Chapter 2: Search for Protection

Smashbro was talking to the Silver Seekers.
"Do anything you can to get that piece, we need it. Negotiate, fight, whatever. Just keep the other members of the SSS safe."
"Other members?" Pit asked.
"Yeah, dont worry about me, im not that important." smashbro replied.
"But you are." Pit said.
"Yeah, right." then, smashbro was contacted via the smash orb, and was told of what Snicket did.
"Hmmm.....Why would he...sh*t. I think ive started to put 2 and 2 together. As soon as we find Marth, im going to go back to the HQ. I have work to do." smashbro said, and ran off. he soon found Marth and Link, and had them teleported to the HQ.

Back with the silver seekers, Pit had found Ness.
"Somethings got Smashbro vexed," said Pit. 'And mark my words, whatever bodes ill for Smashbro, bodes ill for us all."

{Someplace}
Master Hand had called the other hands to talk about what he had recently said.
"So, I have just accepted an invitation to join Snicket's Alliance." He said. The other 7 looked disgrunted.
"Why didnt you talk to US about joining?" asked Crazy Hand.
"I believed it would be in the best interest for us," replied master hand. "Just wait and see...it may be more profitable then you think."

{SSS HQ}
Smashbro retired to the library, and started to search for some books. After pulling out stacks, he would sit for hours on end, and read them. Most of the time, after finishing a book, smashbro would angrily throw the book on the ground.

Smashbro was down to 1 pile of books left, when Link came in.
"are you done yet?" Link asked.
"No," smashbro said, not looking up from his book.
"Well, will you stop, this reading is starting to get annoying," replied Link.
"Annoying?" smashbro asked, getting up. "Saving the world is annoying?"
"Dont worry about it, things will work out eventually." said Link. "Just go back to what you always did, worry about your friends back home."
"My friends are here," smashbro replied, angry.
"Yeah, what about S..." Link started.
"She doesnt like me, get over it." Smashbro replied sharply.
"You cant..." Link replied.
"Shutup," smashbro said, and went back to his work. After a long pause, Link brought up something out of nowhere.

"Why did you have to come to our worlds with your forumers and everything?" Link asked.
"What?" smashbro asked, put off gaurd by the question.
"Why did the forumers come?"
"Whats wrong with us coming?"
"I dont know, everything was fine before you came and now we have more enemies to worry about..."
"But there are also more allies."
"Things were fine the way they were."
"Oh...so thats it. you dont like change do you?"
"...Well...Yeah, you know what, fine ill tell you. It is the change. You forumers came and ruined the balance of everything, and now everyone has more to fight."
"but you would be fighting anyways."
"But its the CHANGE!" Link exclaimed. "And youre the worst of all, you always want change, something to be different."
"Well of course i do, i dont fear change."
"And why is that?"
"Because I have nothing to lose."
"What?!?"
"For me, change is always better, cause it leads to better things."
"Oh, I get it, you want things to change so you can live in a little Fairy Tale world where everything works out and everyone's happy and you get Sarah and..."
"YOU LEAVE SARAH OUT OF THIS!"
"NO, CAUSE YOU WANT EVERYTHING TO BE PERFECT FOR YOU, AND CANT ACCECT THAT THINGS WONT ALWAYS WORK OUT FOR THE GOOD GUYS!"
"I WANT EVERYTHING TO BE PERFECT FOR THE GOOD OF EVERYONE! AND I BELEIVE THAT IT COULD HAPPEN."
"BUT THERES TOO SMALL A CHANCE FOR THAT!"
smashbro was still angry, but got his emothions under control. "No cause is lost, if there is but one fool to fight for it. Now get out. I have work to do."

[Final Destination: Snicket, Kirby, Professor E. Gadd, the Hands]

Snicket, Kirby, and E. Gadd watched as Master Hand negotiated with the other Hands: Crazy Hand, Lady Hands, Hand of Mitas, Silver Hand, Ice Hand, and Flame Hand. They were all on the platform of Final Destination, with the intricate and mystifying movements in the background going on.

Crazy Hand: "But there is still the incident from Icicle Mountain. You owe me an apology, Master Hand!"

Master Hand: "Alright, I'm sorry I fooled you into thinking Lady Hand actually likes you." This, of course, only made Crazy Hand angrier, but Lady Hand held him back.

Lady Hand: "Ignore that, Crazy. What matters is that we will have our revenge both on the Minister and the SSS!" Lady Hand's soothing touch seemed to calm the angry hand down.

"Now," Master Hand said authoritatively, "Snicket will tell you more..."

Master Hand moved away for Snicket to step forward. "Thank you, Master Hand," he said, always calmly. "But remember that we only interfere when there is unbalance. However, at the moment, since I've been gone, I am unsure what the status is. What is the Minister up to?"

Lady Hand: "He has been fighting against a group of the SSS on a ship called the Blue Kismet...however, he is failing horribly."

"Interesting," Snicket said thoughtfully. "He has such a strong aura of power, yet his army is exceedingly lacking in strength. What this means is if it looks as if the SSE is about to be wiped out, we have three options:
First, we could assist and strengthen the Minister's Army.
Second, we could weaken the SSS to even the odds.
Thirdly, we could add another adversary to the equation.
What do you think?"

Master Hand: "Well, I'm most certainly not helping the Minister! I would go for the second option..." The Mitas, Silver, and Ice Hands nodded themselves in agreement.

Crazy Hand: "Well, if you mean making ourselves the third adversary, I'd go for the third option..." Lady and Flame Hand agreed with this.

"Ah," E. Gadd said unexpectedly; the group turned to the professor. "But what if we were to add another adversary, but not make it ourselves? I know plenty of creatures and characters who would love to oppose this SSS..."

Snicket asked, "Whom would you suggest we find, should such a course be taken?"

E. Gadd replied only by saying, "I will tell you if the need arises...but for now, I have to agree with Master Hand's lot...the Minister is everyone's enemy, but the SSS is too strong...it would be in balance's best interest if they were weakened...however, many of them are friends of mine, so I suggest we not go for the 'Kill a Bunch of People' approach; rather, cut off one of their primary aids..."

"Such as?" Snicket asked.

"These forumers you tell me of sound quite strong," E. Gadd said. "Ridiculously strong, actually. The SSE has never stood a chance against them. But what if they were to lose their ability to act beyond the natural man?"

Everyone looked at the professor quizzically and confused.

"In other words, we have to make them like normal people."

Snicket gasped. "Is this possible?"

The professor nodded slowly, smiling. "To my lab!"

[Doomflame]

MM was forced outside.
MM:WHoa!I gotta be careful out here or ill-
Just then an arwing fell and hit MM off
MM:AAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaa.......
Fox:God D**n it!More SSE and MM fell AGAIN!

{With MM Falling}
MM:Gah!!!Got to live on!!
MM was fallind and falling...
Then the ground was visible and he was going for a volcano
MM:Aw Crap!
But MM wasnt REALLY headed for a volcano but for a forest.MM landed by swinging on a branch and wasn't hurt at the least.
MM:Haha!Those classes really helped!But...Where am I?
MM looked around and he has NEVER seen this forest and he was all around the world before.Then MM saw a hole...a floating hole.
MM:hm...This doesn't seem right...
MM:Then everything disappeared and turned into a room...Then the door opened...

[sonicoutruns]

Fox: I have to follow MM!
Wolf: Forget it, Fox! Lose him or this whole team!
Fox: No! *flies arwing high seep to where MM falls*
Wolf in his Wolfen shoots Fox's Arwing.
Fox: What are you doing!?
Wolf catched Fox into his Wolfen.
Wolf: There is no use, Fox. Do I always have to save your life?
Falco: Dang! I'm not doing too good!

(inside Blue Kismet)
Everyone is now cornered at the main control room except for Staunch and Sonic.
Articuvouch: We cant allow them to get any closer!
Amy is then caught by a SSE blob that swallows her then it vanishes.
Thump: AMY! NO!
Slippy: Agh! Help!
Krystal: AH!
Slippy and Krystal gets swallowed.
Thump charges in the crowd of SSE but is just swallowed and gone.
Articuvouch: Quick! Use the emrgency button!*presses it* Agh! It's not working!!*gets swallowed* run for it...
Peppy picks up a talking device: Falco! Do you hear me?!
falco: We cant shake em off!
Wolf: MM is gone and Fox is with me.
Peppy: Okay, I nee-*gets swallowed* aaagh!
ROB tries to fight them from the control room but is beat and swallowed.

(outside in space)
Fox: Peppy? PEPPY!
Mario: I am the last survivor! Not cool at all! I came on this journey for pasta and this is what I get!?
Fox: We will get in there just hold on!
Wolf: FACE IT! WE LOST!
Fox: Wolf? What are saying!?
Wolf turns his Wolfen around and starts the other way.
Falco: Dont leave!
Fox jumps out of the Wolfen onto Falco's Arwing.
Falco blasts Wolf's Wolfen.
Wolf: DA*N!
Falco and Fox picks him up in the Arwing.
Falco: No one is leaving.
Mario: I cant hold em off for ever!
Fox: Just hang in there, buddy!

(In Blue Kismet)
Mario is then hit off gaurd then swallowed.
The Blue Kismet started breaking little by little.
Right when the Blue Kismet blew up the Arwing was swallowed with it...

In a small peice floating in space there was Staunch laying there badly injured. Sonic stood there looking down at him.
a voice was heard.
: Mwh, hm, hm, hhm... is this the fate of who oppose me?
Sonic doesn't turn around.
: Ah, yes. The fate is a perfect revenge...
Sonic closes his eyes still listening.
: And now you *all the SSE appear* die you foolish hedgehog.
Sonic then knew it was the minister.
Sonic: Yeah? *turns dark* let's test.. them.. OUT!!
Minister: Where did he go? Where is my SSE!!??
Sonic: gone. I'm right behind you...
Minister: Wha-!?
Sonic: And now time will go back as to it once was!!
Minister: Huh? NO!!
Everything turns white...

[Mariomasher]

?:Hello, MM...
MM:What?Who are you?
MM:I am you...
MM:Impossible!Im Me!
MM:Yes but im you too...
MM:How?
DMM:I am you Dark side...Let me take over...
MM:Wait where am i?
DMM:You have been currently erased from reality...but after the winner stands I will come back...
MM:What makes you think you'll win?
DMM:Because...Its a battle...
MM:Its on.
MM pulled out an ice sword and charged at DMM
DMM pulled out a shadow ice sword and charged at MM.

The white went away and there was the Blue Kismet back to tip top shape.
Everyone was laying there (Staunch, Thump, Amy, Articuvouch, Fox, Falco, Slippy, Krystal, ROB, Peppy, Wolf, and Mario).
Staunch got up.
Staunch: Ow. My head hurts...
Everyone else got up aching.
Articuvouch: Strange... what happen?
Mario: Ma ma mia.
Sonic walks in.
Sonic: Hey guys... are we going to go to the SSS now?
Peppy: What am I doing here?
Wolf: Yeah? Good question.
Peppy: Come on Star Fox let's leave now... ow my back...
Fox: i'll stay with Team Kismet foe right now.
Slippy: Why?
Fox: They need my help.
Amy: And we need Wolf and Falco.
Falco: Well let's get moving then!
The Blue Kismet starts up to warp as the Star Fox Mother Ship flies away.
Right when the Blue Kismet was about to warp to the SSS...
Mario: Where's my pasta?
Staunch: Where's MM?
The Blue Kismet blasts off to the SSS...

[Big Boss]

Kin was sitting on E gadds Couch messing around with his DNA tracker....So was Yoshi, but Kin didnt want to approach him at the time because of what happend to his freindship between Snicket and him.

Kin*Poor yoshi..he did not deserve what Snicket Did*

Kin saw dobs and Mareilla arguing about something, But that was common..they were always argueing.

Waluigi was fiddiling around with E. Gadds Inventions..and the Ice climbers were downstairs playing around...the only person that kin did not notice was doom

Kin: *he is probobly dosing off*

Kin got up and streched his arms and walked to the windo to see in his dismay, All of the hands...Proffessor Gadd Kirby and Snicket all walking to there direction

Kin: HEY! WE HAVE A EMERGENCY!

[Dobs]

{E. Gadd's Lab}

The group's seven DNA trackers began to beep. The rythm became increasingly faster with each moment.

Kin: HEY! WE HAVE A EMERGENCY!

Dobs and Mariella looked out the window to see ten adversaries approaching. A mysterious cloaked figure, pink puffball, a strange scientist and seven hands. One right, one left, one of silver, gold, fire and ice. And of course a women's hand. The Creator's Alliance was approaching.

Dobs: Well, it looks like we aren't the only ones in need of Gadd's inventions, i was wondering when they'd come back for the lab.

Dobs, Mariella, and Kin began to alert everyone in the lab of the oncoming adversaries. Dobs threw a bag of Doritos at Doom and woke him up. The group of eight exited the front door of the laband stood their ground.

Kin: What ever it is you want from this lab, you're going to have to get through US to get to it!
Dobs: Eight against Ten, i'd say that those odds are as good as they get.

The Counter Creators stood in a line across the front of the lab. The determined looks on their faces showed that they had no intentions of backing down.

Kin: HEY! WE HAVE A EMERGENCY!

((OOC: Doom, we are in the feild where all star mode takes place, we just escaped subspace, and are in Gadd's Lab))

Snicket groaned inwardly. They really think we're out to get them, don't we? Come on, it's the professor's lab...

Snicket took a step forward; the Counter Creators now noticed what had really changed about him: his eyes. They used to be blue, sparkling with wisdom and good intentions. They still did in a way, but were rather glazed, not quite as profound as they were before. Bob held his hand up in a gesture of peace, motioning with his other hand for the others of the Alliance to remain still.

"I've told you before, we mean you no harm! Is it unreasonable for Professor E. Gadd to have access to his own lab? There is plenty I will be willing to do before resorting to a fight...we are not your enemies; I suggest you regard us as neutral, yet in a manner opposite to IOwnedYou; we do not seek to destroy everyone; we want to preserve the balance...I ask you kindly to leave...what say you?"

[Big Boss]

Kin: We cant do that Snicket! It is our duty to stop whatever you have planned,This isnt just a story that you can control, It peoples lives that you also have to deal with! You cant mess with that!

Just then Yoshi runs up to Snicket In tears....trying to budge snicket away from the lab

Kin: Yoshi!?....I knew he would do this

[Dobs]

[Dobs, Mariella, Kin, Yoshi, Doom, the Ice Climbers, and Waluigi
Snicket, Kirby, Professor E. Gadd, the Hands]

Mariella: Yoshi....yoshi come back....

the dinosaur did not listen, though snicket did not budge either.

Dobs: Well Snicket, the way i see it you have two options. You can fight us for whatever it is you want in there, which i doubt will do any good for anyone on the side of good. OR you can walk away, and leave said item behind. Whichever you choose, you won't get what you're looking for. So i suggest you save us both the effort and walk away now.

Mariella walked up to yoshi and carried him back towards the group.

[Mariomasher]

MM slashed at DMM but it was blocked.
DMM:Your weak!
MM:You just won't admit im stronger!
MM freezes DMM.
MM:Hm...Your wrong...
MM turned around and DMM was right there and unharmed
MM:WHA-?!
DMM:our weak as i said...
MM and DMM battled for Days...
MM:One of these days youll die!
DMM:HAAA!
MM:Whats so funny?
Suddenly MM felt pain in his chest...
MM:argh...wha...whats going on...
DMM:I CAN"T be killed...and you walked into my trap!
MM:What trap?
DMM:Im draining your life!
MM fell to his knees
MM:Agh...mmmph....gah...
MM blacked out...
DMM:See?You cant match my power!
DMM then Stabs MM in the chest and leaves the sword there...The Room went white

Snicket, Kirby, Professor E. Gadd, the Hands]

"You are all taking this far too seriously," Snicket said, his darker blue eyes glinting with impatience. "Kin, you say that your duty is to stop WHATEVER I'm doing? To me, that sounds not a little paranoid...It annoys me that just because I declined your offer to join the SSS, you immediately take me for a savage evil demon seeking to make people miserable.

"And you think I don't know the value of life? Why do you think I'm trying so hard to resolve this peacefully? Try losing everything and everyone important to you in one night, and then living for the rest of you life never knowing why."

"You are kindling the flames of a fire which I am trying to put out. But if you refuse, then let it be written that the SSS, not I, made the first act of aggression; I have done nothing to you maliciously, and have no guilt or blame for desiring to reclaim our property." Bob then turned to Gadd. "Professor, do have that Hydrogush 3000 of yours on remote operation?"

"Sure do, lad," E. Gadd said, holding up a remote.

"Good." Snicket turned back to the lab. "Now I will give you one last chance: leave in peace so that we may be left in peace."

Dobs: First off, Mariella and i have lost pretty much everything but each other, so we know what it is like to lose those close to you. Trust me, we do. And i think i'd be lying if i said that no one of our party has ever lost anything.

If you are trying to be peaceful, then why not tell us what you are planning to do? If its so peaceful, why not let it out in the open? Im sure if your intentions were peaceful we would be happy to oblidge in helping you carry them out. I'm not entirley sure what you are planning to do, but i'm sure it can't be good.

If you want to flush us out, go ahead. But you should now, that it will not be that we will not be flushed out easily.

Dobs withdraws his sais, Mariella her bow, Kin his silver sword, Doom dark, the ice climber's hammers, waluigi's racket, and yoshi's eggs. The group was not leaving willingly.
