U.V.E was not happy with what was happening. Meta Knight and the others had gotten past Ganondorf, Groudon, and Zangiel. Those were his most powerful warriors which had not been defeated. Now he had no other choice but to use his last resort.
Shao Kahn.
U.V.E: Shao Kahn! I summon you!
A man wearing a skull helmet with flaps coming down the sides came out of the shadows. He was wearing a skull harness but no shirt. There was 1 shoulder pad on each arm, both spiked. On his wrists were spiked wristbands. Around his waist was a belt with a skull-shaped belt buckle. He was wearing black pants and red, plated boots with a metal lining. The feet of the boots were black. A long, red cape was coming off the shoulder pads.
Shao Kahn: What is it, master?
U.V.E: See to it that none of Meta Knight's friends live. And be sure to destroy him, too.
Shao Kahn: As you wish, master...
The warrior vanished instantly in a flash of light.
U.V.E: Shao Kahn will destroy them, I have no doubt. I have seen him murder various others, and I'm sure he will do the same with Meta Knight and his friends. Hahahaha... AHAHAHAHA!

Link ran out and joined his friends.
Lucario: Where were you?
Link: Sorry I couldn't help you guys earlier... I was fending off some guards...
Mario: Apologies can wait-a till later.
Django: What we need to do now is to figure out where U.V.E is.
Marth: And how do you propose we do that?
Meta Knight: That's the problem. U.V.E is millions of miles away from where we are right now.
Link: Well he ain't getting any closer.
Mario: And what-a do you propose?
Meta Knight: Uh...guys...?
Everyone noticed a white circle underneath them, and it suddenly turned black, and they vanished from their spot.
They all suddenly found themselves on a clear-plated battlefield that seemed to go on forever. Someone was falling from the sky. They landed and punched the ground with their fist, causing a tremor.
Shao Kahn had appeared.
Django: Oh, great, who's this clown?!
Shao Kahn: I am SHAO KAHN! And your life ends HERE!!
Shao Kahn ran for Mario and engaged him with hand to hand combat. Mario was not used to that type of fighting and was tossed aside.
Shao Kahn pulled out a hammer and ran for Marth. The two engaged in combat, and while Marth was faster, Shao Kahn was stronger and mashed Marth in the side of the head, knocking him out.
Lucario came out of nowhere and kicked Shao Kahn in the back of the head. Lucario stood ready should anything happen. Something did happen; Shao Kahn launched a green beam from his eyes and knocked Lucario back.
Django slid and tripped Shao Kahn, and quickly jumped back. The hammer-owning warrior got up and was quickly subdued by a tackle coming from Link. Shao Kahn swung around and knocked anybody near him a fair distance away.
Meta Knight flew down and slashed at Shao Kahn various times, only to get a face full of hammer in return.
The fight against Kahn would not be easy...
