Ok so for art class i have to do 6!!! drawings of anything i want. so i choose to do my living room in the "style" of 6 different cartoons. my first one is done and my 2nd one is almost done, but i only have pictures of them both almost finished online. the 3rd and 4th ones are pictures of them finished im now done with 6 but i havent gotten them all up online yet. here they are: www.503park.com/Jeff/b-art.htmlthe first ones "spongebob squarepants" and the second ones "invader zim" 3rd ones hellboy 4th ones samurai champloo... mario and calvin and hobbes airn't up yet but i finished them it's the same composition, since its based on the set up of my living room but its stylized differently i think they came out sweet! ill keep you guys updated on the next 4!!! i have to do... oh also notice spongebobs tv say zim... im gonna draw in zims tv what ever the next show is so there will be a cool transitional thing going on... obviously the last drawing will have a hint to spongebob so it all goes in a circle. |

honestly to finish them about 4-5 hours.
i gotta look through my dvds of the show for like good shots of furniture and stuff, then sketch outt he basic set up of my living room then sketch the whole thing out then slowly ink the sketch and use pastels to color it all in.
yeah invader zims my favorite cartoon of all time it's SOOO funny.
dunno why it got canceled it WASN'T cause it was disturbing i think it was much more because johnen vasquez the guy who made it, wouldnt co-operate with nickelodeon goodl ike he KEPT wnating to do stuff and they wanted to tell him how the cartoon SHOULD be run and he wouldnt put up with it.
but from what i've seen of nickelodeon tkaing control it always ends up terrible...
like the NEW epsiodes of spongebob airn't funny. im sorry but its true and i love spongebob.
orl ike when they just straight mix jimmy neutron and fairly odd parents just to have an "event" to advertise, they're all about ratings and not about good cartoons or being funny anymore. its sad...

yea they killed spongebob latley, it got really kiddy and not funny at all....quite terrible actually
i wish i had io or one of those 10000 channel deals so i could still watch me zim

yes it does, no tv's in that tiem period so i had to get creative... once i get a picture of all 6 finished ones the order goes spongebob, invader zim, calvin and hobbes, super mario bros, hellboy, samurai champloo and then back to spongebob so the whole idea of hinting at the next one loops.

Pretty cool, guy. I like the concept behind it, but if I were to suggest anything having been done differently you might have left the characters out of the scene. You aren't in any danger, but the absence of copyrighted names and characters would give the over-all composition a more original charm, while still having the obvious allusion to the style that inspired the work.
