Meta Knight went to the Mayor to see if he knew anything about the strange happenings, only to find the mayor laying on the ground, dead, with a knife lodged in the back of his neck. There was blood on the floor, most likely from his slow, painful death.
Meta Knight: This can't be happening!
He left the office and headed back outside. He walked away from the building the Mayor was in, and went to turn a corner when Mario bumped into him. They both fell backwards.
Mario: What where you're-a go--Eeeeh, it's-a Meta Knight!
Meta Knight: Yeah, nice to meet you too, Mario.
Mario: Meta Knight, would you-a happen to know about the disappearance of Princess Peach-a?
Meta Knight: I can't help you with that. I've got my own problems, like figuring out why all these strange occurings have...well, occured.
Mario: Well, do you-a mind if I tag-a along?
Meta Knight: I don't see what harm we could could cause, so sure, I guess.
Mario: Should we go talk-a to the mayor?
Meta Knight: I tried that already. He's dead.
Mario: Whaaaaaat?!
Meta Knight: I saw a knife lodged in the back of his neck, which means he drowned in his own blood.
Mario: Wow.
Meta Knight: Yes. I'm wondering who it was that killed the Mayor.
? ? ?: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

The reason ch. 2 was so short was because I didn't have much time to write anything down, and I REALLY needed to write something. So, yeah.
