2D, like the original (when they were good) FFs.
Darker, more gloomy color scheme spare two areas: Never and Aeoldu.
The two different games tell the story from two perspectives, and even still, you can play through different character's storyline in both games.
Lock = The normal part of the story.
You can play as Shiraku, Lord Kraven, Dove, Gabriel, and Half ( The name of the character, not "half of a regular character" ).
The Lock tells the story of how Shiraku accidently caused his homeland to be destroyed, how Kraven left Ghot's military force after obtaining a weapon known as Thanatos and slaughtering his family under it's control, how Dove left his human camp to move to a safer place in Asgulia (Shiraku's homeland) after being invited by an Asgulian group devoted to protecting humans, how Gabriel was killed and fell to Earth as a broken angel after being denied entry into the heavens and the underworld, and how Half led the human people to salvation and directly caused the human race to once again prosper.

The Key would tell the story of a group of soldiers that fought in the Gulkan army, the tale of Vicious's attempt at avenging his family's death (Vicious = Kraven's brother), Fayt Saratome's journey to uncover who he is (Kraven's son, who was spared as a baby and after Kraven fell out of the curse, he was brought far away from the scene of the massacre and left with an elderly couple who took him in and raised him), Dusk (Was friends with Dove and a girl named Angel, whom he had deep feelings for, yet Angel was more interested in Dove), after Angel's death when Dove left the camp, blamed Dove blindly out of compassion for Angel, and sought to kill him.

Very sketchy, as you can see. I do have most of their stories worked out, though, so if you're interested I'd be glad to explain more.

Here is a new idea for a game. Yoshi story wii.
A new yoshi story wii
thi time bowser jr stole the tree to finishw aht his young dad could not.
Each yoshi color has its own abbility. There are some old levels and new levels.

Like the idea about the abilities
But I believe that the older stages were well cliche
so you may be better off with new stages
Anyway nice to see a classic being brought back to life
