(Last time on The Rift: Wario betrays Peach after she gives him Mario's last gift to her. Now if you remember there was a villian, Gredlor, who was quite kind to Peach, let us find out his story.)
Gredlor sat Indian-style outside the main door of the penatentiary, his battle-axe laying in front of him. He looked down at the axe trying to remember his father, who had given it to him. His father was a great warrior, he had his green skin, but his father had pitch black hair and a far superior build.
"You were my only inspiration, Dad." He didn't mind if anyone heard him talking to himself, he always imagined his father's spirit sitting next to him. His late father was always there to listen to him, train him and give him advice. His father towered over him, but he towered over everyone in this world.
"You really need to stop talking to yourself. People might think that you're completely insane." Gredlor looked up to see Seria standing in front of him, one hand on her hip and the other holding a dagger at her side. He patted the ground next to him and she walked over and sat down. Seria and Gredlor had starting seeing eachother after a year of being forced into this strange world.
"You remember the first day we met?" Gredlor began, laughing lightly. "You said that you hated my guts, I said 'The feelings mutual' and then we started being freinds. It was the funniest thing I can ever remember." Seria began laughing and leaned against his shoulder and closed her eyes as if remembering something.
"I never expected that you would be so cool... no offence. But you surprised me and you stole my heart. You sealed the deal when you saved me from that long-nosed green dude and the giant spiked turtle." Gredlor knew she was talking about the self proclaimed 'King Bowser' and 'King of all Evil', but laughed it off.
"Well, I have to go capture a few more princesses before Grondorvan finds me 'slacking off'." Seria stood up with Gredlor and went up on her tip-toes to give him a kiss. She wished him luck and he nodded then began sprinting west, for Hyrule Castle.
'You better be careful Grondorvan, any harm that comes to these girls, will be inflicted on you ten-fold.'
