]

[Crehavos, Sephiroth, Evil Kin, Karocka]
[Fallen Angel Castle]

Crehavos stood up when Evil Kin and Karocka walked in, standing equally tall next to Sephiroth.

"You're late." Crehavos said sternly.

"Yeah, we got a little caught up in talking." Evil Kin said.

"No matter, I had to leave anyway." Crehavos said. He guestured towards the tall man in black with silver hair and said, "This is my newest commander, Sephiroth."

"Sephiroth, huh?" Karocka said questioningly.

"Your master had gone out of his way to find and revive me." Sephiroth said calmly.

"Where'd you go?" Evil Kin asked Crehavos.

The Hell King responded with, "A world far away from this one."

"Yeah, that's very specific..." Evil Kin said, rolling his eyes.

"Alright, enough of chatter. I have something for you, Silver Serphant." Crehavos closed his eyes, a he began glowing with a red and black misty aura. Lightning sparked around him, and there was a glowing light in front of him. It got brighter and brighter, like a star about to go supernova. And then, all of that stopped, leaving the only a long sickle hanging in midair in front of the Hell King.

"This," Crehavos began, "is the Reaper's Scythe. It has been passed down for generations to every Reaper in my family. You, Silver Serphant, are my newest Reaper."

Evil Kin's eyes widened in shock, his mouth was hanging open ever so slightly. He just stared at it for what seemed like hours. His eyes filled with the lust for it's power, burning as though they were flames. He slowly walked towards it, hand outstretched. He very carefully wrapped his hand around the scythe, and there was a very large, but unknowledgable surge of energy that pulsated through Evil Kin for a moment. He held up the scythe, and examined it, carressing it.

"Now," Crehavos said, "I have a mission for you. All of you really." The three warriors looked at their master. "Evil Kin, there is a dieing soul named Nightmare. I want you to bring him to me, reap your first victim."

"Yes, my lord." Evil Kin said, disappearing from sight.

"Karocka." Crehavos said, turning towards him. "I want you to fetch Steele, and bring him here to me."

Karocka looked confused, but said, "Uh... sure thing boss." And he ran off.

"Sephiroth..." Crehavos said very calmly, almost eeriely. "I want you to defeat and bring the one known as Kanju down here to me. The marking on your hand let's you go to and from Hell freely, so you'll have no trouble getting out."

"One question..." Sephiroth said, his eyes closed.

"Oh yes, I forgot to explain this world to you. This... is the world of the Super Smash Brothers. They are a group of people gathered from their different world's that fight each other for competition, but also fight together as friends." Crehavos explained. "The Smash Bros. world is only a part of this planet though. The rest is filled with mortal humans..."

"Very interesting..." Sephiroth said to himself. "I'll be back shortly." Sephiroth said. Something strange happened though that Crehavos did not expect. Sephiroth suddenly had one black angel wing on his right shoulder. The wing wrapped around Sephiroth, and he disappeared, leaving only a few black feathers floating in the air, and the Hell King very intrigued.

[Jukan]

Misami

Nothing that Iownedyou did would do anything. All the clones disappeared, and the area started getting brioghter and brighter until IOY could no longer see ”Whats wrong? Can’t you beat up a little girl?” Misami’s voice echos. The brightness fades, and infront of him is a room full of what looks like mirrors. All reflecting images of himself. ”Perhaps you will find battleing yourself easier?” She echos again. The illusion woukld go on until either Smashbro made a move, or IOY found a way to break the illusion

Outside the illusion, Misami walks out to Smashbro. ”This should hold him for a while, he can’t hurt me, but I can’t hurt him. What you do now is up to you!!” She says in a serous tone, all the while the illusion continues.

Kanju

Kanju finds himself wandering in an unknown area. It seemed like some sort of desert setting, extremely dry and dark though. He pulls out his sword after he feels some vibrations being emitted from it. ”What the hell do you want now? Are you sure that idiot is in this direction?” He asks his sword. It gives a quick pulse and sheaths the blade. From behind, he feels a powerful presence coming his way. He doesn’t even turn around, just whispers ”We have company Osafune….”

[Cell]

[Sephiroth, Kanju]
[Desert like area]

Sephiroth arrived in what seemed to be a desert at night. He looked around, and saw nothing but an empty wasteland. He continued walking, searching for anybody in the area. And then he saw him, the one he was looking for off in the far distance. Sephiroth vanished in a mist like teleportation and arrived behind his target.

A arrived behind the man. He didn't turn around, but merely stopped in place. Sephiroth waited there for a moment to see if he'd do anything, but alas, he did not.

Sephiroth spoke calmly, "Are you Kanju?"

The man said nothing for a minute, but responded quite rudely, "So what if I am? Why the hell do you care?"

"I have been sent to test you..." Sephiroth said quietly, unsheathing his sword. Pointing the Masamune at Kanju, he said, "Show me your strength."

Kanju finally turned around, and quickly unsheathed his own sword. "Fine with me," He said. "Once I kill you, I'll go mafter that idiot again, and take what's rightfully mine."

Sephiroth merely stared, smiling ever so slightly. He slashed his extremely lengthy sword once through the air and said, "Hmph, come and try."

[Big Boss]

[Kin, Geo]

Kin: well, it seems we cant get out of this perdiciment.

Geo: looks like we are stuck floating around.

Kin: hey lets check out the castle...lets see who is behind all of this.
