*giggle* You didn't have to make her hair that similar to her. You could have played around with the design it it made you feel evil. ^^;; I actually made her design before I started watching Zero no Tsukaima.. and her hair is blonde. So don't call me a copycat. *is gasping*
But no, otherwise I love it. One of the best attempts I've seen. A few things I can critique about for future references? I mean, your obviously not used to this kinda drawing is the feeling I get when I look at it.
The only real problem is that it lacks depth, but that kinda apart of your style. It's simple lines and they are very good, but you get a very flat look from the picture. Once you get better and better, trying playing with sources of light and shading more. I also, and this might be just me.. find that the legs are bit healthy in comparison to the rest of her body. She also looks a bit old for Arietta. Though that's mostly my fault I think in the end.
All around, I do like it and will keep it. I won't lie to you and say it's exactly how I invision her, but if I wanted to do that I would grab a pen and pencil and practice till I could do it myself. I'm so happy you just took the time to try your best, and you gave a very good attempt. Her hair is lovely, and has depth to it, which is strange in comparison to her body, it very much stands out. But this isn't a bad thing, her hair always stood out in my mind anyway.

Well I didn't mean that you were copying, just that my vision of her looked like Louise, so I was thinking about her the entire time I was drawing.
Didn't really shade on purpose, this is more like a test. And no, I've never really been efficient at angry lolis so this wasn't supposed to look magnificent. For some reason I can't get my style to look too young, which is why this pic looks awkward.

For some reason I can't get my style to look too young, which is why this pic looks awkward. It's fine, I like it again. I hope you don't feel like I'm unhappy with the result. I focused mainly on problems because I wanted to give you actual critique and not just say I liked it and kept shut. I would suggest looking around, watching anime with younger characters and looking how their bodies are structured. There is a very simple grace about them that is hard to capture, but once you do you've struck gold. Yes, like all things.. I know you'll keep practicing and shine. Feel free to bug me for test subjects at anytime. ^^

Well I'm glad someone takes the time to actually point this shit out to me. Every other time I'm just told to do another and then another and then another until someone is satisfied.
However I will try again, and thanks ^_^
