Chapter 1: Let the Adventure Begin
www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jSubcZIFWk&feature=related
Ganondorf entered his castle, and took off his cape.
“I can’t believe I was tricked by him…again!” Ganondorf complained, throwing his cape onto a Bokoblin, who went to put it away. He climbed up to his bedroom, of course in the tallest tower.
“Why did I have to put in so many stairs?” he wondered aloud, finally making it to the top. He unlocked the door, and plopped down onto his bed to rest. He sighed.
“I haven’t had a good plan in a long time, and last time I just used that crazy guy (Zant) as a last resort. Hey…what’s that?” Ganondorf had looked over to his desk, which had something wrapped on top. He opened it, and found inside what looked like the trophy gun from the emissary, but he knew it was one of the laser guns. It was all black, with the coloring on the side black too, instead of blue.
Ganondorf smiled. Then, he looked at the note next to it.
Dear Ganondorf, King of Evil, King of the Gerudo, Wielder of the Triforce of Power, Deserving King of Hyrule, owner of the Triforce and all surrounding lands,
Your ingenious idea to copy the trophy gun of Tabuu was finally successful. Also, due to your description of the ray gun, we have modified it so that you will be able to use it to acquire unwilling enemies to become part of your army, who will then do whatever you wish. Thank you for your confidence in me and the others you put in charge of this project.
Gharmit, the Deku scrub.
Ganondorf smiled once more. “I knew this would work. Most of my army would not be smart enough to make this, but by taking the smartest of them, I knew there would be a chance. So I had them work on this, day and night. NOW I CAN CREATE THE MOST POWERFUL ARMY IN THE WORLD BY MAKING THE HEROES JOIN MY ARMY! Why did I just say that out loud?”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bowser sulked into his castle, which was modeled like the one from Super Mario RPG, exhausted from the last journey. He could not believe that he had been manipulated once more. He had a servant bring him a Chuckola Cola, which he brought downstairs to his lava tub. It looked like a room that would ordinarily hold an Olympic sized swimming pool. Except the pool was circular and filled with lava. He had been resting there for less then 5 minutes when a paratroopa flew in.
“You have a letter, Mr. King Bowser,” the Paratroopa said.
Bowser sighed. “Thanks…what is it? Another electric bill? Did I forget to renew my subscription to The National Enquirer? I got some great ideas from them.” Bowser looked off into space. “Good times, good times.” Then, he opened the letter.
Dear King Bowser,
We did it! Remember when you told some of us to spy on Ganondorf? Well ,we saw his minions working on a ray gun like Tabuu used against you. So we stole the plans. I was the only one to make it out alive though…go I got some help and made you a present. It will be up on your bed.
Drimip, the Koopa.
“I told them to spy on Ganondorf?” Bowser asked out loud. “I guess I did. Wait. I need to go see that present!” Bowser jumped out of his tub and ran towards the stairs when he remembered something. He turned around, and ran back towards the pool.
The messenger hoped that he remembered the customary tip of one coin. But to his dismay, Bowser picked up his soda and then ran upstairs.
Bowser entered his messy bedroom, which he would get around to cleaning “sometime”. It had dressers and a bed and a poster for “The Goombas: mushroom kingdom tour”. Everything was green orange or black, with horns as decorations at the corner of his bed, etc. On the bed was a brown package. Bowser ripped through it and found a ray gun, but with the side color being orange. Bowser shouted in joy, and then went over to his desk on the other side of the room. He knocked away piles of junk until he found his phone.
“Wario?” he said into it. “How would you like to work for me again?”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Hiiiyyyaaa!!!” Mario and Lucario were currently fighting in the mountains. They had found a small clearing, surrounded on all sides by high cliffs, with two paths running east and west from the clearing. Around the edges were a few tall patches of grass, but other than that, it was completely empty. It was hard to get to, but it was very private, perfect for training. Mario dodged a shadow ball Lucario sent at him, and threw a fireball. Lucario easily dodged it and ran at Mario. Mario tried punching him, but Lucario used double team, and kicked Mario from behind.
“Nice one!” Lucas yelled from the side, getting a drink of water from one of those yellow and red coolers they always have at sports matches.
“I hate it when you do that!” complained Mario. He was sprawled on the ground and when he looked up he saw Lucario, who offered a paw to help him up.
“I know how to get up!” Mario said, and they went over to get a drink. The cooler lay on the ground, and there were plastic cups to the side.
“Yes, but you don’t know how to think of how to not be the best,” Lucario replied.
“I can think like that,” Mario said, taking a large drink of water, like someone might do at a bar when they’re trying to convince themselves of something.
“You had them take out the original first scenes of the emissary so that you would be the first character shown instead of Meta Knight. You almost wanted to leave when you were turned into a trophy and Kirby was revived instead of you,” Lucario replied.
“Ok, ok fine! But I’m still a better fighter,” Mario replied.
“You warmed up?” Lucas asked. “Then fight me! I’d bet you couldn’t do any damage on me!”
“Fine!” replied Mario, and the two went to the center of the clearing.
“Hopefully someone else will show up here soon, we need to train everyone,” Lucario muttered to himself.
Lucas and Mario got ready to fight, while Lucario watched. He knew that Mario was overconfident, but Lucas’ bet was somewhat hasty. Mario wasn’t bad when he had a reason to fight. Mario began by throwing out a few fireballs, which Lucas used to heal. Mario then ran at Lucas and punched, but Lucas was able to dodge all of Mario’s attacks. Lucas rolled out of the way and turned back to Mario.
“PK Fire!” Lucas called, and he sent a bolt at Mario. Mario sidestepped, and ran at Lucas. He punched, and was about to make contact when.
“PSI Counter!” Lucas yelled, and he countered Mario’s punch. Mario was hit and fell to the ground.
“Since when could you do that?” Mario asked.
But before Mario could get his answer, the three all heard footsteps.
“Who’s that?” Mario asked. It sounded like at least a hundred pairs of feet were advancing from the east. He went to look down the path, but Lucario pulled him away.
“It sounds like there are too many of them, they’re probably enemies,” Lucario reasoned. “Hide.” And all three dove behind separate clusters of grass.
Bowser led the way into the clearing, followed by his army.
“Man, am I tired!” he exclaimed, and he sat down on a flat rock. The army flooded into the clearing, and took up most of the space. There were a few complaints about not being able to move, but other then that it was quiet.
“What are you doing boss?” one goomba asked. “Why did you make us walk through all these mountains? Couldn’t we have gone the fast way?”
“Don’t you trust me? I have a perfectly good reason for going this way!” Bowser shouted back.
“What is it then?”
“We had to split up the army!”
The goomba was dissatisfied with the answer. “But why?”
“Because then we could attack Peach’s castle from all sides!”
“But when we get there now most of us will be tired!”
“Oh.” Bowser hadn’t thought of this. “Ah well it’ll work. It always does.” Bowser yawned from being tired, and none of the army wanted to tell him that it did not always work out, especially for Bowser. “Hey, there’s water!” Bowser had just noticed the water jug, and bent down to get some when he was hit by PK Fire. Lucas had jumped out of the bushes, and Mario and Lucario followed soon after.
A fight ensued, and the army seemed to be getting beat at first. Bowser did not know what was going on, and whenever he tried to attack the heroes he hurt his own army. Some of the army tried to run back the way they came, but they didn’t get very far.
Meanwhile, Mario Lucas and Lucario had defeated some of the army, but there was still a lot more goombas and koopas then they could handle.
“Let’s go down the east path,” Lucas told Mario and Lucario. “That way we won’t have to face as many at once.” Lucario smiled at this, and both followed Lucas down the path, but first, Lucario grabbed a few items and placed them every few feet along both sides of the path. The minions rushed after the 3 heroes, and none of them noticed the items. When Lucario ran out of items, the 3 turned around, and Lucario ordered Lucas and Mario to use an attack on the two closest items. So Lucas used PK Fire on the smart bomb to the left; Mario used a fireball on the one on the right.
A chain reaction began, and all of the minions were destroyed. But out of the dust came Bowser, holding his own laser gun. He shot an orange arrow at the trio, but missed all three.
“Bwahaha! There’s no way you can defeat me! And soon, Peach will be mine! Again… but this time you won’t be there to stop me!” Bowser yelled. But as he was about to shoot again, his tail was grabbed, and he was spun around a few times before finally sent flying towards Peach’s castle. The 3 looked to see who their savior was. They stared for a few seconds before saying anything.
“What?” Lucas broke the silence. Mario walked up to the newcomer as Lucas continued talking to Lucario. “I thought you said…”
“I know…I mean, I thought…” Lucario replied.
“Hi!” said Dr. Mario. He stood next to Mario, and Lucas and Lucario looked at the two.
“I thought…he was you…” Lucario stammered.
“Oh, I had to take care of some urgent calls in the Waffle Kingdom,” explained Dr. Mario…even though it explained little to the others.
“Well, whatever, glad you’re here to help,” Lucario said, shaking his head. He couldn’t get used to the idea there were two Marios. “Did you guys notice the weapon Bowser had?”
“Yeah, he’s working for Tabuu again,” Mario replied. “Big deal.”
“Not quite,” replied Lucario. “That weapon was orange, and so was the shot. Tabuu’s was light blue.”
“So he’s trying to get his own following, like Tabuu was,” reasoned Lucas.
“Yes,” replied Lucario. “We better go warn Mewtwo on one of the islands.”
“What about Peach?” Mario asked. “Bowser was after her, she’s in trouble.”
“Ok then, we’ll split up,” Lucario suggested.
“I’m going to warn Peach,” Mario and Dr. Mario said at the same time. Lucas tried to hold down a laugh while Lucario just looked more confused then ever.
“Ok, fine,” he said, sighing. “Lucas, let’s go find Mewtwo.”
Dr. Mario and Mario headed east towards Peach’s Castle, and Lucas and Lucario headed east, towards the islands. But to get there, they would have to head north too. And as they were leaving playing cards fell down from the sky.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Popo and Nana entered a cave in the Icy Mountains, and went to find their small refrigerator. Nana reached in and took out a thermos, one of many, and drank the hot chocolate.
“Why don’t we go and train?” Nana asked Popo, but he just sat down without an answer. “Popo?”
“We already have enough training, and Mewtwo said that he had everything under control.”
“I know, but something doesn’t feel right…Something bad is going to happen.”
“Everything will be fine.”
“But what if we are in another game? Shouldn’t we train for…?”
“NO! We don’t need to train with them!”
“You just want to keep me away from him don’t you?”
“No, that’s not it at all!”
“Yes it is!”
“Don’t you want to find our parents?” Popo asked.
“What?”
“Why don’t we go and look for our parents, they have to be somewhere around here.”
“But, we don’t even know if they’re our parents. All we have is this picture.” And Nana took out a photo of 4 people; 2 men and 2 women. Each woman was holding a baby (One baby was wrapped in blue blankets, the other in pink) and the man on the far left had his arm stretched towards the camera, and his hand could not be seen, so he must have been the one taking the picture. In the background there were two igloos and it was snowing.
Popo snatched the photo away from her, and then went to get a drink himself.
“Why aren’t you interested in looking for them anymore?” Popo asked.
“Because, we have other things to do right now.”
“Like what?”
“Saving the world!”
“Doesn’t family mean anything to you?”
“Don’t friends? And what about all the people you’ve never met? Are they less important?”
“Yes!”
“Look,” Nana said. “We agreed to be in Melee in hopes that our parents would find us. Same for Brawl. But they haven’t. Now there are more important things to be done. They can handle themselves. And right now we have to handle protecting the world.”
“But…what was that?” Popo asked, hearing a noise outside.
“I don’t get it! Why did Lord Bowser have to split up the army?”
“He said that we needed to make sure that part of the army makes it to attack Peach’s castle. So if we went in three different directions then it would be easier.”
“But what about the last section?”
“I don’t know what he did with it either!”
“And who did he go to meet in the city? I mean you don’t have to tell us everything, but…what’s that?” Fighting noises were heard outside, and a minute later, two figures came into the cave.
“Glad we got out of the cold,” one voice said. At that, Nana ran to the entrance. Popo followed, and they saw Lucas and Lucario. “Do you guys have a parka I could borrow?” Lucas asked, shivering.
“You should have one, right Popo?” Lucario asked mainly to see how Popo would respond. He was quiet for a second, so Nana piped up,
“I have an extra one; let me get it for you.”
Five minutes later, the four sat around a small table on small chairs drinking hot chocolate, and Lucas was wearing Nana’s yellow parka.
“So that’s how we got here,” finished Lucas.
“Well, looks like its time to go on another adventure,” Nana said, happy.
“But what about our parents?” Popo asked, taking out the picture.
“Is that them?” Lucas asked, trying to get a look at the picture. Popo pulled it away from him, but Nana took it and handed the picture to Lucas. “I can help you look for them.”
“But later,” Lucario said. “Sorry, but right now there might be another war on our hands.”
“Alright then,” Lucas said as they left the cave. “Let the adventure begin!”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mewtwo floated, cross legged, above a beach on Rebirth Island. With his eyes closed he tried to concentrate on sealing Tabuu, but found it hard.
“Must…destroy him…this will be the final chapter in his story…it must be, or it will be the final chapter in ours…I am the only one who has the power…is able…can seal him away once and for all…and yet…I can’t.”

Chapter 2: Through the Looking Glass
www.youtube.com/watch?v=byGvHq4IzgY&feature=related
Pit sat by the cauldron that he had watched the tournament on during the emissary, and when he saw Roy fighting.
“Got any 7’s?” He asked a centurion. He was playing go fish with 3 of them. He had been bored, being put on watch for Tabuu, and had run out of things to do. But then, the cauldron they were using lost its top, and the playing cards fell through.
Now, the image was of Mario, Dr. Mario, Lucario, and Lucas going in the 2 different directions.
“I better go help them!” Pit said, and grabbing his bow, he ran towards the door. But something made him stop. A scream he heard from the cauldron made him turn around and go back to check. He looked back into it, and saw Ganondorf leading his army of minions to attack a destroyed castle. All around there was barren wasteland, it looked like the castle Marth had been in during the emissary, but it wasn’t the same one. Outside of the castle was a small army, who were ready to fight, but did not have the numbers that Ganondorf did. Ganondorf stood at the back and watched as wave after wave of his minions went in for attack. Pit could see no commander and as he looked for one, the image changed to a map, which had a flashing dot, assumedly where the castle was. Pit knew that he was needed there, and jumped out of the doorway, and began to fly down.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As Pit flew down followed by centurions, he saw some keese, but all it took to defeat them were a few arrows. As he neared the ground, Pit saw that the battle had already started, and that the army defending the castle was unfamiliar with the enemies, and stood little chance. There was a group of about 5 or so off to the side, who were taking care of the enemies quite well. So Pit quickly took control of the rest.
“Listen up! The flying enemies are particularly weak to arrows, so archers, aim high! Swordsmen, get ready for the ground animals, they run quickly, but attack their stomachs when they pounce! Mages, try to attack any of the skeletons, they have no particular weakness, but it’s better if you attack from far away!” The battle began to turn for the better, and the group of 5 joined the larger army. Pit figured everything was under control there, so he was going to go and duel Ganondorf.
But then a shot flew past him, a black laser, and hit the soldier behind Pit. The eyes of the soldier were filled completely black. More shots were fired, and the members to the castle army began to fight against themselves. The black eyed ones were under Ganondorf’s control, and when they were attacked by their friends, the castle army did not know what to do. Pit began launching arrows to turn them good (which worked) but Ganondorf was shooting just as fast. A couple light mages in the army though, when they went to attack, were also able to turn the black eyed ones good again. Pit saw this, and yelled to them, “Keep doing that! Make sure they stay good! I’m going to try to take care of the problem!” Pit then flew towards Ganondorf.
“Hah,” Ganondorf said. “My first real victim.” He aimed at Pit as he flew forward, but Pit rolled to the side to avoid the shot. He landed and saw another ray coming at him. He took out his mirror shield, and angled it. When the ray hit the shield, it turned white, and hit a member of the castle army, making him good again.
“Nice trick,” Ganondorf scowled. “But let’s really fight.” Ganondorf took out his sword, and Pit split his bow. The two dueled, and neither seemed to get anywhere. Neither could land a hit on the other, and no one interfered. Pit would keep faking slashes, and then attacking with the other sword. Ganondorf blocked all these though, and he would attack back, only to have Pit dodge, and try to attack again. They were evenly matched, and had it not been for the castle army, it would have taken a lot longer to end the duel.
But a lightning bolt hit the ground between the two, and Ganondorf looked up to see that most of his army had been defeated. Ganondorf saw that he could not win with these odds, and ran with the rest of his army. Pit was about to shoot an arrow right at Ganondorf’s back, but then he remembered about the castle army. The healers took care of any of the wounded, and then the army began to form up into a line. Pit saw one person, a girl, walking in front of the line, checking who was there. He knelt down, and noticed a banner with the same emblem that was one the banners of Castle Siege in brawl. Pit got up and walked toward the army, and the girl who was out of the line came up to him.
“Thank you for your help, are you alright?”
“Yeah…” Pit replied, suddenly becoming self-conscious. “Don’t you want to know who I am? Aren’t you gonna ask about these?” He pointed to his wings.
“Don’t worry, we’re friends with the herons. But what kind of bow is that?”
“What’s a heron? Well look, my name is Pit.”
“So you’re not a heron?”
“What? No. I’m a member of Palutena’s army, Pit. And…do you know who you were fighting?”
“No…I was hoping you would know.”
“Yeah. And, well, it’s kind of a long story…” and Pit told the story of the Emissary and Tabuu’s Revenge to the castle army and his centurions.
“Wow…” was all the girl could say. None of the armies spoke. Then the girl said, “You guys are now off of your tour of duty, you can return home.” The army cheered. Pit then turned to his army. “You guys better go back, never know when the Goddess will need you.” The castle army started to walk away, and the centurions flew away. Pit then turned to see the girl still standing there.
“I’m going with you,” she said.
“What?” Pit asked. “I thought you said your tour of duty was up.”
“Nah, I was a mentor to them, so technically I have to keep training more groups. But I want to help you guys.”
“But, I have to warn you, it’s not going to be easy, and you might get hurt bad and…”
“Don’t worry, I’ve fought before.”
“Still…”
“Please…” the girl begged, and Pit couldn’t say no now. He sighed.
“Fine…We’ll go and try to find Mewtwo, he’ll know what to do.”
As they walked away, Pit turned to the girl.
“So, you never told me, what’s your name?”
“Micaiah.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pit and Micaiah walked towards the island district, and planned to go through the city, and then head northeast. But a little ways out from the city they grew hungry and found a place to eat.
“Crap…they’re everywhere,” Pit commented, looking at the golden arches of the McDonalds ‘M’.
“What’s a ‘McDonalds’?” Micaiah asked.
“It’s a fast food restaurant,” Pit replied, somewhat shocked she had never heard of it.
“What’s fast food?” Micaiah asked.
“You mean you’ve never had a hamburger before? Whatever…you’ll like it.” They went in, ordered a couple of Big Mac’s, and sat down to eat.
“and that’s Coke a Cola.” Pit finished, as Micaiah ate.
“Wow, this stuff is good,” Micaiah said. She looked out the window and saw another building. “Ohh I love puppies! Can we go over there?” She pointed to the Puppy Emporium.
“Sure, you can go over. I’ll be right there; I wanna get another drink to go.” So Micaiah left, and Pit went back up to the soda machine (free refills).
Pit walked up to the machine, smiled to himself and whispered, “This is gonna be a good day.” Then he looked at his choices.
“Hmm…I like Root Beer (starts to fill his cup). But Mountain Dew is good too. (fills it more with mountain dew). Dr. Pepper. And Sprite. And Pepsi.” Once he was done making his soda, he took a sip, smiled, and then went to leave when he saw a familiar face.
“Dedede? Is that you?” Pit asked, as the large penguin like thing entered McDonalds.
“Hi Pit, how’s it going? Oh, by the way, I wanted to ask you something.”
“What?”
“Do you want to join my army?”
“You mean to take over Dream World?”
“No, my army…that…well yeah.”
“I thought you already ruled there.”
“I do, but nobody really listens to me so I’m gonna initiate another hostile takeover.”
“Well, hostile takeovers aren’t that nice though.”
“Well, yeah, but if I didn’t ask I’d have to force you to join my army.” By now they had walked up to the counter and Dedede ordered a milkshake.
“And how would you do that?”
“Well…”
--------------------
I was lying on my bed, just looking up at the ceiling.
“Let’s see…what’s my newest plan to make people realize I’m king…” I took out some flashcards and read them. “Make a nation holiday in my honor…no…make my own videogame?...nah, only geeks play videogames…hey, what’s this?” I picked up a note card, and read what it said.
Dear King Dedede,
I heard you talking about needing new plans so some of us got you an early birthday present. It will help you add members to your army.
Sheyfe, the Waddle Dee.
“I LOVE BIRTHDAY PRESENTS!” I yelled, and ran down to the Christmas room. Since I love holidays I have a room for each one! So first I went through the New Year’s room, and then Valentine Room, and then St. Patrick’s Day, and Easter and 4th of July and Halloween and then finally Christmas.”
-----------------------------------------------
“What happened to Thanksgiving?” Pit asked.
“I don’t consider it a real holiday,” Dedede replied, eating his Big Mac in one gulp.
“Why?”
“All you do there is eat a lot and I always eat that much. And nobody thanked me for giving them anything.”
“Did you ever give anyone something?”
“Not the point. There was one present under the tree, and when I opened it, I saw a laser gun, like Tabuu’s but yellow on the side.”
“No way,” Pit said, stunned. He had a spaced out look on his face, realizing what was happening. “You can’t use that, it can’t be good. Ganondorf and Bowser already have them too, and I would bet that Wolf and Wario have them too…”
“Then I better start building an army,” Dedede said, taking out the gun. “Sorry.” He began to shoot at Pit, who returned fire while backing out of the restaurant.
“Micaiah!” he yelled running out of the store. He headed to the pet store, and began to look for her. But when he didn’t see her, he ran deeper into the store, in hopes that Dedede had not seen him.
“I see you!” Dedede yelled running in after Pit. Dedede began firing lasers everywhere, not caring who was hit.
“What’s going on?” Micaiah asked, finding Pit, who were both hiding behind a shelf.
“Dedede. He’s bad. Like Ganondorf.” Pit said. Then, Dedede shot a shelf knocking it over, and hitting a golden lab that had gotten loose. He was still a puppy and now had a cut along his side and was bleeding.
“Oh no,” Micaiah said, and ran over to heal him. Pit knew Dedede would see this, and ran at him, slashing at him. Pit nearly slashed the laser gun in half, so Dedede decided,
“I better get an army first, you’re going to be hard to capture.” He then left, and started float jumping away.
“Ok…so what exactly happened?” Pit asked as the store manager came out, and Micaiah came up to Pit holding up the puppy.
“Thanks for getting rid of that guy,” the manager said. “If you ever need anything, just ask.”
“How much is this puppy?” Micaiah asked.
“Don’t worry about it. You guys can have him for free,” the store manager said. “It’s just lucky you guys were here to help us.”
“That’s a great name! We’ll call him Lucky, ok?” Micaiah asked Pit. Pit nodded and smiled.
“So how long have you two been going out?” the manager asked Pit. Micaiah laughed, and the manager and Pit looked at her.
“We’re not going out,” she laughed. Pit’s smile faltered, and they walked out the door and headed towards the city, when they saw Meta Knight’s ship falling out of the sky, on fire, heading south.
“We better go help him, he’s a friend,” Pit said pointing to the ship. “Well go there right after we stop in the city.” And they walked towards the bright lights of the city, Micaiah in the lead, Lucky trailing her and waging his tail, and Pit just a step behind them.

Chapter 3 --- The Destruction of Pokemon Stadium 3
www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYWILAecX_Q
Pokemon Stadium 3 was not much of an improvement over Pokemon Stadium 2, but with a better scoreboard (in HD) and the floor of the main stage was blue, but other then that looked the same.
“WELCOME ONE AND ALL TO POKEMON STADIUM 3, FOR THE DOUBLES TOURNAMENT. IT HAS BEEN AN EXCITING DAY, AND NOW WE’RE AT THE SEMI FINALS. IN THIS FIRST MATCH, WE HAVE JON AND STACY, WHO HAVE ARE EXPERTS IN DOUBLES BATTLES, WINNING A RECORD 5 TOURNAMENTS. THEIR CHALLENGERS ONLY GO BY THEIR NICKNAMES, SO HERE ARE RED AND GREEN!”
Red walked out into the stadium and after a few steps turned and urged Green to come out into the stadium. She wasn’t big on being in front of everyone, in public, but she was urged by her friend to finally fight in a tournament. And he almost didn’t make it. He showed up only a few days before the tournament was supposed to begin, claiming he had been on some crazy adventure that took way too long.
“BEFORE THIS NEXT MATCH I WOULD LIKE TO ISSUE ANOTHER REMINDER, ONE OF THE VENDORS ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE STADIUM HAS LOST A CLEFAIRY DOLL. IT IS BELIEVED TO HAVE BEEN STOLEN. YOU CAN TELL IF IT IS BY THE EXTRA UNSOLD TAG STILL ON IT. IF YOU SEE IT, PLEASE RETURN THE DOLL OR REPORT IT TO THE NEAREST OFFICER JENNY. NOW WITHOUT FURTHER ADO, LETS BEGIN THE SEMI FINALS!”
“Squirtle!” Red called out, and he threw out his first pokemon.
“Vaporeon!” Green yelled.
“Gyrados!” Jon called.
“Electabuzz!” Stacy yelled.
“Tackle maneuver 2!” Red called, and Vaporeon charged at Electabuzz, and created a mist in front of it. As it jumped to tackle Electabuzz it disappeared into the mist, and Squirtle hit Electabuzz from behind.
“Return Gyrados!” Jon called. “Go Exeggutor!”
Green silently called back Vaporeon, and sent out Flareon.
“Exeggutor, razor leaf!” Exeggutor sent leaves at Squirtle, but Flareon lit them all on fire, so before they reached Squirtle, they had burnt to ash.
“Oh no folks, it looks like the stage is changing!” At this point the stage began to change, and everyone called back their pokemon. The symbol for poison turned up of the screen, and the floor dipped down, and was filled to the surface with poison. There were 3 platforms to stand on, arranged like the ones on battlefield, which were drop through.
“Venemoth!” Jon called.
“Muk!” Stacy called out.
“Charizard!” Red called out.
“Jolteon!” Green summoned.
“Shiek Needle Storm!” Red called out, a tactic he had thought of just at the beginning of the tournament. Charizard grabbed Jolteon, whose back was now towards the other pokemon. Charizard flew over the other pokemon, and Jolteon shot needles at them. The stage soon changed back to normal, but right after it did, something caused the first tournament at Pokemon Stadium 3 to never end.
Everyone heard a loud explosion over the stadium, and looked up at the clouds, including the fighting pokemon.
“What was that?” Red asked aloud.
--------------------------------------
Samus and Captain Falcon appeared at a hanger where they saw Samus’ starship.
“…And that’s how I won the Grand Prix for the 5th time,” Captain Falcon finished. They were going to do surveillance duty. Samus sighed as she got in; she was tired of hearing Captain Falcon brag all the time. As Falcon started on a new story and Samus began to fly the ship. She wasn’t really listening, but nodded every so often so it would look like she was. In reality she was thinking about Red. Recently she had begun to like him, and she was pretty sure he liked her back. But right now Samus was kind of dating Falcon, bringing up the problem.
“Hey,” Captain Falcon said. “Is something wrong? You look like you’re thinking about something else.”
“Yeah I’m fine,” Samus smiled. Even though Falcon did brag too much, he was very caring at times when he noticed something wrong. But most of the time he was incredibly oblivious.
“We should probably head down there, we should check out those ominous looking dark clouds.” Captain Falcon pointed out the clouds that were beginning to gather a little ways south. Samus looked towards the ground, and saw a stadium.
“Well, that’s convenient,” she whispered.
“What?”
“Nothing.” Just that Red is probably down there.
So she guided the ship south, and went into the clouds.
Neither could see anything, nor hear anything for that matter. After some time of being in the clouds, Falcon suggested. “Maybe it’s just rain clouds.” But then, there was a large explosion. The ship had been hit, and then more maroon laser beams were shot, all missing the ship.
“We gotta get out of here!” Samus yelled.
“What about the thing shooting at us?” Falcon asked.
“If we can’t see it, hopefully it can’t see us.” The ship began to fly back to the Space District, but a few lucky hits sent the ship crashing towards the stadium.
-------------------------------------
“Everyone get out of here!” yelled Red. The crowd began to leave. “Any trainers bring your pokemon here, we may need to fight. What Red had seen was this huge object falling out of the sky, right towards the stadium. No one could tell what it was but everyone knew it wasn’t good. Normally things falling out of the sky are bad. Green backed up, and moved closer to Red. The remaining trainers moved out of the way as the ship crashed into the middle of the stadium. Water pokemon began to put out the small fires that were burning on the ship, while the rest of the pokemon were ready to fight.
“Wait, stop, they’re friends!” Red had recognized the ship, and ran up to the pieces of metal that were moving, to help them out. Green walked forward a little, seeing that Red obviously thought it was safe.
“Who are they?” she asked as Red looked through the crashed ship.
“This is Samus’ ship, and she was supposed to be with Falcon,” Red replied, saying Falcon in disgust.
Green frowned. That meant two things. One: his story was true. Red had been on an amazing journey, without her. She felt kind of disappointed, since they had been friends since they were young, and did nearly everything together. She also wished she had believed him. Two: Samus was real. Red looked really worried, but also happy to know whose ship it was. She had heard stories about Samus from Red. Red talked about her a lot. And a lot. To the point she couldn’t stand it anymore.
Red first helped out Captain Falcon, who was dirty and had more then a few scratches from the crash landing. But still, Green saw he was muscular, just as Red had described (in an angry tone). Then, she saw Red helping out a woman. During the crash landing Samus’ power suit had been destroyed, as she was now in her Zero Suit. Green looked down at herself and then back at Samus.
“Crap,” she said. She looked around, and all the other boy trainers were looking at Samus, the girl trainers were rolling their eyes and trying to get the boys to look away.
“Nothing to see here, time to go,” Samus told all of the trainers. She smiled at Red, and they walked into a clear area of the stadium.
“Did you see what as shooting at us?” Samus asked, and she, Red, Falcon and Green all looked up to the sky, and saw no one, and the clouds had disappeared. (by this time the other trainers had left).
“We should go tell Mewtwo,” Red said.
“Do you know where he is?” Captain Falcon asked. No one did.
“Maybe someone else will know,” Green suggested.
“Yeah, we could get my ship and find some of the others,” Captain Falcon said.
“Great! Just call it and we’ll be on our way,” Samus said.
“Umm…funny story about that,” Captain Falcon started. “You see…I kinda left the calling remote in the car.” Everyone else sighed in disappointment, their heads went down a few inches, and a drop of water appeared on their heads like they do in pokemon shows.
“Then we’ll have to walk,” Red said.
“Ok, it’s parked in my hanger, follow me,” Captain Falcon said. He led them out of the stadium and to the north.
-------------------------------
After walking for some time, Captain Falcon had gotten bored, and asked, “Any of you guys want to hear my story about how I won my 50th race?”
“NO!” Red and Samus said at the same time. They had both heard the story multiple times, something like knocking everyone else off the course, and having help from two kids or something… But when they said it, Samus and Red looked at each other, and smiled. Green saw this and glared; Red saw her and then looked away and holding his head as if to say, ‘aw crap this is awkward’.
“Sure I’d love to hear it,” Green said, and looked for Red’s reaction. He looked back at her with an expression that said, ‘wtf him? You just met him, how can…?’ Green smiled. She would be able to use that knowledge later. Samus though, saw this and asked herself, What does he see in her?”
“Ok,” Captain Falcon replied, oblivious to what was going on. After his story ended, they decided to stop and rest.
Everyone glared at each other, aside from Captain Falcon, who didn’t know anything of the who likes who within the group. But it was a tense sitting.
“Can I have some water?” Captain Fsalcon asked, breaking the silence.
“Sure,” Green replied sweetly. She reached into her bag, past a Clefairy doll with one too many tags on it, and pulled out a bottle of water.
“Are we close?” Red asked.
“Yep,” Captain Falcon said, and he led them up a hill. “This is the space district.” Red and Green looked in awe as they saw futuristic city, with hovercars, spaceships, and everything else they had only imagined.
Then they saw Arwings, followed by some Wolfens heading north. It seemed to be a chase.

Chapter 4: Honor
www.youtube.com/watch?v=oic6wAnSX6o&feature=related
It was a large circular room, as tall as a skyscraper. On all sides of the room were doors, with walkways connecting the doors. At the bottom there was a pool of water, with a walkway that was 3-4 feet wide around it. Near the top, a lone walkway led up to a circular platform, on which a gigantic bird like creature rested. The creature was very temperamental, so when the space pirate walked up there, he did the best to keep quiet. But it was a metal walkway, and since he was wearing a metal suit, it was futile. The space pirate walked unsteadily, as if he was drunk, up to the top platform, somehow not waking the bird. He placed the package next to it, and began to walk away, but because of the way he walked, he fell over the edge of the platform. In the air the space pirate put his arms out, and seemed more comfortable then when he was walking. Eventually he landed in the pool of water below, making a big splash in the process, and began flapping his arms around. As other space pirates gathered around the pool of water and went to help, the bird awoke, and saw the package next to it. It began to read the attached note.
Dear Ridley,
Some of the space pirates and I were working on a project; hopefully you will pleased with our work. Good luck on expanding our army.
Srouroa, the space pirate.
Ridley stretched his wings, and began to open the package. When he finally finished, he saw a ray gun, like all of the other’s, but on the side it was maroon. He decided to try it out, and so he flew out of his lair, and searched for his prey. He first saw Samus’ ship, so he tried to hide in the clouds and shoot them down. But when he did, he spotted larger prey to go after. (I will not describe what happened to Samus and Falcon again, but please read the previous chapter.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Meta Knight was steering his ship around the forest district, going to look for anything out of place.
“Of course I have surveillance duty again,” Meta Knight muttered to himself. “I signed up for it, but you’d think someone could come with me and help, but noooo….” Meta Knight’s ship shook, and Meta Knight began making his way to the top of the ship. “Finally some action.”
On the top of the ship, Meta Knight saw a humongous bird, shooting maroon lasers at the ship. Drawing his sword, the fight began.
Meta Knight jumped in the air and slashed at Ridley as the bird dodged out of range. Ridley took shots at Meta Knight, which Meta Knight dodged with his cape. Meta Knight swung his sword, and a lightning bolt came off the end of his sword, which barely missed Ridley.
Ridley began to get tired of playing with this prey, and so decided to leave and do whatever else he fancied. But before he left, Ridley took another couple shots, and hit a critical part of the ship, causing it to begin to plummet to the earth. Meta Knight walked to the bow of the ship (still on top of it) and looked down at the ground, ready for death.
“A captain always goes down…” Meta Knight began, but as the ship neared its impact, Meta Knight felt a cold metal grip on him, and he was pulled from the ship. He struggled as he was pulled towards a tree, and broke free. After landing on the ground he turned to his ship, to see it burst into flames.
“Fool,” Meta Knight said, looking at the ground. Although he heard a soft thud on the ground, and knew who was walking up behind him, Meta Knight did not turn around.
“Are you alright?” Young Link asked. “Why didn’t you try to get off?”
“What is the use?!?” Meta Knight screamed at him. Ravens, hearing the yell, flew out of the trees, startled.
“…You wanted to crash?” Young Link asked after a small pause, confused.
“Yes. So far I have already had my ship stolen, and now it is destroyed. And a captain goes down with his ship.”
“But that’s stupid!”
“NO IT IS NOT! DOES NO ONE UNDERSTAND HONOR ANYMORE?!?”
“Well, too bad, you’re alive. But what made you crash?” Young Link asked, angry he did not at least get a thank you.
“Well…” and Meta Knight told of the battle with Ridley.
“Ok, well, we better alert everyone else,” Young Link said who then turned south and began to walk.
“What do you mean we?” Meta Knight asked, not moving.
“Don’t you want to tell everyone?”
“NO. What have they ever done for me?”
“Well, they were kind to you…”
“They were a load of trouble.”
“But look at all your new friends…”
“I have no friends. I’m better off alone.” Meta Knight turned. “I’m going to leave.”
Young Link had a solemn look on his face. “No you won’t. You know it’s not right. Now let’s go.” Young Link headed south, and after about 20 paces looked back to see Meta Knight following.
“Where are we going?” Meta Knight asked.
“A cabin. We need some food, and I saw one a bit south from here.”
They traveled the rest of the trip in silence. When they finally reached the cabin, both were thirsty and hungry. No light came through the trees, and the only light was from a few torches by the door of the house.
“Hmm…nice and inviting,” Meta Knight commented sarcastically. “I’ll wait out here. He leaned up against a wall of the building.
“What?!?” Young Link asked, slightly unnerved. He did not want to go in a creepy cabin in the woods. But it was the only place nearby that might have food. So Young Link went in.
Inside the house it was dark, again with only a few torches to light the places. There was a kitchen area, a bed, and a table to eat at. And of course, the little girl stirring a green bubbling liquid in a cauldron. Everything was decorated in reds and black, including the bedspread, curtain, and the rug. Young Link was “slightly” more unnerved by this, and the fact that the door had swung shut of its own accord when he entered, but after a minute got up the courage to ask,
“Umm…hi…uh….d…d’you mind if I borrow some food? Me and my…”
“How do you give back borrowed food?” the girl asked, not looking up.
“Well…I…I mean…is that no?”
The girl did not respond.
“If you don’t say anything I’ll take it as a yes.”
Still no response.
Young Link walked up to the refrigerator, and took out two bottles of water (drawn on with black sharpie) Trail Mix, and a couple apples. He went over to the table, put a blue rupee on it, and headed to the door. “Umm…It won’t open.”
The girl then got up, walked over to the table and inspected the rupee. “What’s this?”
“A rupee…money,” Young Link explained further when he received a blank stare.
“You’re paying me? And you’re taking that little food?”
“Well, uhh, yeah…why?”
“You aren’t going to take advantage of me or bully me?”
“No, why would I do that?”
“All of the other guys who wander the forest and stop here did that.”
“Look…can I just go?”
“Where are you going?”
“To find some friends…cause there…”
“Can I come?”
“What?!?” Young Link was caught off guard by this question.
“It’s boring here, and I want to do something besides study magic.”
“Well, I guess sure…”
“Great! Let me pack.” She headed back to the cauldron to get something. “Can you get my suitcase from under the bed? But don’t look in it.” Young Link took out the suitcase, put it on the bed, and started to unlatch it, but the girl was suddenly behind him, with an angry look on her face.
“I said don’t open it.” Young Link took a few steps back, his hands up, still unsure of the girl. She then waved her wand, and the suitcase opened, and everything started to fly into it. Young Link watched in amazement as the last thing, the bed, flew (and shrunk) into it, with the suitcase falling onto the empty floor. The suitcase then shrunk, which the girl picked up and put into her pocket. She led the way out of the house.
“So…what’s your name again? I’m Young Link.” Young Link asked.
“It’s Ashley,” she simply replied.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Snake…Snake…do you copy?”
“<sigh> What is it now?”
“A certain ‘Captain Olimar’ is in danger and we need…”
“Ahh, those Nintendo freaks again. When are they gonna learn to look after themselves? I suppose I have to save him?”
“Yes. We’ll give you his location now.”
“…I really need to get better assignments.”
<END TRANSMISSION>
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Olimar was being held captive in some foreign factory, one that seemed familiar but yet, different. He could not put his finger on it, but he felt like he had been there before. There were some space pirates guarding him, but they had on weird, funky new suits which he could not describe. And they were short. (well, he wasn’t one to talk, but…).
“Travel log…” he said to a recorder. “It’s been nearly 1 day. I have been given no food or water, and wonder how much longer I can survive. I…” There was an explosion, and the space pirates guarding the door fell to the ground. The hologram door disappeared (it was more like a maroon sheet of glass, which he could not pass through.) and in stepped Snake.
“Quick. Let’s go.” Snake led the way, and the two fought their way out. After a while it became easier, as the pirates could not find anyone to give them orders, and so they ran around like chickens without heads.
“Through this vent,” Snake called, and he slid down a vent whose cover was off, and Olimar followed. After sliding for about a 15 seconds, they landed in a large underground pipe.
“Follow me, the way out is south,” Snake said, not turning around.
“Ohh, uhh, by the way, thanks for helping me,” Olimar said.
“Yeah whatever, just don’t do anything stupid again.” They walked in silence for some time, but before they had reached the exit, they met some space pirates, who were blocking their way, the space pirates advanced, and so did Snake, when a person appeared between them.
“Kooloo-Limpah!” he said, and the pirates suddenly sprouted flowers on their heads. They continued to be hurt, and eventually fainted on the ground. Snake and Olimar looked at this newcomer, but couldn’t figure out what to say. Finally, Snake broke the silence.
“…What the f*** are you?”
“I’m Tingle!”
“Again…What the f*** are you?”
“I’m Tingle!”
“…ok I’m leaving.” Snake continued on towards the exit, with Olimar following close behind. After a minute Snake looked back, though, and saw Tingle still following them.
“Now,” Snake said, finding a ladder, “let’s get outta here.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Diddy and Kirby were walking through a forest, looking for something to do.
“Soo…,” said Diddy. “What do you want to do?”
“I don’t know what do you want to do?”
“I don’t know what do you want to do?”
“I just said that.”
“So what do you want to do?”
“Hey! It’s two new pokemon!”
“What’d you say?”
“And they can talk?!?”
“I didn’t say anything what’d you say?”
“Go, Totodile!”
Kirby and Diddy turned to see a trainer throw out a pokeball, and a blue alligator (or crocodile) pop out.
“Looks like we better fight,” Kirby said. And the battle began. Totodile used water gun on them, but both dodged, then, Diddy and Kirby surrounded him, and Kirby used his final cutter while Diddy took out his popgun. But before either hit…
“What?!? They’re working together? Return! Now, go…Bayleef and Typhlosion!” The two Pokémon came out, ready for battle.
Kirby inhaled Bayleef and spit him out, gaining a leaf on his head.
“Is that the pre-evolved Ditto?” the trainer asked. Before the battle could go any further though, some space pirates appeared.
“What are they?” the trainer asked.
“I don’t know, but we’ve gotta fight them,” said Kirby, who ran at the pirates.
“Oh, and by the way,” Diddy said from behind the trainer. Diddy jumped on the kid’s head, and looked him in the eyes. A second later, Diddy jumped off, saying, “We’re not Pokémon.”
Kirby and Diddy took care of the pirates, and then turned to the trainer, who was still there.
“Umm…what just happened?”
“We’ll tell you all about it,” Kirby said, and they explained everything about the emissary and Tabuu’s Revenge.
“Wow. That’s incredible. But wait. You mentioned a trainer named Red? I know someone who…” But the new trainer was interrupted by the sound of someone running towards them. Actually a lot of someones. Diddy went to check, and then came back.
“It’s more of those things!” he reported.
“Then we better go!” Kirby said, and he led them away from the pirates. “So what’s your name?”
“Gold.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Young Link led Meta Knight and Ashley towards the city. Nobody spoke for the longest time, until Young Link tried to break the silence again.
“So…umm, what were you doing in that cabin?”
“What do you care?” Ashley asked.
“I…I was just wondering. Jeez.” They walked on for another minute in silence.
“I was practicing magic,” Ashley randomly said.
“Really? You can do magic?” Young Link asked.
“Yeah. I’ve been training since I was young. But I needed a quiet place to work. So I went to a random forest and found a cabin. But so much for having quiet. Lots of lost people showed up, and they were all jerks. One of the people who stopped even tried to hit on me. The loser.” Then, right in front of them in the path, part of the grass lifted up to reveal a manhole, and 3 people climbed out of it. Also, they heard footsteps from another direction, and saw 3 more people enter the pathway.
“You!” Ashley and Gold yelled at the same time.
“Fairy boy!” yelled Tingle. Young Link moaned.
“Fairy boy?!?” Snake burst into laughter. “You know him!”
“Look, we need to go, some people were chasing us,” Kirby said.
“That can’t be good,” Olimar replied.
Everyone though, stopped talking as the sky flashed red and all looked up.
“And neither can that,” Meta Knight said.
Ganondorf entered his castle, and took off his cape.
“I can’t believe I was tricked by him…again!” Ganondorf complained, throwing his cape onto a Bokoblin, who went to put it away. He climbed up to his bedroom, of course in the tallest tower.
“Why did I have to put in so many stairs?” he wondered aloud, finally making it to the top. He unlocked the door, and plopped down onto his bed to rest. He sighed.
“I haven’t had a good plan in a long time, and last time I just used that crazy guy (Zant) as a last resort. Hey…what’s that?” Ganondorf had looked over to his desk, which had something wrapped on top. He opened it, and found inside what looked like the trophy gun from the emissary, but he knew it was one of the laser guns. It was all black, with the coloring on the side black too, instead of blue.
Ganondorf smiled. Then, he looked at the note next to it.
Dear Ganondorf, King of Evil, King of the Gerudo, Wielder of the Triforce of Power, Deserving King of Hyrule, owner of the Triforce and all surrounding lands,
Your ingenious idea to copy the trophy gun of Tabuu was finally successful. Also, due to your description of the ray gun, we have modified it so that you will be able to use it to acquire unwilling enemies to become part of your army, who will then do whatever you wish. Thank you for your confidence in me and the others you put in charge of this project.
Gharmit, the Deku scrub.
Ganondorf smiled once more. “I knew this would work. Most of my army would not be smart enough to make this, but by taking the smartest of them, I knew there would be a chance. So I had them work on this, day and night. NOW I CAN CREATE THE MOST POWERFUL ARMY IN THE WORLD BY MAKING THE HEROES JOIN MY ARMY! Why did I just say that out loud?”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bowser sulked into his castle, which was modeled like the one from Super Mario RPG, exhausted from the last journey. He could not believe that he had been manipulated once more. He had a servant bring him a Chuckola Cola, which he brought downstairs to his lava tub. It looked like a room that would ordinarily hold an Olympic sized swimming pool. Except the pool was circular and filled with lava. He had been resting there for less then 5 minutes when a paratroopa flew in.
“You have a letter, Mr. King Bowser,” the Paratroopa said.
Bowser sighed. “Thanks…what is it? Another electric bill? Did I forget to renew my subscription to The National Enquirer? I got some great ideas from them.” Bowser looked off into space. “Good times, good times.” Then, he opened the letter.
Dear King Bowser,
We did it! Remember when you told some of us to spy on Ganondorf? Well ,we saw his minions working on a ray gun like Tabuu used against you. So we stole the plans. I was the only one to make it out alive though…go I got some help and made you a present. It will be up on your bed.
Drimip, the Koopa.
“I told them to spy on Ganondorf?” Bowser asked out loud. “I guess I did. Wait. I need to go see that present!” Bowser jumped out of his tub and ran towards the stairs when he remembered something. He turned around, and ran back towards the pool.
The messenger hoped that he remembered the customary tip of one coin. But to his dismay, Bowser picked up his soda and then ran upstairs.
Bowser entered his messy bedroom, which he would get around to cleaning “sometime”. It had dressers and a bed and a poster for “The Goombas: mushroom kingdom tour”. Everything was green orange or black, with horns as decorations at the corner of his bed, etc. On the bed was a brown package. Bowser ripped through it and found a ray gun, but with the side color being orange. Bowser shouted in joy, and then went over to his desk on the other side of the room. He knocked away piles of junk until he found his phone.
“Wario?” he said into it. “How would you like to work for me again?”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Hiiiyyyaaa!!!” Mario and Lucario were currently fighting in the mountains. They had found a small clearing, surrounded on all sides by high cliffs, with two paths running east and west from the clearing. Around the edges were a few tall patches of grass, but other than that, it was completely empty. It was hard to get to, but it was very private, perfect for training. Mario dodged a shadow ball Lucario sent at him, and threw a fireball. Lucario easily dodged it and ran at Mario. Mario tried punching him, but Lucario used double team, and kicked Mario from behind.
“Nice one!” Lucas yelled from the side, getting a drink of water from one of those yellow and red coolers they always have at sports matches.
“I hate it when you do that!” complained Mario. He was sprawled on the ground and when he looked up he saw Lucario, who offered a paw to help him up.
“I know how to get up!” Mario said, and they went over to get a drink. The cooler lay on the ground, and there were plastic cups to the side.
“Yes, but you don’t know how to think of how to not be the best,” Lucario replied.
“I can think like that,” Mario said, taking a large drink of water, like someone might do at a bar when they’re trying to convince themselves of something.
“You had them take out the original first scenes of the emissary so that you would be the first character shown instead of Meta Knight. You almost wanted to leave when you were turned into a trophy and Kirby was revived instead of you,” Lucario replied.
“Ok, ok fine! But I’m still a better fighter,” Mario replied.
“You warmed up?” Lucas asked. “Then fight me! I’d bet you couldn’t do any damage on me!”
“Fine!” replied Mario, and the two went to the center of the clearing.
“Hopefully someone else will show up here soon, we need to train everyone,” Lucario muttered to himself.
Lucas and Mario got ready to fight, while Lucario watched. He knew that Mario was overconfident, but Lucas’ bet was somewhat hasty. Mario wasn’t bad when he had a reason to fight. Mario began by throwing out a few fireballs, which Lucas used to heal. Mario then ran at Lucas and punched, but Lucas was able to dodge all of Mario’s attacks. Lucas rolled out of the way and turned back to Mario.
“PK Fire!” Lucas called, and he sent a bolt at Mario. Mario sidestepped, and ran at Lucas. He punched, and was about to make contact when.
“PSI Counter!” Lucas yelled, and he countered Mario’s punch. Mario was hit and fell to the ground.
“Since when could you do that?” Mario asked.
But before Mario could get his answer, the three all heard footsteps.
“Who’s that?” Mario asked. It sounded like at least a hundred pairs of feet were advancing from the east. He went to look down the path, but Lucario pulled him away.
“It sounds like there are too many of them, they’re probably enemies,” Lucario reasoned. “Hide.” And all three dove behind separate clusters of grass.
Bowser led the way into the clearing, followed by his army.
“Man, am I tired!” he exclaimed, and he sat down on a flat rock. The army flooded into the clearing, and took up most of the space. There were a few complaints about not being able to move, but other then that it was quiet.
“What are you doing boss?” one goomba asked. “Why did you make us walk through all these mountains? Couldn’t we have gone the fast way?”
“Don’t you trust me? I have a perfectly good reason for going this way!” Bowser shouted back.
“What is it then?”
“We had to split up the army!”
The goomba was dissatisfied with the answer. “But why?”
“Because then we could attack Peach’s castle from all sides!”
“But when we get there now most of us will be tired!”
“Oh.” Bowser hadn’t thought of this. “Ah well it’ll work. It always does.” Bowser yawned from being tired, and none of the army wanted to tell him that it did not always work out, especially for Bowser. “Hey, there’s water!” Bowser had just noticed the water jug, and bent down to get some when he was hit by PK Fire. Lucas had jumped out of the bushes, and Mario and Lucario followed soon after.
A fight ensued, and the army seemed to be getting beat at first. Bowser did not know what was going on, and whenever he tried to attack the heroes he hurt his own army. Some of the army tried to run back the way they came, but they didn’t get very far.
Meanwhile, Mario Lucas and Lucario had defeated some of the army, but there was still a lot more goombas and koopas then they could handle.
“Let’s go down the east path,” Lucas told Mario and Lucario. “That way we won’t have to face as many at once.” Lucario smiled at this, and both followed Lucas down the path, but first, Lucario grabbed a few items and placed them every few feet along both sides of the path. The minions rushed after the 3 heroes, and none of them noticed the items. When Lucario ran out of items, the 3 turned around, and Lucario ordered Lucas and Mario to use an attack on the two closest items. So Lucas used PK Fire on the smart bomb to the left; Mario used a fireball on the one on the right.
A chain reaction began, and all of the minions were destroyed. But out of the dust came Bowser, holding his own laser gun. He shot an orange arrow at the trio, but missed all three.
“Bwahaha! There’s no way you can defeat me! And soon, Peach will be mine! Again… but this time you won’t be there to stop me!” Bowser yelled. But as he was about to shoot again, his tail was grabbed, and he was spun around a few times before finally sent flying towards Peach’s castle. The 3 looked to see who their savior was. They stared for a few seconds before saying anything.
“What?” Lucas broke the silence. Mario walked up to the newcomer as Lucas continued talking to Lucario. “I thought you said…”
“I know…I mean, I thought…” Lucario replied.
“Hi!” said Dr. Mario. He stood next to Mario, and Lucas and Lucario looked at the two.
“I thought…he was you…” Lucario stammered.
“Oh, I had to take care of some urgent calls in the Waffle Kingdom,” explained Dr. Mario…even though it explained little to the others.
“Well, whatever, glad you’re here to help,” Lucario said, shaking his head. He couldn’t get used to the idea there were two Marios. “Did you guys notice the weapon Bowser had?”
“Yeah, he’s working for Tabuu again,” Mario replied. “Big deal.”
“Not quite,” replied Lucario. “That weapon was orange, and so was the shot. Tabuu’s was light blue.”
“So he’s trying to get his own following, like Tabuu was,” reasoned Lucas.
“Yes,” replied Lucario. “We better go warn Mewtwo on one of the islands.”
“What about Peach?” Mario asked. “Bowser was after her, she’s in trouble.”
“Ok then, we’ll split up,” Lucario suggested.
“I’m going to warn Peach,” Mario and Dr. Mario said at the same time. Lucas tried to hold down a laugh while Lucario just looked more confused then ever.
“Ok, fine,” he said, sighing. “Lucas, let’s go find Mewtwo.”
Dr. Mario and Mario headed east towards Peach’s Castle, and Lucas and Lucario headed east, towards the islands. But to get there, they would have to head north too. And as they were leaving playing cards fell down from the sky.
Popo and Nana entered a cave in the Icy Mountains, and went to find their small refrigerator. Nana reached in and took out a thermos, one of many, and drank the hot chocolate.
“Why don’t we go and train?” Nana asked Popo, but he just sat down without an answer. “Popo?”
“We already have enough training, and Mewtwo said that he had everything under control.”
“I know, but something doesn’t feel right…Something bad is going to happen.”
“Everything will be fine.”
“But what if we are in another game? Shouldn’t we train for…?”
“NO! We don’t need to train with them!”
“You just want to keep me away from him don’t you?”
“No, that’s not it at all!”
“Yes it is!”
“Don’t you want to find our parents?” Popo asked.
“What?”
“Why don’t we go and look for our parents, they have to be somewhere around here.”
“But, we don’t even know if they’re our parents. All we have is this picture.” And Nana took out a photo of 4 people; 2 men and 2 women. Each woman was holding a baby (One baby was wrapped in blue blankets, the other in pink) and the man on the far left had his arm stretched towards the camera, and his hand could not be seen, so he must have been the one taking the picture. In the background there were two igloos and it was snowing.
Popo snatched the photo away from her, and then went to get a drink himself.
“Why aren’t you interested in looking for them anymore?” Popo asked.
“Because, we have other things to do right now.”
“Like what?”
“Saving the world!”
“Doesn’t family mean anything to you?”
“Don’t friends? And what about all the people you’ve never met? Are they less important?”
“Yes!”
“Look,” Nana said. “We agreed to be in Melee in hopes that our parents would find us. Same for Brawl. But they haven’t. Now there are more important things to be done. They can handle themselves. And right now we have to handle protecting the world.”
“But…what was that?” Popo asked, hearing a noise outside.
“I don’t get it! Why did Lord Bowser have to split up the army?”
“He said that we needed to make sure that part of the army makes it to attack Peach’s castle. So if we went in three different directions then it would be easier.”
“But what about the last section?”
“I don’t know what he did with it either!”
“And who did he go to meet in the city? I mean you don’t have to tell us everything, but…what’s that?” Fighting noises were heard outside, and a minute later, two figures came into the cave.
“Glad we got out of the cold,” one voice said. At that, Nana ran to the entrance. Popo followed, and they saw Lucas and Lucario. “Do you guys have a parka I could borrow?” Lucas asked, shivering.
“You should have one, right Popo?” Lucario asked mainly to see how Popo would respond. He was quiet for a second, so Nana piped up,
“I have an extra one; let me get it for you.”
Five minutes later, the four sat around a small table on small chairs drinking hot chocolate, and Lucas was wearing Nana’s yellow parka.
“So that’s how we got here,” finished Lucas.
“Well, looks like its time to go on another adventure,” Nana said, happy.
“But what about our parents?” Popo asked, taking out the picture.
“Is that them?” Lucas asked, trying to get a look at the picture. Popo pulled it away from him, but Nana took it and handed the picture to Lucas. “I can help you look for them.”
“But later,” Lucario said. “Sorry, but right now there might be another war on our hands.”
“Alright then,” Lucas said as they left the cave. “Let the adventure begin!”
Mewtwo floated, cross legged, above a beach on Rebirth Island. With his eyes closed he tried to concentrate on sealing Tabuu, but found it hard.
“Must…destroy him…this will be the final chapter in his story…it must be, or it will be the final chapter in ours…I am the only one who has the power…is able…can seal him away once and for all…and yet…I can’t.”
Chapter 2: Through the Looking Glass
www.youtube.com/watch?v=byGvHq4IzgY&feature=related
Pit sat by the cauldron that he had watched the tournament on during the emissary, and when he saw Roy fighting.
“Got any 7’s?” He asked a centurion. He was playing go fish with 3 of them. He had been bored, being put on watch for Tabuu, and had run out of things to do. But then, the cauldron they were using lost its top, and the playing cards fell through.
Now, the image was of Mario, Dr. Mario, Lucario, and Lucas going in the 2 different directions.
“I better go help them!” Pit said, and grabbing his bow, he ran towards the door. But something made him stop. A scream he heard from the cauldron made him turn around and go back to check. He looked back into it, and saw Ganondorf leading his army of minions to attack a destroyed castle. All around there was barren wasteland, it looked like the castle Marth had been in during the emissary, but it wasn’t the same one. Outside of the castle was a small army, who were ready to fight, but did not have the numbers that Ganondorf did. Ganondorf stood at the back and watched as wave after wave of his minions went in for attack. Pit could see no commander and as he looked for one, the image changed to a map, which had a flashing dot, assumedly where the castle was. Pit knew that he was needed there, and jumped out of the doorway, and began to fly down.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As Pit flew down followed by centurions, he saw some keese, but all it took to defeat them were a few arrows. As he neared the ground, Pit saw that the battle had already started, and that the army defending the castle was unfamiliar with the enemies, and stood little chance. There was a group of about 5 or so off to the side, who were taking care of the enemies quite well. So Pit quickly took control of the rest.
“Listen up! The flying enemies are particularly weak to arrows, so archers, aim high! Swordsmen, get ready for the ground animals, they run quickly, but attack their stomachs when they pounce! Mages, try to attack any of the skeletons, they have no particular weakness, but it’s better if you attack from far away!” The battle began to turn for the better, and the group of 5 joined the larger army. Pit figured everything was under control there, so he was going to go and duel Ganondorf.
But then a shot flew past him, a black laser, and hit the soldier behind Pit. The eyes of the soldier were filled completely black. More shots were fired, and the members to the castle army began to fight against themselves. The black eyed ones were under Ganondorf’s control, and when they were attacked by their friends, the castle army did not know what to do. Pit began launching arrows to turn them good (which worked) but Ganondorf was shooting just as fast. A couple light mages in the army though, when they went to attack, were also able to turn the black eyed ones good again. Pit saw this, and yelled to them, “Keep doing that! Make sure they stay good! I’m going to try to take care of the problem!” Pit then flew towards Ganondorf.
“Hah,” Ganondorf said. “My first real victim.” He aimed at Pit as he flew forward, but Pit rolled to the side to avoid the shot. He landed and saw another ray coming at him. He took out his mirror shield, and angled it. When the ray hit the shield, it turned white, and hit a member of the castle army, making him good again.
“Nice trick,” Ganondorf scowled. “But let’s really fight.” Ganondorf took out his sword, and Pit split his bow. The two dueled, and neither seemed to get anywhere. Neither could land a hit on the other, and no one interfered. Pit would keep faking slashes, and then attacking with the other sword. Ganondorf blocked all these though, and he would attack back, only to have Pit dodge, and try to attack again. They were evenly matched, and had it not been for the castle army, it would have taken a lot longer to end the duel.
But a lightning bolt hit the ground between the two, and Ganondorf looked up to see that most of his army had been defeated. Ganondorf saw that he could not win with these odds, and ran with the rest of his army. Pit was about to shoot an arrow right at Ganondorf’s back, but then he remembered about the castle army. The healers took care of any of the wounded, and then the army began to form up into a line. Pit saw one person, a girl, walking in front of the line, checking who was there. He knelt down, and noticed a banner with the same emblem that was one the banners of Castle Siege in brawl. Pit got up and walked toward the army, and the girl who was out of the line came up to him.
“Thank you for your help, are you alright?”
“Yeah…” Pit replied, suddenly becoming self-conscious. “Don’t you want to know who I am? Aren’t you gonna ask about these?” He pointed to his wings.
“Don’t worry, we’re friends with the herons. But what kind of bow is that?”
“What’s a heron? Well look, my name is Pit.”
“So you’re not a heron?”
“What? No. I’m a member of Palutena’s army, Pit. And…do you know who you were fighting?”
“No…I was hoping you would know.”
“Yeah. And, well, it’s kind of a long story…” and Pit told the story of the Emissary and Tabuu’s Revenge to the castle army and his centurions.
“Wow…” was all the girl could say. None of the armies spoke. Then the girl said, “You guys are now off of your tour of duty, you can return home.” The army cheered. Pit then turned to his army. “You guys better go back, never know when the Goddess will need you.” The castle army started to walk away, and the centurions flew away. Pit then turned to see the girl still standing there.
“I’m going with you,” she said.
“What?” Pit asked. “I thought you said your tour of duty was up.”
“Nah, I was a mentor to them, so technically I have to keep training more groups. But I want to help you guys.”
“But, I have to warn you, it’s not going to be easy, and you might get hurt bad and…”
“Don’t worry, I’ve fought before.”
“Still…”
“Please…” the girl begged, and Pit couldn’t say no now. He sighed.
“Fine…We’ll go and try to find Mewtwo, he’ll know what to do.”
As they walked away, Pit turned to the girl.
“So, you never told me, what’s your name?”
“Micaiah.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pit and Micaiah walked towards the island district, and planned to go through the city, and then head northeast. But a little ways out from the city they grew hungry and found a place to eat.
“Crap…they’re everywhere,” Pit commented, looking at the golden arches of the McDonalds ‘M’.
“What’s a ‘McDonalds’?” Micaiah asked.
“It’s a fast food restaurant,” Pit replied, somewhat shocked she had never heard of it.
“What’s fast food?” Micaiah asked.
“You mean you’ve never had a hamburger before? Whatever…you’ll like it.” They went in, ordered a couple of Big Mac’s, and sat down to eat.
“and that’s Coke a Cola.” Pit finished, as Micaiah ate.
“Wow, this stuff is good,” Micaiah said. She looked out the window and saw another building. “Ohh I love puppies! Can we go over there?” She pointed to the Puppy Emporium.
“Sure, you can go over. I’ll be right there; I wanna get another drink to go.” So Micaiah left, and Pit went back up to the soda machine (free refills).
Pit walked up to the machine, smiled to himself and whispered, “This is gonna be a good day.” Then he looked at his choices.
“Hmm…I like Root Beer (starts to fill his cup). But Mountain Dew is good too. (fills it more with mountain dew). Dr. Pepper. And Sprite. And Pepsi.” Once he was done making his soda, he took a sip, smiled, and then went to leave when he saw a familiar face.
“Dedede? Is that you?” Pit asked, as the large penguin like thing entered McDonalds.
“Hi Pit, how’s it going? Oh, by the way, I wanted to ask you something.”
“What?”
“Do you want to join my army?”
“You mean to take over Dream World?”
“No, my army…that…well yeah.”
“I thought you already ruled there.”
“I do, but nobody really listens to me so I’m gonna initiate another hostile takeover.”
“Well, hostile takeovers aren’t that nice though.”
“Well, yeah, but if I didn’t ask I’d have to force you to join my army.” By now they had walked up to the counter and Dedede ordered a milkshake.
“And how would you do that?”
“Well…”
--------------------
I was lying on my bed, just looking up at the ceiling.
“Let’s see…what’s my newest plan to make people realize I’m king…” I took out some flashcards and read them. “Make a nation holiday in my honor…no…make my own videogame?...nah, only geeks play videogames…hey, what’s this?” I picked up a note card, and read what it said.
Dear King Dedede,
I heard you talking about needing new plans so some of us got you an early birthday present. It will help you add members to your army.
Sheyfe, the Waddle Dee.
“I LOVE BIRTHDAY PRESENTS!” I yelled, and ran down to the Christmas room. Since I love holidays I have a room for each one! So first I went through the New Year’s room, and then Valentine Room, and then St. Patrick’s Day, and Easter and 4th of July and Halloween and then finally Christmas.”
-----------------------------------------------
“What happened to Thanksgiving?” Pit asked.
“I don’t consider it a real holiday,” Dedede replied, eating his Big Mac in one gulp.
“Why?”
“All you do there is eat a lot and I always eat that much. And nobody thanked me for giving them anything.”
“Did you ever give anyone something?”
“Not the point. There was one present under the tree, and when I opened it, I saw a laser gun, like Tabuu’s but yellow on the side.”
“No way,” Pit said, stunned. He had a spaced out look on his face, realizing what was happening. “You can’t use that, it can’t be good. Ganondorf and Bowser already have them too, and I would bet that Wolf and Wario have them too…”
“Then I better start building an army,” Dedede said, taking out the gun. “Sorry.” He began to shoot at Pit, who returned fire while backing out of the restaurant.
“Micaiah!” he yelled running out of the store. He headed to the pet store, and began to look for her. But when he didn’t see her, he ran deeper into the store, in hopes that Dedede had not seen him.
“I see you!” Dedede yelled running in after Pit. Dedede began firing lasers everywhere, not caring who was hit.
“What’s going on?” Micaiah asked, finding Pit, who were both hiding behind a shelf.
“Dedede. He’s bad. Like Ganondorf.” Pit said. Then, Dedede shot a shelf knocking it over, and hitting a golden lab that had gotten loose. He was still a puppy and now had a cut along his side and was bleeding.
“Oh no,” Micaiah said, and ran over to heal him. Pit knew Dedede would see this, and ran at him, slashing at him. Pit nearly slashed the laser gun in half, so Dedede decided,
“I better get an army first, you’re going to be hard to capture.” He then left, and started float jumping away.
“Ok…so what exactly happened?” Pit asked as the store manager came out, and Micaiah came up to Pit holding up the puppy.
“Thanks for getting rid of that guy,” the manager said. “If you ever need anything, just ask.”
“How much is this puppy?” Micaiah asked.
“Don’t worry about it. You guys can have him for free,” the store manager said. “It’s just lucky you guys were here to help us.”
“That’s a great name! We’ll call him Lucky, ok?” Micaiah asked Pit. Pit nodded and smiled.
“So how long have you two been going out?” the manager asked Pit. Micaiah laughed, and the manager and Pit looked at her.
“We’re not going out,” she laughed. Pit’s smile faltered, and they walked out the door and headed towards the city, when they saw Meta Knight’s ship falling out of the sky, on fire, heading south.
“We better go help him, he’s a friend,” Pit said pointing to the ship. “Well go there right after we stop in the city.” And they walked towards the bright lights of the city, Micaiah in the lead, Lucky trailing her and waging his tail, and Pit just a step behind them.
Chapter 3 --- The Destruction of Pokemon Stadium 3
www.youtube.com/watch?v=KYWILAecX_Q
Pokemon Stadium 3 was not much of an improvement over Pokemon Stadium 2, but with a better scoreboard (in HD) and the floor of the main stage was blue, but other then that looked the same.
“WELCOME ONE AND ALL TO POKEMON STADIUM 3, FOR THE DOUBLES TOURNAMENT. IT HAS BEEN AN EXCITING DAY, AND NOW WE’RE AT THE SEMI FINALS. IN THIS FIRST MATCH, WE HAVE JON AND STACY, WHO HAVE ARE EXPERTS IN DOUBLES BATTLES, WINNING A RECORD 5 TOURNAMENTS. THEIR CHALLENGERS ONLY GO BY THEIR NICKNAMES, SO HERE ARE RED AND GREEN!”
Red walked out into the stadium and after a few steps turned and urged Green to come out into the stadium. She wasn’t big on being in front of everyone, in public, but she was urged by her friend to finally fight in a tournament. And he almost didn’t make it. He showed up only a few days before the tournament was supposed to begin, claiming he had been on some crazy adventure that took way too long.
“BEFORE THIS NEXT MATCH I WOULD LIKE TO ISSUE ANOTHER REMINDER, ONE OF THE VENDORS ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE STADIUM HAS LOST A CLEFAIRY DOLL. IT IS BELIEVED TO HAVE BEEN STOLEN. YOU CAN TELL IF IT IS BY THE EXTRA UNSOLD TAG STILL ON IT. IF YOU SEE IT, PLEASE RETURN THE DOLL OR REPORT IT TO THE NEAREST OFFICER JENNY. NOW WITHOUT FURTHER ADO, LETS BEGIN THE SEMI FINALS!”
“Squirtle!” Red called out, and he threw out his first pokemon.
“Vaporeon!” Green yelled.
“Gyrados!” Jon called.
“Electabuzz!” Stacy yelled.
“Tackle maneuver 2!” Red called, and Vaporeon charged at Electabuzz, and created a mist in front of it. As it jumped to tackle Electabuzz it disappeared into the mist, and Squirtle hit Electabuzz from behind.
“Return Gyrados!” Jon called. “Go Exeggutor!”
Green silently called back Vaporeon, and sent out Flareon.
“Exeggutor, razor leaf!” Exeggutor sent leaves at Squirtle, but Flareon lit them all on fire, so before they reached Squirtle, they had burnt to ash.
“Oh no folks, it looks like the stage is changing!” At this point the stage began to change, and everyone called back their pokemon. The symbol for poison turned up of the screen, and the floor dipped down, and was filled to the surface with poison. There were 3 platforms to stand on, arranged like the ones on battlefield, which were drop through.
“Venemoth!” Jon called.
“Muk!” Stacy called out.
“Charizard!” Red called out.
“Jolteon!” Green summoned.
“Shiek Needle Storm!” Red called out, a tactic he had thought of just at the beginning of the tournament. Charizard grabbed Jolteon, whose back was now towards the other pokemon. Charizard flew over the other pokemon, and Jolteon shot needles at them. The stage soon changed back to normal, but right after it did, something caused the first tournament at Pokemon Stadium 3 to never end.
Everyone heard a loud explosion over the stadium, and looked up at the clouds, including the fighting pokemon.
“What was that?” Red asked aloud.
--------------------------------------
Samus and Captain Falcon appeared at a hanger where they saw Samus’ starship.
“…And that’s how I won the Grand Prix for the 5th time,” Captain Falcon finished. They were going to do surveillance duty. Samus sighed as she got in; she was tired of hearing Captain Falcon brag all the time. As Falcon started on a new story and Samus began to fly the ship. She wasn’t really listening, but nodded every so often so it would look like she was. In reality she was thinking about Red. Recently she had begun to like him, and she was pretty sure he liked her back. But right now Samus was kind of dating Falcon, bringing up the problem.
“Hey,” Captain Falcon said. “Is something wrong? You look like you’re thinking about something else.”
“Yeah I’m fine,” Samus smiled. Even though Falcon did brag too much, he was very caring at times when he noticed something wrong. But most of the time he was incredibly oblivious.
“We should probably head down there, we should check out those ominous looking dark clouds.” Captain Falcon pointed out the clouds that were beginning to gather a little ways south. Samus looked towards the ground, and saw a stadium.
“Well, that’s convenient,” she whispered.
“What?”
“Nothing.” Just that Red is probably down there.
So she guided the ship south, and went into the clouds.
Neither could see anything, nor hear anything for that matter. After some time of being in the clouds, Falcon suggested. “Maybe it’s just rain clouds.” But then, there was a large explosion. The ship had been hit, and then more maroon laser beams were shot, all missing the ship.
“We gotta get out of here!” Samus yelled.
“What about the thing shooting at us?” Falcon asked.
“If we can’t see it, hopefully it can’t see us.” The ship began to fly back to the Space District, but a few lucky hits sent the ship crashing towards the stadium.
-------------------------------------
“Everyone get out of here!” yelled Red. The crowd began to leave. “Any trainers bring your pokemon here, we may need to fight. What Red had seen was this huge object falling out of the sky, right towards the stadium. No one could tell what it was but everyone knew it wasn’t good. Normally things falling out of the sky are bad. Green backed up, and moved closer to Red. The remaining trainers moved out of the way as the ship crashed into the middle of the stadium. Water pokemon began to put out the small fires that were burning on the ship, while the rest of the pokemon were ready to fight.
“Wait, stop, they’re friends!” Red had recognized the ship, and ran up to the pieces of metal that were moving, to help them out. Green walked forward a little, seeing that Red obviously thought it was safe.
“Who are they?” she asked as Red looked through the crashed ship.
“This is Samus’ ship, and she was supposed to be with Falcon,” Red replied, saying Falcon in disgust.
Green frowned. That meant two things. One: his story was true. Red had been on an amazing journey, without her. She felt kind of disappointed, since they had been friends since they were young, and did nearly everything together. She also wished she had believed him. Two: Samus was real. Red looked really worried, but also happy to know whose ship it was. She had heard stories about Samus from Red. Red talked about her a lot. And a lot. To the point she couldn’t stand it anymore.
Red first helped out Captain Falcon, who was dirty and had more then a few scratches from the crash landing. But still, Green saw he was muscular, just as Red had described (in an angry tone). Then, she saw Red helping out a woman. During the crash landing Samus’ power suit had been destroyed, as she was now in her Zero Suit. Green looked down at herself and then back at Samus.
“Crap,” she said. She looked around, and all the other boy trainers were looking at Samus, the girl trainers were rolling their eyes and trying to get the boys to look away.
“Nothing to see here, time to go,” Samus told all of the trainers. She smiled at Red, and they walked into a clear area of the stadium.
“Did you see what as shooting at us?” Samus asked, and she, Red, Falcon and Green all looked up to the sky, and saw no one, and the clouds had disappeared. (by this time the other trainers had left).
“We should go tell Mewtwo,” Red said.
“Do you know where he is?” Captain Falcon asked. No one did.
“Maybe someone else will know,” Green suggested.
“Yeah, we could get my ship and find some of the others,” Captain Falcon said.
“Great! Just call it and we’ll be on our way,” Samus said.
“Umm…funny story about that,” Captain Falcon started. “You see…I kinda left the calling remote in the car.” Everyone else sighed in disappointment, their heads went down a few inches, and a drop of water appeared on their heads like they do in pokemon shows.
“Then we’ll have to walk,” Red said.
“Ok, it’s parked in my hanger, follow me,” Captain Falcon said. He led them out of the stadium and to the north.
-------------------------------
After walking for some time, Captain Falcon had gotten bored, and asked, “Any of you guys want to hear my story about how I won my 50th race?”
“NO!” Red and Samus said at the same time. They had both heard the story multiple times, something like knocking everyone else off the course, and having help from two kids or something… But when they said it, Samus and Red looked at each other, and smiled. Green saw this and glared; Red saw her and then looked away and holding his head as if to say, ‘aw crap this is awkward’.
“Sure I’d love to hear it,” Green said, and looked for Red’s reaction. He looked back at her with an expression that said, ‘wtf him? You just met him, how can…?’ Green smiled. She would be able to use that knowledge later. Samus though, saw this and asked herself, What does he see in her?”
“Ok,” Captain Falcon replied, oblivious to what was going on. After his story ended, they decided to stop and rest.
Everyone glared at each other, aside from Captain Falcon, who didn’t know anything of the who likes who within the group. But it was a tense sitting.
“Can I have some water?” Captain Fsalcon asked, breaking the silence.
“Sure,” Green replied sweetly. She reached into her bag, past a Clefairy doll with one too many tags on it, and pulled out a bottle of water.
“Are we close?” Red asked.
“Yep,” Captain Falcon said, and he led them up a hill. “This is the space district.” Red and Green looked in awe as they saw futuristic city, with hovercars, spaceships, and everything else they had only imagined.
Then they saw Arwings, followed by some Wolfens heading north. It seemed to be a chase.
Chapter 4: Honor
www.youtube.com/watch?v=oic6wAnSX6o&feature=related
It was a large circular room, as tall as a skyscraper. On all sides of the room were doors, with walkways connecting the doors. At the bottom there was a pool of water, with a walkway that was 3-4 feet wide around it. Near the top, a lone walkway led up to a circular platform, on which a gigantic bird like creature rested. The creature was very temperamental, so when the space pirate walked up there, he did the best to keep quiet. But it was a metal walkway, and since he was wearing a metal suit, it was futile. The space pirate walked unsteadily, as if he was drunk, up to the top platform, somehow not waking the bird. He placed the package next to it, and began to walk away, but because of the way he walked, he fell over the edge of the platform. In the air the space pirate put his arms out, and seemed more comfortable then when he was walking. Eventually he landed in the pool of water below, making a big splash in the process, and began flapping his arms around. As other space pirates gathered around the pool of water and went to help, the bird awoke, and saw the package next to it. It began to read the attached note.
Dear Ridley,
Some of the space pirates and I were working on a project; hopefully you will pleased with our work. Good luck on expanding our army.
Srouroa, the space pirate.
Ridley stretched his wings, and began to open the package. When he finally finished, he saw a ray gun, like all of the other’s, but on the side it was maroon. He decided to try it out, and so he flew out of his lair, and searched for his prey. He first saw Samus’ ship, so he tried to hide in the clouds and shoot them down. But when he did, he spotted larger prey to go after. (I will not describe what happened to Samus and Falcon again, but please read the previous chapter.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Meta Knight was steering his ship around the forest district, going to look for anything out of place.
“Of course I have surveillance duty again,” Meta Knight muttered to himself. “I signed up for it, but you’d think someone could come with me and help, but noooo….” Meta Knight’s ship shook, and Meta Knight began making his way to the top of the ship. “Finally some action.”
On the top of the ship, Meta Knight saw a humongous bird, shooting maroon lasers at the ship. Drawing his sword, the fight began.
Meta Knight jumped in the air and slashed at Ridley as the bird dodged out of range. Ridley took shots at Meta Knight, which Meta Knight dodged with his cape. Meta Knight swung his sword, and a lightning bolt came off the end of his sword, which barely missed Ridley.
Ridley began to get tired of playing with this prey, and so decided to leave and do whatever else he fancied. But before he left, Ridley took another couple shots, and hit a critical part of the ship, causing it to begin to plummet to the earth. Meta Knight walked to the bow of the ship (still on top of it) and looked down at the ground, ready for death.
“A captain always goes down…” Meta Knight began, but as the ship neared its impact, Meta Knight felt a cold metal grip on him, and he was pulled from the ship. He struggled as he was pulled towards a tree, and broke free. After landing on the ground he turned to his ship, to see it burst into flames.
“Fool,” Meta Knight said, looking at the ground. Although he heard a soft thud on the ground, and knew who was walking up behind him, Meta Knight did not turn around.
“Are you alright?” Young Link asked. “Why didn’t you try to get off?”
“What is the use?!?” Meta Knight screamed at him. Ravens, hearing the yell, flew out of the trees, startled.
“…You wanted to crash?” Young Link asked after a small pause, confused.
“Yes. So far I have already had my ship stolen, and now it is destroyed. And a captain goes down with his ship.”
“But that’s stupid!”
“NO IT IS NOT! DOES NO ONE UNDERSTAND HONOR ANYMORE?!?”
“Well, too bad, you’re alive. But what made you crash?” Young Link asked, angry he did not at least get a thank you.
“Well…” and Meta Knight told of the battle with Ridley.
“Ok, well, we better alert everyone else,” Young Link said who then turned south and began to walk.
“What do you mean we?” Meta Knight asked, not moving.
“Don’t you want to tell everyone?”
“NO. What have they ever done for me?”
“Well, they were kind to you…”
“They were a load of trouble.”
“But look at all your new friends…”
“I have no friends. I’m better off alone.” Meta Knight turned. “I’m going to leave.”
Young Link had a solemn look on his face. “No you won’t. You know it’s not right. Now let’s go.” Young Link headed south, and after about 20 paces looked back to see Meta Knight following.
“Where are we going?” Meta Knight asked.
“A cabin. We need some food, and I saw one a bit south from here.”
They traveled the rest of the trip in silence. When they finally reached the cabin, both were thirsty and hungry. No light came through the trees, and the only light was from a few torches by the door of the house.
“Hmm…nice and inviting,” Meta Knight commented sarcastically. “I’ll wait out here. He leaned up against a wall of the building.
“What?!?” Young Link asked, slightly unnerved. He did not want to go in a creepy cabin in the woods. But it was the only place nearby that might have food. So Young Link went in.
Inside the house it was dark, again with only a few torches to light the places. There was a kitchen area, a bed, and a table to eat at. And of course, the little girl stirring a green bubbling liquid in a cauldron. Everything was decorated in reds and black, including the bedspread, curtain, and the rug. Young Link was “slightly” more unnerved by this, and the fact that the door had swung shut of its own accord when he entered, but after a minute got up the courage to ask,
“Umm…hi…uh….d…d’you mind if I borrow some food? Me and my…”
“How do you give back borrowed food?” the girl asked, not looking up.
“Well…I…I mean…is that no?”
The girl did not respond.
“If you don’t say anything I’ll take it as a yes.”
Still no response.
Young Link walked up to the refrigerator, and took out two bottles of water (drawn on with black sharpie) Trail Mix, and a couple apples. He went over to the table, put a blue rupee on it, and headed to the door. “Umm…It won’t open.”
The girl then got up, walked over to the table and inspected the rupee. “What’s this?”
“A rupee…money,” Young Link explained further when he received a blank stare.
“You’re paying me? And you’re taking that little food?”
“Well, uhh, yeah…why?”
“You aren’t going to take advantage of me or bully me?”
“No, why would I do that?”
“All of the other guys who wander the forest and stop here did that.”
“Look…can I just go?”
“Where are you going?”
“To find some friends…cause there…”
“Can I come?”
“What?!?” Young Link was caught off guard by this question.
“It’s boring here, and I want to do something besides study magic.”
“Well, I guess sure…”
“Great! Let me pack.” She headed back to the cauldron to get something. “Can you get my suitcase from under the bed? But don’t look in it.” Young Link took out the suitcase, put it on the bed, and started to unlatch it, but the girl was suddenly behind him, with an angry look on her face.
“I said don’t open it.” Young Link took a few steps back, his hands up, still unsure of the girl. She then waved her wand, and the suitcase opened, and everything started to fly into it. Young Link watched in amazement as the last thing, the bed, flew (and shrunk) into it, with the suitcase falling onto the empty floor. The suitcase then shrunk, which the girl picked up and put into her pocket. She led the way out of the house.
“So…what’s your name again? I’m Young Link.” Young Link asked.
“It’s Ashley,” she simply replied.

Olimar was being held captive in some foreign factory, one that seemed familiar but yet, different. He could not put his finger on it, but he felt like he had been there before. There were some space pirates guarding him, but they had on weird, funky new suits which he could not describe. And they were short. (well, he wasn’t one to talk, but…).
“Travel log…” he said to a recorder. “It’s been nearly 1 day. I have been given no food or water, and wonder how much longer I can survive. I…” There was an explosion, and the space pirates guarding the door fell to the ground. The hologram door disappeared (it was more like a maroon sheet of glass, which he could not pass through.) and in stepped Snake.
“Quick. Let’s go.” Snake led the way, and the two fought their way out. After a while it became easier, as the pirates could not find anyone to give them orders, and so they ran around like chickens without heads.
“Through this vent,” Snake called, and he slid down a vent whose cover was off, and Olimar followed. After sliding for about a 15 seconds, they landed in a large underground pipe.
“Follow me, the way out is south,” Snake said, not turning around.
“Ohh, uhh, by the way, thanks for helping me,” Olimar said.
“Yeah whatever, just don’t do anything stupid again.” They walked in silence for some time, but before they had reached the exit, they met some space pirates, who were blocking their way, the space pirates advanced, and so did Snake, when a person appeared between them.
“Kooloo-Limpah!” he said, and the pirates suddenly sprouted flowers on their heads. They continued to be hurt, and eventually fainted on the ground. Snake and Olimar looked at this newcomer, but couldn’t figure out what to say. Finally, Snake broke the silence.
“…What the f*** are you?”
“I’m Tingle!”
“Again…What the f*** are you?”
“I’m Tingle!”
“…ok I’m leaving.” Snake continued on towards the exit, with Olimar following close behind. After a minute Snake looked back, though, and saw Tingle still following them.
“Now,” Snake said, finding a ladder, “let’s get outta here.”

“Gold.”

Young Link led Meta Knight and Ashley towards the city. Nobody spoke for the longest time, until Young Link tried to break the silence again.
“So…umm, what were you doing in that cabin?”
“What do you care?” Ashley asked.
“I…I was just wondering. Jeez.” They walked on for another minute in silence.
“I was practicing magic,” Ashley randomly said.
“Really? You can do magic?” Young Link asked.
“Yeah. I’ve been training since I was young. But I needed a quiet place to work. So I went to a random forest and found a cabin. But so much for having quiet. Lots of lost people showed up, and they were all jerks. One of the people who stopped even tried to hit on me. The loser.” Then, right in front of them in the path, part of the grass lifted up to reveal a manhole, and 3 people climbed out of it. Also, they heard footsteps from another direction, and saw 3 more people enter the pathway.
“You!” Ashley and Gold yelled at the same time.
“Fairy boy!” yelled Tingle. Young Link moaned.
“Fairy boy?!?” Snake burst into laughter. “You know him!”
“Look, we need to go, some people were chasing us,” Kirby said.
“That can’t be good,” Olimar replied.
Everyone though, stopped talking as the sky flashed red and all looked up.
“And neither can that,” Meta Knight said.
