Lol, syc, But anyway, I feel whoever did this should speak up . I mean, everyone does bad things. He/she should face the music, because once they DO find out, they will make the suffering worse

he wrongly accuesed me of doing. He won't get any mercy from me. I'm still not convinced entirely but whatever. I'm just tired of people messing around with it stupidly and the whole thing being a mess Point is.. someone amongst us is lying...but again..whatever it's over with... not like whoever did it will speak up anyway Me neither Ghost.. Someone here is lying and aren't man enough to fess up. 5 mods have the password. two were oblivious to the situation, 1 was gone and the other two were being very skepticle. I don't buy these "Glitch" idea because its very farfetched. The fact that a random glitch can randomly appear and lock the c-box is just too hard to believe. There is a possibility of that happening but its very slim. One of the mods did it because only they have the power to. No this situation isn't a big deal because it only lasted for like 5 minutes but what if no one was informed of the incident and 5 minutes turned into 5 hours. Would it be a big deal then? Locking the c-box is very childish, I know because I freaking messed with it once. Out of pure emotion I seized that box to speak my heart and hope people will listen. That was my fault and I know what emotions or even spite can do to people. If we don't find out who did this now, it will come back to haunt us. In one form or another this will happen again, this time for two hours, then 10 hours and it keeps getting worse and worse. Don't you guys understand that dropping things does not solve the problem? People just can't forgive and forget because the same things happen all the time. This must stop now! The person that did this must confess and receive their punishment because their actions are the ones that are planting the seeds of drama into our new NES site, which was suppose to be our rebirth.

There have been cbox glitches before. Out smilies were deleted twice, some random members were unbanned, etc.
In theory, anything's possible. I mean, If that person saw us tearing eachother's faces off, I doubt they'd be cruel enough to let our forum kill itself out of questionable integrities.

That sounds more like a reset SLE. I would believe in a glitch that accidentally reset the box back to its default settings but one to lock the c-box is very far fetched. When you unban someone or delete a smily it just does it, it doesn't ask you if that's really what you want to do. When you press the lock button, it pull up another message and asks you again if your decision is final. It's very hard to believe that a glitch would bypass that.
Yes SLE, anything is possible and I do believe that no one would let our site fall to ruin but not assuming responsibility for their actions because of fear is not the right things to do. If a person indeed did this, they are too scared to confess and/or doesn't want any wraith being thrown on them. Can we blame them? No.. Is it still right to do? No.. This is a cowardly act and it will come back to haunt us later on. We made NES to restart guys. We made it for improvement and to clean out all the amounts of bullshit that has happened throughout the previous months. We don't need that crap to build up again. We can drop this for now but if the c-box gets locked again for a longer period of time without anyone knowledge beforehand, we will know that someone is playing games.

When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.

Sherlock Holmes is nothing compared to the NES detective agency.

Sherlock Holmes is nothing compared to the NES detective agency. Devaux is right, SLE is right. Glitches happen. We can't assume before any rationalization that it must be a conspiracy.

How do you know it's not the other way around? You guys decided to have an argument right before the cbox locked itself

Smart-alecky comment gets smart alec responce.
Well SLE, maybe if your name didn't sound like a sexual term of liquid you wouldn't have to capitalize the first three letters in your name now would you?

Okay.. I think this should be the end of it.. since a day has gone by and anyone who wants to say otherwise had a day to say anything else. Final position of the site: We don't know what happened. Let's just leave it at that. If you want the NES to be a rebirth without drama, then make that your position too.
