(Previously: Mewtwo made his appearance and saved the Wario team. Let us see how Link is doing against the monsterous Gredlor.)
Link and Kirby charged Gredlor, taking turns swinging their swords at him. Gredlor was either dodging or parrying the blows, rather easily, but was being slowly pushed backwards.
Mew! Link stopped, looking around for the origin of the strange sound. MEW!! Gredlor and Kirby both stopped, looking just as dumbfounded as Link. I know for a fact that Gredlor isn't as violent as he lets on.
"Bull... if he wasn't then why are Marth and Roy both dead and why did he bury his axe in King Dee Dee Dee's neck?" Link felt like he was talking to thin air, but he got a responce that sounded like it was coming from his own mind.
He may have killed King Dee Dee Dee, but Marth and Roy are not dead. He had them imprisoned in that giant jailhouse he constantly travels to. Link spun around and looked at the dead bodies of Marth and Roy and decided to get a closer look. Link kneeled next to the bodies and realized that the texture of the skin and blood wasn't right.
"These are dummies... dressed up and painted to look like Marth and Roy." Gredlor began laughing and Link looked up to see a small pink mouse-thing floating around him, repeatedly saying "Mew".
My name is Mew, I can not speak outright, but I can speak through telepathy. Gredlor, do you really want to work for Grondorvan? You have the power to help these people stop him. Grondorvan thought it over, then looked into the large army of swordsmen around him.
"I guess if I'm going to change, I can start... NOW!!!" Gredlor rushed into the swordsmen, swinging his axe around, sending his own soldiers flying to their deaths in every direction. Link, Kirby and Mew all looked after him in awe and amazement.
I think he could of asked them to help.
"yeah..." Link looked over at Mew, who was floating pretty close to him, and decided to pat him on the head.
I'm not a a cat, stop trying to win my affection.
"Maybe he already asked..." Kirby spit out a large star that flew over and knocked one of the dumbfounded swordsmen out. Kirby had lost his sword when he spat out the star and was now bouncing around happily.
"That does not fit this scene at all."
I concur. Gredlor came back into the circle, sweating and breathing heavy.
"Okay, the rest of these guys have agreed... whoo.... to accompany us and fight against my boss. We now have a war on our hands."
