Chapter 2: Forces of Darkness

LGN flies over Pallet Town quickly and quietly. The sun was now starting to raise and the current time was seven o' clock, plenty of time for him to gather up as many people as he could to bring back to the HQ. The town looked quite peaceful and unharmed by the chaos and terror raging not far away. LGN didn't want to disturb the townsfolk probably sleeping or getting ready for their day in their homes.

LGN flew over to Proffersor Oak's Lab, for that would be his first stop of many for the day. LGN gently set down his fighter in the front yard of Oak's Lab. LGN hops out and walks casually to the front door. The Pokemon around him were now starting to wake up, as he saw a pare of Bidoofs waking up each other inside a small cramped up log. He could hear Taross running around freely in the back yard of Oak's home. LGN knocked on the door and waited a second for a responce. He heard some stumbiling and bumbiling coming from behind the door and before LGN knew it a familar face opened the door with dazzed eyes.

Proffesor Oak: Well, well, well, if it isn't LGN. What brings you to my home *yawns* and so early to? *notices LGN's arm* By goodness graticious what happened to your arm my lad!

LGN: Just ignore the arm, I'll get to that later, and I'm sorry to have disturbed you Proffersor but I need your help.

Brock: What's all the hubab?

Oak: LGN here is telling us that he needs help, and what kind of help is this LGN?

LGN: Well Oak, it's getting pretty bad at the HQ. Enrollment rate right now is really low, some of the SSS leaders such as: Dobs, Kin, and Geo, have all disappeared or have been captured. I even saw one of my closest friends, Steele, snatched away by my worst enemy. The HQ has been beaten and battered down a lot resently and we're running out of options and ideas to stop this devilish being known as Crehavos. In short, I'm asking if I may be able to take some Pokemon and get some trainers to comeback to the HQ for protection. I would be most grateful.

Oak: Hmm, I'm sorry LGN but that simply can not do.

LGN: Huh? What do you mean sir?

Oak: I'm not going to allow you to take only a handful of Pokemon and Trainers back to the HQ. The whole city of Pallet Town is going to come!

LGN: I don't understand Proffesor. I don't need the whole town to help me.

Oak: Look behind you.

LGN turns around and spots a huge crowd of people, probably the entire population of Pallet Town to be exact. They were holding posters saying 'Thank You For Everything LGN!' and 'We'll Never Forget a Hero Like You LGN!'. The crowd now cheered and applauded for LGN, simply overwhelming him with their support. LGN was swarmed by an almost forgotten emotion for LGN, appreciation. LGN felt that for once that he was accepted and loved by a community of people as a whole, something that LGN hasn't experienced in a long time. LGN waved to the crowd and smiled under his helmet. After all he's been through and all that he had ever done wrong the villagers still accepted him for he was no matter how he looked. LGN turned back to Oak and thanked him.

LGN: I have no idea how those villagers came out of nowhere, but thank you for everything Proffersor, and you Brock.

Brock: Don't mention it. I'll go call up all the Pokemon Centers everywhere and tell them to round up as many trainers as they can: from Kanto and Johto, to Honen and Sinno.

Oak: And I'll collect as many Pokemon I can in this area to get them to come along, with the enitre city of Pallet Town right behind them coming along and protecting the HQ no matter what the cost.

LGN: Thank you, both of you. I am in your debt.

Oak: Now go LGN, it seems your going to need everyone to deal with this Crehavos character and saving your friends. Meet back up with us at the HQ and we'll talk about a plan.

LGN: Ok, thanks for everything you two. I'll never forget this moment! *turns to crowd* Thank you all! I don't even know what to say, but please know that I am overjoyed that the people here are willing to help our cause. Good day to you all!

LGN runs down from Oak's Lab and runs over to his fighter. Before he hops in he spots a confused character running over to him.

Souryaku: Hey!

LGN: Hey?

Souryaku: I heard what you were saying and I want to personally help you and your people. My name is Souryaku.

LGN: Name's LGN, and welcome aboard. Feel free to ask me some questions about us and everything else, now quick get in!

LGN and Sour jumped into LGN's fighter and took off to LGN's next destination: Daein.

{Rev, Zero, Lynx, E Gadd, R.O.B.}

Rev's and Zero's battle waged on for some time now, that is until a unknown robot encased me and my opponent into two separate barriers of what appeared like white flat like clouds of energy. Rev who had now been encircled within this barrier took a quick look around once inside he then looked like he was going to kill someone didn't matter who as long as something perished. He attempted to instantly vanish from this prison hoping to escape and be standing face to face with this unknown entity that had encased him within a barrier.

[Rorschach]

Sour: Hey LGN, So where are we going

LGN: To SSS HQ.

Sour: well we need to make a stop, I need a weapon.

LGN stops the fighter. Sour goes into the shop to remember he has no money. He is about to leave until he sees a beautiful strong staff sitting there.

Sour then thinks and grabs the staff while quickly running. The cashier sees Sees Sour but doesnt see his face thanks to his robe. The cashier pulls out a shotgun and gets it ready.

Sour turns around and charges the man. The cashier shoots but Sour dodges thanks to his agile and small body. He then uses *swift stick* to stun the cashier. After he grabs the shotgun, flips over the cashier and knocks him out.

Sour later walks to LGN's fighter but trips and falls. He gets up pretending nothing happened and they fly away.

LGN:WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT?

Sour: I got a weapon.

LGN: NO when u fell....u looked like a complete dork.

Sour: Oh sorry. Well lets get to HQ.

LGN: Ya maybe we can tell each other some stories. I'll tell you about my past and you tell me about...

Sour: No

LGN: Oh sorry

Sour looks at LGN..."This is a guy I can trust" he thinks. "Maybe I should give him credit after all he did show me the ropes.

Sour: look LGN I came from a place named the black alley.

10 MINUTES LATER

Sour:and thats how im here now.

LGN: Oh ok well I guess I'll tell you about my past later but right now I need to tell you whats going on here.

Sour: right after I take a nap...This fighter has comfy seats...."yawn" I'll talk to you in a little big LGN.

LGN thinks to himself: "theres more to this guy then the eye can see...heck i cant even see his face." Oh well i'll talk to him when he wakes up.

LGN drives thinking about his past while Sour sleeps as they take off.

[Geo, Kin, eKin, Dagalein, Steele, Karocka, Crehavos]

While Geo and Steele were communicating, Dagalein was sitting in the corner looking at his new seal, and also Kin and Evil Kin looked a each other.

Kin: you know, you were supposed to be dead.

EKin: i would be better off, I had no choice to work for crehavos but now Im better off.

Kin: I thought you were set on the right track also, But whatever you are now a enemy, and I will do all in my power to stop you. I garuntee it.

EKin: and I will do all in my power to stopyou from stopping me, but first thing is first.

EKin Takes out His sythe and Sword and points it to Dagalein.

EKin: lets make things clear, after this is all done with, Geo is mine to finnaly take down

[Naked Snake II]

[Geo, Kin, eKin, Dagalein, Crehavos]

DAGALEIN: NO WAY AM I LETTING YOU HAVE GEO SILVER SERPENT!!!! IF ANYTHING HE'S MINE!!!

eKIN: We'll just have to see about that?!!

DAGALEIN: Unless..you wish to fight over Geo?? I'd have no problem with that

CREHAVOS: NO ONE GETS GEO BUT ME!!!! eKIN return Geo and Kin's souls NOW!!!

eKin leaves the room

"Anyways," smashbro said, looking from Iownedyou, who had now lost his powers, to Misami, who just showed skillful use of hers. "You know more about your powers then you let on, don't you? I don't need to know everything about you, but thats good to know. Now, let's bring him downstairs, I have an idea."

They went down to the Unspeakable room, and put Iownedyou in the center.
"Alright, listen, Iownedyou. You are to stay in this room, until being brought out by a member of the SSS. If you attempt to get out, once you go through the door, you will be transported to the far reaches of some random, desolate world, far away from here, with little hope of getting back. I advise that you dont. If you want to talk to a member of the SSS, just say their name, they'll hear you."

smashbro then led Misami upstairs.
"I've been separate from everyone too long."

Dark Relm

MM was trapped still in this dark forest after chasing his friends. The portal had let him away from the area his comrads were located. This sent MM into chaos. He appeared in a place he renamed "Doomsday Forest" for there were creatures ripping eachother apart and going for MM too. He has been living in this Morbid climate for what has seemed like a year but it has only been three months; the three winter months.

MM:Day 90, No sign of my friends, a portal, or even something that might be a rescue team...Looks like today is going to be another one of those days...*sigh*

There was a flash and then a figure stood in front of him.

MM:What the--who the hell are you?

[Kitt eh]

Lynx sighed tapping the barrier. Usually he would be pissed off about being imprisoned, but right now he just had a bored expression on his face. Now Rev and Zero, that was a different story. Lynx could see clear that Rev was angry, and knowing Zero he probably was to. Lynx felt like he was the only one listening to the one guy talk...

Akki sighed Well, it might take awhile for these two to calm the heck down... Akii said. Yes... Lynx responed, sound irritated.

smashbro went down to the lobby of the HQ, and called over the PA system. He didn't check if Misami followed, but he assumed she did.
"Attention Everyone at the HQ. We need to tighten defences around here, and get ready for a war. I'm afraid we may have one on our hands, as I have recently checked up on Snicket, and his party, and the fact that some members have not returned from their mission yet. Anyone and Everyone please make your way down to floor 1, the lobby, as soon as possible.


OOC: EVERYONE IN THE HQ PLEASE COME DOWN TO THE LOBBY BY MONDAY NEXT WEEK, I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT AND STUFF, AND I WANT TO KNOW WHO IS HERE.

:We shall talk later....you need to be back at the SSS HQ, do you not?

MM:How do you know about--

:I need to know things like this...No make haste!

A portal opened to a pasture.

MM:Where---

:Go!

MM was pushed by an unknown force through the portal. He appeared on a pasture full of lush green grass and behind him was the "Doomsday forest.

MM:Im out....IM OUT!!!

Meanwhile....

[Luca, Rai, Necro]
SSS HQ, meeting room

Luca was still drinking his cofee, relaxed and uncaring about those around him. Necro was using the small statue in the back for aiming practice. Rai was pacing around, mumbling to himself.

Rai:What if he doesn't come back?

Luca:For the thousanth time, he will come back...

Rai:ITS BEEN 90 DAYS!!!

Luca:Hes been gone for longer than that before.

Rai: WHAT IF HE DIED?!

Luca:I sense hes alive.

Rai:What if you sense wrong?!

Luca opened his eyes and leaned foward in his chair.

Luca:What was that?

Rai:I said what if your senses are wrong?

Luca:Let me make one thing clear...My senses are keener than anything else on this morbid planet!!

Rai:Morbid?

Luca:The last thing i need is a brat who cant even control his power telling me what i can and cant do!So shut up and trust me.

Luca leaned back and closed his eyes and returned to a calm, medative state. Rai walked over to Necro.

Rai:he called this planet morbid...thats not like the luca i know...

Necro:You pissed him off...what else do you expect?

Rai:He just didnt sound like luca...

Luca:hmph....now you dont trust me....just for the "morbid" and other cruel things i said....you need to learn a thing or two about Lucario.

Rai:sorry luca...its just im worried about...mm.....Im gonna go for a walk...

Rai left.

Necro:Ease up on the kid.

Luca:He needs to learn to control his temper.

Necro:like you did?

Luca:He pierced my medative state...He needs to learn to enter a calming state.

Necro:well, teach him....and dont flip out on such a stupid deal....

Luca:When he gets back i will....

Meanwhile.....

SSS HQ, Hallway, 1F

Rai:Stupid Luca....He probably doesnt want to tell me that he is dead so that i dont freak out....

Haylee:Hey Rai!Whats going on?

Rai:Im going after MM.

Haylee:I was going to ask Luca if i can go look for him, too.

Rai:Dont bother....he will say no to you, just like to me....

Haylee:So your going on your own?

Rai:Yep...wanna come?

Haylee:um, sure!

The duo left the front door of the HQ.

Nightmare and Saint continued to jump around the trees until something cut the tree they jumped onto. Both of them fell down to the ground. Nightmare got a good look at the stranger. It was a small puppet known as geno.

Geno: Im not such a stupid doll now am I?

Nightmare: Grrr. Who is this ignorant fool? HEY GET OUT OF HERE NOW BEFORE I DESTROY YOU!!!

Geno: Make me!

Nightmare: Fine so be it.... Saint i'll handle this. You just sit back and watch!

[Dark Pyramid]

From three different directions, the Niluck Stone emissaries returned to the place of convergence, overcoming the distance more swiftly now that they knew what to expect. When they reached the front entryway, Snicket checked to make sure they were all there: him, Yoshi, Game & Watch, Veronica, Snake, Amaya, Doom, Ike, Zel, Brooke, Ian. He nodded, satisfied. They were all present and intact, although Ike appeared ragged from being injured by the Metal Knuckle.

They discovered that the cause of the rumbling from hitting the switches had been this: a new staircase had appeared, leading higher into the pyramid. After recongregating and showing them the Boss Key, Snicket led them up the stairs.

But they were faced with no further challenges for the duration of their ascent. The stairs zig-zagged, winding back and forth around and across the interior of the pyramid, being longer than any of them had thought possible. However, as they rose, an increasing sense of apprehension for the confrontation to come gripped all their minds. Link may have done this sort of thing numerous times before, but all of them were new to the feeling of dread associated with knowingly approaching a formidable enemy with the intent of taking something from their possession. The torches were the only source of light (pyramids did not have windows), so the rising corridors they climbed were very dark, with the same musty ancient air and crumbled stone walls as before. It seemed to go on forever, and Snicket almost considered telling them to turn around and go back for fear it was a neverending staircase as in Super Mario 64. But at last, they reached the final staircase chamber, which widened the steps into the size of the room, but still kept going up. More statues depicting Agahnim's foreboding eye symbol lined the final broad staircase, with a contrastingly neat red carpet snaking through the middle, leading to the giant armored door at the top. In the center of the door was a huge, golden lock with a keyhole borne through it. The torches caused shadows to flicker restlessly off every surface, as if they were warning intruders to stay away.

Bob and his companions of the SSS slowly ascended these final stairs, and upon reaching the top, found one last surprise awaiting them. Three sizeable wooden treasure chests with steel lining and locks sat in a row facing them to their right, while on the left were simple water pots, which Veronica confirmed were filled with nothing but H₂0.

Bob saw the others of the party eying the chests with interests, and decided to resolve that immediately. "I suggest one person from each split group deserves to take the contents of one of the chests. Yoshi, Game & Watch? If you would like?"

Yoshi shook his head. "You're human, Bob. Humans need more equipment to last than us Yoshis."

Game & Watch shook his head jerkily as well. "I a-rea-dy have plen-ty of stuff my-self," he explained.

"Alright, then," Snicket consented. He approached the center chest, while Amaya and Ian went up to the ones to the left and right. As one, they flipped the lids off, and reached in and pulled out the contents.

Snicket pulled out a round, apple-sized object of rusty black material, which was hinged on the back. He opened up the top of the object to find what looked to be a compass, the white and red needles opposite from each other, bobbing from side to side in the magnetic liquid. However, instead of pointing north, the white needle veered directly in the direction of the big door. This, clearly, was no ordinary compass. Looking on the bottom, he saw the engraved letters "J. S." as well as in eloquent characters, "Compass of Desire."

Both other treasure-finders groaned in disgusted disappointment, however. Ian held up a bottle of syrup while Amaya turned over a fluffy white pillow, looking for something special about it.

Both of them indicated to Snicket that they had no desire to keep these seemingly useless objects, so Bob agreed to take them himself. Then, treasure aside, they turned back to the big door.

"Yoshi, if you would do the honors," Snicket offered. Yoshi gave him a withering look, then took the key from his gloved hand and shoved the metal object into the ancient keyhold. He twisted it.

The door creaked open by its own accord.

[SSS HQ: E. Gadd, R.O.B., Lynx, Zero, Rev]

Rev seemed to transport out of the barrier, in front of the professor. At the same time, Zero agreed reluctantly and bitterly to be civil, and Smashbro made his intercom announcement, calling everyone present to the lobby.

Gadd thought about this. "Well, it seems you three are left with a choice: you can go outside and finish your battle while leaving us in peace, you can return from whence you came and forget this confrontation ever happened, or...you can stay, join with the SSS, and swear loyalty to Smashbro and serve the cause of freedom of our universe. The choice is yours." The scientist adjusted his swirling glasses anxiously.

[Naked Snake II]

SAINT: Hmph....

NIGHTMARE: Ready Saint?

Saint ignored Nightmare's command and sat down on a log arms crossed looking rather bored.

NIGHTMARE: Uhh...What are you doing? Were about to fight!!!

SAINT: Do it yourself....Let's see what the O so mighty and scary Nightmare can really do.

NIGHTMARE: RRRRRR!!!!!! FINE!!!!!!! I WILL!!!!!!!! GET READY GENO!!!!

[Rev, Lynx, Zero]

Zero thought about what E Gadd said for a moment then spoke.

Zero: Serve SSS eh? If thats what it takes to keep this world out of turmoil then so be it!

Zero followed E Gadd to meet up with Smashbro.

Forever Forest
[Geno, Nightmare, Saint]

Nightmare charged at Geno. Geno Shot both of his arms at Nightmare but he dodged as he moved at super speed. Geno Recollected his arms and reattached them. NM fired some blasts but Geno dodged. Geno shot bullets out of his Arm and a few hit NM. NM charged up his energy and shot a blast again. As the blast approached Geno, he used Geno Whirl to cut the blast in half. The whirling disk kept going and chopped NM into two. NM reconnected his deattached body and warped towards Geno. NM unleashed a fury of attacks on Geno as Geno took every hit. NM grabbed Geno by the head and threw him towards a tree. NM delivered a flying kick into Geno's chest and through a tree. Geno had trouble getting up but slowly made his way to his feet. As Geno got to his feet, NM had already charged his energy and fired a huge blast at geno. The ball of energy went off like a gernade and caused a big explosion blowing away several trees. Geno made his way to one knee.

Geno: Your strong.......but i cant let you win!!!

Geno turned into a cannon and fired his Geno Flash on NM. It caused a massive explosion and the whole battlefield was covered in smoke. When the smoke clear NM was within a dark barrier protecting himself from genos attack. Geno Was stunned.

Geno: NO WAY! THATS IMPOSSIBLE!!!

Nightmare smiled evilly as he warped towards geno. Geno was defenseless as NM grabbed him by the head and delivered one final blast to geno causing a small explosion. When the smoke cleared Geno lied motionless and bloody. NM turned to Saint.

Nightmare: See Saint? I told you I could handle him. Now lets get going.

[SSS HQ: E. Gadd, R.O.B., Lynx, Zero, Rev]

Rev managed to calm himself before doing any unnecessary actions it's ironic he was constructed to fight and to protect but lost it all doing a war that caused amnesia Anyway. Giving his choices he took a moment to answer him. Having forgot his past he felt some sort of realization to it so he allowed his mysterious attitude to somehow answer this mans question he crossed his arms over his chest and walked over then stood against the wall with his left foot pressed against the wall standing away from Zero and the rest of the cast yet close enough to hear their voices
