Chapter 2: Forces of Darkness

[Kitt eh]

He's smooth isn't he... Akki said sarcastically.

Lynx sighed a bit at Zero's carelessness. He put Zero back to his orignial spot, also making sure none of his bones had broken over again. Nothing major had happened, but Zero wouldn't be getting up for awhile now. Lynx turned back to their vistitor, and continued his question from before.

"That's done. Now as before, can you please tell me who you are, and what the heck you want?" Lynx said irritated a bit, his icy blue coloured eyes now narrowed into a glare, and some of his white bangs hanging in his face.

As I saw him coming at me I just lifted my head up slowly with a almost evil smirk stained on my lips like I was going to kill him for even the thought of trying to provoke me in the first place my arms were crossed over my chest staring directly at my adversary, he was in no condition to fight anyone at this point. I mentally thought to myself, does this man want to kill me? or just defeat me? in for what purpose? I looked over to that cat like creature with dark green eyes that showed him that I was slightly troubled. Regardless I answered his question slightly agitated by the thought of feeling attacked. Rev took a moment to answer his question then after a few seconds he said slightly agitated, "My name is Rev. Who are you...?"

[Kitt eh]

"I'm Lynx Raiden, your somehow tainted... human." Lynx said, using some dark humor. "And you seem to already know, Zero here. Now what the heck are you doing here?" He still had a firm grip on his sword's hilt, and wasn't about to let it go. He still wasn't sure if he could even trust Rev yet.

"Human?" He looked off into the darkest corner and said "That is what I am not humanity is a joke and your dark humor does not amuse me at all.. And I know nothing about this Zero you speak of, Got it? All I remember, is that someone or something set me free yet again. Rev's tone is quite smooth in yet menacing at the same time, he leered back toward Lynx it was true that he indeed seemed tainted but just how much? " So don't assume I know him" His eyes turned to the unhealthy Zero, Rev, stepping inside the room instead of between the door for some reason his mind told him to heal the falling warrior and Rev walked over to try and heal him. Was this a random act of kindness from someone such as me? regardless of my feelings I still went over to try and help him at least but I could not shake the feeling of being attacked so this in mind as I was walking toward the falling warrior I kept my eyes on Lynx like a hawk.

[Cell]

[Crehavos, Sephiroth, Kanju, Steele, Karocka, King K. Rool, Nightmare, Saint, Bowser, Ganondorf]
[Fallen Angel Castle: Throne Room]

Just as Sephiroth had brought in the warrior Kanju, Steele and Karocka appeared through their dark portal; throwing a very angered King K. Rool out of it before them. Both of the new characters seemed very confused, but only King K. Rool's lifeforce had an angry tone about it.

"My... it seems I have guests. Welcome everyone." Crehavos said as he rose from his throne, opening his arms wide as a welcoming gesture.

"Hey, what's the big idea kidnapping me like this, huh?" King K. Rool exclaimed, looking ready to hit someone.

"Please, calm yourself. There is a reason why I even went to the trouble of bringing you in." Crehavos retorted snidly.

The crocodile opened his mouth wide to scream at the Hell Lord, but quickly falttered and silenced. Just then, another vortex opened; Nightmare entering through it.

Crehavos raised his brow slightly and said, "I see we have another guest. Nightmare, did you manage to stall Bob Snicket and his group for a satisfactory period of time?"

"Yes, sire." Nightmare said with a bow.

"Well, you've proven yourself to be quite competent then." Crehavos spoke while turning his attention back to the others. "Now, Kanju and King K. Rool. You have been summoned by request for something I have to offer you."

He held out his hand and gazed at the two new subjects of the empire before him. In his hand, a moderate size of black and red fire burst into life, burning brightly and illuminating the dark room with an almost frightening glow. "Join me... and I will grant you power beyond your wildest dreams..."

The warrior and the crocodile king gawked at him in a mixture of awe and shock. Both internally confused, trying to decide upon the choice as the other commanders had done. King K. Rool spoke first, "Alright, what do I got to lose?" The crocodile was then engulfed in an aura similar to the flame held in Crehavos' hand, as the new power surged through the crocodile, and the "Seal of the Hell King" appeared on his hand.

Kanju stood hushed, pondering on the matter that was now bestowed upon him.

"Well... do you accept my offer, Kanju?" said the voice of Crehavos ringing inside the warrior's head.

Kanju then looked towards Crehavos himself, the decision eating at him from the inside. Finally, he slowly nodded, and the power began to fill him as it did King K. Rool.

Once the gift of power completed filling the two, King K. Rool bowed as low as his enourmous belly would let him and said, "Thanks... Master," while Kanju did nothing but stare at his hand looking sort of mezmerized by it.

Crehavos' eyes swept over his commanders, but suddenly, the large throne room door was thrown open with the piercing sound of squeaking hinges hurting some ears. Saint, one of Crehavos' first commanders, had finally returned from her immense training session. She looked to be much stronger than when Crehavos last saw her; both her energy and her appearance suggested it.

"How long has it been since you left to train against the warlords, my dear? Two months... three?" Crehavos chuckled. "I am impressed."

Saint merely smirked, speaking with a graceful tone, "Why thank you, my liege. That fool Zant, however, was not as fortunate as I."

"Clearly... I never intended for him to even become a commander, I just wanted him dispossed of." The Hell King said darkly. Now again focusing on the group as a whole, he began with, "Alright, I have instructions for all of y-"

Interrupted by the sound and sight of two other portals opening, out came the unexpected arrival of Bowser and Ganondorf.

Crehavos looked rather surprised to see this many people. "Hmm... now that you two are here, I suppose I must alter my plans slightly... No matter." Crehavos said with a sigh, having an expression of contemplating something in his mind.

With a swift uprising hand movement, the Hell King's maneuver implyed that he was attempting to pull something out of the ground. And that he did. The ground beneath them all began rattling rather viciously. Harder and harder it shook until parts of surface around the edges of the room shot up into the high ceiling above.

They began molding into goddy looking chairs, each raised at different heights.

Crehavos' own throne had risen to the utmost height of the many chairs circling the massive room. Crehavos' sneer suggested he was pleased with his own work. "I felt that each one of my commanders deserved their own individual chairs of the highest honor. Being that this is the location of where we shall host our meetings, I thought that you all would like to be comfortable instead of standing before me. 13 chairs for all of my commanders, and the throne for myself."

Crehavos motioned to the chairs. "Each chair has a name engraved on the top, back of the seat. Now if you please... find the chair that has your name and be seated. We have missions to discuss."

All of the evil commanders went and found their chair, and each found their own unique way of getting up to it. Crehavos lastly teleported to his, and then all was still. He cleared his throat and began to speak. "For those of you who do not know, our enemy lies with the organization called the SSS. As of now, we are trying to stop them from foiling my plans by either stalling them, or destroying them. My main priorty right now is being taken care of soon by Evil Kin and the Black Knight. My other concern though lies with Bob Snicket and his group. They are in the Dark World as we speak, searching for the Niluck Stone that has guarded the SSS headquarters since it was founded."

"For that, I will be assigning two people on a mission..." Crehavos eyed his commanders carefully, and picked out the ones he saw to best fit for the job. "Ganondorf and Sephiroth, you two will take the mission together. Your directions are simple: prevent the group from obtaining the Niluck Stone, and kill if necessary. Nightmare did decently stalling them, but I need to prevent them from even getting the stone."

The One Winged Angel and the King of Evil met eyes for the first time, but Sephiroth looked away from his lack of interest in his partner. However Ganondorf felt a slight amount of an unknown hatred towards the silver haired warrior, but he dismissed it and disappeared from the room along with his partner for their objective.

Crehavos continued, "Steele and Karocka, you know your mission already: Find the demon called Dagalein, and bring him to me."

"Yes my lord." Steele said. Karocka simple shrugged and said, "Whatever". Then both were gone.

"Nightmare and Saint, I want you to dispose of the scum that linger about the SSS HQ. Find them, and destroy all of them. Do not hesistate, do not fear." With that, those two left.

The Hell King then turned to the reptiles of his commanding group, "You.. Bowser and King K. Rool. I merely want you to go downstairs and guard Geo and Kin's bodies. Let no one take them, or harm them in anyway. Now go." The two obese Kings opened up portals, and disappeared.

All had left, but the sole warrior of Kanju who stared indefinatly at Crehavos. The Hell Lord frowned, and said quietly, "Hmm... what to do with you... Oh, there's only this one last job I have for you. There is an old war veteran downstairs in one of the bedrooms called "Big Boss". He's another one of my commanders. Find his room, and you will accompany him on his mission against Smashbro. He will have just gotten his mission details from a letter I sent him a few moments before you all arrived. Tell him Crehavos sent you."

Kanju, however, did not move. With a very dark and defiant look in his eyes, he asked very clearly, "Why are you doing all of this?"

Crehavos locked eyes with the warrior; the devil's black eyes with their white inner color always seemed to fill people with dread and despair. Kanju was no exception, the effects taking toll over the youth. He then looked rather fearful for having said a thing, and sunk low in his seat. Crehavos' face contorted into a dark grin and he calmly said, "My plans are far beyond your comprehension, my child."

Kanju, still locked in eye contact with the cold-blooded villain, disappeared as fast as he could to go off on his mission. Truly knowing now to never again question... his powers.

[Kitt eh]

Lynx dashed in front of Rev, pointing his sword directly at him. "I can't help being human, but I sure can stop you from getting any where near him!" Lynx growled. He wasn't really looking for a fight, but he promised himself to protect Zero. And he still couldn't trust Rev, he still had a edgy feeling about him.

My eyes quickly followed his motion, as Lynx dashed in front of me pointing his blade directly at my throat his strong feelings toward protecting his falling companion were quite clear to me now, I decided to strongly keep my thoughts about helping his falling friend between teeth and tongue. Revs eyes narrowed and with his left hand he lifted one finger, and that finger was his pointing finger he touched the sharp end of Lynxes blade and pushed it aside gently out of his way so as to not get stabbed by it, A almost instant acceleration flowed thu out my body, slightly overwhelming Sense of wind was felt blowing Thu out the perimeter of this room and before Lynxes mind could process what had really happened, Revs right fist brutally impacted with his opponents upper belly twisting my wrist/fist so that it made him spiral out of control which also caused more damage to that part of the body. My impaction had enough physical force to send my opponent rocketing against the cold steeled wall in the background, however, right before his foe went spiraling/flying back he grasped a firm grip on his foes shirt following up firmly yanking his opponent closer to me, for a left handed uppercut directly at his opponents chin that could possibly injure his opponent severely if not avoided and will send him upwards thu the ceiling. He also found Lynxes compassion toward protecting his friend to be a little trivial.

He entered the hallway with an eerie new feeling of fear and power surging all over her. She even got a new outfit and of course the Daemn Family mark on her palm. She had a new sence of confidence as he walked around the hallway. She closed her eyes and began a connection telepathectly to The Hell Lord.

SAINT: .....What is your order lord Crehavos?

Steele and Karocka emerged from the portal on the field's side of the bridge. It was nearly dusk and the workers on the bridge were about to call it a day. Steele and Karocka scaned the area for Dagalein.

"Crehavos said he would be here, right?" Karocka questioned.

"Yeah, he did........ that's odd.... Lets go up there to bet a better view" Steele pointed to the top of the bridge closest to them. They jumped up there and scouted around.

"There, who's that? He dosn't look much like a citizen of Hyrule" Karocka noticed. He jestured towards a man walking towards Castle Town.

"Yeah, lets check him out" Steele said. They jumped down and started walking towards him.

Suddently they heard a noise in the distance, one that was too familar and annoying to ignore: "HEEEEEEEEEEEYYY!!!" The three of them looked to see that the mail man was running across the field towards Dagalein. Dagalein looked at the man with confusion. The mail man reached him and said in his annoying voice "Ahhh, Theodore I have a letter for you!!"

"Theodore," Dagalein said, confused, "I'm not Theodore, my name is Dagalein"

"Aaaaaaahhhh... My mistake...." said the mail man, and ran off.

"Yeah," Whispered Steele "That's the one, for sure" Dagalein continued to walk off. "Umm excuse me, sir!" Steele shouted. Dagalein turned his head. "We were wondering if we could have a word with you!"

"Who wants to know?" Dagalein replied

Steele and Karocka looked at each other. "Lord Crehavos" Karocka replied. "He wishes to speak to you" Dagalein pointed towards Steele. "No, he's..... elsewhere at the moment... hell to be specific"

"Why would I want to meet with someone in hell? And who is this guy anyway?" Dagalein shouted.

"Trust me Dagalein," Steele said "All we need is a few moments of your time...."

Nightmare apporched Saint.

Nightmare: Come on Saint, WE'RE OUT OF HERE!! We DO have a HQ to destroy... Or should i just take down the whole HQ by myself and get ALL the credit?!

Nightmare and Saint warped out of Hell.

[Naked Snake II]

DAGALEIN: Sorry..but I am not going...now if you excuse me...I'm about to burn down this town.

Dagalein began to turn around and walk away. Insulted, Karocka grabbed Dagalein's forearm.

KAROCKA: Now wait a..OOOOUUUUUCCCCHHHH!!!!!

Karocka withdrew his hand quickly from Dagalein's forearm and shook it around.

STEELE: What's wrong?

KAROCKA: My..hand is burning...OUCH!!!

KArocka revealed his burned and disfigured hand.

STEELE: Wow..he's a tough one I can tell.

HE looked up and saw the infuriated Dagalein staring right back at him.

DAGALEIN: You know...I was going to spare you all, but seeing how you insulted my decision by nagging at me...You two numbskulls are first to get fired!

Karocka still distracted by the burn of his left hand

[SAINT]
SAINT: I was about to talk to master about the mission..I don't like it when people do that.

NIGHTMARE: Yeah, yeah and I hate noisy people...now let's head for the blasted HQ...OR you can stay behind as I said.

SAINT: Now let's get something straight bub...I don't take orders from you..at all! You get them from me..I am Saint, Renagade Ninja and if you piss me off...your end.

Nightmare stared coldly at Saint...

NIGHTMARE: Let's just get going Renegade Ninja *whispers* renagade ninja me @$$*

Lynx didn't have time to think, but Akki was already ahead of him. A strong unseen force, sent both of them flying apart from each other. Lynx was just a bit ticked off now, he engraved a death symbol on the ground, and thrusting his sword into it. It tore up the floor, but jagged rocks burst out near Lynx, and went burst out towards Rev.

"I'm not your every day human that you can just beat the cr*p out of!" Lynx growled out of angry.

Zero laid on the ground as his strength slowly returned to him.

Zero:(Whats this? My power.....is slowly returning to me.....Im starting to feel even stronger.....)

Lynx and Rev were continuing to fight each other.

What had slightly surprised Rev was the fact that he had seen another person was knocked out of Lynx, I could see that my opponent was starting to become a bit heated because of my attack, I stood watching Lynx form his death symbol on the floor not knowing what to expect from this so I watched Lynx thrust his sword into the cold metal floor of the SSS watching the floor become torn up by his attack Lynx summoned jagged rocks that broke thu the metal from underneath and rised up near Lynx he then sent them flieing straight at me. I very easily dodged the attack by using my quick reflexes to lean left and right successfully avoiding Lynxes attack.

Lynx suddenly noticed Zero was missing but had no time to worry as Rev charged in at Lynx. Suddenly there was a quick flash of light. Rev suddenly was kicked hard in the face at speeds faster then he could detect. He took the kick directly to his face and was sent flipping backwards. His back was slammed directly into the steel wall. It was Zero back fully healed and even stronger then ever before. He was surrounded by a bright golden aura as he swiftly landed on his feet.

Zero: Did it hurt you little science freak? HA HA HA HA!! Cower in fear you pathetic weaklings for the Great Zero Has Returned!! AH HA HAHA HA!!

The impact rev took into the steel wall hurt him a little but he got up.
