Chapter 3: SIE Strikes Back

Necro:Sure Mortal!Come with me to ask people in SMASHVILLE about a guy named "Saint".

Necro and co left for SMASHVILLE. When they arrived necro told them to split into groups.

Necro:Mario and Fox will come with me and cover theEastern part of the island and the rest of you go to the west side.

The SSS members split up as Necro,Mario and Fox went EAST.

Fox I'll go in this house. . .TOBY's House.

Necro:Ok I'll check out HOPPER's House

Mario:I'll-a check out. . .JAY's House

They each went into the houses and began to try to persuade them to spit out info.

Dobs: Alright lets get some other hunters to help us find this saint guy.
Mariella: Right, ill call up samus, she'll b glad to help me out.
Dobs: Good, ill get captain falcon.
Mariella: The guy wit the nipple suit? THAT captain falcon?
Dobs: You have a problem with my friend?
Mariella: No...no..not at all...*snickers*...proceed

The group of four met up outside of HQ and began walking over to their ships.

Dobs: Alright, ill take my ship and search the northwest region of congo jungle. Mariella take the northeast. Samus, take your gunship southwest. And captain falcon, take the Falcon Flyer southeast.
Falcon: Show me your moves!
MAriella: *giggles*
Falcon: Falcon....PUNCHHH!!!
Mariella: Should that scare me?
Dobs: ....*slooks at falcon*.... lets go

the group starts walking to their ships when suddenly Dobs stops.

Dobs: Did anyone else jsut feel a slight lunge in their stomachs and a tingling in their fingers?
Mariella: Thats increadibly specific...but no, im sure that your fine.
Dobs: right.. right...

the four pilots/hunters began their flight over kongo jungle

They Were Blasting through the Air At Insane Speed, This Airship was soo fast that It would be a blur to the naked eye...Unkowing to Our Heroes, There were two unexpected Guests on board.......

Kin: Man I Am Thirsty....Im Gonna Check And see If theres anything to drink....Will you be Ok If I go and Check too see if there is a fridge?

Geo: Yea..go ahaead.

Kin gets out of His chair..opens the door and goes out into the hallway...

Kin: wow This place Is Big...Its ike A Halbird....After reaching the kitchen To Find some drinks, Kin felt Like Looking around the place to see If there was any thing worth his time.....

Kins First stop was the cargo room...

Kin: Nothing Special Here...Just Boxes....But one was different....

Kin: I have seen That box somewhere Before...

Snake: Cornell....Did You get all the Info On Kin?...Tell me about Him..

Cornell: Dont Y9ou know Him Already?

Snake: Yea..But Not everything..

cornell: Alright..Kin Was born With ESP, and ilver powers..

snake: Silver?..Like What He turns Things Into Silver By touching them?*Heh heh*

Cornell: No, Its Much Different than That...He Can Control The silver that Eminatesthroughout his body...He can also use His powers oof ESP and Silver together for Efective combat ..Did I mention He has a sword?

Snake: Yea..It seems everyone Has swords Now..How Lame..A true Warrior should Know how to fight with his fists...

Cornell: but you use Weapons..Like Explosives...Is that "Fair?"

Kin Uncovers the Box and finds snake

Kin: Looks Like We have An Unexpected Guest....

KIN: Geo look at this.

Kin went back on the cockpit with the guest.

GEO: What are you doing here?

SNAKE: Same as you guys

GEO: How did you get on?

SNAKE: My secret. Wanna hear a joke?

KIN: Fine.

SNAKE: Spell AIDS

KIN: A.I.D.S

SNAKE: Are you positive?

KIN: Yes.

SNAKE: AHAHa you are postitive you have AIDS? HAHA

Kin kicks him in the shin

KIN: That wasn't funny!

GEO: Were getting close to the site now.

The Flyer decended slowly down seeing a massive wreck on scrap metal and smoke

Outside the SSS HQ a weird portal opened up near the clouds and a small ship was flying towards the ground. It appeared it had been shot down and was terribly damaged. A few of the SSB characters noticed the the ship falling from the sky. The ship was trying to pull up, but smacked the ground below and started sliding towards the HQ. The ship was sliding out of control and even flipped over a few times until it came to a sudden stop in front of the entrance to the HQ. The Brawlers ran over to the crashed ship looking to see if anyone was alive. Then, the hatch to the fighter popped off and out emerged an old hero that was once forgotten.

That hero was LGN.

Ness and Lucas: LGN!!! *ran over and gave him a hug*

LGN: Ahh come on guys! Your embarrassing me.

Ness: *both PK boys let go* What happened to you?

LGN: I had to finish some business back in my own time.

Lucas: Your own time?

LGN: I'm not from this time period Lucas, but I'm not going to talk about it. I'm back and ready to help out in anyway possible.

Lucario: Well, if it isn't my old partner.

LGN: Lucario.

Lucario: LGN.

Ness: Why was your ship shot down?

LGN: Oh no big reason, or at least nothing you need to know about. So what's going on here?

Lucas: We aren't doing anything right now. Smashbro is off fixing R.O.B in the library. Geo and Kin left, and Nerco and Luca left with a group to DK Jungle. There was a man who came from Smashville and said a ninja named Saint is on the lose hanging out with the SIE.

LGN: Is everyone still alive.

Lucas and Ness look down at the ground and frown.

LGN: Sorry I asked. I'll find out for myself later.

Ness: That's about it as of what's happening right now. Come on you should go meet up with everybody. *Lucario, Lucas, and Ness start to walk away*

LGN: Hold up. *Brawlers stop and turn around* I also have brought back.............an.........old friend.

A rustling came from the cockpit of LGN's downed fighter. A dark figure exited the ship and walked over to the group. The figure was none other then an old nemesis.

That nemesis was Karocka.

R.O.B. came in.
"Umm...smashbro. I have something I need to tell you," said R.O.B.
"What is it."
"taking the Niluck stone...wasn't completely Saint's fault."
"What do you mean?"
"I used to work here at the HQ with other R.O.B.'s before the tournament. The Niluck Stone would sit on the first floor, suspended in the air, protecting the HQ. The SIE wanted to get rid of the stone, but they could not get inside. So one day, while I was outside the HQ, a man named Saint came up to me, and told me that he could give me everything I could ever want. He convinced me that I could be more important to the SIE then I would ever be to the SSS. So I changed it. i changed the programming so he would be able to enter. I helped use my laser to destroy the stone. But it couldn't be destroyed. So instead, it was broken into 9 pieces, which Saint took. That's how I gained my posistion in the Army. I'm sorry for doing that."
"But why did you wait till now to tell?"
"Because I wanted to help to undo what I did against the SSS by helping out. I knew it would only be a matter of time before you found out and kicked me out."
"I'm not going to kick you out. You've been a huge help."
"Thank you."

Then smashbag came in, jumping around wildly.
"LGN is back!" said ROB, and the three went out to meet him.
"Glad you're back!" smashbro said, going up to his friend. Smashbro looked at Karockra and immediately got ready to attack. She flung his arms out to make energy waves and...looked stupid. He then realized he no longer had powers. LGN looked like he was going to explain why Karockra was there. After I say goodbye to him, I have to go find the person who is probably responsible for this. Master Hand.

LGN: I guess.......an explanation is of order.

Smashbro: What's he doing here?!?!

LGN: Do not threat. I think Karocka should tell the story.

Karocka: *swallowed* After LGN knocked me to the Earth's core through the hole I opened up. I was left in the core of the Earth alone, with nothing but rock, fire, and the flames. I started to rethink about what I had done to all of you. I realized that what I had done was wrong, all the destruction, the chaos, the fact I killed so many living things. It just urked me just thinking about it. I asked for forgiveness day in and day out, and then it came. I bright white light floated down and asked if I was sorry for what I had done. I said yes and I begged for forgiveness. The white light let me go, and then I met LGN. I explained my story to him, but even he did not buy it. Then at that very instant we were attacked. LGN was badly injured and couldn't move, but I fought off the enemies and saved him.

LGN: It's true.

Karocka: I even healed his injures and made him good as new. He aloud me to come with him and said if I do one thing wrong I'm gone. As we got into his ship again we were attacked again and barely escaped through the portal I opened up to here. That is my story.

Smashbro: That sounds to resent. *turns to LGN* What did you do then over that time?

LGN: *sighs* I haven't told any of you this but I'm not from this time.

Smashbro: I don't understand?

LGN: It's to hard for me to go in-depth on now, but I'm from over a thousand years into the future.

Smashbro: Wooah! This is a little hard to take in.

LGN: If you need more explanation I can tell you, but these guys told me you had.........................something to do. If you need a better explanation or need help I can come along if you want. As for Karocka, well he already knows his way around so no need for a tour.

Karocka: I'll actually go fix your downed fighter LGN. I'll be seeing you two later. *Karocka walks off*

LGN: Soooooo....................need help with anything?

~Dobs, Mariella, Geo, Kin, Falcon, Samus, Snake~
{Kongo Jungle}

Dobs was flying over kongo jungle when he noticed a huge pile of scrap in the heart of the jungle. He pulled up communications with Mariella, Samus, and Falcon.

Dobs: Alright guys, abandon the old plan, we're guna land near the wreckage...you see it?
Mariella: You would have to be blind not to.
Falcon: Show me your moves!!! KYAAAA!!!
Samus: Ill take that as a yes...

The hunters land near the wreckage to find that Kin, Geo, and Snake had beaten them there.

Mariella: Ill check the rubble for any signs of life, or someone hiding.

Mariella raised her left hand to her temple and her right hand out in front of her. She expected to see a pink smoke radiate from her fingers, but nothing happened. She concentrated harder, but her telepathic powers would not function.

Mariella: Thats odd.... i cant focus....
Kin: Geo and i are having the same problems with our powers.
Mariella: really....interesting....

Mariella attempted to create a spirit arrow, and failed. Her staff no longer helped her funnel telepathic energy, it was simply driftwood. Falcon's falcon punch had been depressingly de-flamed as well as his kick. Samus and Dobs however, were having no problems.

Samus: Well, it looks like we're gunna have to search through this trash heap the old fashioned way...

Samus began to grapple peices of rubbel and was flinging them into the jungle as snake detonated them. Dobs helped Captain falcon to carry some of the larger peices of scrap off. Geo and kin did the same.

Mariella however stood on the outskirts of the cleared out section of jungle, attempting to focus. She stared at a leaf, and concentrated....but with no result. She concentrated harder.... nothing. She would not give up until that leaf stirred....

Smashbro then left, with R.O.B. and Smashbag.
"You guys want to help me find Master Hand?" he asked, heading to the armory.
"We both say yes," replied ROB.
"Then let's go." Smashbro took a smash ball from the armory, and the three headed to the portal. but before leaving, he left a note. it read:

Guys:
Gone to subspace with ROB and smashbag. Do not follow. Be back soon~ish.

GEO: This sucks. I wish I could use my powers. Then this excavation would be done by now.

DOBS: Quit whining. It's not helping your powers.

Geo picked up a big rock from the gound. He spotted a blue metal sword amazingly with minimal damage. He went to take a look at it. When he picked it up, he realized it was Saint's

GEO: Guys. Hey Guys...I think I've found something.

KIN: Ooo. where did you find that sword Geo?

GEO: Right here. I think it's Saint's sword

DOBS: Hmmm. Could be right Geo.

SAMUS: I'm scanning it now........It's Saint's alright. But there's something weird about it.

SNAKE: Alright. Let's put this sword away in a safe place and get back to work.

KIN: Right. Hey Dobs, is Marella alright?

DOBS: She might be in denial about losing her powers, or really want them. But as Snake said, we should get back to work now

LGN: Hmmm, looks like....I'm not alone abo......

Lucario: About what?

"well i have stuff to do, but you still have your powers, right? maybe geo and Kin couled use you to help them. Geo said he wished his powers were back."

LGN: Nothing, and what powers........does he speak of? *looks upon hand* Maybe we all have powers......we just don't know it.

Ness: You do have a point there. Except I know my powers.

Lucas: Yeah me too.

LGN: I should go help the others down in the jungle. You guys come with?

Ness: Can't. I'm showing Lucas the ropes how to run the HQ if anything was to ever happen.

LGN: How about you Lucario?

Lucario: *closes eyes* I will come, but will you bring him? *points to Karocka who was under the fighter making repairs*

LGN: And.............what..........is it to you if................he decides to come?

Lucario: I see no reason to trust him, we all know that. I don't see how you can trust him so easily.

LGN: Why.....................shouldn't I.......he saved my life. Would you...................not trust...............someone who saved you once before? I think you can recall...what........someone....did for you..........when you were in trouble.

Lucario: I've been with crafty and shady people in my life, but that doesn't mean I'm ready to turn on them. Because you helped me I'll trust you that he won't screw up anything. If he does, you may be on your own.

LGN: If he comes he comes. We'll take the fighter *starts walking* it'll be *gets affected by blue energy from E.Gadds machine* Uhghhhhh!!! *falls to ground* Ahhhhh!!!!

LGN put his hands over his face and his eyes shut closed. He then started having flashes of everything that he has ever seen and such. He saw flashes from the beginning of his birth all the way up to this day. Mixed in few those quick flashes he saw utter destruction and people dying all around. He heard screams of terror and heard shouts for help. LGN started whispering out loud and in his mind that he wasn't insane. His head started shaking uncontrollably. He heard whispers and talk of the end. The end of what, he didn't know. Some people who knew and met were talking in his mind. He heard MM talking and a shady voice that couldn't be recognized. He heard the other SSS members talking along with people he had me in his time. He started yelling out loud that he wasn't insane. He saw a gruesome image of a dark figure that stood on a mountain of bodies. It appeared the figure knew LGN saw him in the images and the figure pointed at LGN in his mind and made a fist.

Then, it all stopped.

LGN opened his eyes and noticed he was on the ground with Lucario, Ness, Lucas, and Karocka standing over him. Ness and Lucas looked very scared and Lucario had a surprised look on his face, a very odd looking expression. Karocka stared blankly at LGN. LGN stood up and looked at his body. There weren't any bumps or bruises anywhere. The three brawlers quickly grabbed him.

Lucas: You alright?

Lucario: You need to go to the clinic. You were acting insane back there.

LGN: *snaps back* I'M NOT INSANE, I'M NOT INSANE!!! *calms down* Sorry, I....I......don't know what got into me.

Ness: You should go to the clinic. We can see what happened to you.

LGN: No, *breathes loudly* I'm fine. I'm......not going to talk about....what had happened.....to me. Let's just go and meat up with the group that's in the jungle. *turns to Karocka* Karocka, is..............the fighter............*swallows* repaired.


Karocka: It'll be a little rough, but yes she is in good enough shape for flying conditions.

LGN: Do you want to come Karocka?

Karocka: Why not. I know they'll all be surprised to see me with you, but they'll have to get used to the idea.

LGN: You still coming Lucario.

Lucario: I have no choice.

LGN: Then.........let's go. *LGN walks off with Karocka*

Lucas: That doesn't seem like the LGN that I remember.

Ness: He's always pausing when he talks. I've never seen him snap back like that ever. He's usually got a pretty cool head.

Lucario:...............................one things for sure. Somethings wrong in the SSS.

Dobs: Well, if Saint's sword is here...he can't be too far off...
Geo: Yea we should keep moving this stuff out of the way.
Dobs: Do lets... got anyone else you can call for help?
Geo: actually yea, i'll call over my friend Donin.


Geo walked over to the side of the rubble and withdrew his smashball to call Donin.

Meanwhile...

Mariella continued to try and move the leaf....and continued to fail...

Why cant i do this? its so easy, i must be doing somehting wrong.....ughh

there was a slight rustling in the leaves near Mariella... She turned to see nothing but wind....she heard it again, but in a different location. She did a 180 but saw only wind again..

it cant be her.... what business dos she have HERE?....but it HAS to be her...who else could....no...im just being paranoid

she heard it again and turned towards the wind. From it formed a woman with pale green skin and vibrant red-orange hair. She had long pointed ears and peircing green eyes. The bear foot woman slowly walked towards Mariella, the wind picking up behind her. This woman's name was Xzana.

Xzana: Long time no see Mary, how are you doing?
Mariella: Wonderfully, and you?
Xzana: I've been dying to se you and little Dobsy again since Itallonich... where is the little twit anyway?
Mariella: He...*swallows*....what makes you think i'd know?
Xzana: He has something that belongs to a friend of mine, i'd like it back now. *begins to approach Mariella"
Mariella: I dont know what your talking about...*backs up*
Xzana: Oh, on the contrary, i think you know exactly what im talking about...

Xzana gave a menacing looka as she began to walk faster towards Mariella. A vine caught Mariella's foot and she fell backwards.

Xzana: Whats the matter honey? Afraid to fight?

Mariella, got up and sprinted back towards the group. Xzana used the wind to propel herself after her. She pulled a massive amount of vines behind her. Mariella finnally reached the clearing where Dobs and the others were. Xzana stopped at the clearing to see Dobs examining Saint's sword.

Xzana: Hand over that sword boy! its not something you ought to be playing with.
Dobs: YOU!? how did you....? ..nevermind...No thanks, we need this.
Kin: You know this woman?
Dobs: Unfortunatley....crazy freak...controls the environment...bad news.
Geo: i see...dont worry, Donin is on his way.

Dobs held the sword in front of him. He liked the feel of its power in his hands an prepared to fight. The others also withdrew their weapons. Mariella was forced to use her katanas which she had little training with.

[E. Gadd's Lab: The Creators' Alliance]

"Hmm," the professor commented, looking at the radar. "Bob, I think you should see this."

Snicket came over to where E. Gadd stood. "What is it, professor?" E. Gadd pointed at the radar. Snicket saw that on the part of the world where they were, the All-Star Sanctuary, a solitary figure was slowly making his way towards them. "Interesting. We shall just have to wait and see who this is, won't we?" Bob walked out of the lab and stared at the blue sky.

"Master," Sandshrew said from his shoulder. "You have told me of your allegiance neither to the SSS or the SIE, and why you wish to remain seperated from either of these groups. But I have been thinking as my brain has been developing: this thing called love, do you believe in it?"

They continued to gaze, and the specks of the Hands approaching them could be seen. "Of course I do, Sandshrew," Snicket said. "I believe in everything that is good: justice, mercy, freedom, and love. But I have a different perspective than most of the meaning of love. It is usually associated with physical attraction and passion and that sort of thing, but that, my friend, is simply the worldly view. Love is one's willingness to place the needs of someone else above their own, and genuine concern for their well-being. I have known only three persons in my entire life who have truly shown such love to me."

"Bob," Sandshrew said, "I think, according to your definition, that I have a love for you. You are the only friend I've had, and no matter what happens, I will do anything to protect you."

Snicket smiled as the Hands, with Master Hand in front, reached the area directly in front of them. "That means a lot, friend," he said. "It really does."

But Bob's thoughts were now absorbed in the memory of those who had loved him: his gentle mother, his wise father, and, of course, Yoshi. He was slightly distraught that Yoshi hadn't understood why he had to leave them, but believed that his old friend would eventually figure it out. For one tiny moment his darkened, glazed eyes began to regain their brightness and sharpness.

"Bob Snicket," Master Hand said with the other six hands beside him. "What are we to do now that the SSS has been weakened? I tire of remaining out of the action."

"Don't worry," Snicket said. At this distraction, his eyes reverted back to their glazed, dark appearance. "We need not do anything at the moment; the forumers will by now be noticing what is wrong, and someone will be bound to connect the problem with you or me. Then, we very well may need to resort to some type of fighting, which I know you enjoy. We even have a visitor approaching as we speak."

"Ah, is that so?" Master Hand seemed less impatient now. "Well, we will be around."

The sunset reflecting off of his face, Snicket folded his arms and watched as the Hands went to an area not far away from the lab. It wouldn't be long now.

[Naked Snake II]

GEO: I may not be able to use my full power, but (pulls out Spathi) I know how to fight without them.

KIN: (pulls out his sword) I'm too use to my Silver magic, I might some help getting my head straight.

XZANA: Who are these fellas? Friends of yours Dobsy?

DOBS: Yes they are and were going to have a little reunion here Xzana.

Dobs got a glimpse of Marella. He could tell she had some fear in her eyes.

DOBS:** I hope Marella will pull through. I hope Xzana doesn't know what happened to us or were as good as goners.**

SNAKE: Your one fine looking lady there. MMMmmm..MMMM.

Xzana looked at Snake in disgust. She then snickers.

XZANA: Sorry stud, but I don't like you.

SNAKE: Cold and straight to the point. I like a woman like that.

Suddenly a tree bark sprung out of the ground nailing Snake in the "area"

SNAKE: (going down slowly) Awww....Snap...

XZANA: That was fun.

DOBS: I can tell you've gotten stronger since our last encounter.

GEO: Are we going to fight or talk? We need to gain progress here.

KIN: Geo is right. We can't do this all day.
